As we creep closer and closerto the 300 milestone, which I'm
I mean.
That's just so awesome To me itis.
You know what it means.
It means we're working hard, our entire team here at Pat's

(00:33):
Peeps, happy to serve you.
Hey, it's a Wednesday.
Halfway through the week I'mlooking, you know what?
I'm looking out my studiowindows into the beautiful
foothills of Northern Californiatoday and today it's weed
eating.
Yes, come on now.
Yesterday, when I last, whenlast we spoke, they were weed

(00:55):
eating my yard out there.
God looks so nice.
Now, see, support local business.
They aren't patch peepsbusiness Well, they're not yet,
but they're going to be becausehe did a good job.
That's one of the greatcriteria being a Pat's Peeps
business.
The other criteria is howpeople treat you okay, that you

(01:16):
can trust them, that they'rereliable, you know that they're
going to give you deals and allof that.
And these gentlemen and I havetheir card over there.
I will tell you who they aremomentarily, because I forgot to
bring the card with me, butthey did an outstanding job.
This is why you want to supportlocal businesses.
Thank you to these gentlemen.

(01:38):
And you know what, today, onPat's Peeps 298, there is a
reminder for you here I'm goingto start with.
This is kind of a specialepisode.
I'm just going to be upfrontand honest with that.
Today we're going to promotesome Pat's Peeps and I think
you'll like what you're going tohear.
Number one, a reminder we'regoing to go to Sicily this fall
from October 25th to Novemberthe 5th, and that is our Pat's

(02:02):
Peeps group which goes withconservative tours.
We have been to Italy threetimes now to Sicily.
I've been to Ireland with thePats Peeps group there in
conservative tours.
We've been to France, germany,austria.
It has been just an amazingthing to be so blessed to be
able to travel with this greatgroup of people, which included,

(02:24):
by the way as I'm just going tokind of jump in here as we
celebrate local business whichincluded my very, very good
friend, dan Knapp, who isjoining me right now because,
ladies and gentlemen, let's hearit, there's my buddy, dan Knapp
, everybody.
Danny boy, how are you?

Speaker 2 (02:42):
Hello, hello, great Patrick, how are you doing?

Speaker 1 (02:45):
When's the last time you got an intro like that,
where someone applauded?

Speaker 2 (02:48):
I could have had music for you every, every time
I walk into a room, right is it.

Speaker 1 (02:53):
Can't you get like a big ep?
Look at everyone.
Dan, I do remember he's notjoking and I know he he's.
He's gonna think I forgot aboutthis.
By the way, dan and I have beenfriends since junior college,
butte college and then throughchico state.
We went to school together,I'll bet you, but I remember
this.
Dan did a lot of hard work, hewas a big shot and he'd go over

(03:14):
to and correct me, uh, on any ofthis if I get this wrong.
But you go, you go to india, right, you went to go to india a
lot and he would walk into aroom and people would stand like
, oh my god, in reverence.
Look, it's dan knapp.
Did I get that wrong?

Speaker 2 (03:30):
no, no, yeah, that wasn't the thing that.
Every time I walked in eitherthe programmer's room or the
graphic artist room or thedesigner's room, everyone would
stop working and stand up, so wepretty much had to put a
nickicks in that.
Please don't do that.
No need to do that.
It disrupts your work.

Speaker 1 (03:46):
It's so funny because my man, danny Boy, here is a I
mean, just a humble, humble guy,and so I thought we would take
a few minutes with ourbusinesses today, just a few
minutes just to kind of sharewhat we're trying to do here,
because tomorrow morning just areminder I'm going to be on
Studio 40 live in Sacramentowith Scott and with Gary.

(04:08):
I'm looking forward to that.
Finally, on TV, we're going topresent what we're doing here at
Pat's Peeps and then the StateFair we're going to have.
I'll have the dates we actuallyhave preliminary dates, but I'm
going to make sure that they'reset in stone and then tomorrow
morning I will tell you wherethat is going to be.
Oh, we have a primo location atthe State Fair.
I'm telling you you're notgoing to believe it it's the

(04:31):
best spot you can get at theState Fair.
So we're going to have a Pat'sPeeps gathering out there and
I'll do my radio show.
For those of you who do not know, I'm the host of the Pat Wall
Show, k host of the Pat WallShow, kfpk Radio in Sacramento,
93.1 FM, 1530 AM, and the ownerand proprietor of Pat's Peeps

(04:52):
podcast.
And if you go to patspeepscom, which I will be promoting on the
show tomorrow, like I said, andthen you click on our little
Pat's Peeps mall, danny Boy,that Dan put together.
We'll tell you more about that.
You're going to find ourbusinesses which give you
exclusive deals.
And as I'm scrolling down, going to the variety of
businesses we have, we havethese really cool businesses.

(05:15):
Here's one DC Design.
Dc Design when Danielle walksin the room, it's almost like
the same thing with Dan, exceptthere's a little bit more
applause when Danielle walks inbecause and reverence Danielle
Danielle Collins is joining us.
Dc Design I love your logo.
I love.
How are you?

(05:35):
Danielle is part of our PatsPeeps team.
Both Dan and Danielle are.
How are you today?

Speaker 4 (05:41):
I am fantastic.
Thank you so much for having meday.

Speaker 1 (05:47):
I am fantastic.
Thank you so much for having me.
Absolutely so.
You are a Pats Peeps businessand I tell you I've never seen
anyone do anything like what youdo.
What you do are you do thesefloral arrangements and you're
located in Roseville,dcfloraldesigncom.
Dcfloraldesigncom, you fell inlove with creating these bridal
flowers for your wedding.

(06:08):
Tell us where it went fromthere, daniel absolutely so.

Speaker 4 (06:13):
Um, I remember my mom telling me that the flowers for
her and dad's wedding day werewere dead on arrival.
So it's always been in the backof my head.
And when I was looking forflowers for our wedding about
four years ago now, I ran intosolo wood flowers and I tested
them out and fell in love.
So they're a paper-like flowerthat I can dye any color.

