Speaker 1 (00:00):
Weapons of warfare.
How do we go on the offenseagainst the enemy?
Let's talk about it.
Hey, what's up?
Family, welcome to Pastor.
To Pastor, I'm Pastor Seth.
Across from me I've got PastorJason Watson.
Speaker 2 (00:19):
Hey, hey, hey
everybody.
Speaker 1 (00:20):
Super excited to be
with you again today.
We hope that our topics ofdeliverance we're going to
continue today has been ablessing.
Speaker 2 (00:28):
Look man, unraveling
deliverance has been huge.
I know we've gotten somefeedback from people who are
growing and learning in thisself-deliverance, helping
deliver others, realizing thethings that God has given us and
the abilities, and it's awesome, man.
Speaker 1 (00:42):
I think one thing we
need to start off by saying that
I think we want to keepconsistent is we're still
learning this process.
Speaker 2 (00:48):
For sure.
Speaker 1 (00:48):
And what you find.
The more you dig into things, the more you learn, the more
tactics you understand.
Speaker 2 (00:54):
And the more you
realize how much you don't know.
Speaker 1 (00:55):
Yeah, ain't that the
truth?
Yeah, that's like with the wordand with Jesus and everything.
Yeah, but on the topic ofdeliverance, man, we've been
through quite a bit ofdeliverances with people, and
none of them are always the same.
Speaker 2 (01:07):
No, for sure.
Speaker 1 (01:08):
It's always different
and stuff, and so last podcast
we stopped on number seven, which was warfare and the
weapons that we have, and wefelt like it needed to have some
dedicated time.
Speaker 2 (01:19):
Yeah, for sure.
I mean to understand, to reallybe able to dig into the weapons
, because most people think thatChristians are.
You know, when you talk toChristians, how you doing.
I'm just barely getting by.
Speaker 1 (01:29):
I'm holding on.
That's sad.
You know, when the weather getsbad, the SAD syndrome, oh my
goodness yeah.
Speaker 2 (01:36):
So we're wanting to
show you guys how to fight back,
how to take the fight to theenemy and to deliver
Self-deliverance, deliver.
Other people realize thatyou're not made to be a doormat
for the enemy.
That's right.
You've been given the authorityover the enemy.
Speaker 1 (01:48):
Yep, and you need to
exercise that authority, that's
right.
You have the authority.
Why not use it?
You want to use it in yourworkplace, that's right.
You want to use it over yourkids?
Uh-huh you want you use itagainst the one who's trying to
take it from you.
Speaker 2 (02:03):
For sure, go to the
enemy's camp.
Hallelujah, take back what hestole from me.
Come on down, will I All right?
All right, hold on All right, here we go, let's get it, let's
reel it in, let's reel it in,let's reel it in.
Speaker 1 (02:15):
Awesome.
So that's right and ourauthority comes from God's word
and it comes from our identityand placement with the father.
I love that.
If you speak victory andbelieve in Jesus, you will
always overcome.
Speaker 2 (02:30):
You will overcome.
Speaker 1 (02:33):
Why don't you read
what Mark 16?
Speaker 2 (02:34):
says, let's get them
Come on back to Bible.
Speaker 1 (02:38):
We got to get them in
the Bible, right, that's right.
Speaker 2 (02:40):
Let's talk about Mark
16, 7 to 18.
It's going to kind of be thebasis for where we start today,
the first weapon of your warfare.
So Mark 16, 17 through 18 saysand these signs will follow
those who believe In my name.
They will cast out demons, theywill speak with new tongues,
they will take up serpents andif they drink anything deadly it
(03:00):
will by no means hurt them.
They will lay hands on the sick, and they might not.
They will recover Right.
So in that scripture, the veryfirst weapon we'll pull out of
that thing is the name of Jesus.
Speaker 1 (03:12):
Yeah, I love it, man.
It always starts with Jesus.
You know, we've been growing upand I've walked past my
grandmother, even my mother, praying, and many times the only
thing they would say is Jesus.
