Speaker 1 (00:02):
One, two, three, four
.
Speaking of insanity takingplace at Trump rallies, you may
or may not have missed thisvideo of Elon Musk purported
neither right nor left.
Supposedly you know independentmind and independent voters
showing up at a Trump rally, andhe had a blast jumping around
(00:33):
like a weirdo hopping madhopping mad, yes, and referring
to himself as dark MAGA.
That's extraordinarilyunfortunate.
You know, after all of theallegations about the previous
owners of Twitter beingsupposedly in the bag for
Democratic candidates, here weare having Elon Musk out here
(00:53):
literally campaigning for TrumpAfter buying Twitter the irony
is not lost on me Also justlooking like a total fucking
weirdo.
And then Trump looking at himlike a weirdo as well.
It's just weird, a fuckingweirdo.
And then trump looking at himlike a weirdo as well.
It's just weird, um, but so Ithink, in terms of, like elon's
behavior here, clearly not onlyis he in the back of trump, he
must be like in dire straits, because I would imagine, with
(01:15):
the amount of money he's in thehole after you know twitter
losing what 80 of his worthsince he bought it, yep, you
know he must be in some direfinancial straits.
But even in that unfortunatesituation for his bank account,
(01:36):
I would imagine he's still outhere pouring tens, if not
hundreds, of millions of dollarsinto a Trump-aligned PAC which,
it seems, given the fact thathe's the largest contributor to
that PAC and PACs are forbiddenfrom coordinating with the
candidates themselves being outhere on the campaign trail with
the candidate is an FECviolation.
Speaker 4 (01:59):
Yes.
Well, maybe he was verycognizant when he says if Trump
doesn't win, he's going to jail.
I completely believe that, notto mention all of the SEC
investigations that he hasagainst him and for all of the
the trading stuff, like what hedid with the 420 for Tesla.
Speaker 1 (02:17):
Yeah, so the stock
price manipulation, possibly
insider trading and who knowswhat else is being investigated.
Speaker 3 (02:27):
Elon Musk said he's
going to jail if Trump doesn't
win yeah, he said in hisinterview with Tucker.
Speaker 1 (02:32):
So yeah, elon did an
interview with Tucker Carlson.
You know just two weirdosgetting their shit off together.
Speaker 4 (02:39):
Laughing about the
vice president being
assassinated.
You know, just another day.
Speaker 1 (02:43):
Yeah, just another
day, a couple of privileged
white guys laughing about themurder and death of a black
woman.
No big deal there.
Me didn't care about that.
But yeah, in that interview hesaid if Trump doesn't win, he's
fucked.
And you know, I hopefully takehim at his word.
Speaker 4 (03:04):
That's why I'm voting
for Kamala Harris to make sure
Trump loses and Elon is fucked.
Speaker 2 (03:11):
Oh, that in and of
itself alone would be worth it,
even if she was president forjust one day.
Speaker 1 (03:14):
Fair enough, but you
know, speaking of being
president for one day, trump isback to his insinuations that he
will be a dictator on day one,Surprise, surprise.
Speaker 2 (03:28):
So I have to be
careful with this.
I said once, about a month agoyou only have to vote this one
time and after that everythingwill be good.
And the fake news said see, hewants to be a dictator and take
over the country.
No, no, that's not what I said.
We got to fix the country, gotto make sure, and then the
(03:49):
country will be great and we'regoing to have, hopefully, some
great person, whether it's JD orsomebody else.
Speaker 3 (04:05):
And when the great
Sean.
Speaker 1 (04:06):
Hannity asked me a
question and I jokingly said, he
said okay let's get this off.
Speaker 2 (04:11):
You don't want to be
a dictator, do you?
I said, sean, I only want to bea dictator for one day and I'm
going to close the borders anddrill baby drill, but after that
I never want to be a dictator.
Speaker 4 (04:23):
He's going to do all
that in one day.
