Speaker 1 (00:17):
Welcome my friends to
the Pats Peeps podcast number
311,.
My friends, so happy youdecided to come back and check
out yet another episode.
Another peep Greatly appreciateit.
I'll continue to tell you that.
I'll always tell you that youspend any part of the day
listening to my podcast, thankyou, or my radio show.
(00:41):
By the way, I am the host ofthe Pats Peeps podcast and the
appropriately named Pat WallShow on radio KFPK 1530 AM, 93.1
FM, and streaming everywhere onyour free iHeart app.
Looking out my studio windowtoday.
Friends, today's a Tuesday.
(01:01):
It's the fifth day of August2025.
I did something today.
I haven't done for a while.
More on that.
Today's a Tuesday, it's thefifth day of August 2025.
I did something today.
I haven't done for a while.
More on that in just a moment, but it's warm.
Today I decided I hadn't donethis in a while.
But I decided, you know what, because I'm so busy in my life,
I need to get out and I need tohave a walk.
(01:25):
And I, again, I haven't done apodcast from the road in a while
, but I did today.
You know, as they say, twobirds, one stone.
All right here on Pat's Peeps311,.
As I said, now I am out walking.
You know it has been remarkablethe summer.
Remarkable that, uh, it hasjust been so mild.
(01:47):
What a special year a year thishas been.
We've been so blessed incalifornia.
I know I talk about it all thetime, but I've lived in
california for a majority of mylife, with the exception of I
don't know what four years inoregon, where it seemed to rain
all the time and it's justabsolutely gorgeous.
I don't know what thetemperature is, but it can't be
(02:09):
more than maybe the upper 80s.
Boy, california is such awonderful place to live.
I mean it's just too bad thatthe people that are elected in
office in this state just try toruin it, because this is a very
special state.
You know it's been a long timesince I've been out here walking
(02:31):
and I know I started the yearby saying listen, we all need to
keep to our New Year'sresolutions.
One of my New Year's resolutionswas to get out here and do
aerobics more often.
I can remember vividly sayingthat on one of my earlier
podcasts.
You know, and as we say all thetime, and it's no excuse, but
(02:59):
life gets in the way, but thefact is that's a lame excuse in
a way, but the fact is that's alame excuse.
I have been doing other thingsto the best of my ability to
stay in shape, such as workingout a little bit of weights,
push-ups, sit-ups, things likethat.
(03:20):
It always feels so good whenyou do it, it's wonderful.
It's one of those things, youknow, exercise to me.
I don't know about you, I guessit's my pattern of the way it
seems to go.
But okay, I'm getting ready togo into the train truss.
Oh, a nice T-Bird Powder BlueT-Bird.
(03:41):
It's one of those newer ones, like from the watch say newer,
what years do those come out?
Like the 80s, maybe the 90s,remember those newer t-birds
came out.
So I'm going through the traintrestle right now and, uh, so
yeah, I, it's not like I haven'tbeen working out, it's just
(04:05):
that I have been neglecting theaerobics aspect of it.
So, quite frankly, I'm nervousto be out here Because I don't
know how I'm going to do.
It's a little scary, man.
You've got to keep the aerobicsup.
You've got to get that heartpumping.
Got to keep the aerobics up,you got to get that heart
(04:29):
pumping.
You know, and I quite franklythink about all the people, all
the friends and family membersI've lost already and here I am
lucky enough to enjoy the dayyou know to be really void of
any kind of terrible injuries oranything.
My knees are good.
(04:51):
My hips I feel fantastic.
I just know I've got to get theheart pumping.
That's what I'm out here doing.
We'll see how it goes.
I'm going to stopintermittently here, just kind
(05:12):
of look around, if anything.
Just give myself a little bitof a breather as I'm trying to
talk.
I shied away from doing thepodcasts for a minute there when
I was doing this before.
Not so much shied away, I hadsomeone call my show and they
(05:38):
said man, I love your podcastand I thought that is so nice.
Now people call my show all thetime.
Like last night Greg called myshow and he said he listened to
like I don't know hi, greg, ifyou're out there listening right
now, but you guys mean a wholelot to me.
I think he said he listened tolike you know, binge listened to
(05:59):
306, 307, 308, something likethat Made comments about Black
Rifle at my interview there.
Oh, here comes the T-Bird again.
They must have dropped someoneoff.