(06:34):
So, whatever I'm even doing ablack wedding later on, in
October, I believe so I cancustomize to any color.
You do not have to worry aboutwilt or any of that jazz and,
even better, they last forever.
So win, win, win.

Speaker 1 (06:49):
A black wedding.

Speaker 4 (06:52):
I am doing a black wedding.
Yes, sir, I don't know why.
A Billy.

Speaker 1 (06:55):
Idol came to mind.
You know, never mind, that'sjust my brain going crazy.

Speaker 4 (07:01):
I love when clients can challenge me.
It's very, very fun.
So they just want everything, all the flowers.

Speaker 1 (07:08):
Is this like a goth type of thing, or what?
What is?

Speaker 4 (07:10):
yes, really it's very goth oh yeah very, very goth in
the woods what's that?
Say it again they're in thewoods it'll be in the woods up
in forest hill.
It's going to be beautiful.
Oh, very romantic, with thecandles and the dark colors.
It's going to be gorgeous.

Speaker 1 (07:26):
Very nice Wow.

Speaker 4 (07:28):
Yeah, so stay tuned on my website and my Instagram.
Definitely will be posted.

Speaker 1 (07:33):
Yeah, whether it's a baby shower, right, a birthday
event, yep, you know, like yousaid, weddings obviously you
know you're not going to believeit.
If you look at the webpage atpatspeepscom, if you go to DC
Design, you're going to see howcool these are.
You're the only person, danielle, that I've ever seen do

(07:54):
this before.
It is truly impressive.
You can adjust the colors.
Like you said.
Unlike real flowers, thesethings last, of course, you get
the perfect color.
Unlike real flowers, thesethings last, of course, you get
the perfect, perfect color.
So you and you tell us about.
You've got a Pinterest board, because I think people need to
look at these and see forthemselves exactly what you do,

(08:15):
because, again, they're veryspecial.

Speaker 4 (08:17):
Yeah, absolutely so.
I am active on social media.
On Facebook, I can be found atDC design on social media.
On Facebook, I can be found atDC Design, and then on Instagram
it is at DC underscore design916.
And then, of course, my website, and yeah, I just update,
especially Instagram, anyprojects that I'm working on.

(08:38):
I update more to come and justit's very exciting, I have past
brides from two years ago thatare still in touch with me and I
get right, I just did a weddingin Montana, actually, and it's
the cousin of a bride I did twoand a half years ago.
So, yeah, I'm, I'm all over, Ican ship.
It's a fun product.

Speaker 1 (08:57):
That's a telltale sign of someone who does a great
job is that people keep intouch with you a couple of years
later, and it's also a greatpoint that you bring this up
Montana.
So tell us about that, becauseit's.
Are you saying then, danielle, that it, uh, this is not just
that DC design is not just local, that you can do things
remotely?

Speaker 4 (09:18):
Absolutely yes.
So, um, uh, with thisparticular bride, we just
communicated um via FaceTime thewhole time, and then she was in
town a few times, justcommunicated um via FaceTime the
whole time, and then she was intown a few times just because
of family.
But we can do everything onlineand then I would ship.
I just shipped everything outto her, easy peasy.
I didn't use real greens, whichI typically do, um, it just
gives it obviously more of thatvibrant live feeling, but we use

(09:41):
artificial greens that I sourcethat look beautiful and it
honestly the pictures pictures.
I haven't posted them onlineyet.
I'm waiting for thephotographer to give me the
sneak peeks, but they're soon tocome.
I'm very excited.
Well, yep, we ship, we do allof it, that is fantastic.

Speaker 1 (09:58):
that's just great because, like, if you see it
online and you're in, you knowmontana, like you say, or
wherever you are and you go, wow, I wish we had these.
Well, you do have those, and ifthey call you, give your phone
number and your website again,if you would.

Speaker 4 (10:14):
Yeah, of course my website is bcpluraldesigncom,
and then you can find me, or youcan reach me via text or call
me anytime at 530-713-2240.
And you can just leave me amessage and I'll call you back
or shoot me a text.
Either one is very easy toreach.

Speaker 1 (10:35):
Perfect, that is DC Design.
And the great thing is again,no app.
You don't have to clip anycoupons.
We save you all that hassle, because I know it's a hassle.
You don't have to clip anycoupons, we save you all that
hassle, because I know it's ahassle.
All they do is, if they callyou at 530-713-2240 or even if
they go to DCFloralDesigncom, they just say hey, pat's Peeps,
her John, pat's Peeps.
That's all it takes, right.

Speaker 4 (10:55):
That's all it takes.
You won't have to say any more.

Speaker 1 (11:06):
Behind the scenes.
She does some of the calls, shedoes a lot of great PR, public
relations for us, reaches out tomany of you who are interested
in being a Pats Peeps businessand she's delightful, a total
sweetheart and extremelyprofessional.
Speaking of total sweethearts, this guy, danny Boy, I just
introduced you to.
I call him Danny Boy.
He's my friend, like I sayforever, since junior college.
We went to all through ButteCollege and Chico State together
.
Dan is a part of Pat's Peepspodcast as well, in the

(11:28):
background, red Hot MediaProductions and what Dan does,
what you do and tell us moreabout this.
Red Hot is if people becausepeople do need websites for
their businesses Danielle neededone.
People need these.
I needed one.
You built mine.
I can vouch for them how goodthe websites are.
We'll be showing that offtomorrow morning on tv.