Speaker 2 (04:25):
Be drilled, but after
that I never want to be a
dictator, he's going to do allthat in one day.
So the fake news took thatanswer and they said Sean, I
want to be a dictator.
So he said Sean, I want to be adictator.
And they go he wants to be adictator.
They cut the rest of it.
These are the worst people.
(04:45):
These are the worst.
They said he's a threat todemocracy, he wants to be a
dictator.
No, you know, the threat todemocracy are when you put
incompetent people in charge ofour country.
Speaker 1 (04:58):
It's all that much.
I never looked in a mirror.
You like the democracy is whenyou put incompetent people in
charge, and we just showed you aclip of Trump reading off the
teleprompter, saying he doesn'tread the teleprompter, no.
So again in terms of Trump'scomments about being a dictator,
he's saying yes, I want to be adictator, but only in terms of
(05:19):
closing the border and drilling.
Sir, that has nothing to dowith being a dictator.
Speaker 4 (05:25):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:25):
You can just say no,
I don't want to be a dictator, I
would just like to manage theborder and produce more oil,
even though under Biden, theUnited States is producing more
oil than it ever has.
Speaker 4 (05:37):
And than anyone else
in the world, even fucking OPEC
countries.
Speaker 3 (05:41):
So that just implies
that he's going not just close
the border but commit extremeviolence?
I mean, weren't we talkingabout his?
You know he's gonna.
He's cool with whatever acts ofviolence and doing so um yeah,
uh, yeah, we're, we're fresh.
Speaker 1 (05:58):
We're fresh off of a
week where trump suggested
basically purge, yeah, and inall likelihood a day of violence
engaged in by Trump supportersor and or law enforcement under
his direction.
Speaker 4 (06:14):
I don't see the
difference yeah, I mean, I'm
sure supporters and the lawenforcement.
Speaker 3 (06:20):
I tuned out a little
bit before because I was reading
about the Madison Square Gardenrally he's supposedly going to
have.
How can he afford MadisonSquare Garden for his Nazi rally
?
Speaker 1 (06:30):
So two things.
I don't know if he necessarilyhas the money to afford a
Madison Square Garden rally, butalso well, considering he's a
Republican in Madison SquareGarden is in New York City, a
city and a state that he'llnever win.
By all means, spend all yourtime campaigning in New York
(06:50):
days before the election Awesome.
Speaker 3 (06:52):
It just would prefer
those people to not all be in
Manhattan.
Speaker 1 (06:56):
No, totally fair.
But I'd rather him be in NewYork setting money on fire and
setting opportunity on fire.
Like the opportunity cost ofthat when he could be in a swing
state like Arizona or Michiganperhaps, or even North Carolina,
like the opportunity cost ofthat is fucking insane.
So, yeah, great, go to New York.
Speaker 4 (07:17):
Then wasn't he in
Coachella today?
Speaker 1 (07:22):
Yeah, he's been.
Why is he in California?
He's not good he's talkingabout he's gonna mount a serious
effort and win california.
Like what is he talking?
Like?
And again, like, if any, if, ifkamala harris was doing this,
this shit, right, like if shewas in, you know, I don't know
south carolina mississippi, miss.
(07:42):
Yeah, if south carolina washolding a rally in South
Carolina, was holding a rally inMississippi and then holding a
rally in Alabama and talkingabout she's going to mount a
serious campaign to win Alabama, like the media would be
lighting her on fire.
But Trump does this weird, stupid shit in the media just
shrugs their shoulders.
It's beyond insane.
But yeah, no.
So yes, back to Trump saying hewants to be a dictator on day
(08:05):
one.
Obviously he actually wants tobe a dictator.
That has nothing to do withdrilling or border security.
You don't need a dictator tomanage either of those.
All you need is Congress topass a bill to help you with the
border.
And again, as we said, biden'sfound a way to get oil
production up in America tolevels we've never seen before.
(08:26):
We've never seen anything likeit.