But I remember, because Ilisten to you guys, I pay
attention, those of you who havegiven me any feedback which is
always, by the way, positive, never negative.
(06:20):
I always take that and I listento you.
And someone said you know Ilove your podcast.
I like a little bit better whenyou're not there doing the walk,
because you know you get alittle bit out of breath and
you're trying to talk.
I know, I know, but you knowwhat that whole life gets in the
way type of thing.
You know it's.
(06:42):
Sometimes you just have to fiteverything into a day and this
is one way I can do.
It is by getting my workout inis by doing my podcast at the
same time today.
So one of the things I did Igot to tell you is Saturday
(07:03):
night.
Now this has been going on, Idon't know, maybe well, let's
see my son passed away in MarchJune.
I mean God, I can't evenbelieve.
It's been like seven monthssince we've been doing this, but
back together with a band I waswith several years ago.
(07:30):
You know, I think this is Imean several years, I think it's
probably going back to 2012 orsomething like that, and we were
getting pretty tight.
You know a rock band, we rockman.
You know a rock band, we rock, man, we play a lot of love
ballads, and so then I was inanother band.
I was in another band, two orthree bands, and you know the
(07:58):
last one I was in it happenedduring a pandemic.
And so, hi there, everyonedriving by this morning,
everyone waves.
I love that.
But during a pandemic, when alot of and you can understand
this a lot of the wives, themother-husbands, you know,
(08:19):
playing in the band andpracticing, because back then
there was social distancing andthe COVID and all that.
So I got a call or a text oneday from a former bandmate,
going back to a different bandand not the one that broke up
with COVID, but prior to that.
So, hey, you know, we'rehanging out, jamming Boy, we'd
(08:40):
sure love to have you if youcould come and maybe hang with
us, maybe sing some songs orwhat have you.
So I went down there one nighton a Saturday night, down to
Sacramento, and I got to tellyou we had a great session.
The only criticism I was askedis that there was too much
(09:04):
jamming going on in betweensongs.
But I think at that point, firsttime out, we were just kind of
finding our way, and themusicians in the band.
By the way, I'm the singer, notthe musician, which is I guess
that's still a musician right,I'm the vocalist.
You know, we didn't really havea set list put together and now
(09:29):
we do.
They asked me a couple ofpractices to go.
Hey, pat, here's what weBecause I'm kind of humble and I
don't try to oppose myself orimpose my will on anyone except
my own show, that is, is that'sgot to be my way.
But let's say hey, we, uh,would love for you.
(09:52):
I'm gonna stop over here for asecond rest in the shade because
it's get a little warm, eventhough it's nice out walking
uphill.
Let me feel how my heart andeverything feels.
I'm doing the Nike app rightnow and it tells you pausing
(10:12):
workout, restoring workout.
Anyhow, that's a pretty niceapp, resuming workout she should
say Pausing workout.
If you even move slightly,it'll do that.
So, as things progressed, assoon as they asked me or
(10:35):
indicated to me that theythought it would be a good idea
for me to sort of lead the bandin terms of picking music,
getting a set list together andall that stuff, that's when, as
they say, they took the bull bythe horns.
I took that as an opportunitybecause I as the singer and we
(10:55):
as a band, we need to have thatstructure.
You know, we can't just I'm notjust going to stand there and
let them freeform jam for a halfhour while I'm standing in the
background, not singing, notknowing what song we're going to
stand there and let themfree-form jam for a half hour
while I'm standing in thebackground, not singing, not
knowing what song we're going todo.
So we now have a set list ofabout 25 songs.
So this Saturday I went downthere, my brother Steve joined
me.
My brother Steve is a drummerand a percussionist and we had
(11:23):
just the best session with ourset list.
I mean, fellas, ladies andgentlemen, I don't want to brag,
but we freaking knocked it outof the park.
It was unbelievable and it wasnice to have my brother there
(11:45):
playing the percussion.
He even did a little bit ofbackground vocals and it was
just really an amazing thing.
And some of the songs that wewere doing heck, we were just
doing them off the cuff, youknow we thought, oh, let's, I
(12:05):
wonder if we could add this one.
We'd start playing it on mywhole, like God.
This happens to be one of myfavorites, you know Black
Sabbath Symptom of the Universe.
I say we're rocking hard rock.
Man, this is no, this isn't,like I said, love ballads.
So we did that.
