Pregunta: Soy residente permanente desde el 2021. Mis hijas tuvieron unos moretones por jugar afuera pero me acusaron de haberles pegado a ellas. Desde entonces el DFACS empezó a investigar y después cerraron mi caso con DFACS. La policía me llevo a la cárcel y salí bajo fianza. Desde entonces todavía no me han llamado para mi corte y ahora quiero ver a mi familia en mi país. ¿Me afectara salir de EE. UU. y tendré algún problema al regresar?
Pregunta: Mi esposo y yo somos indocumentados. Mi hija está por cumplir 21 años y mi suegro es ciudadano. ¿Cuál es el proceso por seguir y cuánto dura?
Pregunta: ¿Cuánto tarda en llegar los resultados de las huellas (FOIA)? En el 2006 fui detenido en la frontera por un par de horas pero nunca me dijeron nada y no sé si me pusieron algún cargo/castigo. ¿Qué tipo de FOIA tengo que hacer?
Pregunta: Mi hijo mayor ya tiene 23 años, pero cuando tenía 17 y 18 le llamamos a la policía porque las drogas los hacían maltratarnos. Tenemos los reportes de la policía pero siempre nos decían que no podíamos arreglar por eso. Mi esposo y yo entramos aquí sin documentos de México en 1998 y tenemos 3 hijos ciudadanos. ¿Podemos solicitar el VAWA por haber sido maltratados por nuestro hijo?