Speaker 2 (11:47):
Like I said, um, but, dan, if people want a
well-maintained, um and and veryreasonably priced website, red
hot media productions is theplace right that is correct tell
us about it, man okay, so wewhat I did was um, when I

(12:11):
started red hot mediaproductions I don't know, geez
20 some years ago yeah um, I wasprimarily video because you
know, that was my backgroundback when we were in college.
That was, you know, we weredoing video and all that.
So I was doing a lot ofbroadcast ads and things like
that and I had some businessesthat I was doing commercials for
saying do you know anything?
about websites and I said, well, yeah, after my job at Silicon

(12:35):
Valley, we did a lot of onlinestuff and that was in the 90s,
when it was, you know, not quitelike it is today.
And so, yeah, I have somebackground in it, but, yeah,
pretty neat.
And so I started kind of doingwebsites for them and kind of
got into that side of things andas time progressed I started

(12:55):
doing less and less video andmore and more focusing on the
website.
And one of the things thatreally frustrated me with the
website business if you go toany website consulting firm and
you get a quote, it's going tobe astronomically high.
It's going to be $5,000, $6,000, $7,000, $8,000 to get a site

(13:19):
built.
And when you're sitting downwith a customer to have that
conversation and you startthrowing those kind of numbers
out, it gets very awkward anduncomfortable.
Because you know I'm passionateabout small businesses.
I don't want to be a strain onthe business, I want to help the
business.
So I looked at that and Ilooked at the other part of it
was oftentimes the websitecompany would build a site for a

(13:40):
business and then kind of handit off to the client and say,
here you go and eventually itwill get taxed because they're
not keeping up to date.
Or, you know, maybe they have ahost on GoDaddy or Bluehost or
something and they forget toupdate their credit card and it
fails and pretty certain thesite is coming.
There's multiple things thatcan happen.

Speaker 1 (13:58):
Sure sure.

Speaker 2 (14:00):
And so I was like we're going to have something
that's got reasonable price andmaintenance.
So I came up with a program andI call it BizSites, and I call
it BizSites and that BizSitesprogram has a setup fee of
$1,749 and then a monthlymaintenance fee of $99 a month,

(14:20):
and that $99 a month includesany content updates that the
client might want.
So I've literally done likedouble the size of a website in
the past over time, and itdoesn't cost them anything extra
, exactly.
There's no hidden charges.
There's none of that.
It's just.
It's straight up, straightstraight to the point.
And if you get a hold of me,you see I knocked $500 off that

(14:47):
setup fee yep, 12.49 instead of$1749.

Speaker 1 (14:53):
I mean that is such a great deal.
I mean, for anyone who needs tokeep within a budget, that is a
great deal.
So again, do you want them tocall you Danny?
Should I give you your number?
Do you want to give your numberhere Before you do that?
Here's what I love.
Here's another reason you'regoing to love my friend, dan,

(15:17):
number one.
I trust him so much much and hedoes such a great job.
I would not have had anyoneelse do my website.
Okay, but I love this.
Red hot media productions greatprice.
This is dan, great price, greatservice.
No bs, come on, no bs.
530-222-9898 here's what Iwould recommend you call 530-22,
.
Oh, two, two, two, nine, eight, nine, eight.
You get old to red hot mediaproductions Biz sites is the
name that Danny's was justtalking about.

(15:39):
Now, there's one of two wayswith Dan that you could do this.
You can go one way.
You can go hey, is this Dan?
Nap, is this Dan?
And you go yeah, heard aboutyour business on Pat's Peeps.
Or here's the second way Dan isone of the only people.
You have an alternative way.
Just go like this hey, is thisDanny Boy?
You call him Danny Boy andhe'll know right away that his

(16:03):
buddy of four decades, which ishard to believe, brother is that
you came from my site, from oursite, pat's Peeps, so say you
could say combine them.

Speaker 2 (16:16):
I have gotten those calls.
I said Danny Boy, and I knowright away.
Oh, this is coming from Pat,yeah right, that's right.

Speaker 1 (16:24):
We know each other, we are friends and I promise you
I trust no one in this businessmore than I do.
My friend, dan Knapp, danny Boy.
So again, red Hot MediaProductions is his business.
Biz Sites is where you want togo.
You'll get $500 special offerby just mentioning what we just
talked about.
So I want to say thank you, danand Danielle both of you for

(16:49):
the offers, for all of the helpthat you have put in to help
create the Pats Peeps community, the websites, danielle, for
everyone who you reach out towith your oh-so-pleasant
personality and professionalism.
I thank you both for that.
And we're going to get thisthing done and we're going to
get some great businesses andwe're going to give a lot of
people some great offers.

(17:10):
And you guys will be, as soonas we announce the date, it'll
be at the pats peeps gatheringat the california state fair cal
expo.

Speaker 2 (17:18):
Okay yes, sir, yeah if you will all right there you
go, dan ep, danielle collins.

Speaker 1 (17:27):
It is pats peeps, number 298.
Fantastic, yeah, I love it.
I love it.
I love the effort here thatwe're putting behind this and I
love the fact that you'relistening to Pat's Peeps 298.
Hi, I'm here to confuse you.
I'll be your host for a second.

(17:48):

So that was yesterday, on aWednesday.
Today it's a Thursday.
I might do another podcasttoday before I do my show.
Ladies and gentlemen, yourcall's very important to us.
Don't you hate it when you geta podcast and it's just a bunch

I've got a killer shirt.
You're going to love this shirt.
This is a XXL, so I think a guywould wear this one.
I don't know, it's that reallycool.
Gray, like PE, like you'd wearin PE class, that awesome old
school gray t-shirt.
I think it's a double XL.

(19:21):
You gotta see it.
It's got a pair of handcuffs.
It says make crime illegalagain.
That's right.
It's got the American flag onthe back.
It says Pat's Peeps On my showtonight.

Thanks to Gary Gelfand andScott Moak and everyone there at
Studio 40 Live, everyone formaking me feel right at home and

(20:25):
I could promote Pats Peeps, which I shall continue to do
right now.
My friends, oh, I love thisplace, love it.
This is a place that I go.
You'll hear, oh, listen to this.

(20:47):
This is awesome.
This is my little on hold musicfor you on Pats Peeps Hope you
enjoy this.
Pats Peeps 298.
Smooth, yeah Well, you know.
Most of you know that I'malways telling you.
I look out my studio windowsinto the beautiful foothills of
Northern California.
It's very relaxing.
But you know what, when I needto go somewhere else to relax, I

(21:09):
can always tell you and Ialways tell everyone.
This is I love.
One of the places that I loveto go to is Clarksburg.
I love the Delta.
One of the reasons that I loveClarksburg in particular is it
is right there on the Delta andthey have one of my favorite
places, which now is I am soproud of.
This is a Pat's Peeps businessand that is Miner's Leap Winery

(21:32):
in beautiful Clarksburg.
If you've not been there, Icould not recommend this any
higher.
My friend is Loyal Miner.
He is the guy that runs theplace.
Loyal is joining us here onPat's Peeps.
Loyal, it's so good to talk toyou, man.