(12:26):
Oh, we tore it, it up.
And the song Stevie by PatTravers.
We're doing that one and thatsong reminds me of my brother
Steve, so to have him therewhile I was singing that song
gave me a lot more inspirationand I usually have pretty
inspired, but, daddy, that gaveme even more inspiration and so
it really went well.
(12:49):
If you're wondering what kind ofrock are you doing, you've got
to understand we're album rock, older dudes with freaking albums
, ufo shoot, shoot, cracker manby Stone Temple Pilots.
You know what we're doing.
We're doing the song bySugarloaf Green-Eyed Lady,
(13:09):
except we're doing it PatTravers style.
I love that song.
So we're actually doing acouple of Pat Travers.
We're doing Nazareth, hair ofthe Dog.
Oh God, we have so many goodsongs.
So, yeah, it's going extremelywell.
I'm hoping that in the nearfuture, if we get good enough,
(13:32):
who knows, maybe we cancelebrate the 12th anniversary
of my radio show with some kindof a gathering Pat Wall Show,
pat's Peeps Gathering andcelebrate and have the band play
live.
I just think that would bephenomenal.
(13:52):
You get such a charge out ofsinging with a band.
There's nothing like it.
And when you hear the band andthey're cranking and it just
sounded so good, you know I stopand I'll close my eyes for a
minute in between lyrics andbetween verses and I'm just
thinking like, wow, listen tothis, like listen to this band,
(14:17):
and I get to see I'm the singerman.
It puts a charge into me.
So what we do?
Rock Bottom by UFO, the guitaron that was so good last week.
I Need to Know Tom Petty, theHeartbreaker, so many others.
I'm up here by the post office.
I better get out of the way ofthis big truck.
(14:38):
You'll hear it come by.
There you go.
I don't have my keys with me.
To the PO box.
Some motorcycles, and that's adifferent topic.
(15:02):
I don't know what's going onwith the Real ID, but I have yet
to get my driver's license.
I renewed my driver's licenseon May 6th.
Today's August 5th we're a dayaway from being three months.
I have yet to get my driver'slicense.
I tried calling DMV Wouldn't gothrough.
(15:25):
I tried logging on to DMV, Icouldn't find any reason.
Maybe it was my error that Icouldn't figure it out, but
nonetheless I jumped to all thehoops, I did everything that was
required of me to obtain mydriver's license, renew it on
(15:46):
the 6th and again, still havenot received that.
So I don't know if anyone elseis dealing with that.
I started to wonder why, whatthe heck's going on, and I'm
starting to wonder if perhapsyou know, when you go to the Bay
Area it used to be you paidwhen you go through a toll
(16:06):
bridge.
Well, I remember I wasn'texpecting the fact, because I
don't go down there that often.
I went down there this pastweekend, but I don't go that
often and I think I remembercatching me off guard that it
was a fast track or whateverthey call that, where you just
drive through and it just clockstrack or whatever they call
that, where you just drivethrough and it just clocks you
(16:27):
or whatever, and you're supposedto have to pay with a card or
what have you.
However, that works.
I think I might have one ofthose that I didn't even realize
I had and that man it's notpaid.
So I need to look into that.
I'm sure they've doubled ortripled the fine now, but I just
(16:48):
kind of forgot about that.
I don't know if that hasanything to do with not getting
the driver's license, but I amcurious if anyone else is seeing
a delay in getting their newdriver's license or Real ID, or
if anyone has any information onyou know if you have some kind
of traffic outstanding ticket orfee or something, if that's
(17:11):
going to prevent you fromgetting your driver's license.
So, anyhow, just a thought asI'm walking along, you know, I
think I'll pay it.
I'm doing pretty good right nowon my walk.
Speaking to that, now, granted,I'm not running because I'm
trying to talk.
Granted, only part of this isgoing uphill Some of it's level.
So it's not like I'm sittinghere thinking I'm achieving
(17:33):
anything big and spectacular.
However, in my mind it is big,it is spectacular because I am
out here doing this.
I'm now going to try to addthis component, the more aerobic
component, to my routine andcertainly that'll keep your
(17:53):
blood pressure down.
It'll keep your you know yourheart rate up and keep your
heart rate pumping.
And I don't want to keep myheart rate up, but I'm saying
strong.
I should say not keep it up,but keep it strong and also get
those endorphins kicked in.