Speaker 2 (03:25):
Jesus.
Speaker 1 (03:26):
Jesus, because
there's power in that name.
Freedom starts with him.
And when you realize that he'sone of the greatest weapons you
have because he wants to fightfor you.
The Bible says that he's anintercessor for you and
sometimes we lack that by notcalling on the intercessor in
those times of need.
That goes with us trying totake control and stuff.
But I love this because we'vebeen the Indian, we've been
(03:48):
through deliverances and thingsand it seems like any time you
bring up the name of Jesus it'ssomebody who is possessed by the
demonic man.
They just go foolish becausethere's a fear.
Speaker 2 (03:59):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (03:59):
The Bible says they
tremble at that name Right, and
so the first weapon is the nameof Jesus.
In my name, which is Jesus, wewill cast out demons.
Speaker 2 (04:09):
It's not in your name
.
Speaker 1 (04:10):
That's right.
It ain't, jason.
It ain't in my name.
Speaker 2 (04:12):
Yeah, it ain't in
Seth.
Speaker 1 (04:14):
Because what I know
is you can scream my name and I
may not ever hear you.
Speaker 2 (04:17):
Right, you may scream
, my wife calls my name across
the house and sometimes I can'thear.
But the good thing is you canalways.
Those who call on the name ofjesus will be saved.
He will come in, yes, and bethat strong tower for you for
sure.
So the first one is the name ofjesus in my name.
Cast out demons, speak in newtongues, take up serpents, pick
(04:38):
up any deadly thing, drink anydeadly thing.
By no means it will hurt them.
Hands on sick and they willrecover.
So the first one is found inmark 16, 7 to 18 the name of
jesus, that's right and it tellsyou what will happen in that
name, you know.
Speaker 1 (04:51):
It tells you what
comes with it.
When you say it, you can expectresults.
And when you come out, you canexpect.
They said these signs followthose who believe.
Now my question for many peoplewho are listening what signs
are following you?
Come on, is it the signs thatJesus says will happen when you
let me lead you and lead the way?
Speaker 2 (05:09):
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (05:09):
Or is it signs of
destruction, signs of depression
, signs of doubt and fear andworry, all the things that the
enemy when it shows proof thatyou're being led by the enemy
instead of the Father Right?
And so let's correct ourthinking first and open our
mouth, and we can declare Jesusover the struggles over the
things Jesus on.
Look, you're in a singing moodtoday.
(05:30):
I don't know what it is, man,you better worship him while you
can.
You know what I'm saying.
Speaker 2 (05:34):
Worship him while you
can.
Let's go on to number two.
The second one is versus thename of Jesus.
The second one is the blood ofJesus and your testimony.
And look, man, this can befound in Revelations 12, 11.
It says that in Revelation theyovercame him by the blood of
the lamb and the word of theirtestimony.
They did not love their livesto the death.
(05:57):
Like this also kind of coverssubmission, right, yeah.
So the blood of Jesus, man.
Look, we have delivered, we'vebeen in deliverance sessions and
we just plead the blood.
Right, something about theblood.
We just plead the blood ofJesus because it's through that
blood our atonement for sin hastaken us from the depths of sin
(06:18):
and from that mud, that miryclay.
Look, the blood has provided away for us to be free.
So when you start declaring thename of Jesus and the blood of
Jesus, man, those are two thingsright there by themselves that
will liberate people.
Speaker 1 (06:31):
Yep, and I love that
it also growing up we would sing
these songs that there's awonder working power.
Speaker 2 (06:38):
Now you talking about
me singing.
Now here you go.
Man, you got me stirred up inmy soul, the bloodline Come on
somebody.
Speaker 1 (06:44):
And you know, when
you understand the magnitude
that the blood of Jesus applied.
It's got to be applied.
You've got to receive it.
You've got to submit your lifeto Christ so that he can apply
the blood of Christ on you tocleanse you, to set you free.
And then you get a testimony totell here's the truth.
You don't have a testimonywithout the blood.