But Trump is also, in terms ofbeing a dictator, trump has also
made comments here about well, you know, if you are a Kamala
Harris supporter, he's sayingmaybe you might not want to come
out and publicly say thatbecause bad things just might
(08:47):
happen to you.
Speaker 2 (08:49):
Are you?
Is anybody OK?
Is there anybody here that'sgoing to vote for Lyon?
Kamala, Please raise your hand.
Please raise your hand.
Actually, I should say don'traise your hand.
It would be very dangerous.
We don't want to see anybodyget hurt.
Please don't raise your hand.
It would be very dangerous.
We don't want to see anybodyget hurt.
Please don't raise your hand.
Speaker 1 (09:11):
Sounded like a threat
, I mean.
Speaker 3 (09:16):
I don't know that one
was kind of dumb, but it could
be a threat.
Speaker 4 (09:22):
I mean well he said
that Did you see that one, that
video of that MAGA?
And he was saying, if he sawsomeone with Harris because,
like, trump's rally was likelater that evening.
So it was like coming on thebacks of that guy saying if he
saw anybody wearing it, thatthey were going to have a knot
(09:43):
on their head faster than somesome bullshit that this guy was
saying.
And then you add to that thatsheriff that said you know, send
in the names of anybody thathas a hair sign in their yards.
So when you take all of thesethings together, it most
certainly is yeah, it'sstochastic terrorism at its
(10:03):
worst.
Speaker 1 (10:04):
Now you know I'm in
the micro he's talking about.
If you're a Harris supporter atthat rally, maybe don't raise
your hand in support of Harris, but we've also seen him in
numerous rallies instigateviolence.
It's happened multiple times, specifically in his rallies, so
I don't want them coming to thecity near where I am.
Speaker 3 (10:25):
So, I was just
reading about In the 1930s.
Let's see the headline 1930sMichael Benson's Gangsters vs
Nazis Tells you how New Yorkjudge Secretly directed mafia
bosses Meyer, lansky, bugsy, siegel To recruit an army of
Jewish thugs to intimidateanti-Semites.
(10:47):
And they just like were outsidea Nazi rally in New York and
just beat the shit out of themso maybe we can get something
like that going again.
Just you know these peoplecoming in to intimidate New
Yorkers.
Speaker 1 (10:59):
Just watch your
fucking backs and watch your
fronts in fairness, the onlytime in which I find encouraging
mass violence to be acceptableis when it comes to punching
Nazis.
So again.
Speaker 4 (11:15):
I'm down with that.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
Yeah, you're not.
You're never going to catch it.
Look, if there's one thing I'mgoing to be hypocritical about,
it's that violence against NazisTotally fine, you know, maybe
don't engage in anything lifethreatening, but if you want to
hit one in the face, go for it.
But no Trump.
Over the course of these pastfew years I mean over the course
of the entire existence of thepolitical version of Trump he's
(11:40):
done nothing but encourage actsof violence to the point where,
you know, we had pipe bomberssending bombs to his political
opponents January 6th, had hisown mob try to overthrow the
government, kill his vicepresident.
I mean you know.
We had the Trumpers try and runKamala Harris's bus off the
road in Texas.
(12:02):
Just numerous instants ofviolence and Trump is all about
it, except for when the violencehappens to be redirected
towards him by one of his ownfellow Republicans.
That is when he decides to havean issue with instigating
violence.
But again, you know Trump andhis hypocrisy.
(12:22):
Much like his stupidity and hislies, it never ends.
But back to Trump in terms ofwanting to be a dictator.
He's also promised to engage inthe largest instance of mass
deportation in American history.
Speaker 2 (12:39):
Day one, I will seal
the border and stop the migrant
invasion into our country.
I will seal the border and stopthe migrant invasion into our
country.
We will begin the largestdeportation operation in the
history of the United States.
Dwight Eisenhower right now hasthat record.
It's not and, by the way, it'snot something I want to do.
