and money.
You, my friend, are in theright place.
(00:43):
I'm glad you're here.
Speaker 2 (00:44):
Welcome back to the
Paradigm you podcast.
This is episode 157.
Speaker 4 (00:51):
Lisa can you believe
it?
Amazing, I really can't.
No, I'm small.
Speaker 2 (00:55):
So quickly and we are
continuing the topic of
subconscious reprogramming andhow you can harness the power
within by tapping into thisamazing tool.
So we're going to be talkingabout this all of the month of
November, but today inparticular, we want to make sure
that we are kind of doing anintro to subconscious
(01:16):
reprogramming, because last weekwe started with talking about
the resistance that's coming up.
Lisa, and I don't know if Itold you, but we've gotten so
many messages asking for moredetails on how to do this when
you would do this, where to goto get this, and I said you know
what?
We just got to do an intro andactually cover a lot of the
starter topics before we can goany farther.
Speaker 4 (01:36):
Absolutely Having a
foundational understanding of
how this all works is really keyto implementing it.
Speaker 2 (01:42):
It is.
It is because it's an amazingtool, but if you don't know how
to apply it or when to use it,or all the intricacies, it may
not be helpful.
So, lisa, where's a good placeto start in your mind?
Speaker 4 (01:57):
You know what a great
question.
I think for me, especiallycoaching the last whatever 20
years that the first thing toreally understand is that you
cannot think your way to higherperformance.
That really stood out to mewhen I started the subconscious
reprogramming journey, becauseso much in the coaching field
(02:18):
especially, or in the personaldevelopment space, we read
something and we think if wejust think that then we can have
that.
And if that was true, napoleonHill's book Thinking Grow Rich,
everyone who read it would berich, and we know that that's
not the case, and so I thinkit's important for everyone to
really understand that if youcould just think your way to a
(02:41):
higher performance or to getanything you want, you would
already have that.
So now that we know that youcan't just think your way to it,
that you have to be somethingdifferent, I think that allows
us a bit of a framework to walkinto understanding context and
what's really happening aroundus.
Speaker 2 (03:01):
Yeah, you know, lisa,
inside of our Elevate Group you
actually did a really greattraining that you explained.
What are the top three ways ofsubconscious reprogramming?
Do you remember what those are?
Speaker 4 (03:12):
Yeah, well, one of
them is you cannot think your
way to higher performance.
The other is brain biology isreally habits.
So when we talk about habitsand we will be talking about
that here more inside thepodcast, but a lot of times we
can personalize that and reallythat's just brain based science
and we actually perform thosethings every day on autopilot
(03:36):
because that's how we've justconditioned ourselves to behave.
And the other one really isthat you have to be the person
first, yeah, and when we talkabout B.
Speaker 2 (03:46):
I think it's
important to kind of tap into
that a little bit.
Who do you have to be?
We've recorded episodes on thisbefore.
But consider it also from thelens of, if you look at it, the
letters B, e.
It's also behavior, yeah, andwhat behaviors do you need to
enable or, you know, portray, and then, what are your beliefs?
(04:07):
I think those things you haveto keep those in mind, because
when you want to change thesethings, those are the things
that you have to rewrite toenable the change that you wish
to see.
Speaker 4 (04:19):
Absolutely.
What a beautiful way to say it.
And those are two powerfulwords in the world of
subconscious reprogramming, because first you have to be the
behavior.
So consistency, repetition thisis going to be key for anyone
who wants to actually acceleratetheir growth and change using
subconscious reprogramming.
Speaker 2 (04:39):
Yeah, you know, one
of the really fun things that I
think is important to understandis that most of us, for most
people, our subconsciousprogramming is really developed
in our youth.
In fact, most researchers saythat it's developed by the age
of eight Is that wild.
Speaker 4 (04:58):
That's so wild it is.
And hearing that thinking ohman, that explains my eldest a
lot.
What was I subconsciouslyprogramming into this
subconscious?
And it's definitely changed howI parent my second, yeah.
Speaker 2 (05:14):
Yeah, Because if you
think about it, if we're
programming our little ones thatwe're around before the age of
eight, they're really creatingtheir entire subconscious
programs and memories andunderstanding of the world.