(07:05):
That's right.
You can't have one without theother, because we start our
testimony as I once was lost, but now I've been found.
I was dying, but now I havelife.
And from that now we're alreadyconfident in something that
Jesus already changed my life.
Speaker 2 (07:23):
If he changed my life
once, what is attacking me now,
he can change and fix that now.
Yeah, and he did it for me andhe can do it for you.
Yeah, that's right.
That's the spirit of testimonyright there, that is Spirit of
prophecy right there.
Speaker 1 (07:29):
Amen, yes, sir, and I
believe in what he did for me,
he'll do even greater for you.
Absolutely, yep, yeah.
So you got the name of Jesus.
Speaker 2 (07:37):
All right.
Speaker 1 (07:49):
You got the right,
and this one's a tough one.
This is gonna be a curse wordfor a lot, of, a lot of folk.
Right, it's gonna be submission.
Speaker 2 (07:52):
That's a tough, I
know I said it.
I'm sorry, please forgive me,my god, that's a tough word for
people, right?
Some weapons you can use inyour warfare.
Like submission to god, allright, uh.
James 4 7 says therefore, submit to god, resist the devil
and he will what he'll flee,he'll flee, he'll flee from you,
right?
So submitting to God it startswith the fear of the Lord is the
beginning of wisdom, right?
And so the submission of God,lord, whatever it is you want me
(08:15):
to do.
Therefore, submit to God.
Whatever God leads you to do,resist, and the devil will flee
from you.
I'm going to just say this andthe devil will flee from you.
Speaker 1 (08:21):
I'm going to just say
this.
I know this is a very basicanalogy, but when you think
about it it's the same concept.
We're both married.
We have submitted ourselves toour wives.
That's what Scripture says.
Not only do we submit to them, but they submit to us as well,
and what we do is we resist anyattack of the enemy that tries
(08:43):
to come into our marriage.
Many times it's infidelity, adultery, those things.
We resist those opportunitiesand we flee from them so that we
can remain in covenant and wecan remain in relationship with
our spouse.
That's right in purity.
And through those submissionswe are allowing ourselves to
block attacks from the enemy.
And it's the same thing withthis thing, the spiritual thing,
(09:04):
with Christ If you submit yourlife to him, you are resisting
the devil, resisting theopportunity to fall short,
You're protecting yourself.
This is how we fight.
We put up a resistance of theenemy and many times we find
ourselves struggling because wefail to submit and resist the
things the enemy is throwing atus.
Speaker 2 (09:22):
Yeah, man, look you
know at the end of the day and
resist the things the enemy isthrowing at us.
Yeah, man, look you know at theend of the day, first thing,
submission right, got to besubmissive to God.
Lord, I'm at your feet and it'sreally recognizing that you
need God because without him youcan do nothing, right, right.
And so you're submitting to God.
And then you've got resist.
Let's be honest, ain't too manypeople right resisting the
(09:42):
devil?
Speaker 1 (09:43):
anymore.
No, we're justifying him.
Speaker 2 (09:44):
Right, we were trying
to say.
I was saying you're trying topreach.
Speaker 1 (09:46):
I could, we could
hang out here all day, right
here, son.
Speaker 2 (09:54):
Yeah, you're not
resisting it.
You're like oh, should I watchpornography?
Okay, oh, my phone turned to it.
No, your finger made your phoneturn to it.
You're not resisting the enemy, you're not resisting anything.
It's like oh well, if you twistmy arm, no, like you've got to
literally like stand eye to eye,toe to toe and be like I'm not
going that direction.
I refuse to do anything that'sgoing to separate me from God.
Speaker 1 (10:11):
Because we don't ask
what I have to do to be saved.
What can I do to still?
Speaker 2 (10:15):
be saved.
Yeah, that's what people areasking today, absolutely.
But the whole, the premise issubmit yourself to God, know
what God has said.
Yes to Right.
But there's not many peopleresisting anymore.
