Speaker 1 (00:10):
Hello, this is Patti, with Patti Talks Too Much, and
thank you for joining me todaywith another episode in can I
heal my arthritis naturally?
And that's a big and ongoingquestion.
And so there you know, forthose of you who did not see my

(00:33):
previous videos, so I amchronicling my journey to heal
heal my arthritis naturally withno medication.
Now I have kind of acombination according to my
doctor anyway a combination ofosteoarthritis and rheumatoid

(00:57):
arthritis.
The concentration is mainly inmy hands, my wrists, my elbows
and my shoulders, and that was aprogression.
It began in my fingers andmoved upward to my shoulders.
I have chosen to address thiscondition naturally.

(01:17):
I've done some reading.
There are two naturopathicdoctors who have written books.
I've read them and I am doingkind of a synthesis of both of
these approaches.
One approach, dr Susan Blum, isa functional doctor out of of

(01:40):
Connecticut who believes thatyou can cure your arthritis by
healing your gut.
So her focus is on healing ourgut issues through nutrition,
through supplements and so forth, and so I have adapted some of

(02:00):
her approach.
And also I have read Dr PennyKelly's book Getting Well
Naturally, from the Soil to theStomach, and this is a book that
focuses on healing yourarthritis cleanses and doing

(02:22):
that routinely.
Now both agree that whichevernatural course you're going to
take, it's going to take atleast a year and so before you
decide to commit yourself tothis approach, that is something

(02:44):
that we need to accept.
It is not like Western medicine, where you take a pill and your
symptoms seem better and in alot of ways they are but your
condition generally is not.
And in the case of arthritis, often the medications address

(03:07):
the symptoms, the inflammation, the pain but exacerbate the
decline of the condition of thejoint and so, basically, your
symptoms may be getting better, but your condition is getting
worse.
And most people find that theyliterally need to spend the rest

(03:30):
of their life on thesemedications.
And that is just not somethingI'm.
I'm 65 years old and generallyI feel good, I feel healthy,
except for this condition.
So it is, you know, I wouldlike to live a long and healthy
life and I don't want to give upon myself and start taking

(03:55):
medication now and just kind ofsurrender to oh well, you know,
this is my life, I'm gonna justspend my life on these.
You know medications.
You know because I know wherethat leads Oftentimes people
will start one medication andbecause it kind of creates other
conditions, the side effects, they end up on another and

(04:15):
another, and another, and that'snot you know, that's not a
slippery slope I want to slidedown.
I don't want to do that.
So if I have to make a choice, that is a lifelong choice, right
, because when you're healingsomething, naturally you are

(04:36):
addressing it, you're healing it.
But these are things, these areapproaches.
This is kind of a lifestylethat you most likely will have
to live for the rest of yourlife.
You know, like, if there arecertain foods that exacerbate
your condition, they might befoods that you just can't

(04:56):
indulge in, you know, or or youindulge in rarely and then deal
with kind of the aftermath ofthat.
But but it's something that wehave to be really diligent about
.
And I will say that, and you mayalready know this, there has

(05:17):
been a tremendous proliferationof these kinds of things the
cancers and autoimmune diseasesin recent years.
Just an explosion of autoimmunediseases and rheumatoid
arthritis is considered anautoimmune disease and people

(05:38):
have their own theories for whythat is In recent years.
There's some blame put on somemedical interventions of the
recent past.
I will say for the record thatI did not partake in any medical

(06:01):
intervention in recent years.
So my condition is still a bitof a mystery to me, because, you
see, I have not had any disease, any cancer, any problem.
I haven't been on medicationfor anything my whole life and

(06:26):
suddenly, in the last couple ofyears, I've had this condition
that has come up for me and tookme quite by surprise.
So I think I'm not the only onein this.
I wish I had some concreteanswers for those who may have
experienced general good healthand then, all of a sudden, they

(06:49):
have an autoimmune issue andthey don't really know where it
came from.
And I will say this whether youhave engaged in taking medical
interventions in recent yearsthat are questionable or not,

(07:11):
our environment is so full oftoxins that at this point, I
believe it's almost impossiblefor a human being to go
throughout their entire life andlive a fully healthy,
disease-free life withoutencountering any of these kinds
of issues.

