Speaker 1 (00:00):
92% of people don't
achieve their goals.
Let's make sure that you'repart of the 8% who does.
Speaker 2 (00:09):
Welcome to the
Paradigm you Podcast.
Speaker 3 (00:17):
Welcome to the
Paradigm you Podcast.
We want to ring the bell withyou on this new year.
At least do it one more timefor me, come on.
Oh right, happy 24-24.
When she said she wanted toring the new year in with
everybody, I thought she wasjoking, no, and then she came.
(00:38):
She came, she showed up today.
Sure did I love it.
Well, we are here in the newyear and we are just so flippin'
excited to start this new yearwith you.
As we said in the last podcastlast year, back in 2023, you
know, way back then yes, we saidwe believe that 2024 is going
(01:03):
to be the year of action andthat starts today.
My friends, right now, let's goLease.
What do you think about 2024?
Let's talk about goals.
You know I love a good goalsconversation.
Speaker 1 (01:16):
Yeah for sure except
that all the goal setting that's
being promoted and talked about, we're doing it all wrong, and
so I'm excited that we're goingto bring this conversation for
all of our listeners so thatthis year you're going to
actually crush your goals.
So excited, right, it seems sosimple, but you know, the first
(01:39):
week of January, 23% of NewYear's resolutions out the
window.
In the first week, First week,23% no longer exists.
Speaker 3 (01:52):
That's almost a
quarter.
Speaker 1 (01:53):
I know, and by the
end of January it's 43%.
Wow, yes.
So we want you to not be partof any of those statistics.
In fact, what we want for you,if you want it for you, is to
join us in being part of the 8%of people that actually stick
with their goals for the year 8%.
Speaker 3 (02:16):
Did I hear that
correctly?
Did you just say only 8% makeit through the whole year with
their goals?
Speaker 1 (02:22):
8% of people are yes,
who achieved their goals in the
year.
92% do not.
Speaker 3 (02:29):
Wow, and you know
what?
Okay, I just have to ask ourlisteners.
All right, my friends, ifyou're listening to this and
you're as shocked as I am bythose statistics I mean, I knew
that they were close to that, but I didn't realize that they
were that extreme I would liketo ask you what do you think
about that?
Do you believe it and where doyou fit?
(02:49):
Yeah, Right.
Speaker 1 (02:52):
And so if you've been
doing goal-setting and all the
planning and all the prep foryour life goals or business the
same exact way, you've alwaysdone them, we know you're going
to get the same exact result andwe want something different for
you, because we know you wantsomething different for you.
That's why we're all heretogether on the podcast, so we'd
like to invite you and ask youhave you asked yourself a few
(03:15):
questions?
Oh, lisa, what questions Tellme?
Yes, two simple questions,right?
The first is what goals did youachieve for yourself or your
business last year and why?
What goals did you not achievefor yourself or your business
last year and why?
We want you to really reflecton these because in two weeks,
(03:37):
we're going to be coming backand we are going to be sharing
with you more about whytraditional goal-setting isn't
going to work and, mostimportantly, how you can
actually do goal-setting thatwill stick for the lifetime that
you want, that habit.
Speaker 2 (03:53):
I'm so excited.
Speaker 3 (03:56):
I am so excited.
Oh gosh, you start talkingabout goals.
I salivate anyways, I'm a goalsjunkie.
Yes, you are.
I love that about you, by theway.
I'll claim that one.
I think you know what.
I think I need a t-shirt thatsays that I like it.
I'm buying one.
Oh man, I will wear that onewith pride.
But I think that you're spot on.
(04:19):
I think that you know thosestatistics are.
We're even half right.
Yes, that means that mostpeople are going about
goal-setting all wrong, but thestatistics are proof that the
way people have been doing goalsall along is just not working.
Yeah, I'm so excited that we'vetruly kind of uncovered some of
(04:45):
the areas that we can be ofservice to our listeners to show
you how to actually do goals.
That stick.
Speaker 1 (04:52):
You know it's so
exciting, it's so I'm just.
I equally want to tell thelisteners.
Am I allowed to tell them aboutthe podcast?