But if you will resist, like Iwrote this down Right, what you
(10:35):
obey today, you won't have tosacrifice tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (10:38):
Yeah, to my all I
have to give up.
Speaker 2 (10:40):
I have to give up.
No, you if you.
Obedience is better thansacrifice, that's right.
If you obey today, you won'thave to sacrifice tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (10:46):
Right.
Speaker 2 (10:47):
It won't be a
sacrifice, I'm just doing it in
obedience.
That's right.
And so, yeah, resist the enemy.
Submit to God and resist theenemy.
Yeah, absolutely, these are foryourself, like this is for
self-deliverance and this is forhelping others get delivered.
That's right.
And so it's twofold If you, ifyou don't start bad habits today
, you won't have to break themtomorrow.
Speaker 1 (11:07):
You don't start
smoking today.
Speaker 2 (11:08):
You don't start doing
drugs today.
You don't start like offeringyourself up your flesh up to do.
If you're not pleasing theflesh today, you won't have to
deny the flesh tomorrow.
Speaker 1 (11:17):
That's right man
that's right and that's how we
get caught up, because a lot ofus, we think that if we, you
know, it's that we talked aboutit, the, the repentance of the
heart, the repentance of themind, true repentance of being
set free, is truly submittingthese things to God to be set
free so you can resist them.
And, man, you're right, you'reright, don't start bad habits
(11:38):
today.
Speaker 2 (11:39):
Yeah, and here's the
thing If you make a mistake,
it's being humble and beinghonest and coming before God,
humbly and Lord, I failed.
I'm sorry, like truly Not.
I failed today and I'm goingback tomorrow.
But that I failed today and I'mgoing back tomorrow.
Right, but that I failed.
And God, with your power, withyour strength, if you'll
strengthen me in my weakness.
God and help me.
I will overcome this.
Yeah, I'll be better, butanyway.
Speaker 1 (11:59):
Obeying God today
will prepare for tomorrow and
helping others get deliveredRight.
I love what you've got here,Pastor.
You said a small nudge to startfasting.
A meal a day is better thanspending six hours in a
deliverance session.
It's amazing how people want tobe delivered but they don't
(12:19):
want to prep for it they justthink they're going to show up
and things are going to change.
When they've, they have notprepped their spirit, they're
not prepped their soul, theirmind, they haven't prayed, they
haven't done anything to proveto Christ.
I'm willing to do my part inorder to be set free to think.
Everybody wants Jesus to doeverything, with no commitment,
no submission or nothing.
Speaker 2 (12:38):
Yeah, that's it.
But he's already provided theway.
I mean, I'm excited about thestudy we're doing tonight and
maybe, if we extend this, we'llkind of get into it, but he's
already given us the authorityand the power over so many
things.
He's already declared things inheaven and earth.
He's already us the authorityand the power over so many
things.
But there are things you like.
He's already declared things inheaven and earth.
He's already bound and loosenedthings, and now he's given us
the authority to do the same andso.
(13:00):
But there are certain thingsyou have to do in order to get
free, and if you aren't willingto do it, then you don't want to
be free.
Let's just be honest about it.
Speaker 1 (13:07):
You've got to submit
to God and you've also got to
submit to the process.
Yeah, if you want deliverance, there is a part that you have to
do to prepare.
Yeah, to make those things work.
Speaker 2 (13:17):
And it's not just a.
It's not just a we'll do thisand you'll be delivered.
There's also steps for after,too.
After, oh yeah, Because if yougo into it blind and think, oh,
I'm going to be delivered andtest it right yeah, I mean you
gotta get wisdom there's gottabe a plan, yeah, yeah
(13:38):
absolutely but anyway, yeah, ifyou will start like, like just
an example, like you talkedabout, if we'll fast a meal
today, we won't have to fast fortwo or three, you know, for six
hours, which we've been there,we've.
We've kind of got hit up withthis, this principality.
I wouldn't even call it.
It was a strong, strong demonin this girl.
One time we were out there withher for six hours we were like,
(14:00):
please, holy Spirit.
