MR Rangaswami is a legend in his own lifetime.
Best known for founding The Sandhill Group in 1997, which was one of the earliest angel investment firms in Silicon Valley - he actually launched his Silicon Valley career in 1982 working with Tech luminaries such as Larry Ellison, Tom Siebel and Marc Benioff at Oracle before moving on to become CMO of Bahn.
I will put links into the show notes so that you can read more about MR and even contact him if you are that entrepreneur ready for the big break. As you will hear, that is what makes MR special. He meets with people. Supports people. Helps people.
More recently M.R. founded the SHG Foundation, a million-dollar nonprofit funding a variety of social entrepreneurship organizations around the world, including Agastya, Black Girls Code, and Room to Read and not satisfied with his own foundation, he is also a board member of the Kaliash Satyarthi Children’s Foundation, The Nudge Foundation, and the WISH Foundation.
We were delighted when MR made some time on his calendar to catch up with his long time friend and occasional host of this podcast … Stuart Robbins.

CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist
It’s 1996 in rural North Carolina, and an oddball crew makes history when they pull off America’s third largest cash heist. But it’s all downhill from there. Join host Johnny Knoxville as he unspools a wild and woolly tale about a group of regular ‘ol folks who risked it all for a chance at a better life. CrimeLess: Hillbilly Heist answers the question: what would you do with 17.3 million dollars? The answer includes diamond rings, mansions, velvet Elvis paintings, plus a run for the border, murder-for-hire-plots, and FBI busts.