Speaker 3 (21:48):
Pat, you're so kind, You're too kind to us, I'll tell
you.
But yeah, we've got a goodlineup for the Summer Under the
Stars this year and we also havesome country music too.
But thank you very much foryour kind words.

Speaker 1 (22:05):
I remember when I first came across Miner's Leap,
I said, well, look at this, there's a winery right here by
the beautiful river.
How nice is this?
It was a lovely day, so Istopped in there and I'll never
forget this.
I'm like, wait a second, look,Loyal does such an incredible
job of landscaping this place, and I tell you, you take pride

(22:25):
in a loyal and I'm like, look, how nicely landscaped this is.
And then he's got the rat pack.
I'm listening to Dean Martin.
I said, man, this place speaksto me.
And so at that point I justbecame a regular, I became one
of the wine club members atMiner's Leap.
I love your place.
We've done events out there, whether it's rib judging

(22:48):
contests, whether it's me goingout there and watching music on
the beautiful stage that you'veadded since I've got to know the
place.
So, with that in mind, let'stalk about, first of all, your
wine and your wine club, miner'sLeap.

Speaker 3 (23:01):
Yes, we do a number of different varietals at
Miner's Leap and we do have alot of very nice blends also.
I kind of pride myself intaking certain varietals and
putting them together and makingsome beautiful blends.
And we've got a wine clubcoming up here in just the next

(23:24):
week or two and we're going tobe serving a couple of new
bottles are Sab Blanc and also areally interesting wine called
Race Ipsa.
Now, any attorney that's aroundhere in California will know
what Race Ipsa is and it inessence is a speak for itself

(23:44):
type of wine and there's quite astory behind it, a legal story,
but I'm not going to bore youwith that.
But it seems to sell very wellto attorneys.

Speaker 1 (23:54):
Yeah, if I don't know , if any.
Can you, can you tell us what, what else you do for a living,
or you want to kind of keep thaton the on the down low?

Speaker 3 (24:02):
Yeah, you know what?
No, that's perfectly fine.
Uh, I'm also an attorneydowntown and, uh, have been so
for over 30 years now, from UCDavis, gotten involved in the
wine business and it's just kindof taken off.
I mean, it's been now Miner'sLeap has been around since 2008.
Before that it was SacramentoWine Works for a couple years

(24:26):
and has been just a labor oflove with the landscaping.
We took something that youwould kind of shake your head at
to do, something that is verynice.
And when you come out andthat's what we want you to do is
when you come out to minorsleep we want you to relax and
enjoy the rigors of the workweek, just kind of let things

(24:47):
loose.
And in addition to that, we wehave added a beautiful, like you
just said, a stage area whereyou can dance and listen to, to
all these bands that we have Iwas actually able to perform on
that stage one time with kittyo'neill as a co-worker of mine
at kfbk.

Speaker 1 (25:05):
We did some cheap trick up there.
It was awesome, man.
It was so fun, true.
You know, if you go out toMiner's Leap a friend of mine
and also a listener to my showand my Pat's Peeps podcast, nina
, works out there.
She's a sweetheart.
I think you guys are probablygoing to get a good deal on a
wine tasting If you go out andremember exclusive deals on

(25:27):
Pat's Peeps.
That's one of the things aboutbeing a Pat's Peeps member.
If you're listening to thispodcast right now, you go out
there, you tell Nina or whoeverhappens to be, or Loyal,
whomever it is hey, I heardabout you on Pat's Peeps.
I heard I can have a littletasting here.
That's what we're trying to do.
We are trying to drive you tolocal, giving you these

(25:48):
exclusive deals and all you haveto do.
No clip and coupons, loyal, none of that stuff.

Speaker 3 (25:53):

peeps, exactly, you're exactlyright for anybody that comes
down for pat's peeps.
We will certainly, uh, do aspecial deal for you on a
tasting, either a two for one.
And what I'd like you to do isyou got to mention my name,
loyal Miner, there you go.

(26:13):
And we'll get you taken care of.

Speaker 1 (26:17):
I just want to say I have been a wine club member
with Miner's Leap, I would sayat least a decade.

Speaker 3 (26:24):
It has been.
When you first came in Inoticed right away I said that's
Pal Balsh right there and loveyour show.
I mean your show in the eveningtime is absolutely fantastic
and have participated a fewtimes and called in.
But yeah, pat, you've been abig part of Minor Sleep and we
appreciate that very much.

Speaker 1 (26:45):
And you will never see a better sunset.
You know a lot of concertsbecause I go to a lot of
concerts.
Loyal Town with Loyal Minor.
Minor Sleep Winery inClarksburg.
I go a lot of concerts becauseI go to a lot of concerts Loyal
Minor Miner's Leap Winery inClarksburg.
I go to a lot of concerts.
Most concerts have a backdrop.
Right, a backdrop could bewhatever.
No need for that at Miner'sLeap, because what you see is
the most gorgeous backdrop youwill ever see, which is this

(27:07):
sunset.
It's the most perfect backdropever.

Speaker 3 (27:11):
Well, I think you described that very nicely, Pat,
and that you're absolutelyright.
We pride ourselves.
This sunset, especially ifthere's a few clouds in the sky,
is just absolutely amazing.
I mean, it is verythought-provoking and people
just love to go out there andwalk in the fields a little bit

(27:32):
and kind of check things out.
So it's something I'd love totake.
I'd love to say it's because ofme, it's because of the man
upstairs.
Man, he's making thesebeautiful sunsets for us and
we're very happy andappreciative of it.

