Join us as we unravel the spine-chilling story of Ricky Casso, dubbed the "Acid King," whose actions fueled the Satanic Panic that gripped America. From his troubled adolescence to his creation of the notorious "Knights of the Black Circle," we explore how Casso's hard rock inspirations and drug-fueled lifestyle spiraled into acts that left a mark of horror in Northport, New York. This episode uncovers the dark underpinnings of a group that merged cult-like behavior with a deadly obsession, setting the stage for an era defined by hysteria and fear.

The narrative intensifies with the gruesome murder of Gary, an event shrouded in chaos and psychedelic confusion. Hear about the perplexing aftermath, where conflicting testimonies and surreal memories muddied the waters of justice, climaxing with Ricky's own tragic end in jail. Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hey, I think so.
Oh sure, it's going to be thenew thing.
We're going to build this up.
Yeah, what are we talking abouttoday?
Bianca Acid.

Speaker 1 (00:28):
Acid, as in drugs, or acid-acid.

Speaker 2 (00:33):
Acid as in drugs.
In relations to Ricky Casso.

Speaker 1 (00:40):
Who's that?
The creator Sponsor.

Speaker 2 (00:43):
Is the acid king.

Speaker 1 (00:45):
Oh.

Speaker 2 (00:46):
So recently we talked about our new category, the
Satanic Panic.

Speaker 1 (00:50):
Right.

Speaker 2 (00:52):
This is one of those guys that really set people into
a tailspin, and so we're goingto be talking about why.

Speaker 1 (01:00):
He was setting acid to Jehovah's Witnesses.
What the fuck was going on.
So this guy is a murderer Ofwhat Jehovah's Witnesses what
the fuck was going on.
So this guy is a murderer Ofwhat Jehovah's Witnesses?

Speaker 2 (01:09):
No, oh, we're going to get into all of that.

Speaker 1 (01:11):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:11):
So, like I said in, or like we talked about in our
opening Satanic Panic episode, some of these things are
ridiculous.
Right, we talked about cartoonsand monster energy drinks I
mean on the cartoon part.
I kind of understand now itfelt a little weird yeah but

(01:35):
this was one of those ones thatI could kind of see where people
were concerned.
Okay, and so we're talkingabout ricky casso.
He's actually junior, but younever really hear the junior
part coming in in the story, andso this kid was just a bad seed
, right.

Speaker 1 (01:54):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (01:55):
He did listen to, like ACDC and Black Sabbath,
judas Priest, ozzy Osbourne, etc.

Speaker 1 (02:04):
Did he dance to Thunderstruck?
I'm pretty sure like the dallascheerleader, so a lot of the.

Speaker 2 (02:13):
If he's a fan, he should be a full way fan yeah,
you would think right, this isway back before the cheerleaders
yeah, well, I mean, they werearound, they're around this this
guy murdered in around in the1980s, early 1980s you know we
should do a video on the dallascowboys cheerleaders I agree

(02:33):
with you.
I really just haven't figuredout an angle yet I think it's a
cult that's a good angle that'sthe only angle I like that okay.
So we're talking about this guy, right, and so when you talk
about satanist right, satanistsoften read the book of satan

(02:55):
right or follow some kind ofcult or whatever.
This guy was mostly intriguedby hard rock bands or heavy
metal bands which in some theydo mention the devil a lot but
it's not really a scholarlything no, it's imagine being

(03:16):
religious because you liketaylor swift.
To me that seems weird, rightlike people that are religious
usually go to church and theyget a bible and they learn
catholic school whatever theypractice, they practice this guy
is a satanist because helistens to ozzy osbourne.
I've listened to ozzy osbourne, like that doesn't yeah, it

(03:36):
doesn't make you it's like itdoesn't check out to me, but
that's how this guy is intothunderstruck.

Speaker 1 (03:41):
Maybe that's wow.
I think it's part of theIlluminati too.

Speaker 2 (03:46):
Maybe, maybe.
It's all tied together, so thisguy's listening to this hard
rock music.

Speaker 1 (03:52):
So I got to stop listening to Thunderstruck.

Speaker 2 (03:56):
I don't think it has the power.
This guy thought it did Right.
So, anyway, this kid's a badkid.
He's plays football, but hehates it right?
His dad's like really trying topush him into sports and be you
know how dads are right.

Speaker 1 (04:11):
A religious kid?
No, I'm sorry.

Speaker 2 (04:12):
A sporty kid.
A sporty kid right.
He's like the sporty spice ofthe group.

