Biblical fasting is not about earning God's blessing but about drawing near to Him by denying the flesh, bringing freedom, deeper fellowship, and clearer direction for life. When God's people humble themselves before Him, He strengthens their spirit, breaks the grip of the flesh, and faithfully leads them in His will.