Speaker 1 (27:47):
Tell us about some of the shows that you have coming
up.

Speaker 3 (27:50):
Yeah, thanks, pat.
Yeah, we do have some greatshows this summer.
One that's coming up in just acouple days is Inner Soul, and
they have a horn section.
Wonderful singers, dancers.

Speaker 1 (28:03):
If you have never seen Inner Soul, this weekend at
Miner's Leap, july the 12ththey're awesome, Loyal they
really are.

Speaker 3 (28:11):
That's great, Pat.
I didn't even know that you hadseen them before, so we've got
my.
One of my top groups is Boston.

Speaker 5 (28:18):
Me too.

Speaker 3 (28:19):
And they're called Don't Look Back.
And I'm going to tell you guys, these are the real deal.
Even though it's a tribute band, you're going to love that.
And that is on August 9th.
Going forward, we've got theBeatles Ticket to Ride.
Now everybody's got a Beatlesgroup, but these Ticket to Ride
are also the real deal and thatis on September 6th.

(28:41):
And then, probably my all-timefavorite is on October 4th and
it's called Midnight Flyers andit's a tribute to the Eagles,
and the Eagles are by far one ofmy favorite groups and these
guys are from the Bay Area and,in fact, one of my relatives
plays for them and they aregreat.
And that's on October 4th.

(29:02):
And, pat, you mentionedsomething that we've just
started two years ago and I'dlike to take advantage of it,
but it's not my deal.
But her name is Randy and shebrings in Sack Song and Wine,
which is the songwriters fromNashville.

(29:22):
If you want more information onthat, you certainly can call.
But we've got four more shows.
We've got August 15th,september 19th and October 10th.
You can certainly go to ourwebsite, minorseepcom.
There's a full list of all ofthe concerts that we have coming
up that we just talked about.

Speaker 1 (29:41):
Yeah, I'm going to go to my calendar and on August
9th, I guarantee you I will beat.
Don't Look Back.

Speaker 3 (29:47):
We'd love to have you come out, pat, and maybe
announce they're probably ourbest show of the year, boston.
I mean.
How many of us when we weregrowing up in the mid 70s and
80s listen to more than afeeling oh sure the music and
the sound is just absolutelyamazing and they're very excited

(30:07):
to be out here and we're veryexcited to have loyal miner.
Tell everyone where you'relocated uh, minor sleep is
located in the delta 54250 southriver road.
We, literally from our tastingroom, can throw a rock and hit
the river.

Speaker 1 (30:22):
So we're at the start of the delta and we do that
once we start drinking wine toowe'll get out there.

Speaker 3 (30:30):
and absolutely, pat, I appreciate you calling us and
going through this.
It's great and I can't wait tosee you again at one of these
concerts.
I really can't.

Speaker 1 (30:42):
Thank you for being a Pat's Peeps and thanks for
saying that.
Thanks for treating mylisteners with such nice
exclusive offers and Iappreciate it very much.

Speaker 3 (30:50):
Not a problem, Go Pat Peeps.

Speaker 1 (30:53):
Go Loyal Miner.
Miner's Leap Winery inClarksburg.
Thanks, Loyal.

Speaker 3 (30:57):
Thank you, pat, I appreciate it.

Speaker 1 (31:00):
Thank you for listening to this special
edition of Pat's Peeps.
298.
Support local business.
Yeah, we got it, Pat.
Thank you very much forlistening.
I greatly appreciate that.
As we continue on, he workswith my brother, don't you know

(31:26):
that would be Dave Donsing.
And as we continue along hereon this special edition of the
Pat's Peeps podcast, this isnumber 298.
I'm very proud to talk to DaveDonsing, who is part of AI
Lending, and AI Lending is ownedand operated by my little
brother, Timothy, who has beenso successful.
I'm so proud of him.

(31:47):
Dave, how are you?
It's a pleasure to have you onmy Pat's Peeps podcast.

Speaker 5 (31:51):
Hey, thanks a lot, Pat.
Yeah, tim and I go backprobably 35 plus years in the
mortgage business, so he's doinga great job with AI Lending 35
or 40 years, you guys go back.

Speaker 1 (32:03):
You know my brother.
Like I say, he's got anexcellent track record.
I love about both of you isyour passion for people and the
fact that you know what you wantto give people a break.
And that's what we're all aboutat Pat's Peeps supporting the
local businesses.
But giving people somethingthat is extra by simply saying
you know what I heard about youon the Pat's Peeps podcast makes

(32:24):
it an exclusive thing with nocoupons.
I'd say that all the time nocoupons, no app.
If you would just sort of talkabout AI lending.

Speaker 5 (32:32):
Yeah, no, I appreciate it.
Ai lending was formed by one ofmy other business partners,
bill Massey, and your brother, tim Walsh, and we're basically a
large broker, a large lender.
We have some mortgage bankingplatforms and we have about 200
different lenders that we'reapproved with so we can help
people with any sort of lendingsituation to buy a home, even

(32:55):
some commercial stuff.
What we're doing right now forall our customers that mentioned
TAPS Peeps all you got to do,like you say, is mention it and
we will reimburse your appraisalupon funding.
So that can be $500, $600, $700value potentially.
If your loan closes, we willreimburse you that closing.
So we're looking forward tohelping past peeps and anyone

(33:18):
looking for a loan to purchaseor refinance, and we do HELOC so
you can access equity et cetera.
Anything that you need.
Just give me a call and I'llwalk you through it.

Speaker 1 (33:29):
Trust my brother.
It kind of runs in the familythat we care about businesses,
we care about people, we careabout families, as does Dave.
We were just actually talkingabout going to a concert here
together, coming up at Cal Expo,at the State Fair, where we're
going to have a Pats Peepsgathering, which I'm really
looking forward to.
Also, one of the things I wantto talk about is no one else

(33:49):
does this, dave, for the first100 mortgages, we're going to
pull a name from a hat andsomeone's going to get a trip
with Conservative Tours, ourPats Peeps group, which travels
to Italy.
We're going to Sicily this fall.
We've been to Ireland andFrance and Austria and Germany,
so that's another component tothis thing that we're putting
together at Pats Peeps.