I dread having to do it, but wehave no choice.
(13:01):
What they've done to ourcountry is not even believable,
especially the criminals, thecriminal element that's in our
country and again, all over theworld crime rates are down
because they've taken theircriminals and they've dumped
them into the United States.
And you know what?
I would have been worse thanthem, I would have had it done
even faster.
They've dumped them into theUnited States of America and
(13:22):
that's what we have and it'sdangerous out there we're
getting he hates to do it.
Speaker 3 (13:27):
It sounds an awful
lot like he's really enjoying it
and I love how he goes fromthey're ruining, they're doing
terrible things here, especiallythe criminals.
So people who are not doing anycriminal activity are still
terrible.
It's what?
And you know what he soundslike an abusive husband.
Speaker 4 (13:45):
It's what?
And you know what he soundslike an abusive husband.
He's like I don't like beatingyou, you know Like when they're,
but you do it, you bring it up.
That's exactly how it sounds.
Speaker 1 (13:54):
You make me hit you
and I'm hitting you out of love.
Speaker 4 (13:57):
Yeah, exactly.
Speaker 1 (13:58):
That's what it sounds
like.
It's insane.
And then look, given thecomments he's made about Haitian
immigrants over the course ofthe past month here, immigrants
who are in this country legallythey're not undocumented in any
shape, form or fashion they'regranted, you know, special
immigration status, even overthe course of his own
(14:20):
administration, and he's talkingabout deporting them as well.
So you know his massdeportation scheme.
It has nothing to do with yourlegal status.
He just wants anyone who wasn'tborn here out of the country.
Speaker 4 (14:33):
No, he just wants
anybody, black and brown.
He doesn't care if you wereborn here or not.
Because when he said, whensomeone had brought up like TPS
or something he's like, well, they're not legal as far as I'm
concerned.
Speaker 1 (14:46):
Right, regardless of
their actual status, and that
lets you know like just what afucking massive disaster it
would be to have this dude backin power.
Speaker 3 (14:54):
And there's two main
problems.
Let's just be clear thatthere's both of them.
I always talk about my badfaith and stupidity spectrum and
he's high on both.
Speaker 1 (15:04):
Uh he, you know the
overlap is a circle he under, he
, he understands and doesn'tunderstand.
Speaker 3 (15:11):
so he may well not
know what tps means.
Speaker 1 (15:13):
It's temporary
protective status for the
listeners, but he's no, I meanhe, but he unders, he wants the
consequences of the actions he'staking, whether or not he
understands what his actual jobis and is capable of doing it.
There you go.
(15:33):
Yes, I do know what you'resaying.
He has no idea what the fineprint says, but he still wants
to set everything on fireregardless.
And again, like the dude, istelling you what he's planning
on doing.
I mean, he's quoting Hitler.
He's, you know, talking aboutdeporting somewhere close to 60
million people in America.
Maybe a small percentage ofthose would actually be
(15:55):
undocumented immigrants.
He does not care.
I mean, and this shit would bedevastating to the economy.
I mean, can you?
And just just the cost oftrying to round up that many
people alone would probably costhundreds of billions of dollars
, I would imagine.
And you got to put themsomewhere.
There's.
There's no one flight where youcan just pack 50 million people
(16:15):
on to they would have to go atdetention centers and yes, those
would probably be run bycorporations who got tax breaks
through trump's tax plan.
Speaker 3 (16:27):
does he have a tax
plan?
I assume it involves giving ahuge tax breaks to uh detention,
to to migrant detentionfacilities run by corporations.
Speaker 1 (16:36):
I just made that up,
but you know well, his tax plan
currently is to give a huge taxbreak to people who are already
making millions of dollars ayear millions of dollars a year
and then offset that by raisingtaxes on the poor.
But no, he wouldn't have.
He wouldn't have corporationsrunning these detention camps,
wouldn't have corporationsrunning these detention camps.