Speaker 1 (14:02):
God leave her.
Help me, Help me.
That's for sure, bro, but yeah.
Speaker 2 (14:08):
So submission to God,
man, submit to God, resist the
devil.
Small yeses today will equal awhole lot.
Big victories, big victories.
Come on, somebody, Number four,go ahead and hit them with it.
Speaker 1 (14:19):
The sword of the
Spirit, which Ephesians 6, 17
talks about it.
Many of you know about thearmor of God and take the helmet
of salvation and the sword ofthe Spirit, which is the word of
God.
Now, out of all the armor anditems that are listed in
Ephesians 6, I encourage you togo read that and figure out how
you can be on the offensive anddefensive.
(14:40):
But this is the only offensiveweapon, the sword of the spirit.
The rest is defensive becauseyou need both of them.
Speaker 2 (14:47):
It's protection, yeah
, yeah.
Speaker 1 (14:48):
They protect.
You need to have both of thosethings.
But the sword of the spirit ismeant for warfare.
You just can't cower in acorner and think that you're
going to win all your battles.
You've got to stand on what youknow, be confident in the
Father, be confident in what youhave.
And the problem is a lot of usaren't confident with our
offensive weapon is because wespend no time understanding and
developing the knowledge that itgives us, and so we don't have
(15:11):
anything to say against theenemy.
Speaker 2 (15:12):
That's right, this
walk it gives us, and so we
don't have anything to sayagainst the enemy.
That's right.
This, this, this walk with God,man, it is.
It is so deep and I don'tbelieve.
And one thing, man, I love aboutscripture in itself it doesn't
matter if you get a PhD or ifyou've just opened up for the
first time.
You are going to get somethingfrom the be revealed to you,
(15:33):
right.
And so as you begin to read andpray, like, god will reveal
things to you, like dude, everytime I open scripture I get this
revelation that teaches mesomething Like, I get this
understanding that I didn't havebefore and it teaches me how to
better prepare myself.
It teaches me more about whoJesus is, more about who I'm
supposed to be, my identity inChrist, how I'm supposed to
(15:53):
carry myself.
And we were doing withCrosspoint Christian Academy, we
were doing it with the kidsthis morning.
We're like the Word will helpyou, be prepared, so that you so
that even I'm big onself-reflection, I like to
reflect and see how I canimprove things, but studying the
Scripture will prepare you sothat you won't even have to
reflect.
Speaker 1 (16:16):
You just know how
you're supposed to be and the
Holy Spirit will remind you thethings that you've been taught
is what Scripture says inCorinthians, and what I know to
be true about Scripture is ifyou don't have Scripture in your
heart and in your mind, it'seasy for you to believe the lies
of the enemy.
For sure, yeah, and so when hetells you you're worthless,
you're unloved and you don'thave backing with a scripture
that says no, no, those are lieswhere you can say no.
I was fearfully and wonderfullymade.
God gave his whole life for me,even while I was a sinner,
while I was broken.
(16:37):
He loved me enough.
And you have all these thingsthat scripture can combat the
attacks of the enemy, but weshoot ourselves in the foot to
say, because we don't, we have.
It's crazy to have access tosomething that can bring us
freedom but still push it to theside because we're just lazy.
Speaker 2 (16:52):
Yeah, I mean, it's
like the enemy telling you well,
no one loves you and and man, you, you're the, you're the
least of these and all this like, but but you got a whole love
book right, but scripture saysI'm the head and not the tail
yeah so you know, if you look inthis thing, if you've been
around christianity for sometime, you've heard this, right,
but that's how jesus fought theenemy back.
uh, whenever he was in thewilderness for 40 days, the
(17:14):
enemy would come and he wouldsay but the word of God says
make these.
He's like you're hungry.
Won't you make these?
And I'm paraphrasing obviously, won't you make these breads.
Speaker 1 (17:21):
He said it just like
that too you hungry, you hungry.