Speaker 5 (34:07):
Yeah, Tim made a commitment to 100 folks that
fund a loan through AI lendingthat they would be entered into
a drawing and would be paid forby AI lending so that they could
attend your trip.
So we're looking forward toconducting that.
So, as loans fund, you getentered into it and you have a

(34:27):
pretty good chance of winning apretty valuable trip.
So we're looking forward tothat.
But in terms of the advantagesof working with AI Lending, I've
been in the lending business Ihate to say it this long, but
since 1989.
I know.
So you know, we definitely knowwe have a collective experience
of over 100 years between thetop three guys here.
We know what we're doing.

(34:48):
Things change but we learn andstay on top of it.
So we just want to get ourclients the best possible loans.
We toughen, tailor a loan toyour situation and we have the
experience to navigate thattricky water sometimes just to
get you approved, Even if youhave less than perfect income
situations.
We can utilize bank statements,we can look at tax returns,

(35:10):
W-2s, et cetera.
But there's other ways to getqualified.
So just all you ever got to dois give me a call and I'll walk
you through it Just real quick,Dave Donsing.

Speaker 1 (35:19):
we're talking to Dave Donsing, who works with my
brother, Tim Walsh, AI Lending.
You do commercial as well.
Talk about that.

Speaker 5 (35:26):
You know, if you have a property you're looking to
buy like a five, six, seven unitproperty, a strip mall, things
like that we can facilitatepurchases like that, not just
strictly residential.
We also do reverse mortgages.
So if you're 62 years old orover, you're eligible for a
reverse mortgage, which is agreat program.

(35:46):
If you're equity rich and cashpoor, it allows you to not have
to make a mortgage payment, soit certainly frees up cash for a
senior that might be struggling.
So we do all of those types ofloans, we do HELOCs.
A lot of people have lowinterest rates from the last
several years where we had two, three, 4% rates, so they're not
wanting to touch those loans.

(36:07):
But they've gained a lot ofequity along the line, and so
the HELOC Home Equity Line ofCredit is a way to tap into that
.
For doing anything homeimprovements around the house,
debt consolidation, saving moneyby paying off all that debt,
realigning it against yourproperty and taking certain tax

(36:28):
advantages of doing that there'sa lot of things that we can do.
So if you have any kind ofquestions regarding that, feel
free to give us a call.

Speaker 1 (36:33):
Dave, what is my phone number is?

Speaker 5 (36:35):
562-619-1159, 562-619-1159.
And I'm born and raised inSacramento.
My family's been here since1917.
So we know the area and I didlive in Southern California for

(36:57):
a little while.
So that's the 562 area code, but you can text that number,
text me to that number or call.

Speaker 1 (37:04):
Very good, and you have a website as well.

Speaker 5 (37:06):
AILendingcom.
My email address is Dave atAILendingcom.

Speaker 1 (37:13):
Dave Don Singh, you're a good man, longtime
Sacramento and I appreciate whatyou're doing for our Pats Peeps
family.
And say hi to my brother.
For me, Would you do that.

Speaker 5 (37:23):

I appreciate it very much, Pat.
You have a great day.
Thank you, brother.

Speaker 1 (37:28):
Thank you Pats Peeps shoppers.
We appreciate your loyalty.
That was Dave Donsing, as youheard from my brother's business
, ai Lending, by the way.
Again, just a reminder, I amthe host of the Pat Wall Show.
You are listening to Pat'sPeeves, episode 298, which is
one day late, and tonight on myThursday night show, I have

(37:51):
these killer shirts coming out.
I have more than just this shirt, but I really like this one.
I'm from California.
You'll get this.
This is a nice.
This is an exquisite PE Gray.
I love that color.
I don't know if it's officiallycalled PE Gray, but in my mind
he's wearing those sweats likethose sweatshorts or pants.
Be PE Gray.

(38:11):
Make crime illegal again.
It's got a nice pair ofhandcuffs on the cover there.
It's got an American flag onthe back which is proudly saying
God bless America.
Well, it doesn't say that, butit's got that American flag.
You get it.
It says Pat's Peeps.
Right there we say God blessAmerica.
Thank you for listening to myspecial edition, number 298.

(38:33):
I got to thinking about this hattoo.
I wore this hat on Fox 40Studio Live this morning and I'm
thinking this is the first everPat's Peeps hat.
I might have to give this awaytoo, if you don't mind a hat
that was worn for I don't knowfive minutes.
Anyhow, if you can name on myshow tonight any of the

(38:57):
businesses that we're talkingabout today, I'll give the hat
away to why not?
Yes, it's a Thursday, hey, now,oh, you know, I was thinking
about all these businesses, ourlittle gathering.
We're going to have Our littlePats Peeps gathering.

(39:18):
It's going to be awesome At theState Fair and that'll be
either July 22nd, 23rd or 24th,we don't know yet.
Continuing on with Pats Peeps298, with Olympia Hossler and

(39:39):
continuing on our specialedition.
I'm having a great timeintroducing all of you to these
local businesses that are Pat'sPeeps businesses, and I'm super
excited to introduce to youright now Olympia Hosler, one of
our Pat's Peeps businesses, whois with Remax Crossroads in
Olympia.
Thank you for being part of mypodcast today.

Speaker 6 (40:00):
I'm so excited to be here.
Thank you, Pat.

Speaker 1 (40:03):
Oh see, this is the kind of passion that I love, and
Olympia and I have got to knoweach other over the last I don't
know year, year and a half, andnow she's kind of working with
my brother, tim, at AI Lending.
But you guys do two verydifferent things.
Olympia, you are with RemaxCrossroads and you'll find her

(40:23):
and her website and everything, all the information, all the
pertinent information, atpatspeepscom, if you just go to
the Pats Peeps mall.
And so, olympia, tell us alittle bit about your business,
remax Crossroads.