He would have his own Trumpbranded detention camp and it
(16:59):
would be subsidized by thegovernment.
Speaker 4 (17:02):
Yeah.
I just imagine that we'll beforced to like.
We'll be down to like onetelevision station and then,
every night, like before the TVsigns off, we'll have to like,
watch him in some kim jong-unstyle thing that he's doing with
(17:22):
the music playing in thebackground.
I don't know, I think it wasron philip kowski showing one of
his rallies and it's like thismusic is getting way more
bizarre.
Speaker 1 (17:33):
Yeah, I usually try
and cut the rallies on, like
after the music starts andbefore you know before the rally
starts, and then you know afterthe rally ends, but before the
music starts back.
It's disgusting, can't, can'tdo it, and it gets weird.
And he does like the thing withthe national anthem, except
it's not the real nationalanthem, it's the january 6th
choir national anthem, which isjust, it's bizarre, it's it's
(17:57):
some cult like shit.
Just the dude is just.
How can you vote for thisperson?
Speaker 3 (18:03):
it's total, fucking
disaster and I think it's it's.
It's too dismissive of how cultlike it is.
By saying cult like and justsaying so, you're saying it's a
cult, it's a cult, it's a cult.
Speaker 1 (18:16):
You're absolutely
right about that.
Speaker 4 (18:18):
It is a cult, just
period.
It's a cult.
Speaker 1 (18:22):
Right.
Well, in terms of you knowTrump engaging in stochastic
terrorism.
He was asked by an interviewthat he was doing with some kind
of right-wing podcast about hisrelationship with Mike Pence,
and it speaks podcast about hisrelationship with Mike Pence and
it speaks for itself.
Speaker 2 (18:39):
What about Mike Pence
?
You got anything from MikePence?
Well, it's a shame because heand I had a very good
relationship.
Hey, Mike Pence.
Speaker 4 (18:50):
Hey Mike Pence, hey
Mike Pence, Hanging out
somewhere.
Speaker 1 (18:55):
He couldn't cross the
line of doing what was right in
my opinion yeah, so thanks tothe kamala harris campaign rapid
response social media team forturning that into a high quality
ad in like 20 seconds, I thinkwe are good.
Speaker 4 (19:11):
They are fast about
the dude that laughed at him
when he said that he was a verytruthful person.
Speaker 1 (19:16):
He laughed, it's a
softball interview.
I was just like rolling, hefucking chuckled.
Speaker 4 (19:27):
He couldn't even hold
it.
He could not keep a straightface with that.
Speaker 3 (19:28):
Yeah, it was so funny
, that guy's going to be one of
the first on the wall when wehave to watch that show you were
talking about.
There's going to be the segmentafter the music where we watch
the traitors.
Speaker 1 (19:40):
We watch the public
hanging.
Speaker 3 (19:42):
The list yes, the
public hangings and Carol for
saying I was a loser these times.
Speaker 1 (19:49):
Well, I'm pretty sure
Trump is highly in favor of a
firing squad.
So we might be short on publichangings, but we're going to see
a lot of people lined upagainst the wall getting
executed.
Speaker 4 (20:00):
See maximum carnage.
He wants to see blood yeah, heabsolutely does.
Speaker 1 (20:08):
I mean, if you're
voting for Trump at this point,
you got to be aware that he'sgoing to go to the most extreme
lengths possible, because he'llbe backed by a Supreme Court who
will be willing to allow him todo whatever he wants,
regardless of how legal itactually is, and he'll have the
power, like in all likelihood,of deputizing state and local
(20:32):
law enforcement in red states todo whatever they want to.
And by the time we're in themiddle of the purge, even if you
were once a Trump supporter, ifby that time you decide this
was too much for you and you tryand stand up against him, he'll
have you executed.
Speaker 4 (20:48):
So we're warning you
in advance in Florida and the
Everglades where they round upthe pythons and shit and it's
like a free hunting day forsnakes Wacking Day it's going to
be.