Yeah, you know, you hungryright, he's like man shall, so
you have to have Scripture inorder to fight the enemy and
what he's trying to speak to you.
Yeah, because even in that samecontext, in that passage, man
he's like I'll give youeverything.
He didn't realize, jesus, healready owned it all.
(17:41):
Yeah, he's trying to offer youthings that you already have,
but you don't even know it,because you're not even reading
Scripture and having the Wordyes, sir, but what I also love
about the word Pastor Jay isthat it says it's a two-edged
sword.
It cuts going in and coming out, which means it can challenge
you in the flesh and fix you inthe flesh and get you subject to
the word, but also it is anattack and warfare meant for the
(18:04):
enemy as well.
Speaker 2 (18:04):
Yeah, for sure.
Speaker 1 (18:05):
Because he can't deny
truth.
Lies cannot combat against thetruth.
The truth will always set youfree.
The truth will always be astandard against the lies of the
enemy.
Speaker 2 (18:15):
But you just got to
open the book.
Open the book, get it in yourheart.
Open the book.
What do they?
Speaker 1 (18:18):
got to do.
Come on back to Bible.
Speaker 2 (18:21):
That's exactly what
you got to do.
Come on tell them that's right.
Speaker 1 (18:24):
Let's jump to number
five, because this is the
hardest for most people, andthat is prayer and fasting oh my
goodness To tell somebody toput away their cheeseburger and
spend time with the Lord andit's not like a weight loss
thing we're trying to do.
Speaker 2 (18:40):
Yeah, we're doing it
intentionally.
Speaker 1 (18:41):
You know, the weight
we're trying to lose is the
weight of the enemy off of ourshoulders.
Yes, sir, and we're trying todrop that weight, but you've got
to do it.
Let's talk about it.
Speaker 2 (18:49):
Yeah, so Scripture
you know, we've covered this
before the Scripture of the kidwho kept having seizures.
Right, the demon kept throwinghim into the fire.
The disciples couldn't cast itout because they weren't strong
enough, and then so, afterward, jesus was like these only come
out by prayer and fasting.
What's interesting about prayer, though, is that not all
deliverance ministers agree thatprayer is a weapon.
Speaker 1 (19:10):
Okay.
Speaker 2 (19:11):
Like in my study,
what I figured out is that some
believe.
Well, prayer is a preemptivestrike.
It's something that prepares youversus praying in the middle.
But here's the truth.
I think most of your prayerpersonally, my experience I
think most of your prayer shouldbe up front If you're heading
into a deliverance ministry, ifyou're heading into a
deliverance service or event, oryou've scheduled somebody for
(19:31):
deliverance or you're becomingdelivered yourself.
Look, here's the interestingthing about this class it will
pull to the surface, it will goahead and start preparing
something on the surface for youto deliver later.
But it comes through prayer.
The more time you spend inprayer when you start right here
man tongue side, come onsomebody Anyway let's move on.
Speaker 1 (19:54):
Okay, my bad, my bad.
I love what you're saying,Pastor Jake.
Prayer strengthens you whenyou're going to war.
Speaker 2 (20:02):
For sure yeah.
Speaker 1 (20:03):
When you go in there,
you're allowing the Holy Spirit
to speak and prep you, soyou're not what we would say
shooting with a shotgun.
You're shooting with a rifle.
You can go straight to theproblem and begin to call those
things out.
Prayer gives us clarity.
Yeah, it does.
Speaker 2 (20:18):
And there are times
where, in deliverance, you'll be
delivering someone in a demonmanifest and you'll ask hey,
what nature are you?
And you can tell just bylooking at them, sometimes, like
you're the demon of pride, oryou're the spirit of pride,
you're the spirit of infirmityor whatever it is.
They will kind of tell youwithout telling you these
non-verbal cues.
But sometimes you'll ask themhey, tell me, you can't figure
(20:40):
it out.
Tell me what nature you are of.
And and if you expect the demonto give you the true answer
every single time, like thenyou're going to be deceived.
