they're navigating throughcrowds and trying to utilize
their lightning lanes, etc.

Today's topic is going to be,once again, how can you save
money on those disney tickets?
Now, one of the things that I Ihighly recommend, first of all,
is planning in advance right, booking in advance and planning
(01:49):
out your trip and being reallythoughtful about that timing
right.
I hear so many people sayingwell, we're going down to Disney
for four days, or three daysfor two days and we want to hit
it all four parks, right, andthat's fine and really whatever
you feel you want to take on,but remember, it's definitely
not a marathon.
It's something that you want totry to take in as much as you
can and enjoy, and sometimes theway to do that is to utilize
(02:12):
some of those additionalbenefits of actually going more
than one or two days to theparks.
So, for example, right now, aone-day park ticket a single
park ticket is what they call itis going to cost you anywhere
from $109 to $159.
And that's depending on thetime of year, right.
So the season that you're goingIs it peak season?
Is it off season?
I've seen it anywhere fromactually $159 to $179.
(02:35):
So it can get higher than that, but that's usually about the
ballpark and ball range.
Now, when I said, think abouthow many days you want to be
going, think about how many daysyou want to be going, think
about the four parks that theyhave there.
If you and the kiddos want to goto, uh, go to any of the water
parks you want to go, do anyshopping downtown Disney, um,
even kind of the way that we doit sometimes is we will break up
our trip a little bit.
(02:56):
We will go to a park for half aday, go back to the hotel, grab
lunch and then we'll head backto another park uh, the evening
to, you know, see fireworks orto see a show or something right
.
But we kind of break it up alittle bit and we found that
instead of making it a giantmarathon of where we're trying
to fit all four parks into twodays, being exhausted, not
really being able to enjoy it,spending that little extra money
(03:18):
and then spreading it outactually saved us some money.
Didn't really save us as muchon the hotel rooms, but it saved
us on the ticket prices.
So if single park day ticketsare $109 to $159 versus, you
could buy a four-day park ticketand that's going to cost you
about $400 to $500 a person.
So that's actually making itsignificantly less if you're
(03:39):
buying more tickets than justthe one or two-day tickets.
So think about things like that.
Your travel professional canhelp you out.
Like I said, visit us MagicVacation Family if you do have
any questions or you wantsomeone to kind of help you out
through that process.
We're here for you.
Also, make sure you book earlyto avoid kind of those last
minute price hikes.
Especially during, like peakseasons or holidays, they can go
(04:02):
up.
I've actually seen scenarioswhere, like over 4th of July
weekend, we booked our tickets, you know, months in advance at
you know that $119, $129 range.
Then by the time we get to that4th of July weekend they're
already up to $179.
So the longer you wait, themore it could potentially cost
you.
(04:23):
In addition, you're going towant to watch for those deals
and promotions.
So make sure you are checkingthe Disney website or working
with your travel professional.
So make sure you are checkingthe Disney website or working
with your travel professional.
Now, I for one know that I'malways watching the promos and
seeing if there's ways that wecan get them applied to my
(04:44):
existing customers reservationsand, you know, make sure that we
take care of them.
But right now, for example, ifyou're looking to go to Disney
anytime between May 27th throughJune 26th or July 7th through
August 6th, they're actuallygiving away free dining plan,
which is really slick becauseyou can actually do meals and
snacks and you can kind ofspread that out through the day.
You could also be looking atsome of those like nice sit-down
dinners or kind of the quickservice meals, but really that's
(05:06):
a huge benefit right there, because if you think about it
being able to get most of yourmeals or all of your meals paid
for, that saves you a ton ofmoney right there.
So look at those specialoptions as well.
If you have questions on thatdeal, give us a note on the
website and we'll help you outthere.
Also, look for specialpromotions, too right Hotel
(05:26):
packages.
The earlier you book.
So whether it's for 2025 or2026, you can save anywhere up
to about $500, depending onwhere you're going to stay.
So, whether it's a deluxe villaor if you're looking at a value
resort, you could definitelysave quite a bit of money.
Now, one thing I'd also makesure that you take advantage of,
(05:47):
if you can.
If you're, like, for example, amilitary person, please make
sure and, by the way, thank youfor your service but militaries
military members can actuallyget discounts, so please make
sure that you utilize that.
Or if you're a Florida resident, you also get a pretty
significant discount as well.
Now, the other thing I was goingto say, too, is you don't have
(06:08):
to actually do everything right.
So, for example, there's a lotof add-ons that they can add to
your package, like Memory Maker.
Everyone's got an iPhone, everyone's got usually some
camera of some sort with them,so you don't really necessarily
need to pay for Memory Maker.
Now, I personally think thatMemory Maker is fantastic.
We use Memory Maker every timewe go, especially for the $200
(06:29):
that it costs for our trip, itreally isn't that much
additional.
Plus, I don't have to worryabout taking the photos, but
that's a way to save a couplehundred dollars.
It's not a must do, it's notsomething that's automatically
added, it is an option, so youdon't have to do that.
Also, vip tours I'm going to doa whole another episode that
talks about that.
(06:49):
You don't have to do the VIPtours.
You also don't have to do anylightning lanes.
You could always just kind ofshow up and join the standby
queues and, you know, kind oftry to walk onto the rides if
you can, especially if you'regoing off season.
You don't necessarily have todo that.
So really, kind of in summary, you know, book in advance.
You know you're definitelygoing to save a lot by buying
(07:14):
those multi-day tickets.
Even look at park hopper optionstoo.
Park hoppers gives you thatopportunity to utilize.
Let's say you wanted to buy athree-day park ticket.
You could look at doing parkhoppers one or two of those days
.
You could get more out of yourtickets.
You could do two parks in a dayif you really wanted to, if
that is something that you arelooking to take on.
Also, look out for thosepromotions.
(07:36):
Like I said, if you have anyquestions, let me know.
The one thing I'm going to tellyou, though, is be very careful
of some of those kinds of scamareas that you see that are like
buy Disney tickets for $49 each.
Be careful of those.
If it seems too good to be trueI kind of always tell everyone
that if it's too good to be true, it is there's always going to
be some sort of catch.
So please make sure that youwatch out for those.
(07:57):
I don't know about you, but Idon't feel like going and
sitting through a timesharepresentation just so I can save
a little bit of money on mytickets, because it's going to
take away from my vacation and Ijust don't want to deal with
anything high pressure.
So if you have any questions, let us know.
I think this is going to bringus to the end of this episode.
I hope that you found some ofthese tips helpful.
We're going to have more comingup here, so make sure if there
