Chapter Two, Part Six: Maiden Voyage

A creeping encounter by the emptied pool below deck has left our three investigators a little bit shaken as they navigate the swaying hallways of the Queen Mary. Allister, Jules and Saint haven’t got their sea legs yet and already they’ve told a few white lies and been set adrift aboard this aging vessel. Now Saint’s been invited to tonight’s proceedings, but that doesn’t mean he’s going to get any straight answers. What secrets does Saint bring to the table from his past? I’d like to take you to Long Beach, California, just as autumn is beginning to fade. The air and ocean are indistinguishably grey and paint a bright canvas against the ocean liners docked in Long Beach Harbor. There are many ships floating here on the peninsula - some are only sleeping until summer, but only the Queen Mary is dead in the water - stationary and rusted. It is decidedly not tourist season.
