At nineteen years old, he was strung out on heroin, lost, and looking for a way out. What he found was a miracle. The night he walked into Lifeline Outreach, an Apostolic men’s rehabilitation home, he expected pain and withdrawal—but instead, he found peace. God took the addiction from him completely, and within days, he was filled with the Holy Ghost and baptized in Jesus’ name. That moment changed everything.
From the barrios of Jalisco, Mexico, to the deserts of Arizona, his story is one of redemption, resilience, and faithfulness. He built a life devoted to God, his wife Yvonne, and their family—a husband, father, and grandfather whose gentle spirit and steadfast love touched everyone around him.
Even in his final days, as his body grew weak, his spirit was strong. On his last Sunday, surrounded by the presence of God, he began to speak in tongues again—worshipping the same God who had delivered him decades before.
This episode is a tribute to a man who never stopped believing, never stopped serving, and never stopped loving. His story is proof that the same mercy that saves us also keeps us—through every season, every storm, and every step home.