(07:32):
Because of what's in our air, because of what's in our water,
because our foods are our foodsare depleted of nutrition and
often downright poisonous If youare still eating processed

(07:54):
foods.
Processed foods are generallypoisonous.
And so, if you are a smoker, ifyou like to drink alcohol.
You know, even the supposednatural recreational drugs, like
marijuana, are now grown underconditions that are highly

(08:15):
questionable.
So there are so many things, nomatter what your lifestyle is,
there are so many things thatare surrounding us that kind of
expose us to toxins, things thatour body should never be

(08:40):
exposed to, like skin should notbe exposed to it, or, you know,
we should not be ingesting it,we should not be breathing it in
.
And yet there you have it.
So some of the some of theanswers may take a while to get
to, but in the meantime that youknow, the question is what are

(09:02):
we going to do?
What are we going to do aboutthese conditions if we are of
the mindset that we want toaddress them naturally?
So what I wanted to do today isgo through what I take every

(09:25):
day, like, what are theseproducts that I am taking?
But?
But first I just want to saynow it's been a couple of months
since I've done a video, allright, so, and the reason why
was because I had the experienceof kind of taking one step
forward, two steps back, onestep forward and it was hard
like okay, how do I updatepeople on this Because it seems

(09:48):
like I'm going forward and thenI'm going, you know, like the
condition seemed to be improvingand then it kind of got worse
and then it improved.
What's going on?
And I can't say that I know allof the answers to that.
I am just going to share withyou what has been happening.
So I began this with a parasitecleanse.

(10:13):
I used Paradex from ProgressiveLabs, so you can go to
Progressive Labs and you can gettheir parasite cleanse, their
capsules, and I took two in themorning before breakfast, two
before lunch, two before dinner, and then, when I went through

(10:36):
my second round, I endeavored todo two in the morning, two in
the afternoon, two before lunch, two at dinner and then two at
bedtime, though I have to behonest, sometimes I really
forgot to do the bedtime one.
So, but at any rate, at aminimum six capsules a day, and

(10:58):
that went hand in hand withcoffee enemas.
Hand with coffee enemas, um,you know, generally every
morning.
Um, they are.
There is a coffee enema thatyou can get.
Um, it's called Thera Theracoffee.

(11:19):
You can get it through Amazon.
It's in a green bag and it isspecifically for it's a golden
color and it is specifically forcoffee enemas.
I have found that the coffeeenema has been the most

(11:42):
important thing in my journeyand it's usually the thing we're
most resistant to.
It's like, ah, I don't, I don'twant to do that, no, I just
can't do that.
And I get it because I feltthat way in the beginning.
But what I found was, I mean, once you kind of get used to it
and you have this routine, it'sjust kind of, it's just what you

(12:03):
do.
But I found that, combining thecoffee enema with the parasite
cleanse, I noticed a decrease inthe inflammation and the pain
in my joints and I became very, very encouraged, like this is
great, this is great, this isworking.
I'm on my way.
And then the next month I wentand I did a liver flush.

(12:31):
Now the these cleanses you canfind in Penny Kelly's book
Getting Well Naturally, from theSoil to the Stomach.
You can order it on, you canorder it on Amazon, and she goes
through each of these cleanses.
So the whole point of this isto go through a whole series of
cleanses and there are certaincleanses you do twice a year.

(12:53):
There's a cleanse you do threetimes a year and you just
literally set up your calendarso that, okay, this cleanse I
need to do every three months, this cleanse I need to do twice
a months, this cleanse I need todo twice a year.
So I'll do one at this time,I'll do one at that time, and
you just know, maybe you have awall calendar, maybe you have
whatever it is that you can setup that reminds you, okay, I'm

(13:18):
due for this cleanse.
So that's what I did.
So I went through kind of anintensive summer where I did the
parasite cleanse and then Iwent right into the liver
cleanse and then a colon flush.
And I will say that while I wasdoing the liver cleanse and the

(13:40):
colon flush and then shortlyafter that, I felt like things
were kind of reversing a littleand I thought, well, gee, I'm
feeling a little more pain in myshoulders.
What's going on?
I thought I would really beturning the corner.
I was so encouraged by that outof the gate parasite cleanse

(14:04):
with the coffee enema.
I was so encouraged by that outof the gate parasite cleanse
with the coffee enema.
I was so encouraged by that.
I thought this is awesome, I'mon track.
So I did feel like things werea little off track.
I followed those cleanses to a T.
That's very, very precise whatyou do each day, and for some of