Speaker 1 (04:17):
The dad wants to be screaming at him for something.
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (04:22):
Meanwhile this kid starts getting into drugs, and
so he starts doing pot, hestarts doing acid.

Speaker 1 (04:31):
He goes through the process of experiencing.

Speaker 2 (04:33):
Right and he's doing PCP, etc.

Speaker 1 (04:36):
Right.

Speaker 2 (04:38):
So he starts calling himself the acid king.
So he starts selling acidhimself the acid king.
So he starts selling acid andhe has a reputation in town of
selling acid for the cheapestprice of anybody.
Okay, and by the way, just soyou know where this is, this is
out on.
I think it's on long island innew york, right okay um, north

(05:00):
port, new york, north port, newyork.
So it's on, it's on the islandout there and so, like I said,
this kid's into these heavymetal bands.
He's dealing and taking drugs.
He does a lot of pcp, whichI've never done pcp, but the
people that I do know that havetaken it, they like almost

(05:25):
always like it's such a badexperience for them, right, that
they like clean up their actbecause it's not a fun trip.
From what I know, I don't know,right, but what you've heard
what I've heard is that likepeople will be tripping for like
three days straight, oh shit, and it's just like that's too
much.
Like bring it back, give meback the pot, give me back right

(05:49):
a little too much yeah we gotlives to live.

Speaker 1 (05:51):
Right, we can't be high for three days that's I
mean you're you're not gonna getoff three days out of the week
I could do it.

Speaker 2 (06:04):
I could do it being a tiktoker.
Yeah, I get it, getting, getting my job, I could do it
yeah, yeah so anyway.

Speaker 1 (06:09):
So this guy starts getting like his little click
together, right yeah, and theystart calling themselves the
knights of the black circle theknights knights, yeah, of the
black circle like knights as inlike fighters, like armor, okay,
yeah, so dark circle startingto be a little cultish, right

(06:32):
and so not to sound like a bitchor nothing, it sounds like a
kkk yeah, so yeah, I guessbecause the knights part does
kind of the only thing is theBlacks.

Speaker 2 (06:46):
I don't think the KKK would do anything with Black.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
But if they're in a circle.

Speaker 2 (06:50):
Yeah, it's true.

Speaker 1 (06:52):
I mean who came up with the name?

Speaker 2 (06:56):
Yeah, he came up with all this they were talking to
his friends.

Speaker 1 (06:58):
They were like where are the Knights of the Black
Circle?

Speaker 2 (07:00):
Yeah, so this is.
I know that I'm going to soundhomophobic in saying this, but
Knights of the Black Circlesounds like a group of gay guys,
so that wouldn't have been aname I would have picked, but I
don't mean it to be hateful.

(07:21):
Knights of the Dark Circle theseare guys that like a certain
kind of sex.
Let's just say that, right.
Anyway, I don't know if that'swhat this was.
I don't even know it to me.
I'm with you.
This isn't a great name, right?
I would have come up withsomething way scarier than that
for sure, right for sure circleto me is not really that.

Speaker 1 (07:43):
Scary knights seems a little old-fashioned too yeah,
sounds like a little princessyyeah, right, right, right, like
these guys are gonna go like ifthey read fucking I don't know
which one is it.

Speaker 2 (07:58):
It seems like a little Shrek-y to me right.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Right, right right.

Speaker 2 (08:01):
It's like knights, camelot.
None of that's scary to me.
We're killing an ogre or someshit like that.
Right, right, these guys aregoing to go fight a dragon, I
don't know.
Right, it sounds dumb.
I wouldn't have used knights.
What would I have used?
I would have used.

Speaker 1 (08:17):
I don't know.

Speaker 2 (08:18):
Soldiers.

Speaker 1 (08:20):
No, I don't know that doesn't ring.
Nothing works with the darkcircle.

Speaker 2 (08:26):
You can't use dark circle.
If you say dark circle insteadof black circle, you sound like
you have bags under your eyes, right.

Speaker 1 (08:37):
That's not good either.
That's what I'm saying.
It doesn't.
Why couldn't they just call it?

Speaker 2 (08:41):
I don't know, but you can't do it any other way
either.
Right, because you can't saythe black triangles, because
that sounds, that sounds sexualtoo right, you can't do that
either.
This is just about nights ofthe moon that's not bad, but
moon is a butt, so it stillsounds sexual and you really

(09:04):
can't go anywhere.
I don't know if I'm just inthis mindset right now, but
everything I'm thinking of issounding sexual, because I was
like you know dark holes.
Everything sounds bad.