Speaker 6 (40:34):
I am a real estate broker, so I assist buyers and
sellers and investors wheneverthey are buying real estate,
whether that be residential, single family homes, condos,
their land, or maybe it's acommercial project.
So they are, you know, anoffice or multifamily units,

(40:55):
airbnb, short term rentals, allof those types of things.

Speaker 1 (40:58):
And you have a great reputation in this business,
Olympia Gibbous.
I mean, you've been doing thisfor a long time.

Speaker 6 (41:04):
So I have been in real estate for 24 years and
I've been a broker in Californiaall of that time.
In addition, I was a realestate broker in New York and
New Jersey.
I had a joint venturepartnership with CBS television
in New York to create anentirely new real estate market

(41:25):
for the city of New York and weproduced the first real estate
television show, but it was onlyto the New York market, so
everybody else didn't see it.

Speaker 1 (41:34):
You're kind of working with my brother, tim, at
AI Lending right now.

Speaker 6 (41:37):
We have already started working together.
We have a great rapport andwhenever anybody needs to buy
real estate or refinance a loan,he and I work very closely
together.
Because a buyer needs to have avery experienced lender that
knows all the ropes there to getthe best interest rate, the
best terms on their loan.

(41:57):
And then they also need me as areal estate broker to help them
find the place that they wantto invest in or find the home
that they want to live in, andthat's a specialty in and of
itself.
So when we work together, thepeople out there in Pat's Peeps
land get better served, becausewe have a great relationship, a

(42:17):
teamwork, and then we're alltogether working for the best
interest of the client.

Speaker 1 (42:22):
I love that.
Why get a good deal when youcan have the best deal with
Olympia, who is just anoutstanding individual too?
It's been really great to getto know you, olympia, just as a
person.
By the way, if you go to Pat'sPeeps right now and you say to
Olympia, you know Olympia.
I heard you on the show onPat's Peeps, so again, those are
the magic words Pat's Peeps, you're going to get a free

(42:44):
estimate of your home's value.
You get a free evaluation ofhow much you qualify for a loan.
That's what you're going to dothere.
Exclusive offer from Pat'sPeeps at Remax Crossroads.

Speaker 6 (42:54):
That's right, and we will also offer part of our
commission as a re-debt back tothe buyer or seller.
Do what now?
I know?
I know we will offer part ofour real estate commission back
to a buyer or seller, dependingon who we're representing.

Speaker 1 (43:13):
You call Olympia also yourself and you say I heard
you on Pat's Peeps on thepodcast.
You sound like someone that Itrust.
I trust Pat, I trust hisbrother, I trust you, Olympia,
Please go ahead and give themyour number if they want to get
in touch with you.

Speaker 6 (43:28):
Absolutely.
You can reach me on my directcell phone is 917-288-7477.
917-288-7477.

Speaker 1 (43:41):
I am so proud to represent you, Olympia.

Speaker 6 (43:44):
And I thank you.
I can't wait to even elevateour experience more and help
more people in the greaterSacramento area.
And let's rock and roll.
I'm ready to go.

Speaker 1 (43:55):
Yeah, I can't wait to see you at our Patch Peeps
gathering at the State Faircoming up this month.
Olympia Hostler, thank you, andcheck her out for yourself.
Thank you for listening.
It's Pat's Peeps 298.
Thank you, my friends.
You know, as I'm thinking aboutgiving away that Pat's Peeps hat

(44:15):
on tonight's show, if you cantell us any of the businesses
that we're talking about here,I'm thinking that thing's got to
be worth it.
I mean it's the first one.
I mean, imagine that, even morethan the shirt, in terms of
value, I mean you take thatsucker to an antique road show
in a couple years down the road.
That original Pats Peeps hat, Imean that is sure to fetch

(44:38):
upwards of.
I mean I don't want tospeculate, in fact I probably
shouldn't, but I'm just sayingall you got to do is call my
show tonight.
You say, hey, I heard thisbusiness on here, pat's Peeps,
number 298.
Hey, happy Thursday to you, myfriends.
Yes, ah, so relaxed andcontinuing Thursday to you, my

(45:04):
friends.
Yes, so relaxed and continuingon.
Bets Peeps 298, special edition, as we celebrate and we support
local businesses.
Look who's joining us, ladiesand gentlemen Melissa Moon from
Moon Healing in Auburn.
Melissa, how are you?
It's so nice to talk to you, myfriend.

Speaker 6 (45:21):
I'm so good I'm coming down from a really fun
4th of July weekend and justenjoying this break in the
weather.
It's been a great summer.

Speaker 1 (45:30):
This is like the best year weather-wise that I can
remember in forever.
The spring was great, thesummer's wonderful.
I want to credit you, melissaand Moon Healing.
If you've not heard of Melissa, she has this beautiful office
there in Auburn and I love thetown of Auburn.
It's very relaxed.
In my experience, I wentthrough this with Melissa.

(45:52):
She did.
I don't want to call ittreatment, I'll let you call it
whatever you will, but I wentthrough this process with
Melissa.
It is unbelievable how ithelped me.
One thing that really standsout for me is to be able to open
up my mind a little bit andgive some space, to allow things
that perhaps might be kind ofnegative to kind of give it
space and let it kind of floatthrough there.

(46:13):
I don't know how to explain it.
All I know is that the conceptreally made a huge change in my
life and I want to say thank youbecause it helped to alleviate
stress and some other thingslike that.

Speaker 6 (46:24):
Absolutely, and you know, I really appreciate
hearing that feedback from youbecause it's about creating real
life skills.
Like we move through life, wehave experiences, we have trials
and tribulations, we have joysand exaltations, and it's like
how are we riding the waves in away that feels really good in
our bodies and really good inour life?