It's so important for us tothink about the words that we
use, how we engage with thesechildren and also, equally, for
(05:37):
us as adults and I'd say most ofthe people who gravitate to
this podcast are people who wantto grow and expand and, you
know, get into the nitty grittyof personal development.
It's important to understandthat your subconscious
programming was developed fromyour youth.
Speaker 4 (05:54):
Yeah, it's such a
powerful awareness for you right
now, in this moment, to reallybreathe that in, because now you
get to look at and say, okay, what was possibly programmed
into me by the environment thatI grew up with, by the people
that I was around, by the schoolthat I was in, whatever it may
be, the religious place that youwent every week, whatever it is
(06:18):
, we were all.
We were all indoctrinated, andthat's not a bad word.
I know it gets a lot ofpolitical hype.
That's not my intention here.
It's simply an indication thatwe were imprinted with things in
our youth and now, as an adult,we find times where, oh man,
we're button up against someglass ceilings or maybe getting
(06:39):
triggered on things, and a lotof that has to do simply with
who we were formed in our youth, that we didn't have a role in
other than simply being there.
Yep.
Speaker 2 (06:51):
Yeah.
So if you are listening to thisand you're thinking, huh,
there's an area of my life thatI would like to change, I think
it's really important torecognize that, that area of
life that you're wanting tochange now.
The imprints that you had whenyou were a child are probably
the ones the beliefs, thebehaviors, the understandings of
(07:12):
the world.
All of those are nested fromyour childhood and imprinted on
your subconscious beliefs.
You know, aristotle actuallysays give me a child until the
age of seven or eight and I'llshow you the person that they
will become.
And you know, when you startthinking about that, it's like,
oh, I start looking at my ownchildhood and I'm like, oh, yep,
yep, I see it, I see it.
Speaker 4 (07:35):
Yes, same here.
I look around going yep, thattracks, that tracks, that tracks
, yep.
And equally, when you startreprogramming you go oh, now I
know why I really am the anomalyin the family, or why I am
starting to recognize how I'mdifferent.
You know, and that's okay too, yeah.
Speaker 2 (07:57):
So if you are
somebody who's digging this and
you're like, okay, now Iunderstand it.
Now I understand how mysubconscious was formed with
those beliefs and those imprints, what do I do?
What's the next?
Speaker 4 (08:11):
step.
Well, you tell us because youknow you are certified in all of
this, so you really understandthe ins and outs here, april,
and I believe there are fourdifferent ways that you would
encourage people to startlooking at from a place to
actually start some subconsciousreprogramming right.
Speaker 2 (08:29):
Yes, and I would love
to tell you that, but I do
think that there's an importantpiece that we have to just call
out it's kind of like theelephant that's in the podcast
room and that is that there's alot of people who have a fear
around this idea.
Speaker 4 (08:47):
Oh so true, yes, like
they're going to click like a
chicken or something.
Speaker 2 (08:52):
Yes, so here's the
thing I very clearly remember I
was so excited when I firstlearned about these concepts and
I was actually in the processof becoming a certified
hypnotherapist and it was sointeresting.
Lisa, I was telling somebodyall about this and they got so
defensive and they literally putand this is somebody who I have
a great relationship with theyliterally put up their hand like
(09:15):
to my face, and they're likestop talking.
And I said, well, why isn'tthis so incredible?
And I found out that they hadso many stories and beliefs that
were tied to what they thoughtI was going to tell them and I
was going to get them to dosomething scary or embarrassing
or concerning.
And they're like I don't evenyou're, you're talking like
(09:36):
snake tongue or something.
I don't even know what any ofthe voodoo, you, harry Potter.
Yeah, right, that's what I waslike what is that called?
Oh man, don't give me to that.
My kids are loving Harry Potter.
But anyways, a lot of peoplehave concerns that they may do
something embarrassing orconcerning while they're in or
(09:56):
working on subconsciousreprogramming.
So I am here to tell you thatyour conscious mind and your
subconscious mind must always bein harmony.
That's like a guiding rule, andbecause of that, that means
that you won't do anything whilereprogramming your subconscious
.