Speaker 1 (09:16):
Even cowboys are the holes Cowboys.

Speaker 2 (09:23):
Now, that's something that doesn't sound gay at all,
right, cowboys?
What?

Speaker 1 (09:27):
about astros of the dark circle.

Speaker 2 (09:30):
That would make more sense, right astros of the dark
circle I don't know you know,it's really weird because I feel
like we've come up with goodnames for our podcast and other
things but, cults we're not goodat we're learning this about
ourselves.
We're not good at coming upwith the cult.

(09:52):
What?

Speaker 1 (09:53):
about minions of the dark of the minions black circle
of the.

Speaker 2 (09:57):
I think you got to get away from the black circle
because that's that's the part Ican't.
You got to get away from theblack circle because that's
that's the part I can't.
I don't know what about.
Instead of black circle I woulduse like white evil soul pink
circle bleach.
The hairless circle there's nocircle doesn't work on any level

(10:24):
.
Right Circle doesn't work, it'sgot to be.

Speaker 1 (10:29):
I don't know, I don't know.
Okay, we're going to move on,because this is.

Speaker 2 (10:36):
We're getting into a deep hole here.

Speaker 1 (10:39):
Deep, deep dark circle.

Speaker 2 (10:42):
Yeah, yeah, I got to stop deep hole here deep, deep
dark.
Yeah, yeah, I gotta stop, inthe middle of all of this right
where he comes up with his cultname, right however, they got it
yeah, he's.
He's dealing all these drugsright, and taking the drugs too
right, sure, and so they go outto well.

(11:03):
Before, before I get to themurder part, he gets arrested
because he's digging up a gravein like a historical cemetery
okay because he just wants theskull to the one here in brazil
well, this one's in long Island.
It's close, right, you're close, but he ends up getting arrested

(11:23):
for trying to steal a skullfrom this historical cemetery.

Speaker 1 (11:28):
Did he have a reason?

Speaker 2 (11:29):
He wanted to do something with the skull.
It doesn't say here and theydidn't really get into it.

Speaker 1 (11:35):
What put it in the dark circle?

Speaker 2 (11:37):
Maybe Sounds right.

Speaker 1 (11:40):
And the knights around it.

Speaker 2 (11:41):
Yeah, makes me wonder what the knights around it yeah
, makes me wonder what theknights were doing at night
could also be bad, right?
So at this time he gets sick, right, he gets arrested, but
then he gets sick and hisparents are kind of trying to
get him to be sent to a mentalhospital.

(12:02):
Okay, right, because he'salready starting to do a bunch
of weird stuff.

Speaker 1 (12:06):
Yeah, I mean once you go to the cemetery and start
digging up a grave and trying toget a skull it's not normal
behavior, yeah right I'd saylike, hey, draw a line, not a
circle right.

Speaker 2 (12:16):
So when they go to, when they go to the doctor, yeah
, he ends up saying, well, thisguy's not crazy, like, he's just
a normal kid, right, andthey're like I don't know about
that, right.

Speaker 1 (12:28):
And who evaluated him ?

Speaker 2 (12:30):
it doesn't say the doctor's name here is he?

Speaker 1 (12:34):
we gotta find that out.
Is he certified he's out hereletting people out like no,
you're okay yeah anyways.

Speaker 2 (12:41):
So I think, at one point he does get put away for a
little while, and the doctor'slike, oh yeah, that's what's
wrong with him but then thedoctor is convinced like he
tricks the doctors into thinkinglike he's he's gonna be good
from now on, right it's like Iwon't do it again.

Speaker 1 (12:57):
Guys, this is a.

Speaker 2 (13:00):
I promise I won't be stealing no more stuff.

Speaker 1 (13:02):
You didn't see that I was playing.

Speaker 2 (13:03):
Yeah, I just wanted to see if I was going to get
caught, right.

Speaker 1 (13:08):
I just wanted to see if you were snitch.

Speaker 2 (13:10):
Right, because I wanted to see if your friends
would tattle on me.

Speaker 1 (13:14):
I just wanted to see how good of a doctor you were.

Speaker 2 (13:17):
Right right right.
So after all of this, he's outwith his friends.
They go out in the woods right.

Speaker 1 (13:26):
To do what Him and the knights yeah, they're going
to go.

