In episode 001 of Pass the Potatoes, we talk about why people turn to exercise to lose weight and why they often fail. Jody exercised 6 days a week for an entire year. She lost 12 pounds and then stalled out. Exercise has many benefits, but weight loss isn’t one of them. If you can accept exercise for what it is (and isn’t), you may stop punishing yourself with exercise you don’t enjoy, and stop feeling bad when you don’t see big changes on the scale. We hope to inspire you to move your body in a way that feels good. Stay tuned for future episodes on how Jody changed her mindset around diet, exercise and wellness and lost a significant amount of weight successfully. There’s no special diet and we aren’t selling anything.