(14:24):
these cleanses it's literallydown to what time of day you
take this or you take that.
So it's important to followthat.
You know, follow what it saysin the book.
Now I will say that some ofthese cleanses are also laid out
in the book, the rain barreleffect.
There are some cleanses thatare laid out there, and so if

(14:47):
you want to get the book RainBarrel Effect, you will find the
cleanses here.
And I will also note that 100years ago these were absolutely
normal.
People did these cleansesnaturally.
It was kind of just part of howwe stayed healthy.
And then, when kind of Westernmedicine took hold and the

(15:13):
pharmaceutical companies tookhold, all of these natural ways
that people kept themselveshealthy went by the wayside and
it was all pharmacy based.
So these are very old, triedand true cleanses people have
been doing for a long time.
So, at any rate, I felt like Ihad a couple of steps backwards

(15:36):
and then I did my secondparasite cleanse and I felt like
, okay, I'm moving forward again.
So it's been a little bit of aback and forward thing in that I
just finished my secondparasite cleanse, accompanied
with the coffee enemas, and I dofeel a shift in my arthritis

(16:02):
condition, now one of the sideeffects of taking all of the
things I'm going to show you,all of the things that I my
morning routine, all of thethings that I take.
I've noticed, though, at thesame time, that there have been
improvements in other things inin my life, other conditions,

(16:27):
and so I wanted to you know, soI'll share that as I go.
So my overall health ismarkedly better.
My arthritis is moving moreslowly Now.
I understand it as a conditionin a complex system.

(16:53):
So the arthritis isn't just aproblem in these particular
joints.
There's a whole thing going onin my system, and may have been
going on for a long timeundetected, and then it
manifests in this way, and so,in a way, if you are trying to

(17:14):
cure or heal something, naturally it's taking a long
time, because you're literallyaddressing the entire system, an
entire system that, unbeknownstto you, has been kind of out of
balance, or maybe you hadnoticed certain things, but we
normalize some of these thingsas we go along and we think, oh,

(17:34):
that's just kind of, that'saging, that's how I feel or
whatever.
That's just natural and in fact, a lot of the things that begin
to happen to our bodies as theybecome out of balance are
indications of, you know, disease that's approaching, know

(17:56):
disease that's approaching, andso you know.
And so I think that I didn'tnecessarily pay close attention
to perhaps some of the earlywarning signs, and then we sit
up and take notice when itreally manifests in more obvious
ways, like you know, pain andswelling in joints, for instance
.
So let me take you through mymorning routine, all right.

(18:18):
So one of the things that Itake, I do a morning shake.
I'm just kind of grabbing thebag here.
I do a morning shake.
This is from Meta Jetix, metaJetix Lab.
It's Ultra Inflamix plus 360.

(18:39):
All right, now, this is justsomething you put a scoop in.
You know, I put a scoop in ajar and I shake it up and put it
in a glass and I take thatevery morning, but before I
drink it, there are somesupplements that I take that are

(19:02):
in liquid form and some thatare in capsule form.
So I'm going to first show youthe supplements that I take that
are in liquid form, becausethose are the ones that I put in
my morning shake.
All right, so I'm going tobegin with this Now.
This is a form of zeolite.

(19:25):
You can see it there and thisis a product that I take.
It's NCO2, natural cellulardefense that's kind of what it's
called, but it's actually aliquid zeolite and I put about

(19:57):
five drops, or like a half of adropper, in my shake.
One of the things that I'venoticed because it is a heavy
metal, you know, because ithelps clear up heavy metals I
have noticed, since I've beendoing this and I've been doing
this for about three months nowthat there's been a that that my
thought processes, my memory, all of that, you know.

(20:18):
The brain fog is is gone andI'm really able to to speak more
clearly, and there are justthings that I've noticed that
indicate that I have much moreclarity of mind now, and so that

(20:41):
has been one of the thingsthat's happened.
That has been really wonderful.
So having more clarity of mindis a wonderful thing.
I am taking vitamin D.
Of course, I take it in liquidform, and this goes in to the
shake as well.