Speaker 3 (21:01):
Wacking Day.
Speaker 4 (21:04):
It's going to be all
kinds of shit.
Speaker 1 (21:05):
You've been watching
the Simpsons, huh.
Speaker 3 (21:08):
No, I've been
thinking about Wacking Day with
the directive to squishlanternflies and like people get
like really do you havelanternflies near where you are
Of?
Speaker 1 (21:17):
course there's just
like a directive to squish them.
Speaker 3 (21:22):
Anyway, everyone gets
all into it.
They're like yeah, get it.
Speaker 1 (21:24):
Oh, you got it.
Speaker 3 (21:25):
And I'm like, oh,
we're all revering smushing
these cute little bugs.
I don't want to be smushed.
Speaker 4 (21:31):
Carol.
I don't want to be smushed.
Speaker 1 (21:38):
Well, as you were
saying ty uh to all the snakes
out there willing to vote fortrump, he's going to be the one
to tread on you in the long run.
Um, and as per usual, uh I'msorry I ruined that joke.
It would have been good had itbeen made timely, that's okay, I
had it locked and loaded, butit's totally fine for you to
jump in there with your terriblejokes, carol, that's, that's
what we have, totally fine foryou to jump in there with your
(21:59):
terrible jokes, Carol.
Speaker 3 (22:00):
That's what we have
you on for.
This is why we don't have ascript.
Terrible.
Speaker 1 (22:04):
You guys finish
without me, but no, before we go
Carol, where are we at KamalaHarris campaign?
Vibe check less than a monthbefore the election Go campaign
vibe check less than a monthbefore the election go.
Speaker 3 (22:19):
I mean, I I can't
even enter, entertain a trump
win as a possibility right now,and I don't know if that's just
my mind rejecting thispossibility because, um, as we
were just alluding to, a votefor trump is a vote for the
firing squad for people like us,um, dissidents.
(22:42):
Anyway, I was supposed to betalking about my positive
feelings about hey no harriscampaign.
They are doing a fucking awesomejob.
I I'm super impressed with herin terms of like presentation
and content.
They're I'm impressed, I'mhopeful.
(23:04):
We have a month to.
We have one more month to getthis home and I think we can do
it.
Get your shit together.
Oh, and don't fall for thesefucking doom narratives on
Twitter, because it's not goingto help us.
Speaker 1 (23:20):
Just yeah, push
forward all right, bob checks
how you feeling what we doingdoing great.
Speaker 4 (23:30):
I'm liking the way
that she's kind of going all in
in this last stretch, her andwalls doing these dual rallies,
and walls has been doing great.
He's gotten a little bit moreaggressive.
Speaker 1 (23:42):
I think he realized
he was a little too nice at the
debate so he's kind of come outswinging a little bit and he's
you say that, but I think thatwas actually part of the game
plan to make vance look likeeven more of a lunatic I mean
just to appeal to people who arelike you know I'm tired of the
fighting on both sides thepeople who are like the half a
percent of voters who haven'tmade up their mind yet.
(24:03):
Anyway, sorry Well.
Speaker 4 (24:04):
I do like how he does
seem to be taking a bit more of
an aggressive stance and heseems to kind of have a little
bit more fire in his belly withsome of the shots that he's
throwing, you know, at Vance andat Trump, and I think that's
hitting home.
I think that's with peoplebecause they're like this nice
guy's been kind of pushed to thebrink.
(24:26):
You know that they're like,yeah, he's, he's bringing that
out in him.
Kamala Harris Kamala's style isa little bit different but it
works.
And her appealing to theyounger demographic, I think
that she's giving them hope.
And I mean, look at Fox.
Fox is considered the numberone cable news station and they
(24:48):
get like four million viewers.
Call Her Daddy has 10 million.
All the smoke has that blackmale demographic that I think
that she needs to reach.
Um, and then, like I said, justkind of diversifying the
podcast and the shows that she'sbeen going on.