(46:46):
And what we do is embodiment AtMoon Healing.
It's about embodiment and whatI call it is care, because when
you walk into the studio it'slike walking into home, there's
a sense of relaxing and beingable to just kind of like let
your shoulders drop and then youknow you're going to be just
like welcomed, exactly as youare.
You know, and sometimes somepeople don't get any physical

(47:08):
contact and like that hug is thefirst hug of the day of the
week, and so creating real humanconnection is such a
foundational piece for whatwe're doing in the studio.
On top of what you're saying.
It's like you were able to, youknow, shift your perception of
how you were seeing things inlife and then how you get to
choose either if you're going torespond or react to situations,

(47:33):
relationships, um, you know, day to day chores, routines, and
it's like, hey, can I see thisin a different way and we do
that with body based techniquesthat address the stress and
tension patterns.
Like our body holds a stressand tension pattern and it's
like, okay, is that working forme what we're doing with this

(47:53):
work?
It's called ELAN.
Elan stands for ExtraordinaryLiving Through Advanced
Neurology.
It's about rewiring the nervoussystem for more ease, for more
flow, for more freedom.
So then when our structurestarts to change, the way we see
life starts to change.
So what you shared is exactlywhat we're doing.
And you know it's like howgreat would life be if, in six

(48:17):
weeks, you dropped I don't knowstress by 20%.
And that's what we see onaverage with practice members.
It's like about a 20% drop andthat's life-changing.

Speaker 1 (48:28):
It is so life-changing talking with
Melissa Moon from Moon Studio, moon Healing in Auburn, and you
know, sometimes we let life getto us.
You know where you're rollingalong.
Things can be stressful.
Something pops up, you knowlike and it kind of in my
estimation, it's kind of how youreact to a situation and
sometimes when you're reactingto the situation, it's not

(48:51):
helping, because you know if youget angry or you know you're
really stressing about it,sometimes you can't help the
stress.
But if you're also gettingangry and you're reacting to it
that way, you're not doingyourself, you're actually doing
yourself a disservice becausethat can cause a lot of
stressful things in your lifeand in your health.
And then when I'm done I go whydid I do that?
It didn't help.

Speaker 6 (49:10):
Yeah, and I think what you're speaking to is the
fact that we have lifeexperiences and sometimes and
most times, as humans we'rereally good at loading that
information.
So most of us are really good atjust stuffing the stress down.
And when we stuff things forlong enough, at some point we
just run out of room.
And then, when we run out ofroom, everything is hard, our

(49:31):
bodies hurt, our life hurts andit just isn't the effective way
to live life and it's like dangcan something give.
And so when we're teaching thebody that, yes, something can
give and we can teach the systemto move through these
energetics, this information, this, whatever you want to call
it life's experiences, for ageneral sense of flow, like wow,

(49:53):
that came into my world.
It doesn't have to live in mybody.
I can learn, grow and evolvefrom it and also be a better
human, because I'm not onlytaking care of myself, but I'm
taking care of the situation orthose around me with just more
love and compassion.
And when we do that, we createa ripple effect of wellness, not

(50:13):
only internally but in ourcommunity.

Speaker 1 (50:16):
I love that.
It is good for the heart, themind, the soul.
At least I can tell you that itwas for me.
I can attest to that.
I feel very relaxed here andyou have these rooms where
people can lay down in the roomif they want to kind of
de-stress, or whatever you wantto call that.
Tell us about these littlerooms that you have too.

Speaker 6 (50:34):
Oh man, these are a practice member favorite.
So if you're in care with me,you are a practice member
favorite.
So if you're in care with me,you are a practice member.
And so my practice members lovethe cocoon rooms.
So it's an old house, built, you know, in the early 1900s,
and so it has these dormerspaces with these beautiful
natural wood rooms and it's justlike you go into them and it's
just you're being held as likein a cocoon and I have red light

(50:58):
in there to support cellularhealth and nervous system
relaxation and regulation.
And then also these bio matswith amethyst crystal far
infrared technology and just itcreates this space for you to go
and take those deep breaths, let things integrate and just
relax.
So many of us don't just feellike we have that space to relax

(51:19):
and let go.

Speaker 1 (51:20):
You still have that wonderful healing water.

Speaker 6 (51:23):
Oh, absolutely Part of care is definitely Kangen
water.
I am putting it through somespecial filtration on top of
active, like activating thewater for hydrogen molecules,
for it's structured water.
So what we put into our bodymatters, and so if we're putting
junk in, what do we expect outof our bodies?

(51:43):
So clean water, especially fora properly working nervous
system, that's foundationalhealth.
Clean water, good food, bodyand breath techniques so that
you feel like you have theenergy and you have the energy
to make healthier choices as youmove through your day.
So yeah, the Kangen water isdefinitely a part of care and

(52:05):
it's for my practice members aswell, so everyone can come in
and fill up and take what theyneed.

I know that was a littledifferent, but really what we're
really trying to do, as Ialways tell you, is we are

(53:35):
trying to support local business.
That's what the podcast youknow I don't get bogged down in
the podcast with that too oftenI say you know I say bogged down
, I'm talking about.
You know it's not in everypodcast, but I try to.
You know, just have a littlefun with a podcast, but I just

(53:56):
want you to know what we are allabout and that is supporting
the local businesses and givingyou a great way to save money.
So everyone's looking to dothat.
So I was inspired to.
I didn't pull a record off myrecord shelf but it made me
think of this song here, inspired by everyone, and

(54:17):

We are looking for newbusinesses all the time.
If you're listening and you'resaving money with Pat's Peeps
and saying Pat's Peeps, pleasetell your friends.
Please do that.
It means so much to all of us.
Without it, I don't know.
I mean, I don't know what willhappen, but it inspired me to

(54:39):
play this.
It's a song written by WilbertHarrison Wilbert Harrison.
It was a hit both for WilbertHarrison and this group, who
covered this song and releasedit as a single in December of
1969.
Went to number 32 on theBillboard Hot 100 singles chart.

(55:00):
It was featured on their 1970album Future Blues.
This song was based onHarrison's 1962 song let's Stick
Together, which was covered byBrian Ferry in 1976.
It is part, by the way, of themovie the soundtrack, tim
Burton's movie Big Fish.

(55:21):
I always liked this one.
It means a lot to me and it'srelevant to what we're talking
about today.
It's canned heat.
It's let's Work Together.
Thanks for listening to Pat'sPeeps 298.