Speaker 3 (05:00):
Yes, yes, you can
totally tell, yes.
Speaker 1 (05:03):
Okay, awesome.
On this same level of goalsetting, april and I have
completely revised our visionfor the business moving forward
and to honor our partnership, our white space, our goals, and
to be an integrity with all ofthat, we are intentionally going
(05:23):
to be moving to an every otherweek podcast schedule.
This will be so great for eachand every one of you because we
are going to be bringing moredepth and more content and,
equally, giving you the time andthe space in between our
podcasts to implement whatyou're learning, to apply it to
(05:44):
your life and your business.
Speaker 3 (05:46):
Yeah, we don't want
any of the surface level.
I listened to it and then, twodays later, I've forgotten what
they said, because that's notwhy we do this podcast.
We do this podcast to createexpansion in your life.
We do this podcast so that wecan guide you in the areas of
topics of life and createexpansion in your paradigms so
(06:10):
that you can step into whateverthat next level of life is for
you.
Yeah, that means that we alsoknow we've seen proof on it.
We actually just talked aboutthis back in 2023, at the end of
the year, when we werereflecting on our own
partnership that when you createspace, you allow things to set
(06:33):
in, they really do sink inbetter and that they stick
longer.
We've decided to move the modelof this podcast to every two
weeks.
We have a model that is goingto ask you some important
questions that we'd like you tostew on when we're not in your
ear, lisa.
What is the question and whatdo we want people to be thinking
(06:57):
about over the next two weeks?
Because two weeks from now, myfriends, buckle up, come with
your pen and paper because thatpodcast, oh my gosh.
We really do believe that you,and most of the majority.
I guess I can't speak to youindividually, but the majority
of people are doing goals allwrong.
What do we need to do to beprepared for our podcast two
(07:18):
weeks from now, Lisa.
Speaker 1 (07:19):
Yeah, what a great
question.
Again, we want you to reflecton these questions, which is
simply what goals did youachieve last year and why?
What goals did you not achievelast year and why?
No judgment, no shame.
Let's just look at the data.
Let's just clear on what didand didn't happen, whether
that's your business, your lifegoals.
(07:39):
Again, bring it all.
When we talk next, youdefinitely are going to want
your pen and paper ready, asApril's already indicated,
because we are going to breakdown some things that we know is
going to really support you inachieving everything you want
this year, and actually so muchmore.
That's what's super exciting.
Bring it all.
(08:00):
Let's make sure that you'repart of the 8 percent that
really reaches their goals thisyear.
Speaker 3 (08:07):
Lisa, would it be
crazy cool if we actually impact
that statistic.
That might be a?
That's a huge KPI.
Yeah, I just totally set mysights on that one, because,
gosh, you know when people canactually stick with their goals
and they identify those goalsthat are going to make an impact
(08:29):
, and then we're having theripple effect.
You guys, this is reallyexciting stuff.
So here's the other thing thatI would like to request.
I know, lisa, you gaveeverybody some questions that
you want them to reflect on.
Here's my request to you, listeners If you notice anybody
over the next two weeks that aredropping off other goals this
(08:51):
is all out of love I want you toreach out to them and I want
you to extend an invitation tojoin us on our next podcast.
Maybe it's just a link that sayshey, friend, I would love for
you to listen to this with me,because I'm going to be working
on my goals and I'd love for youto do this too.
But, boy, if you can love up onsomebody, if you see them
dropping off their goals, thatquickly invite them, because
(09:14):
they need to hear this.
Oh gosh, it just my heart islike excited for them, because
this can change the lives of alot of people and we would love
for you to extend thatinvitation to them and love up
on anybody you see who'sdropping off.
What was it?
23% the first week, first weekyes, that's insane.
(09:35):
So 23% of the people around youin your life.
I want you to invite to listento this next podcast, Lisa.
You got anything else to sharewith the people listening other
than ringing in the new year?
Speaker 1 (09:48):
Yeah, I'm excited to
be here with you and excited to
be on the journey of growth foranother year.
Let's do this.
Where's the bell?
Speaker 3 (09:57):

the bell.