(21:01):
Now, one of the things that Ihave learned as I've gone along
is that arthritis because thisis a complex system arthritis
can be connected to some thyroidissues going on, and so that

(21:22):
it's important to make sure thatyou have a really strong,
functioning thyroid, and so Idecided to add things to my
morning shake that have to dowith fortifying and nourishing
my thyroid.
I think our thyroids are underfar more stress and strain these

(21:45):
days than they really should be, and when your thyroid starts
acting up, there's a whole hostof things that can go wrong in
your body.
And I, you know, and that isone of the things that I've
learned is that arthritis can belinked to some some thyroid
imbalances.
So I make sure that I take acouple of drops of iodine every

(22:11):
day.
So I do iodine, a couple ofdrops, all organic.
And to also help my thyroid, Itake vitamin ADK.
I add just a few drops of thisand you can see that and you can
order that online as well, Allright.
So I also take liquid boron, and I take liquid boron because

(22:41):
I you know magnesium is reallyan important part of addressing
this condition.
But if your body isn't gettingenough boron, then you're not
going to process the magnesiumas well.
So I make sure that I take, Iput some boron in my morning

(23:01):
shake and lastly, you know thisis kind of a magical thing that
I add and this is C60.
Now, you may or may not haveheard of C60.
It's kind of a new thing in thewhole alternative health scene.

(23:23):
But C60 is touted as agereversal.
It helps cells regenerate, thatsort of thing, and it is good
for the joints.
It is an oil that can be goodfor the joints, good for that
lubrication, but it does so muchmore.

(23:45):
So there are people, forinstance, that have noticed that
their eyesight improves afterthey have been taking C60.
I have noticed I've been doingit for about three months and I
have noticed that the floatersthat I had in my eyes are no
longer there.
So this has been like I said.

(24:07):
There've been a lot of positivethings that have happened.
My arthritis has been slowmoving, but there are other
things that have happened alongthe way that are very
encouraging.
So I do think that that hassomething to do with the C60 is,
you know, in that I don't havefloaters anymore, or extremely

(24:34):
little Like.
I used to notice them all thetime.
You know, they were kind ofalways there and then one day
recently I'm like gee whiz, where are those floaters?
They're gone because they hadgotten kind of intense, and so
that has been a greatimprovement in my eyesight, is
that I do not have floatersanymore.

(24:58):
All right, so that's the liquidstuff, that's all the liquid
drops and things that I put intomy shake.
I'm going to share some of thethings that I actually that I
take.
So I definitely take turmeric, curcumin Absolutely A couple of
capsules of that every morning.

(25:18):
I take my vitamin C.
This is the vitamin C.
I take Two capsules of thatevery morning.
This is the magnesium that Itake, and I take three in the
morning and I take three atnight, and so, um, that's a lot

(25:39):
of magnesium.
Um, but uh, from what I'veheard, we, um, uh, we don't take
enough magnesium.
Even when we were takingmagnesium, we should be taking
more than what we should.
So I was told I should takeabout 700 milligrams of
magnesium a day.

(26:00):
So that's kind of what I'mshooting for every day.
I don't always hit that number,but that's what I'm shooting
for.
I take glucosamine sulfate andthis this is through Solgar.
I take a couple of these everyday as well.

(26:20):
Um, and along the lines of theum, the thyroid health.
I do take a glandular and Itake desiccated thyroid.
All right, um, to support mythyroid health.
Let's see.
Now here's a product that I'mnot really sure about, but I

(26:41):
take it.
I don't have any, you know, um,but this is something that you
may have seen advertised.
It's called Heal and Soothe.
It's through Living Well, andit is a supplement that contains
these enzymes that help breakdown the fibers that build up on

(27:04):
our joints when we havearthritis.
Um, this is what it purports todo.
Um, you know, I I figured Iwould give it a shot.
So I take three of these everymorning.
Okay, so it's heal and soothe, and um, again, it is um to
address the fibrous buildup onour joints.

(27:28):
So the jury is out on that.
I'm not really sure if that isworking or not.
All right, and I take calcium inthis form.
I like the chewable.
This is through Solgar Labs andI just take a couple of these
wafers in the morning.
They, you know, just to getenough calcium in their 500

(27:54):
milligram.
It's a 500 milligram wafer, soI do two of those every day.
Now, in addition, in my tea orin my coffee, I do a collagen.
This is my collagen peptides, and you notice it has all four.
So it has the beef, the chicken, the fish and the egg, collagen

(28:15):
from all four sources, and sothat's my morning routine.
So I have supplements that Itake, I have liquid supplements
that I put in my shake and thecollagen goes in my tea and I do
that.
I do that every morning.