Speaker 2 (13:29):
The knights are going to go out into the woods and
they're horses, and they'regoing to and there's horses.
Oh man, I wish this guy wasalive for you to laugh at him so
what do you guys got theirarmor ready yeah, come on, guys,
let's go get the horses sothey're partying, right, these

(13:51):
guys are partying.
And this guy his name is rick, right, we talked about this.
He passes out and one of hisfriends whose name's gary okay
steals 10 packs little baggiesof pcp.
And when the guy wakes up, theytell his other friends, tell

(14:16):
him hey, this guy stole yourdrugs.
They didn't stop him, and sothe guy gets he didn't hear the
armor moving around.
So the guy gets mad, right, right he goes and he tells the
guy hey, man, you got to give memy drugs back or you got to buy
them from me.
And the guy's like I didn't doit Right.
So he beats him up.

(14:37):
Really bad.
And the guy goes OK, I stolestole your drugs, but I only
have five of the 10 bags left.
Oh shit, right, right, becauseI guess he took the other five
and he's like I'll borrow somemoney to pay you back.
Guess how much money, guess howmuch money, just guess how much
money.
Five bags back in the 80s,right, we're talking about 1984

(15:02):
and the crack was popping right, this is pcp five bags of pcp.
He's gonna have to borrow themoney.
Think about how much money doyou think this is worth?

Speaker 1 (15:15):
five bags.
Yeah, how many grams?

Speaker 2 (15:20):
so it doesn't say how many grams.
It just purple micro dots, Iguess, is what they're talking
about man, what the fuck is that?

Speaker 1 (15:27):
I don't know what any of this okay five bags just a
random number, I'll put it at800 okay I'm putting a deal for
a wholesale like five packs onthe spot.

Speaker 2 (15:39):
You know a little bit high.
A little bit high.

Speaker 1 (15:44):
It's fifty dollars, right, fifty dollars the guy
owes so I'm just saying I wasborn in the 2000.
Inflation has gotten pretty badit's bad.

Speaker 2 (15:55):
We used to buy five bags of drugs for fifty dollars,
and now, how much are they?
I don't know.
I don't know how much they areI don't know but I'm sure our
fans know they can let us knowin the comments, right?

Speaker 1 (16:08):
tell us how much per gram and how much details how
much would I get for five bagsof pcp?
But that's the thing.
How big were the bags?

Speaker 2 (16:15):
it didn't say just as five bags, I think.
I think that's a measurement 10PCP bags.

Speaker 1 (16:22):
Let me look it up 10 PCP bags, so five right.

Speaker 2 (16:29):
Because he gave five bags, so he owes five.
So this guy just keeps beatinghis friend up, right, he keeps
beating up Gary, and so at onepoint they decide they're going
to go back out camping again, right.
And this time it's colder,right.
And they start running out oflike wood to put in the fire

(16:51):
right so this guy rick ricky,he's like let's throw your
jacket in there.
The guy's like no man, come on,no man, you know how?

Speaker 1 (17:01):
guys are right, no man right and he's like no man,
come on.

Speaker 2 (17:02):
No man, you know how guys are right.
No man right.
And he's like I'll cut off mysleeves and you can throw in my
sleeves, right.
All right, let's do that.
And then they go.
You know what?
Let's do your hair.
So the other two guys there'sfour of them.
The other two guys hold himdown.
He pulls, hold him down.

(17:24):
He pulls a knife out of hispocket right and he cuts the
guy's hair and he throws it inthe fire right and he starts
beating the guy up and the guyjust for fun, right, okay.
And the guy gary says man, Ifeel like you're trying to hurt
me, man, like you just want tojust getting off hurting me.

Speaker 1 (17:40):
And the guy says and he jerks off no, not close.

Speaker 2 (17:45):
but he says I don't want to hurt you, man, I want to
kill you.
And when he says that there'ssome crows overhead and they all
go go, go, right Right.
And the guy says to himselfthat that noise means satan is

(18:07):
happy with what he said andwants him to kill this guy.
Oh right, of course, I guess Imean, you're the bird expert.

Speaker 1 (18:14):
I don't know so.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
To me that's not what it means, but this guy believes
it so much that he ends upkilling this guy, killing gary
right right and so rememberyou're the bird expert, but here
he's, the murder whisper rightI would say I don't talk to

(18:36):
birds you know about birds Iknow birds.
I know a lot of birds.
I'm friends with birds.

Speaker 1 (18:43):
Did you talk with the crows that were around at that
time?

Speaker 2 (18:46):
I don't talk to these crows and, by the way, these
birds we don't have them here,so I'm not really familiar.

Speaker 1 (18:54):
Oh, you haven't studied that part Right.

Speaker 2 (18:57):
This is in the New England area, those birds I'm
not as familiar with them, right?
So he starts killing this guy, starts stabbing him with this
little bitty pocket knife, right.

