Thomas Edward Luther had a troubled background that led to a series of brutal crimes in Colorado during the 1980s and 1990s. Luther targeted vulnerable women, including hitchhikers, whom he viciously assaulted and murdered. Despite multiple convictions, his violent actions left a haunting legacy, with his most notorious crime being the murder of Cher Elder.