You're going to be runningaround in circles, yeah, but
I've learned that spending timein prayer before you even get
there will eliminate a lot ofthe conversation you need to
have with the enemy.
Speaker 1 (20:55):
Yeah, prayer helps
you load the gun that you're
going to use as a weapon.
Yes, sir To attack the enemyand so you're not going into
deliverance and just sayinglet's go before the Lord and
pray, really quick, no, no no,we're going to war.
We've already prayed, we'veprepped, the Lord has spoke.
We're calling you out.
We're not going to patty cakearound this and let's call out
what the Lord's already revealedin our private time of prayer
(21:16):
and fasting.
Speaker 2 (21:17):
Yeah, and there are
times during prayer.
You know, while we're doingprayer, there are times during
deliverance where you'll need topray and ask God for strategy.
Like.
I'm just not quite sure.
You'll need to ask.
And here's the thing too InScripture in the Old Testament,
daniel prayed for God to helpand he sent an angel to minister
(21:40):
with the answer he was lookingfor.
So your prayer will release ananswer.
So in many ways you need topray before and there will be
times while you're doingdeliverance where you'll need to
pray.
But prayer and fasting, fastingwill supercharge your prayer.
I mean it will supercharge youspiritually.
When you start denying fleshand that's what fasting is
(22:01):
denying your flesh in order togain spiritually when you start
praying and fastingintentionally over one specific
thing, man, you will besurprised.
How long have you ever fasted?
I mean, like just straightwater.
Speaker 1 (22:17):
About a week.
Speaker 2 (22:17):
About a week, yeah,
my body be shutting down.
Speaker 1 (22:20):
My body shuts down in
two days, man, my wife be like
well, you quit fasting.
You can't handle fasting.
I'm like you know what, peter, get behind me Satan.
Yeah, no man, it's tough man.
Speaker 2 (22:32):
It is rough.
I remember one time I had wewere going into a week of prayer
and so I said I'm going to fast.
I even took off from workbecause I wanted to be able to
spend every day, all day, in theWord and prayer and really seek
in God's face.
Man by day three my body waslike getting out of the bed
became a struggle.
(22:53):
I mean literally, but I'mtelling you I felt like every
time I begin to to have aconversation with god man, it
was like like super chargedthere's a difference you can
tell a difference when you'redenying flesh in order to gain
spiritually, in order to toconnect deeply, more deeply with
god.
Speaker 1 (23:09):
Yeah, and I, I love
that you're reading your bible
and that you're praying.
You're fasting.
It's really showing, it'sreally showing.
Speaker 2 (23:16):
It's really showing.
Well, I appreciate it.
One day I'm going to studyenough to get you saved.
It's going to happen, Listenprayer and fasting is strategy.
Yeah.
Speaker 1 (23:27):
It helps.
You have strategy for the enemy, you don't go in the dark, you
don't think in that.
Hey, you know what?
I'm just going here and I'llpray up and what's going to
happen is you're going toprobably walk away with your
tail tucked in, because it's notcupcakes and rainbows, man,
it's war.
That's why they call it warfare.
Speaker 2 (23:42):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (23:43):
You go in, you go
prepared and prayer and fasting.
I don't want to hear fromsomebody, I want to hear from
the Lord.
Speaker 2 (23:51):
That's it.
Speaker 1 (23:51):
And I don't want to
hear from myself.
And prayer and fasting clearsyour mind and lets you just like
you said, man, there'ssomething completely differently
about it and, um, if I knowthat me sacrificing a meal or
two is what's going to lead meto the road of my freedom.
Speaker 2 (24:08):
I'll do it, or even,
or you know, fasting should,
let's be honest, be a part ofthe lifestyle of a christian
anyway for sure like I mean, there are there are times where
and we should, we should reallyprobably push back for a meal or
two or a few days, likewhatever the case is, because we
are genuinely seeking to growstronger in god we want to hear
his voice more and more.
That's right, um, so anyway.
Ephesians 6 18 says prayingalways, praying always, with
(24:33):
prayer and supplication in thespirit, being watchful to the
end, with all perseverance andsupplication for all the saints.