Speaker 1 (19:07):
So that's going to hurt.

Speaker 2 (19:08):
Yeah, and he's stabbing him like in his face
too, right.
Oh shit he gouges out his eyes,oh shit.
He gouges out his eyes, oh fuck.
And he's like stabbing in hisface and in his chest and he
keeps telling the guy say youlove Satan, Say you love Satan.

Speaker 1 (19:22):
How the fuck would he say that if he's the one
killing him?

Speaker 2 (19:25):
So the guy that's killing him is saying say you
love.

Speaker 1 (19:27):
Satan Say you love.

Speaker 2 (19:28):
Satan.
And the guy on the bottom saysI love my mom, I love my mom,
right.
That my mom, I love my mom, right.
That's what he's saying insteadbecause he doesn't want to say
I love satan, right, so ends upkilling him what if his mom is
satan?
It's hard to say stories, stories never really went down.
That maybe specific maybe, andso he ends up killing him to

(19:52):
death, right.

Speaker 1 (19:54):
I mean, I think that's a definition.
Of killing someone.

Speaker 2 (19:59):
He kills him to death , right, right.

Speaker 1 (20:07):
Imagine getting killed just to like.

Speaker 2 (20:11):
To die At the end.
Yeah Right, so he kills thisguy, and so this is the end.
Yeah Right, so he kills thisguy, and so this is the part
that you kind of what that hedied A little bit hard to get
your head around, right.

Speaker 1 (20:23):
Why.

Speaker 2 (20:24):
Because I think the other two guys that were holding
him down.

Speaker 1 (20:28):
They were still holding him.

Speaker 2 (20:29):
Yeah, they held him while he kills him, right.

Speaker 1 (20:31):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (20:35):
I think and we'll go into why I think this later I
think they forgot that theyhelped kill somebody because
they were so high okay, you knowwhat I mean so everybody goes
back to their life, gets back tonormal blah, blah, blah.
Off the trip, they go back home.
Problem number one this kidgary.
By the way, he's only like 17at the time oh, oh shit he's not

(20:59):
a gary's, not an adult, really,right.
So they murder him.
They go back to their lives.
Problem number one is garyoften runs away, right.
So the parents are like, well, well they're fucking ran away
again.
So nobody's looking for him,right?
Well, ricky starts tellingpeople that he killed him.

(21:23):
Oh, and everybody's like youknow what you do?
That Satan stuff, it's all makebelieve.
We don't believe you, right?
The other guys are like I don'tknow if we did, I don't know if
he did, like they're not reallyare like.

Speaker 1 (21:38):
I don't know if we did, I don't know if he did.
Like they're not really clear.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
They don't know, like , what was reality and what
wasn't right, so ricky startstaking people to the woods oh to
show them did he take thedoctor too?
He didn't take the doctor, buthe takes allegedly.
He takes people out there toshow them the dead body.
The first person he shows, thefirst person thinks it's like a

(22:00):
cat or something.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
A cat.

Speaker 2 (22:02):
Yeah, he's like.

Speaker 1 (22:04):
How are you going to confuse a body?

Speaker 2 (22:05):
I'm not 100% sure about that how big of a cat?
Some cats get big, but a couplemore people.
Oh, and then I forgot tomention this part.
A young girl calls the policeand she says there's a big cat
dead on the side.

Speaker 1 (22:23):
She says In the woods .

Speaker 2 (22:24):
Ricky, whatever his last name.

Speaker 1 (22:26):
Casso, casso.

Speaker 2 (22:27):
Killed Gary Lowers and left him in the woods.

Speaker 1 (22:32):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (22:34):
And the policeman goes what's your name?
Click she hangs up.
So then the policeman goesprank call right what?

Speaker 1 (22:46):
would it be a prank if they're saying, like real
names and stuff yeah, he'salready on the record yeah, he,
he already has a record at thispoint I mean yeah, they probably
shouldn't have thought it was aprank.

Speaker 2 (22:59):
And even if it was a prank, they should have probably
double checked, went out therechecked right.
They didn't, so later um peoplestart telling the police.
Ricky told me he killed Gary.

Speaker 1 (23:17):
Right.

Speaker 2 (23:21):
And then he took me and showed me where it is and
they're like are you pranking me?
Yeah, and so then they getthese cadaver dogs and they go
out there and they find the body.

Speaker 1 (23:32):
Right.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
They say that when they grabbed the body and they
picked it up, the head fell offbecause it had been out there so
long.
But it still had the clothes, still had everything like that.