That goes against your corebeliefs.
So, for example, if youwouldn't rob a bank in your
(10:21):
conscious state of being, thenyou won't rob a bank while
you're reprogramming yoursubconscious.
Yeah, it's really important tocall that out, and I think some
of the subconsciousreprogramming gets a stigma or a
story attached to it because ofpeople who are stage hypnotists
or people who are doingperformance.
That is a complete.
(10:42):
That's not what we're talkingabout here.
They're sure there's a littlebit of correlation and I can
explain to you what they'redoing in detail, but I want to
tell you that what we're talkingabout today has nothing to do
with making you cluck like achicken or rob a bank.
Got it.
Speaker 4 (10:59):
Also, the medical
community really does endorse
this, and so so I think it'salso something for you to just
know that this isn't TomFulverie or Quackery at all.
It's actually a very legitimate, legitimate practice and
Healing modality things toconsider in order to accelerate
your growth wherever that is.
Speaker 2 (11:20):
Yeah, in fact,
actually I don't know if you
know this um least, but theStanford Medical team actually
has endorsed hypnosis, andhere's a quote like right out of
the words it says by.
This is by David Spiegel.
It says hypnosis may seem likemagic.
And when I say hypnosis, that'sjust one form of subconscious
(11:40):
reprogramming.
But they say hypnosis may seemlike magic, yet evidence proves
it is significantly therapeuticand scientifically proven and we
know it works.
We don't know exactly how, butthe science is beginning to
figure it out and if it was apill, we would all be
prescribing it.
Speaker 4 (12:01):
Such a great quote
really, really powerful stuff.
Speaker 2 (12:04):
Yeah.
So now that we've talked aboutmaking sure that you're not
clucking like a chicken andwe've explained to you that your
subconscious truly is imprintedby the age of seven or eight,
we want to actually talk to youa little bit about what are some
of the ways and forms that youcan actually do this, and lisi
said that there was four, andyou're correct, there's a lot of
(12:26):
them.
But I'd say you know what we dowithin our coaching programs is
we really subscribe to four.
Two of them are the two that wesee consistently working on a
regular basis, the best, but Iwould say all four of these can
accelerate Any kind of changesthat you're wanting to see in
your life, and the first onebeing affirmations.
(12:47):
Do you want to talk a littlebit about that, because you were
actually just teaching aboutthis a couple weeks ago.
Speaker 4 (12:52):
Yeah, and I wouldn't
say it's affirmations in the
sense of, you know, just tellingyourself I'm awesome or I'm
fitting, healthy and Rich.
It's really about a multisensory experience when you're
working with the subconsciousmind, and so the first level of
kind of self affirmations reallydoes involve an intentional
scripting of what it is you wantand then repeating that.
(13:14):
So there are definitely toolsand resources available and we
we share those inside elevate.
But for now, what you could dois just get a lot of clarity On
exactly what you want in yourlife Not what you don't want,
okay, but what you do want andrepeat those as frequently as
you can during the day.
Speaker 2 (13:36):
Yeah, that's a big
one.
You know, the the consistencypiece is key.
The other one that we see themost value in is doing exercises
tied to visualizations.
When you're seeing it, you'refeeling it, you're having a
whole lot of those details andit's radiating through your body
.
It's actually changing thechemistry makeup of your body,
(13:59):
the energetic frequency thatyour body is vibrating at, and
what's really exciting aboutthat is that your subconscious
starts to feel that it sees it.
It doesn't know the differencebetween truth or fiction, and so
the cool part is is you canstart changing and imprinting
those higher elevated feelingsOn to your subconscious, and
(14:20):
then your subconscious says ohwell, when I think or do x, it
makes me feel really good.
Speaker 4 (14:26):
Yeah, it's pretty.
Speaker 2 (14:27):
Yeah.
Speaker 4 (14:28):
I love it so much.
Our brain is such a powerfultool on the journey for sure,
and if you're looking to createa new habit or stop an old one,
this is.
This is gold right here, andyeah, it happened quicker.
Speaker 2 (14:40):
Those are our top two
that we consistently see
working and accelerating changethe fastest.