Yeah, anyway, ben, look, wewant to talk about
manifestations.
Do you want to save it?
Speaker 1 (24:46):
Yeah, let's save it,
let's save it, let's recap
really quick, all right.
Speaker 2 (24:49):
Okay, weapons of our
warfare.
Speaker 1 (24:50):
Yeah, weapons of our
warfare.
It all starts with Jesus.
Speaker 2 (24:53):
Yes.
Speaker 1 (24:53):
Declaring his name,
knowing that it is in his name
that we can cast out demons.
It's in his name that we cantake up serpents and all those
things that scripture tells usin Mark, chapter 16.
It starts with him.
Speaker 2 (25:07):
Yep.
Speaker 1 (25:08):
And these are the
signs that follow those people
who actually know whose name todeclare and what to say.
Secondly, you have the blood ofJesus and your testimony.
You can't have either, or it'sboth, and you have a testimony
because of the blood of Jesus, and when you acknowledge that,
you realize that my testimonyfoundation is what Christ did on
the cross.
(25:28):
I'm being cleansed, I've beenset free.
The third thing is submissionto God.
We just said another cuss wordagain, but it's such a big deal
submitting to him that way thatyou can resist the devil and he
will flee.
Freedom starts with Jesus andthe submission to him Right.
And so, fourth, you've got thesword of the spirit.
(25:49):
And then last we just talkedabout it prayer and fasting.
These things are so importantfor you to have spiritual
freedom and to go to war against.
No more cowering in a cornerand saying you know, this is
just who I am, this is just whatI got to deal with.
I'll never be free.
I'll always be bound.
These are steps that get you tofreedom.
You just got to have theboldness and the drive to
(26:09):
actually do these things and beset free.
Speaker 2 (26:11):
Yeah, sure, well,
brother, if you're good, I'm
going to go ahead and bless themand we'll send them on their
way, absolutely, and we thankyou guys so much for listening
to us, for being a part ofPastor to Pastor, If you have
any questions or if you needsome clarification on anything
or if you need deliverance, whatever the case is, reach out
to us Free her bro.
Speaker 1 (26:33):
I mean, we will set
you free right using all these
weapons of warfare, and he's gotsome heavy hands, y'all.
His holy ghost hurt.
Speaker 2 (26:38):
It's heavy.
Let's get out of here before weget in trouble, hey, but make
sure you like, share, subscribe, all those good things we want
to get the word out.
That's all it's about it's notabout pastor to pastor.
It's about Jesus.
We want to deliver people, setpeople free, show them the love
and goodness of Jesus, Anyway,of Jesus and anyway.
(26:58):
So let me bless you withNumbers 6, 24 to 26.
Says the Lord bless you andkeep you.
The Lord make his face shineupon you and be gracious to you.
The Lord lift up hiscountenance upon you and give
you peace, Pastor Jay let mepray for them, father.
Speaker 1 (27:07):
We just thank you
today, for all those who are
listening, those who arestruggling or bound, those that
are dealing with addictions andthings that have happened in
childhood, or struggling intheir marriages, and things, god
, that they just cannot seem tocut loose.
Father, I pray that thesepodcasts and these words that
you're giving and the challengesthat you're giving us, god,
will continue to help us growand develop.
God, I pray that they willstart taking steps to freedom.
(27:29):
Give them the boldness and thehumility to reach out for help,
whether it's to us or a localpastor or a local minister or
someone who can reach out andhelp pull them out of the pit,
out of the darkness.
God, we just thank you for theseopportunities.
We thank you for those who arelistening.
God, let them step into freedomthis day, forward, submitting
to you, resisting the devil andwalking into freedom.
(27:51):
We thank you so much.
In Jesus name, we pray Amen.
Thank you so much for listening.
Share this with someone who youknow needs freedom and we look
forward to hearing the resultsof what God can do.
Speaker 2 (28:02):
God bless, you See
you next time.