Speaker 1 (23:43):
So how are you going to tell me that they thought
that was a cat?

Speaker 2 (23:47):
So that I don't understand either.
Right, because he's wearinglike an ACDC shirt.

Speaker 1 (23:52):
Right.

Speaker 2 (23:52):
Like I don't know any cats that wear acdc shirts at
all.
Right, so anyway, anyways.
So then they say you know whatthis guy's the main suspect.

Speaker 1 (24:04):
They arrest him oh, maybe because he cut off his
hair.

Speaker 2 (24:07):
That's why they didn't recognize him maybe they
did say that when they went outthere the face was pretty much
gone completely.
Of course he did stab him inthe face a whole bunch of times,
but the short hair and then theshort hair.

Speaker 1 (24:19):
They were like no way .
That's scary, doesn't look likehim.

Speaker 2 (24:21):
Right, and so when they take him to, Gary didn't
have those eyes, yeah.
So they arrest him Right andthey arrest the two friends
Right, right away the twofriends they confess they did it
Right and the other guy, theone that stories about Ricky.

Speaker 1 (24:43):
He's like who is really the other?

Speaker 2 (24:45):
guys, oh Right, and everybody's kind of like, well,
you're the one that's sayingthat you did it.

Speaker 1 (24:51):
You, you, you, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:52):
It's all Spider-Man thing.

Speaker 1 (24:54):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (24:55):
So they arrest him uh-huh funny little thing
happens in jail um what rickykills himself right away man
yeah so he was out here killingpeople and once he one killed.
One person gets caught, killshimself right away I mean, he
got caught like yeah heliterally put it, like right on

(25:15):
the table and so then everybodyknows what's happened and they
kind of retrace the steps andthen so they go back to the
people, the guys who confessed, right, right, and they're like
so tell us again what happened, and they give a completely
different story.
Right, I mean, he's alreadydead, he is dead what is he
gonna say?
I didn't do it yeah, so thenthey go back third time, tell us

(25:39):
again what happened.
It's another, completelydifferent story three different
stories that are completelydifferent.
So there's this quote wherethey asked I think his name is
jimmy um, the one who wassupposedly holding the guy down,
holding Gary down and they askhim why is your story changing
all the time?

(25:59):
Like, like, what's the dealwith that?
And he says when the trees andthe stars are melting, it's hard
to remember what was real, solike they're just tripping balls
out there.

Speaker 1 (26:15):
Yeah Right, and I'm going.
You're going to tell me youwere tripping balls and just
held someone down while theywere screaming.
I love my mom and the other onesaying say you love the devil
right?

Speaker 2 (26:27):
yeah, that's exactly what they said.
This is exactly what they said.
That's exactly what they did,right?
So then, by then.
By the way, this all happenedon July 4th too, so around this
time of year.

Speaker 1 (26:41):
Like a month, yeah, this month, oh we're recording
this.
Keep forgetting.

Speaker 2 (26:49):
I forget, yeah.
So then they take this guy.
The other one, Jimmy, they takehim to trial Because he's the
only one alive.
that was for sure part of thisright right and they try to
charge him with second degreemurder.
Well, when he's on the stand,he's not making any sense

(27:11):
because he doesn't remember this.
He doesn't remember that.
He thinks that there's a lionfrom a circus that escaped in
the woods.
It's just crazy stories, so hegets off.
So nobody went to prison forthis.
Fast forward a few years andthis guy, jimmy.

Speaker 1 (27:34):
So they don't even hold them.

Speaker 2 (27:36):
Nothing happened to any of them.
Well, the one guy killedhimself.

Speaker 1 (27:39):
Right.

Speaker 2 (27:40):
But, like the other guys, got off.

Speaker 1 (27:44):
Fucking.

Speaker 2 (27:45):
Yeah.

Speaker 1 (27:46):
They still held him.

Speaker 2 (27:47):
Yes, they did, but apparently they couldn't really
prove it because they were theirown witnesses, I guess, or
their own.

Speaker 1 (27:59):
their stories were supposed to be used against them
, but their stories didn't makeany sense still hold them,
because why the fuck wouldn'tthey know if they give you a
straight story of I didn't do it?

Speaker 2 (28:08):
okay, which they never did exactly right.
They never denied it right, yeah so yeah, and then I don't
remember, something happenedwith this guy, jimmy, where he
was arrested sometime like inthe early 2000s um, wait this

(28:31):
what yeah, the other guy right, let me see if I can get this
quickly.

Speaker 1 (28:47):
Jimmy.