Give you peace of mind.
(18:14):
Let you know that.
Hey, it's not as bad as youthought, just like the sit-ups,
not as bad as you thought, andit's a great feeling once you do
it.
Plus, I'm trying to incorporatemore salad into my diet.
I've been doing great Saladfruits, things like that.
Anyhow, enough of that.
I'm just talking here on PatsPeeps 311.
(18:35):
Trying to enjoy a Tuesdayafternoon with you.
I thank you for that.
Scott Robinson will be joiningme on the show tonight.
As he does on most Tuesdaynights, scott fills in for me,
guest host when I'm on vacation, and we were planning on doing a
show tonight where BruceCampbell, bc, was also going to
(18:56):
be in studio and we were goingto do like a three-part hosting
of my show, part hosting of myshow.
However, as it turns out, bcwill not be able to make it as
he has other plans here thisevening.
So we'll do that another night, but Scott will be in tonight.
So let's see anything else.
(19:19):
Anything else on the horizonhere, anything I need to think
about.
Well, I'll tell you what.
I'm going to wrap it up from mylittle walk, a little walk and
talk on a Tuesday.
I know, eileen, you came upwith that one she does a walk
(19:41):
and talk too.
A little podcast, it's great, takes you downtown and all that.
But anyhow, thank you toeveryone as we continue on On
this Tuesday on Pat's Peeps,number 311.
You know I really liked aboutthat, as I was listening, was
the roosters.
(20:01):
The roosters crowing throughoutthe walk and talk there.
But walk and chat or whatever.
Well, that felt good.
I mean, that was a great way toget my Tuesday going, unlike
yesterday on a Monday, which Idon't want to really revisit too
much.
Suffice it to say it was I don'tknow.
(20:23):
Let's just say, like I don'tknow, three hours combined of a
tech line with a tech persontrying to log on, so you can do
another two hours.
Well, another hour ofcompliance, fcc and other
compliance training for radiothat I've been in this business
(20:45):
since I've been in the businesssince 1990.
I know what I'm doing in radio.
But anyway, you have to.
You have to do this ridiculoustraining and you can't fast
forward through it.
Remember now in the workplace, you know it's just the most
obvious stuff.
I want to make a joke, butwhatever, I'll leave it alone.
And then after that you'redoing like self-evaluation.
(21:09):
I've never had to do in all theyears I've been doing radio.
It's the first time I ever hadto do a self-evaluation on
myself.
What are you going to say?
You know, uh, what is yourconfidence like and what have
you added to the station interms of?
You know, what are you going togo?
Uh, and, and one through five.
Well, I'm going to rate, youknow, one being the least
favorable, five being you'rejust outstanding.
(21:30):
And I'm going to rate myself.
What are you going to go?
You know, I'm right, I reallykind of suck.
You know, fill out little one.
I met one or two.
If I could just figure out howto do radio or come up with new
components.
You know what I mean.
It's just.
But anyhow, I don't want to godown that road.
You're all stressed out again, but today, lovely to get out
(21:54):
there.
That's what I need to do moreof.
By the way, just in case you'rewondering well, I wonder what
kind of music?
Like I said, we do rock.
We do some pretty hard rock.
I'm not talking about thrashystuff like that, I'm just
talking about.
Here's what I'm talking about.
If you are my age and you arelistening to albums, that's your
(22:20):
album collection.
Okay, that's what it is.
I mean I could go through thelist, let me see if I can.
Well, here's one we do.
It never gets old to me and wehave a lot of.
I have a lot of fun singing thisone here.
We did this the other night, ohmy gosh, so fun.
(22:44):
Golden Earring, of course.
Yeah, I know I don't own therights to this song.
Hey, did you play that song onyour podcast?
Yes, I've been driving allnight my hands wet on the wheel.
There's a voice in my head thatdrives my heat.
(23:07):
Now would I like to playoriginals Absolutely, and maybe
we will.
I think we will, if not withthis band.
I've got another friend, thefriend that does my theme, sean
Moody, johnny Quality.
So we may be doing somerecorded stuff, but as far as
(23:31):
the band is concerned that I'min right now, we're doing like
this.
We're doing UFO, aerosmith, ledZeppelin, stone Temple Pilots,
as I mentioned prior, patTravers.
We'll do some Lynyrd Skynyrd, not Sweet Home Alabama, not
Freebird.
