visit Disney World.
Holidays have just happened.
It's a new year.
A lot of people are planningtheir Disney vacation, so I'm
getting a lot of peoplemessaging me asking me when do I
think the best time to go toDisney World is?

(00:21):
And that really comes to a lotof considerations, right.
So because we own a travelagency, we get to see kind of
all these different scenarioshere.
So if you do need help planningyour Disney vacation, make sure
you go over tomagicvacationfamilycom, fill out
the vacation request and mywife or I will be able to help
you out.
But let's kick off this episoderight now.

(01:08):
Disney magic.
Buckle up and let's dive intothe world of Disney.

Justin (01:13):
All right.
So topic number one, like Isaid, is going to be the best
time to visit Disney World.
Now, that really depends onwhat your definition of best
time is, right.
So a lot of people that areasking for the best time to
visit Disney World are usuallywanting to avoid, like, heavy
crowds, long waits, high prices, and sometimes they're actually
even trying to avoid that reallyhot and humid Florida weather.

(01:33):
So let's talk about off-peakseasons first.
So that's going to be kind oflike your mid-January to
mid-February time.
We're talking after the holidayrush, those crowds are going to
thin out a little bit, plus theweather's a lot more mild.
So, for example, I am goinghere at the end of January, so
January 28th through February2nd I'm going to be down in
Orlando and I'm going down therefor a conference, but

(01:55):
definitely I'm going to be downthere for some Disney
experiences as well, right?
But I'm not just going to bebringing my shorts.
I'm from the Midwest, I'm usedto the cold weather, but that
doesn't mean I'm going to bewearing shorts down in Florida.
I'm going to be bringing myjoggers.
I'm going to be bringing asweatshirt, maybe a light
windbreaker for the evening, because it does get chilly,

(02:16):
right.
I mean we're talking maybe 50sto low 60s.
It could get chilly there.
So because of that, uh, it'sone of the best times to visit
because the crowds are very low.
And also so is the pricing, right.
The pricing is going to varybased on the crowd.
So that's one time that I wouldhighly recommend going.
Another time is going to bekind of looking into late april

(02:39):
to mid-may.
Um, I always say after you know, kind of after the spring break
rush.
Also, the first week and twoweeks after Easter, it is always
super slow.
I mean we're talking, walk on.
My wife and I go there usuallyafter Easter, and between my son
and daughter, I mean we canpretty much walk on to every

(03:00):
single ride those two weeksafter Easter.
So highly recommend that if youcan accommodate that in your
schedule.
Not everyone can, butdefinitely something to consider
.
Another thing, too, is that'syou know, right before the
summer break kicks off, right, that April, that late April to
mid-May.
So the crowds are stillmanageable.
The weather is also reallypleasant.
Think it's springtime, right, and that means, because it's

(03:23):
springtime, the Epcot Flower andGarden Festival is kicking off
then too.
So you want to get a reallygood glimpse of amazing
Disney-inspired florals anddecor.
You definitely want to go therefor the Epcot Flower and Garden
Show and want to make sure thatyou Go there late April to
mid-May if you want to avoidthose kind of off-peak season

(03:45):
times.
Also late August throughSeptember.
You know school's usually backin session A lot of the times
they go back to school and youknow most places are going back
to school in August or earlySeptember, so you know you may
have a bit more opportunity totravel down there Now.
I know it's maybe a little bitharder to take kids out of
school since they've just goneback, but sometimes it's worth

(04:06):
it.
You can save some money thereplus avoid some crowds.
The only thing I would say isit is kind of at the peak of
Florida's hurricane season andit's usually pretty hot and
rainy.
So anytime you go to Floridayou're going to be battling rain
.
So my wife and I always joke.
We bring our rain gear, ourumbrellas, our stroller covers,
you name it and every time webring them into the parks it

(04:28):
doesn't rain.
But the days that we do bringthem into or don't bring them
into the parks, it rains on us.
So I just recommend bringingthem, no matter what, to try to
make sure that you are alwaysprepared, because just because
it rains doesn't mean that ithas to ruin your vacation, right
, you can make the best of it.
So highly recommend that.
And then also early December.

(04:48):
So I'm talking about rightafter Thanksgiving, right to the
beginning kind of first coupleweeks of December.
A lot of the times I transitionfor families, people are
wrapping stuff up at work beforethe holidays, but it's going to
be beautifully decorated forthe holidays.
That also gives you anopportunity to attend Mickey's
Very Merry Christmas Also, thatfestive atmosphere with the

(05:13):
fewer crowds.
The weather's starting tochange again.
It's going to be a little bitcooler again, so that is a
really good time to be visitingNow.
Highly recommend avoiding thepeak season stuff though.
So I know I said holidays rightand I said early December.
The reason why I say earlyDecember is because as we get
closer to the middle of December, you know it's a new year's or

(05:33):
around, like right aroundThanksgiving and before Easter,
and also like the spring breaktime in March it's going to be
extremely busy.
The other things I would callout too is like your long
weekends, your holiday weekends,so your Memorial Day weekends,
your Labor Day weekends.
Fourth of July is absolutelybananas down there, so don't
make the same mistake that I didand be like oh we're going to

(05:55):
go down here and see amazingfireworks for the Fourth of July
.
It was absolute chaos.
We've done it twice.
Trying to push a strolleraround in that chaos was madness
.
So if it's like you know youand your partner, or you and
someone that just wants to godown, like you know you and your
partner, or you and someonethat just wants to go down there
, you know you, maybe you grewup with girlfriends or
boyfriends, whatever.

(06:16):
That's fine.
But if you're trying to go downthere with kids, I'd definitely
highly recommend avoiding thoselong weekends, especially the
Fourth of July.
But also the weatherconsiderations too.
Right, you have to know yourown body.
So if you're one of thosepeople that sweats really bad,
gets hot really easily and getsannoyed of the heat, you want to
avoid the summer months.
So that summer June to Augustfirst of all, it's going to be

(06:40):
very crowded because it's summerbreak, especially locals.
They don't have school, andthen also, like I said, the
temperatures can be extremelysweltering, so making it a
little less comfortable to visit.
Now I do have an episode that'sgoing to be coming up here that
talks about my favorite rides tocool down on, so I can give you
tips and tricks.
So if you are forced to go downduring that time of the year, I

(07:03):
can actually help you throughthat and I help people through
that all the time.
I mean, I'm one of those peoplethat gets really warm really
quick, so I need to find placesto cool down, so I can
definitely help you with that aswell.