Speaker 2 (28:49):
Jimmy, um, so the only thing that popped up was um

(29:10):
the original trial, I guess itI guess it was an important case
but it was just one trial anddone yeah man, this sucks so

(29:36):
let's see if I can did he die?

Speaker 1 (29:39):
I'll put some music while you do that so anyway, he
got in trouble again, yeah um,apparently it looks like he's on
instagram but I don't know um.

Speaker 2 (29:55):
But he did.
He got off.
So did his other friend.
Nobody was really sentencedsentence.
I mean, I guess the one guydied right, so that's like one
part but still yeah, and so inour episode that we recorded not
too long ago, the murderer, oralleged murderer, of Vanessa

(30:16):
Guillen also killed himself.
Yeah, it really leaves the girl, the other girl they're
sentencing her so she did getsentenced she got sentenced, I
think 20 or 30 years somethinglike that.
But what I mean is there'ssomething that leaves it like

(30:38):
unfulfilled I guess is the wayto say it Like when the bad guy
kills themselves.

Speaker 1 (30:44):
Yeah and you don't get.
I guess it's more the thing oflike you don't get the real
version of what happened.

Speaker 2 (30:48):
The whole story right .

Speaker 1 (30:50):
Or the details of like, why.

Speaker 2 (30:54):
I feel that way also when they plead guilty.

Speaker 1 (30:57):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (30:57):
And it's like they don't have to say what happened
Nothing else.

Speaker 1 (31:01):
Yeah, it's just like yeah, I did it.
Yeah, and they just go away andI think it's a chismosa in me
that wants to know I mean, Iguess that's part of it, but I
think there's.
There is something closureright, like like they went.
Yeah, why?
I mean, why the fuck would sheeven think of just some stabbing

(31:26):
someone in the face like?
yeah, I mean, this is what Ithink in this particular case,
right, I think I hate peopleright, like there's people I
don't fuck with or don't likethem at all and stuff, but I
don't think of stabbing andstabbing them on the face where
do you think is stabbing them?
Not in the face, I think itwould be too obvious, right?

Speaker 2 (31:51):
Yeah, I don't know if I could bring myself to
stabbing somebody.

Speaker 1 (31:56):
I mean I do carry like a pocket knife, but it's
not like I'm stabbing people outhere.

Speaker 2 (32:02):
Yet care yet.
So, as a person who's been in alot of fights, there is a
situation that happens quiteabit when you're younger and
fighting for the first time Ihave been punched in the face
and the person that hit me likefreezes up like they get scared
that they actually hit someonepunched me in the face.

Speaker 1 (32:26):
And I've also seen it the other way, where I've
punched people and they justfreeze right yeah and you didn't
knock them out right, but theywere like I think that's in
their brain, like they're hoping, like to see something and they
don't see it happen and it'slike wait yeah like what's the
next move, like you don't knowwhat's gonna happen, I don't

(32:47):
know.
That's why I never got infights.

Speaker 2 (32:49):
I think I blacked out a lot so my point is I'm
bringing this up I mean myadrenaline wouldn't go as much
to stabbing someone.
I don't think my point is that, like when, when these people
who've never been in a fightpunch you in the face and they

(33:10):
freeze when you stab somebodyfor the first time, how do you
not freeze there too?
Do you know what I mean?
Like that's so much worse thanpunching somebody.

Speaker 1 (33:21):
Yeah, he for sure had to get something.
I mean, I'm pretty sure it'slike some type of adrenaline
that kicks in this is what Ithink he was high he was high.
Yes, and this is what I thinkbut how come he remembered most
of the?

Speaker 2 (33:37):
maybe he wasn't that high that's what I'm saying.
He, I don't think he wasn't ashigh.
So I think this guy, like inhis like, fantasized about all
this stuff, right, and becauseyou know you're talking about
the Dallas Cowboy cheerleaderslistening to Thunderstruck.
That's the same music thisguy's getting inspired to murder
them.
That music doesn't.

Speaker 1 (33:58):
And the girls are over here shaking pom poms yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:00):
It doesn't do that Right.
That music is not.

Speaker 1 (34:03):
Legs up high and stuff.

Speaker 2 (34:05):
And so he had to put something into that music that
wasn't there.

Speaker 1 (34:10):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:10):
Right, that was something that was inside of him
, not really in the music, right.

Speaker 1 (34:16):
Right.

Speaker 2 (34:21):
And so I don't think it had anything to do with the
music really, like I said, ifthe Dallas Cowboys are listening
to the same music.