(28:37):
So I am about to do the nextcleanse on the docket is called
the purge, and the purge is afive day.
Five day cleanse in which youare just doing, you are doing

(28:57):
only raw foods and juicing, um,and so there are some
supplements that you do and then, towards the end, um, I believe
you do a um, epsom salt.
Epsom salt is is really goodfor kind of loosening, softening

(29:18):
and moving your bowels.
Um, and you also do some coffeeenemas towards the end.
So, you know, because the purgehelps eliminate toxins that are
in your tissues and sometimes, like, for instance, parasites,
can live, for instance, in yourgut, you know, throughout your

(29:39):
gut and your colon, but that'snot the only place they live.
So they can live in yourtissues, you know, and other
places, so the purge really doeshelp clear those out as well.
So toxins that are locked inyour, your, your tissue and and
possible parasites that might belocked in your tissue.

(30:00):
So that's the, that's thecleanse that I'm going to do.
Next, as we get into the coolermonths, the final cleanse in
this series and then, of course, and then we just repeat, you
know, so I'll be going back anddoing another liver flush and be
doing another colon cleanse, you know, and that kind of goes
through the year, like everyevery other month or so there's

(30:25):
another cleanse that is on thedocket you need to do.
But the final one is called acastor oil, olive oil bath, and
basically it is a way to detoxyour skin, so, largest organ in

(30:50):
the body.
So you know I will be doingthat and because it is a, you
know, kind of a hot bath with, you know, with a lot of sweating
involved, I'll be doing that.
As it gets a little colderoutside, I'll do that and that
is something that you actuallydo once a week for a series of

(31:13):
weeks in the winter months, todetox your skin, your whole,
like all of your skin, throughout your body.
Um, so that I'll be doing andthen, of course, um, another
round of these other cleanses,um, as we move into spring.
So, um, that that is, those areall of the things that I take

(31:40):
um every day.
Uh, in addition to that, mydiet is pretty, pretty
restrictive, you know no sugar,no, no alcohol, that sort of
thing.
I do a little coffee now, likeI'm sipping on some now, but

(32:02):
that might be just one cup todaybecause I'm treating myself.
I've done some research, gettingraw milk and I've decided to

(32:32):
start making my own cheeses.
So I make cheese because youknow, I haven't been doing any
dairy.
I'd like to return to dairy.
So the way I decided to do itwas I was going to make my own
cheddar cheese and whatever youknow or in whatever cheese that
I can make, but from raw milk.

(32:53):
So, again, I'm getting all ofthe nutrients from raw milk.
So I'm currently making cheddarcheese and along with that I
make regatta cheese, which isreally, really tasty.
And you know I love bread.
But I've decided that I amgoing to return to eating bread.

(33:17):
If I'm going to return to eatingbread, I decided I was going to
mill my own wheat berries.
I was going to mill my owngrain and make sourdough bread
with that.
So I'm all about making my ownsourdough bread and making it

(33:40):
with organic berries, berriesand seeds that I can get.
And I am milling my own, sothere's nothing added.
It's about as healthy as I canget, and that is the process
that I'm going through toreintroduce things that I have
so loved in the past but knowthat they might not be friendly

(34:05):
to the condition that I'm tryingto address.
So raw milk cheeses and my ownmilled organic sourdough breads.
So I'm very excited about thatbecause it gives me an
opportunity to get in thekitchen and do some new things,
new projects, which I alwayslove.
So I I'm going to wrap this upwith that.

(34:30):
I'm going to hopefully, you know, get back a little sooner and
give you an update on how thingsare going with my journey
towards healing my arthritisnaturally, and hopefully I'll
have some you know, some evenbetter news the next time we get
together.
So in another month or so, I'llpop back on and give you an

(34:54):
update on how things are going.
I hope this was helpful to you.
If you are thinking abouthealing your arthritis naturally
, I think it's a wonderful idea.
You just have to prepareyourself for a bit of a longer
journey.

(35:14):
You have to be really diligent, disciplined and patient, and so
hopefully you have all of thosequalities and you're able to,
you know, make it happen andheal your arthritis naturally.
That's certainly the journeyI'm on and I'm very happy to

(35:36):
share it with you.
So that's all for now.
This is Patty with.
