(01:22):
Now, today we're going to talkabout the best Disney resort
hotels for families with fiveguests or more, and number one
on my list shouldn't be asurprise to any of you it is
Disney's Art of Animation.
Now, between the theming ofthis place from having like the
Lion King theme to the cars, finding Nemo, little Mermaid you
really get immersed inside ofjust the theming of this resort.
But on top of that, they havefamily suites that can sleep up
(01:45):
to six people, so they haveplenty of space, whether it's in
a separate bedroom, they have aliving area with a pullout
couch, they also have akitchenette and they also have a
Murphy bed too.
So I know that my kids get akick all the time out of pulling
down the Murphy bed before theygo to sleep at night.
Also, one of the coolest thingsabout Art of Animation is the
(02:05):
fact that it's right on theSkyliner, so that means you can
get to Epcot or HollywoodStudios with no stress on the
transportation.
That's right.
So you just get in line, hop onthe ride, which is the Skyliner
, which is fantastic.
It's a good time.
I mean, my daughter would rideon it all day long if she could.
And also they have the big bluepool, which is the largest pool
at Disney.
(02:26):
So you want to take a breakduring the day.
Come back, take the Skylinerback from Epcot or Hollywood
Studios, go in the big blue pool, relax a little bit, go back to
the park at night or on one ofyour relaxed days where you're
taking some time off from theparks and you just want to relax
at the resort.
You do that too.
Now, if you've ever been toHawaii, this is gonna be the one
for you, and if you've alwaysdreamed of going to Hawaii, this
(02:48):
option is gonna be for you aswell.
And this is the Disney'sPolynesian Village Resort.
It's definitely a little bitmore luxurious, but it's still
super family friendly.
Now, this place is beautiful.
I mean, they have overwaterbungalows and deluxe villas that
can sleep, actually, up toeight people.
So we're going up from six toeight people now.
Also, the rooms are spacious.
They have private balconies, kitchenettes and got to call out
(03:11):
the incredible view of MagicKingdom.
There have been many times ofwhere we haven't even been
staying there, but we've gone toOhana for dinner and we've
watched the fireworks right fromeither from the pool or from
the restaurant.
Also, definitely recommendgoing to Ohana.
If you want to have a reallygreat character breakfast and
meet and greet with Lilo andStitch.
Highly recommend it.
My kids right now are into thewhole Lilo and Stitch phase, so
(03:34):
recommend going there too.
Don't forget Polynesian's alsoon the monorail line, so it
makes it super easy to get toMagic Kingdom or Epcot, which
means you don't have to dealwith the bus system.
You can just hop on themonorail and head that way.
Now if you're looking for moreof a laid back vibe without
breaking the bank, then Disney'sCaribbean Beach Resort is also
(03:56):
another great option for you,and they have rooms there that
can accommodate up to fiveguests.
But if you actually need morespace so let's say you want up
to eight guests you couldactually get a Disney Vacation
Club Villa that can sleep eightguests and also comes with a
kitchenette.
Also, the island-themed resortmakes it more kind of luxurious,
but also more relaxing.
So think of like going to theCaribbean on vacation, being
(04:17):
able to relax on nice sandybeaches, hang out by the pool,
but then also go get some Disneyexcitement during the day too.
Also, this is right on theSkyliner, which means you can
hop right on the Skyliner, go toEpcot or Hollywood Studios in a
matter of minutes.
In addition, if your kids areinto pirates like mine are as
well then they have apirate-themed pool, which is a
(04:37):
huge hit, so make sure you checkthat out Now.
Are you a little more bougie?
You want the luxury kind ofside of the trip?
Then you're definitely going towant to check out Disney's
Grand Floridian Resort and Spa.
I know it already sounds fancyright now.
The Grand Floridian Villasactually will sleep up to eight
guests now.
The cool thing about these, though, is they're two bedroom
suites and they have fullkitchens and living spaces, so
it's like a hobo away from home.
(04:58):
Also, if you're looking formore of a touch of Elegance,
this is definitely going to bethat place, especially because
of the beautiful Victoriantheming.
This place does have a morerefined feel, but it's still
totally family friendly.
Also, they have a ton ofactivities for kids, plus
character meet and greets tokeep the magic alive.
In addition, they're right onthe monorail again.
(05:20):
So if you're planning to go toMagic Kingdom, don't worry, it's
a breeze to get to the park, especially if you plan on
spending a lot of time there.
Now, don't sleep on this one.
This is a huge tip.
All right, make sure you visit1900 Park Fair.
You don't even have to bestaying here to do it.
You can do your own diningreservations right.
Visit 1900 Park Fair for acharacter dining experience that
you'll talk about definitelyafter the trip.
(05:42):
You can meet characters.
It's a fun and relaxedatmosphere.
It's beautiful because it's gotthat Victorian style to it, but
also the food is fantastic.
So I highly recommend it.
Now for all my outdoorsy type ofpeople who love nature and
maybe more of that rustic vibe, maybe, if you watch Yellowstone
right, disney's Wilderness Lodgeis going to be a fantastic
(06:04):
resort for you to stay in,especially at the Copper Creek
Cabins.
They can actually sleep up toeight guests.
They come with full kitchens, living areas, but this is where
it gets really cool.
They have private patios withhot tubs.
That's right.
So you really want to talkabout relaxing Go soak in the
hot tub after a long day ofwalking around and going through
the crowded parks, right?
In addition, it's peaceful,nature-filled retreat, while
(06:28):
still kind of really giving youall that Disney magic.
It's peaceful, nature-filledretreat, while still kind of
really giving you all thatDisney magic.
Plus, they have a bunch ofdifferent activities like
horseback riding, fishing andall the nature trails that you
could explore.
Fun tip on this one is it'sactually just a boat ride over
to Magic Kingdom, so you cantake a bus or you can take a
boat, which is really cool.
It's a really peaceful way tostart or end your day by boat.
(06:49):
And, of course, if you're reallylooking for a great pool that's
got close proximity to Epcot, then Disney's Beach Club Resort
is a great choice for yourfamily.
Not only can it sleep up tofive guests in its villas, but
it's got plenty of space for youand your family.
Plus the rooms, I mean, they'respacious and they have for a
variety of suites that are evenperfect for larger families, so
up to eight people.
(07:10):
This has one of the best pools, and now you'll probably have
heard you've probably alreadyheard people talking about the
pool at Disney's Beach ClubResort.
I mean it's got a lazy river,it's got a water slide, it's got
a sandy bottom pool.
It's really just a great placeto relax and I highly recommend
it.
Plus, it's only a 10-minutewalk to Epcot from there.
(07:37):
I mean literally the sidewalkgoes right from the beach club
to Epcot.
You can get there right there, and then also Disney's boardwalk
is just right around the cornertoo.
I also recommend takingadvantage of character dining
experience at Cape May Cafe.
One of my first trips to Disneywe did that, and going to that
character dining experienceevery trip is definitely
something we tried to do.
We don't always get it becauseof the availability of
reservations fills up reallyquick, but if you can do it, I
highly recommend it.
(07:58):
So which Disney resort hotel isbest for you and your family?
That's really going to besomething that you got to figure
out.
You know whether you're lookingfor luxury in space.
You know the theming like anart of animation or that
relaxing vibe of Caribbean beach.
Deluxe Disney Resort hotels canaccommodate families with five
(08:18):
guests or more comfortably.
