Pepe Aguilar confiesa que tenía muchas ganas de hablar largo y tendido con Pati Chapoy, aunque para ello tuvo que esperar varios años.
Lo cierto es que lo hizo en un momento en que su apellido está más vigente que nunca, no sólo por los constantes proyectos musicales en los que se enfrasca, como la grabación de su más reciente disco "Mi suerte es ser mexicano", sino a causa de la revolución que la boda de su hija Angela Aguilar y Christian Nodal ha causado desde hace casi un año.
La relación con sus hijos es precisamente uno de los tantos temas que Pepe aborda con Pati, sin eludir su distanciamiento de Emiliano, el mayor, a quien no tuvo la fortuna de ver crecer debido a su temprano divorcio de Carmen Treviño, su primera esposa.
En cambio con Aneliz Alvarez, Pepe ha logrado un matrimonio de 30 años, 20 menos que el apasionado romance que vivieron sus padres Flor Silvestre y Antonio Aguilar y cuyo comienzo también causó un terremoto público.
Por eso Pati le lanza una inesperada pregunta: ¿entonces viene de familia?, lo que provoca que Pepe casi brinque de su asiento, para luego recomponerse y hablar de muchos otros temas como su salud mental, sus inicios como rockero, su independencia como artista, sus caballos y hasta la idea de grabar a dúo con su hoy yerno...
Una charla muy en confianza, pero no por ello libre de sobresaltos. Y es que nada es lo que parece.