You know the stephen colbertcrowd is this more kind of the
snarky witty like kind of youknow, are um looking for?
(25:11):
Looking for that then?
you know, on the view, gettingthose suburban moms that are
watching the view.
You know 10 a 10 AM in themorning and stuff.
I think it's been well played,it's well-rounded.
I have a lot of faith in inHarris and that's what scares
(25:32):
the right, because they see shehas gangbusters, what she's
raised in just three months, andthey're trying to to denigrate
her.
It's like she didn't get onevote, no bitch, but she got a
billion dollars.
So shut the fuck up, okay, because that like I'm sorry,
like that's not that's notflying, because if that was the
case, she would have crashed andburned within a week of them,
(25:57):
knowing that she was going to bethe candidate, but people
flocked to her.
So they're trying to makepeople who may be, quote,
unquote, undecided though Idon't think that's a real thing
but to shake their faith andthat she has the support thing.
But to to shake their faith andthat she has the support, yeah,
you know, I think, because theydon't really have any other
(26:17):
choice and they haven'tsucceeded in making people hate
her.
2020 was not 2024.
She's come a long way.
She has really met the momentand I think when people realized
that that that feeling theywere feeling was actual hope,
they were like screw it, I'mgoing all in on this.
(26:37):
I I want more of this feelingafter coming out of their fever
dream yeah, so well first.
Speaker 3 (26:44):
So the undecided
voter thing throw in really
quick that trump has had eightyears and never met the moment.
Speaker 1 (26:51):
Go on, that's true,
yeah, and then, like him drawing
the hair, the, the hair camewith a Sharpie.
That was the day he becamepresidential.
No, so undecided?
Yeah, so undecided voters itactually is a thing, but not the
way typically that, like themedia tries to portray it, or
(27:13):
what you see in these polls, like you know, you see the
undecided voter and it'swhatever percentage, and you're
like wait, how is it possiblethat, in a world where you're
two options in terms of acandidate that you're voting for
, or Donald Trump and KamalaHarris and we know everything we
know about Trump how is itpossible that you're undecided,
that you don't know which one ofthose candidates you're going
(27:34):
to vote for?
Well, that's not actually thequestion.
The question is are you goingto vote for a candidate or are
you not going to vote at all?
Speaker 4 (27:43):
And those people do
exist, that's fair.
Speaker 1 (27:47):
Yeah, so you have, in
terms of, you know,
disillusioned Republicans whosee what the Republican Party
has become, but they don't wantto vote for a Democrat.
But they're looking at Trumpand they don't know if they can
hold their nose and vote for himyet again, so they're deciding
whether or not they're going tostay home next month.
(28:07):
In terms in like, on the flipside, you have millions of
people who look at Trump andthey're never going to vote for
Trump in their life, never goingto vote for Republican.
But they were looking at Biden,or now they're currently
looking at Harris and they'relike, well, I don't know about
the specifics of her campaign orher policy platform or, you
(28:27):
know, I don't know enough abouther to know whether or not I'm
going to pull the trigger onvoting for her in November, but
they're never going to vote forTrump.
So, like, in terms of undecidedthat's that's really what we're
talking about here.
Can the candidates turn outthose who won't vote for the
other one under anycircumstances, but considering
(28:50):
voting for them?
That that could possibly be thedifference.
But in terms of like, generallyspeaking, where the campaign is
, you know the polls are giving.
If you at least cut out thepolls that are cooked in terms
of favoring Republicans to makethe averages look more friendly.
The polls for Harris, in termsof, like the swing states, she's
(29:12):
got a slight lead.
I mean it's usually rightwithin the margin for error, if
not right above.
So I mean that's a good start.
But in terms of where thecampaign is on the ground, it's
like in practical terms, whilethe polls might say it's close,
(29:33):
she is entering the month withall the advantages you could
possibly want.
She's got all the momentum.