Speaker 1 (34:25):
Yeah, they're not over here.
Well, we don't know thatthey're killing body, like
killing someone or stabbing itwasn't in the special right,
right, and they didn't coverthat they didn't cover any.

Speaker 2 (34:38):
Allegedly there's no killing killing from the dallas
cowboy cheerleaders, even thoughthey do listen to ACDC clearly.

Speaker 1 (34:46):
A lot, a lot In practice.

Speaker 2 (34:48):
It's a big deal with them.

Speaker 1 (34:49):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (34:50):
So I think this guy was just evil and he like
created.

Speaker 1 (34:56):
He added that spice into.

Speaker 2 (34:59):
And I do think too, because I His cooking.
Yeah, yeah, I've seen peoplethat enjoy, other people being
scared or other people beinguncomfortable.

Speaker 1 (35:10):
Okay.

Speaker 2 (35:11):
And I think he was just using all this to kind of
fuck with people.

Speaker 1 (35:15):
You know what I mean For sure.

Speaker 2 (35:17):
And so if he was a real serial killer, or really as
evil as he pretended to be, Ithink he wouldn't have killed
himself and I think he wouldhave killed more people.

Speaker 1 (35:29):
For sure he was I think he just panicked, to be
honest, like it was I don't know, I think he knew as a young age
and he didn't.
He didn't do a whole legacy ofyou.
Know how serial killers gothrough?
A whole bunch of Right.
Killing and they get their name, they get their nickname, they

(35:54):
get this.
They get the fame and all thisextra stuff.
This guy kind of did it.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
No, he definitely didn't.
He came up with his ownnickname.

Speaker 1 (36:03):
His own club.

Speaker 2 (36:04):
His own little cult, his silly little cult.

Speaker 1 (36:09):
Other thing one dead body, which was his friend right
, that was high yeah how hard isit to kill somebody?

Speaker 2 (36:14):
that's high.
It's not that hard I don'tthink so I mean if they're
almost passed out right and baldwell, yeah, because they cut
his, and so the other thing thatthis guy he would talk about
like that he was suicidal and hewould think of killing yourself

(36:35):
as being like the next level ofgetting high.
So I think he was kind ofalready programmed like he was
going to kill himself eventually.

Speaker 1 (36:46):
But after one body I mean come on.

Speaker 2 (36:48):
Yeah, it's a little lazy, so let's see how long he
died.
When he was, he was 17 yearsold.
When he died, he was young.

Speaker 1 (37:03):
I don't know, Maybe he didn't want to deal with his
dad telling him like why thefuck would you do that?
Or some shit like that.

Speaker 2 (37:08):
Yeah, well, and also he didn't want to play football
anymore.

Speaker 1 (37:11):
Right, Because that would have been like I told you
to play football instead of beout here doing drugs.

Speaker 2 (37:16):
Murdering people.

Speaker 1 (37:17):
Yeah.

Speaker 2 (37:22):
So I think we can see like this If this happened in
the valley Don't do drugs andpeople would be like this guy's
a Satanist.

Speaker 1 (37:31):
I mean, if you do drugs, stay in your house.

Speaker 2 (37:34):
By yourself.

Speaker 1 (37:34):
Yeah, don't take your friends.

Speaker 2 (37:37):
Don't do drugs.

Speaker 1 (37:38):
Take their hair, take their eyes out.

Speaker 2 (37:41):
Don't do drugs with other people or outside of your
house with other people.
I think that's a less catchyslogan, yeah, but it's more
accurate.
Keep it to yourself, keep it toyourself, keep your hands to
yourself.

Speaker 1 (37:54):
Don't make a club, don't come up with nicknames.

Speaker 2 (37:59):
And definitely don't be doing these homophobic names,
because that's uncalled for.

Speaker 1 (38:05):
Stop listening to Thunderstruck.

Speaker 2 (38:08):
So I could see if this happened in the valley and
he said it was because he wastold by Satan that that would be
scary.

Speaker 1 (38:15):
Yeah, for sure.

Speaker 2 (38:16):
Not like cartoons and soda drinks and things right.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
So I get this one Soda drinks.

Speaker 2 (38:23):
Like monster.
People are scared of monsterdrinks.
Energy drinks Because it's like, oh devil Right.

Speaker 1 (38:29):
I mean how red bull is not devilish?
I don't think it is.
It has wings.

Speaker 2 (38:35):
Yeah, I mean that's close enough, I think.

Speaker 1 (38:38):
What.

Speaker 2 (38:39):
I think so I guess All right.
That's it for today.
