aircraft manufacturing training program at Chattahoochee Tech's Aviation Training Academy.
This partnership, which was announced on August 19th, aims to

provide Lockheed Martin with a skilled workforce while offering students
hands on training with support from the International Association of Machinists.
This initiative includes a US Department of Labor apprenticeship program.

Paulding County community is mourning the loss of Deputy Brandon Cunningham,
who was tragically killed in an ambush shooting in Hiram
last weekend. His fiancee, Shayla Benson, who is also a deputy,
shared her profound grief, describing Cunningham as her soulmate and hero.
In a moving tribute, Ben Cent and community members gathered
to honor his memory with a procession and memorial at
the Paulding County Sheriff's Office. Sheriff Gary Gullage praised Cunningham's

What we did at Chattahoochee Tech mainly focused on the
more environmental aspect of that soil sampling, stream assessments, land assessments,
and then also the geographic interface with that as well.

The majority of our students are on the traditional side,
but we do have a pretty big percentage. I'd say.
I don't know the exact number off the top of
my head. Around 30% of the students are non-traditional who
do come back, who've been working in the field for
years and want to get a degree in engineering.

passionate about what they teach, because they come from that field. And,
you know, the first week is, hey, how are you doing?
And the next week is, let's grab this gear and
go out and shoot video and then put it together.

A recent autopsy report reveals that Georgia firefighters Reagan, Anderson
and Chandler commander died in a murder suicide. 24 year
old Anderson fatally shot 24 year old commander before turning
the gun on herself. The pair, who had a troubled
relationship after breaking up in 2023, were found dead in
Anderson's car in Tennessee. Anderson had a history of erratic behavior,

including a recent confrontation with commander and vandalism of his vehicle.
Anderson's toxicology report was negative and both died from gunshot wounds.