The other two that I think areimportant to note is the first
one being hypnosis and instantself hypnosis.
In fact, Lisa, I don't know ifyou know this, but I actually
used self hypnosis to birth oneof my children.
I did know that.
Speaker 4 (15:01):
So cool.
Speaker 2 (15:04):
You know it's.
I can go on on about the thescientific approaches to medical
healing that you can use, but Ithink that has to be in another
podcast.
Speaker 3 (15:16):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 2 (15:18):
But then the other
one, along with hypnosis and
self hypnosis, would bemeditation and breathwork, and
that one's probably one of theeasiest and I would say that's
almost like a gateway drug Ifyou, if you ask me it's, you
know, tape.
Taking those deep breaths allowyour brain waves to lower to a
different frequency, whichallows you to really start
(15:38):
recalibrating your subconsciousfor the intended changes that
you want.
And we'll talk about the brainand how it works a little bit
more in one of our next episodes.
But I think that's important totalk about those four top ways
to reprogram.
Speaker 4 (15:51):
Yeah, absolutely.
And at this point you might beasking well, how can I, how can
I start actually using this?
And what we would encourage youto think about is, again, first
get clear on what it is youwant and then you have to start
building the habit, becausereally the key with any of
whatever you pick, one of thosefour ways that April just shared
, is really to understand it'sall about building a healthy
(16:14):
habit to actually repeat, repeat, repeat, because consistency is
how you're going to actuallyreprogram your brain at this
phase.
Speaker 2 (16:23):
Yeah, so we aren't
advocating for you to go out and
try all of them at once.
Everybody works a little bitdifferently.
This episode is truly justscratch the surface.
Get you a little curious, especially if you haven't been
exposed to this, because mostpeople haven't been exposed to
these concepts or these ideas atall.
So I think it's important thatwe don't overwhelm anyone.
(16:44):
You know, I know, when I firststarted getting into this it was
like turning on a fire hose, like holy cow.
How did I live this many yearsof my life and not know that
this is all available to me?
And this is how I operate.
If I look around my environment, it truly is a reflection of
what my subconsciousreprogramming is.
(17:05):
Yeah, absolutely.
Speaker 4 (17:07):
Well, and I would
also.
I would also share that ifyou're on the journey and you're
sitting there going, I knowexactly what I need to do, but
I'm just not doing it.
Or I know exactly what I want, but I'm not going after it, I'm
stuck.
I don't know why.
It's because of this, and thisis what can help you out of it.
Right, it's because yoursubconscious has an old,
limiting belief that you mightnot even know is there, because
(17:29):
it happened in your youth orsome part on your journey.
And so you have thisopportunity now to say wait a
second, I'm going to choose toget out of this stuck.
I'm going to choose to actuallydo what I know I need to do,
and the way I'm going to supportmyself in getting those new
results and new outcomes is touse subconscious reprogramming.
So if you're wondering, is thiseven for me?
I don't need faster, bigger,better results.
We would challenge you and say, well, I'm going to do this.
Why don't you go ahead and lookaround you and say, well, is
this everything I want?
(17:50):
Is there anything new ordifferent that I'm looking for
in my life?
Because we guarantee you, ifthis is something that you're
wanting, if you want somethingdifferent.
This is the way to get there, yep, and we're going to share
more in the next couple ofepisodes this week.
So stick with us, because wecan't wait to tell you even more
about reprogramming yoursubconscious to harness the
power within.
So good, so good.
All right, on that note, we'llsee you next week for another
(18:12):
great episode.
Speaker 2 (18:13):
Like I said, we are
going to be back with a new
episode, thank you, becausethere are so many facets that
(18:37):
are included and you are goingto see some incredible changes
in accelerating and rewritingyour stories and rewiring your
brain.

You ready what's inside of yourbody that works when you're

Speaker 1 (21:19):
Fix your body.
Speaker 2 (21:21):
And what do they do
to fix your body?
Speaker 1 (21:26):
Heal them, heal my
body.
Speaker 2 (21:29):
They heal your body.
Heal my body, good one.
So the little workers heal yourbody.
Very cool, and what issomething that we say every