We do deep cuts.
(23:52):
We do a song called Memo fromTurner, which just I love it,
and it's redone by Dramar Turner, which just I love it, and it's
redone by Dramarama, one of thesilliest names, but it's a Mick
Jagger tune that is just soedgy and so tight Nazareth, thin
Lizzy, bad Company, cars Sticks, tom Petty.
(24:17):
I need to know.
So just wanted to let you know.
And as I was looking, I wasdoing a little research because,
you know, a band can be a verycomplex thing.
It's hard to be and I've beenin three.
Let's see three different bands, I believe, and again, it can
be very, very complex in termsof different personalities.
(24:40):
You know, you have four or fivedifferent adults.
They all have the desire, ofcourse, to play music together,
but it's just a mix of differentpersonalities.
That's why a lot of times bandsbreak up, other times, heck,
they last forever.
Uh, you know, and each member ofa band is perceived to have a
(25:05):
particular characteristic.
So I looked it up because Ididn't know exactly.
I, in my mind, I had an ideaabout this, but I wanted to look
it up just to kind of see whatother people were saying, what
sounded, what the commonthoughts are on this topic.
Let me get a drink of water.
We're talking about bands, rockbands, whatever, funk, doesn't
(25:26):
matter what the genre is, but inthis case we're talking about
rock.
So you know the members of arock band, they follow it, or
other genres.
It falls into this certainperceived personality, these
archetypes.
Of course you've got toremember again, these are just
stereotypes.
Individual personalities canvary.
(25:48):
So some of the commonperceptions.
Let's start with the drummer.
I said my brother Steve is adrummer, he is a great drummer.
John Q is a great drummer.
I said my brother Steve is adrummer, he is a great drummer.
John Q is a great drummer.
You know my brother Steve, who's just banging away in his
(26:09):
garage constantly, has been foryears mastering what he his love
, his passion of playing thedrums, love his passion of
playing the drums.
And then Herb, our currentdrummer, is just, it's a
privilege to play with this guy.
So drummers here's what theysay Often associated with high
(26:34):
energy and a playful, even wild, personality.
You look at him Keith Moon, john Bonham, just to start at
the top.
My brother and I mean that in agood way, by the way.
Herb, outgoing, very outgoing.
I don't know him as well so Ican't speak to that necessarily.
Just so you get the idea there.
That's according to mikecom.
(26:55):
Now they're sometimes perceivedas less.
Can you believe that they wouldsay I hadn't read this?
I have not pre-read this.
I started to read this sentence.
I'm like wait a second, what?
So?
These are not my words.
I'm glad I just I'm glad Iattributed this to mikecom.
(27:15):
I did not realize that they aresometimes perceived as less
intellectually inclined.
What does that mean, dumb?
Um, listen man, I, if that'swhat that's, if that's what
they're going for, I'm gonnahave to go ahead and disagree
with that one.
All right, I'm gonna stand upfor drummers on that one.
It's not like I know everydrummer in the world or any any
(27:36):
other um, you know, bassist, orguitarist, or singer, what have
you?
But no keyboard player anyother, sometimes perceived that
way as free spirits who enjoyliving on the edge.
Okay, that's cool.
Yeah, my brother's high energy.
He's playful, he can be wild,he has been.
He's calmed down now.
(27:57):
Bass player, commonly viewed asmore reserved and introverted,
often content to stay in thebackground, anchor the rhythm
section.
Again, who gosh?
You know now that I'm thinkingabout bass players that I know
they are actually the ones thatI know are are kind of like that
(28:17):
.
Michael anthony, evan halenjust comes to mind, and some of
the ones that I know personally.
You know he was content to bein the background and to just
kind of do his thing and he's agreat bassist and great
background vocalist, but thatjust kind of comes to mind, but
it says.
However, some sources describebass players as the glue that
(28:38):
holds the band together, possessing a vast knowledge of
music theory and productionskills.
Heck yeah, without that thumpman, you got to have that bottom
line.
It's an amazing thing how aband works together.
Then you have your leadguitarist.
You know what I noticed?
It doesn't say anything aboutthe keyboard player.
Oh boy, it's only going withthe four components.
(29:02):
It doesn't add I don't seeanything about keyboards.
Lead guitarist stereotyped asattention-seeking and
competitive.
This is according to GuitarParadise blog, who apparently
know these things.