Um, she's out here campaigningin ways and that typically
candidates don't do, again withthe media blitz here on
non-conventional media platformslike podcasts and radio shows
and Stern Show and whatnot.
(29:55):
Trump isn't doing any of that.
In terms of money, like you said, you know she's passed more
bills as a tie-breaking vote inthe Senate than any vice
president in history and nowshe's out here passing a bill.
In terms of money raised andgiven that she's only been the
candidate for, you know, 80 someodd days, that's an incredibly
(30:19):
absurd number.
Just fundraising at a levelwe've never seen before.
It's putting Obama to shame.
No offense to Obama, just like.
That's just how far shesurpassed what he had done
previously.
You know, and Trump'sfundraising is just his head's
(30:40):
like.
It's slowly trickling up butit's at a snail's pace.
It's nowhere near in terms of,like you know, the just massive
haul Harris has taken in.
And then Trump's drainRepublican voters so dry over
the course of the past eightyears, just sucking up you know
what, probably over the courseof the past eight years, a
(31:02):
couple billion dollars.
I know his, his donors might betapped in terms of small dollar
donors and also just in so manysmall dollar donors are turning
out to support Harris.
Like you said, it's voting withyour checkbook.
It shows a level of enthusiasmfor Harris as a candidate that
just does not exist on the rightin any form or fashion.
(31:25):
In terms of the ground game, she's got far more going for her
than the Trump campaign.
She's got hundreds of, hundredsof thousands of volunteers on
the ground in all of these swingstates in a way that Trump
doesn't.
I mean you know they wereclosing up Trump field offices
in North Carolina.
That's a state Trump needs Like.
There's no path to victory forTrump to win the electoral
(31:47):
college and lose North Carolina.
You're not going to win theblue wall and lose North
Carolina and become president, because you're probably not
going to win the blue wall.
If that's the case, in alllikelihood, if you're losing
North Carolina, you're probablylosing Georgia and Arizona is a
possibility as well.
(32:07):
And I know it's been stated hererecently over and over by a lot
of people on the right thatthey have a, you know, active
voter advantage in Floridasomewhere close to a million
active voters.
But that's a little bitdeceiving because you know
inactive voters can still vote.
They don't have to re-register,they don't have to do anything
like that.
They can just show up onElection Day cast a vote.
(32:30):
They like that.
They can just show up onElection Day, cast a vote.
And if you look at early votingin terms of requested ballots
and also return ballots, in mostsomething like 67 percent of
(32:56):
the ballots and have returnednearly 70 percent more or 70
percent of the ballots I mean,it's just you know she's going
to have the advantage going inelection day and it might not be
a margin that Trump will beable to overcome.
That's what you want to do.
You want to get your votesbanked because you never know
what might happen over thecourse of October.
(33:18):
It's called the Octobersurprise for a reason.
We don't necessarily know whatthat may or may not be, but in
all likelihood it's not going tobe anything damning for Kamala
Harris.
So you want to get as manyvotes in the bank as you can as
possible.
Harris is doing that.
I mean, just everything isgoing on her way at this point
all the momentum, all theadvantages and she's not the one
(33:42):
running from debates andrunning from interviews.
And every time you turn on aKamala Harris rally, it looks
like some kind of fuckingcelebrity is just hosting an
event.
It's incredible.
The energy is off the charts.
And every time you turn on aTrump rally, he's saying
(34:03):
something utterly fucking insane.
Speaker 4 (34:05):
Oh my God, the
contrast could not be more stark
.
Speaker 3 (34:09):
She has what he
wishes.
He had.
Speaker 1 (34:15):
What is this?
The Wizard of Oz?
If he only had a brain.
Speaker 3 (34:19):
I meant an adoring
audience.
But yeah, a brain would begreat.
I think he cares less aboutthat.
Speaker 1 (34:25):
Wow.
Well, there is no such thing asthe wizard, and he's definitely
not out here controlling thehurricanes.
And that concludes this episodeof Parody Interaction.
