countries and things you know.
As a little kid I thought thatwas pretty cool that they could
do that.

Mark had a.
We called him Mark the VoiceGuy and Mark the Voice Guy had a
very unique job.
So on my radio, you know, onthe show you play, you go to a
commercial, you play somecommercials and you come back

(12:36):
and you know, you play somemusic, transition back from the
commercials back into the showand you start talking right.
So during over the music weused to play.
Her husband, mark, god bless, rest in peace, love him.

He's a young man but he would dothese little liners over the
music for my show, this portionof the Pat Wall Show brought to

(12:57):
you by Corduroy Pillows, makingheadlines since 1971.
If you get that joke, she gotthat joke up there.

that, and there was no one likehim.

Speaker 3 (14:56):
Irish baby, let's go Irish.

Speaker 1 (15:00):
Our whole family's Irish.
Six kids were Irish Catholic, grew up in the 60s.
Well, tell us an Irish joke.
Oh God, oh God, oh God, theones I know, they're pretty
crass, they're pretty crass.
Yes, yes, I had a great uncleIn Dublin, though.

(15:22):

He worked at a brewery there,Like a big brewery there, it's
like the Guinness.
Yeah, I was just at theGuinness brewery.
He was my great uncle actually, and he works at this brewery
and his job was to.
You know, he mans these bigvats, gigantic vats of beer.
So he's up there and he onetime no kidding now he falls

(15:45):
into the vat of beer.
He time, no kidding, now, hefalls into the vat of beer.
He fell into the damn thing.
So they got poles and they'retrying to.
They got ropes and they got alife saver preserver and they're
throwing it in there.
But like a good Irishman, hefought them off valiantly, thank
you, thank you, thank you Foranyone who got that joke.

I think it's probably becauseMayberry it reminded me of

(16:28):
Mayberry back when Andy was thesheriff and Barney was the
deputy and Floyd was the barberand all of that.
So, yeah, went to Elk GroveHigh School, and that's one
thing I love about doing my showhere in Sacramento is because I
have a history of Sacramentowhich I can share with people
who may or may not have beenaround at that time, or people
who didn't live there at thetime or here at that time.

(16:49):
