Description: This course explains the SLPs role when it comes to working with children with hearing loss in the school system. You will learn about the auditory hierarchy of listening, classroom modifications, goals, and collaborating with teachers. Earn 1 clock hour of continuing education credit (Introductory Level, Professional Area).

As a result of this presentation the participant will be able to:  

 1. Define the auditory hierarchy of listening

 2. Identify 1 classroom modifications for the hearing loss population

3. Explain 2 ways to implement speech and language therapy goals for children with hearing loss in the schools