Some perceptions suggest thatthey are prone to displaying
(29:23):
egos and boasting about theirabilities.
All right, let me see Prone todisplaying egos and boasting
about their abilities.
All right, let me see Prone todisplaying egos.
I mean, hey, I don't know, nothing really comes off the top
of mind.
But yeah, well, I mean, if youthink about it, the guitar
player comes out, does his solo.
(29:44):
He kind of does it in front ofthe band, even comes out in
front of the singer, or at leastnext to the singer.
A lot of the times the singerwill step aside, so he is
featuring, so that the guitarplayer is featured.
It depends on the band, I guess, but prone to displaying egos
and boasting about theirabilities.
I haven't read the singer oneyet, but I wonder if ego is in
(30:06):
that, because I think I've heardthat before.
But again, I have not pre-readthis.
So let's go to lead singer.
Some of the common perceptionsOften seen as charismatic.
Well, thank you so much.
Outgoing.
Okay, I am outgoing.
You can judge for yourselfwhether or not I'm charismatic.
I'll have to leave that up toyou.
(30:27):
And they're the face of the band.
They're believed to commandattention on stage and be the
main point of connection withthe audience.
I would say that is true.
I've gone to a lot of concerts.
You know any concert I go to,whether it's Aerosmith and it's
Steven Tyler up there, whetherit's Jay Giles and you got Peter
Wolfe up there, whether it'sthe Stones with Mick Jagger, I
(30:50):
mean on and on and on.
You know, sometimes if it is,let's say, a guitarist, slash
singer, I'd have to think aboutthat.
But certainly David Lee Roth, van Halen, he was a front man.
That's what you do, you're thefront man.
So that's yeah, I agree withthat they believe to command
(31:12):
attention on stage they would.
Someone has to a lot of the.
You know, gotta understand alot of people that are in the
band.
They don't want to commandattention.
There are people, maybe some do, but for the most part you
don't see keyboard players or,you know, you don't really see
bassists or the drummer tryingto command attention.
Yeah, they do their bass solo, but that's kind of to kind of
(31:33):
show off for a second.
You had to get attention for aminute, but also to give the
band a break.
Let's be honest, and which Ialways thought was interesting,
by the way, it's the drummer who, in my opinion, is working the
hardest.
The front man works pretty hardtoo, I will say that.
But a drummer is actually beingwith your arms, being physical
and sweating a lot.
The drummer does that.
(31:53):
But heck, listen, the front man, if you're good, you're running
around being athletic.
If you're a good one, it justdepends on the style.
Let's see.
Also, the lead singer makesconnection with the audience.
This perception can be so strongthat losing a lead singer is
often seen as a significantsetback for a band's success.
(32:14):
Absolutely, it's true.
I mean you can think of a fewbands.
Acdc comes to mind.
Bon Scott passes away, brianJohnson takes over.
They become huge Black Sabbath, ozzy and Sabbath part ways.
(32:34):
Ronnie James Dio joins withSabbath, heaven and hell mob
rules.
Unbelievably great record.
So it does happen, but I wouldsuggest that it doesn't happen
that often.
I know there are some otherexamples, but if it take me a
while really honestly to thinkabout that, who would you know
(32:55):
who?
Anyhow, I better wrap this up.
I'll ramble on all day todayspeaking of bands and front men.
In this case, 80s rock legenddavid roach has passed away, 59
years old, just 59 years old.
Uh, he was the front man ofthis band.
(33:16):
No, uh, this band junkyard.
Maybe some of you know, maybeyou don't know them, but anyhow,
on just a couple of days on the, the band announced its passing
.
It was a courageous battle withcancer.
God, everyone is inflicted withthis god-awful disease.
Bless anyone who was dealingwith that.
(33:36):
You just got to count yourblessings and thank God if
you're okay anyhow.
So I thought we could go outwith some junkyard and I could
say thank you for listening tomy podcast, pat's Peeps, number
311.
Take care of yourself.
(33:58):
Rest in peace, david Roach.
We'll see you on the radio.
Back in my old hometown, therewere long summer days, there
(34:21):
were leaves on the ground and itwas too cold a place.
The city's colder than coal.
It's faceless and gray, and allthe dreams that you hold keep
(34:46):
slipping away, slipping away, slipping away, little by little
and day by day, slipping away, slipping away.
(35:11):
Bye, thank you.
