At the year's close, I wrote The River of Transformation as a powerful reminder that change doesn’t have to wait. Rather than relying on fleeting New Year’s resolutions, transformation begins with one simple yet profound action: the power of your words. In just three minutes, this episode will challenge you to step into your own flow of change by acknowledging where you've been and using your voice to shape where you’re going. By naming the obstacles that hold you back and speaking life into your journey, you can break through self-doubt, overcome limiting beliefs, and ignite the transformation you've been longing for. This isn’t just about setting goals; it’s about choosing to take control of your path and embracing the power within you—today.

Speaker 1 (00:00):
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a mighty
, flowing river.
The sunlight dances on itssurface, casting ripples of
endless possibilities.
The water surges forward aliveand untamed, carving its way
through the landscape like astory unfolding Before your eyes
.
For one person, this river is amasterpiece, reflection of

(00:21):
resilience, beauty and the powerto overcome, but for another,
it is a source of fear, areminder of challenges too vast
to conquer, or a symbol of whathas been lost.
How is it that two people canstand in the same place, see the
same river and yet experienceit so differently?
It's all about perspective.

(00:43):
The river doesn't stop to waitfor permission.
It moves, it adapts, it flows.
Rocks and boulders May try toblock its path, but the water
doesn't resist.
It finds a way.
Whether by carving through, cascading over or quietly
rerouting, the river continueswith unrelenting purpose.
This is life.

(01:04):
Our lives mirror the river.
Sometimes calm, sometimesraging, always moving.
The river can cleanse us, renewus and sustain us, but it can
also overwhelm, destroy andstrip away what we thought we
couldn't live without.
And yet it's not the riveritself that defines our
experience.
It's how we choose to approachit.

(01:26):
Do we stand paralyzed at itsedge or do we step in trusting
ourselves to navigate itscurrents.
This is not a year to standstill.
This is not the time forhesitation, for fear, for
waiting on perfect conditionsthat will never come.
This is your time for waitingon perfect conditions that will
never come.
This is your time.
The river of 2025 is callingyou to leave behind self-doubt,

(01:49):
fear and hesitation and toembrace transformation.
But here's the truthTransformation doesn't happen by
chance.
It happens by choice.
The river offers us noguarantees, only opportunities,
and how we approach it, whetherwith fear or faith, will
determine how far we flow.
Ask yourself this what isstopping your flow?

(02:11):
What barriers have you allowedto define your path?
What fears or doubts have youclung to keeping you from
stepping into the life you weremeant to live?
Now, name your river.
What name will you give to thecurrent that represents your
journey?
Will it be the river of fear, the river of courage or the

(02:32):
river of breakthrough Totransform your life?
You must name it, because howcan you change what you refuse
to acknowledge?
My river in 2024 was the riverof reflection, a year of deep
contemplation and self-discovery.
In 2025, my river is the riverof breakthrough.
I will relentlessly breakbarriers and carve new paths

(02:55):
forward.
What will your river be?
What is stopping you frommoving forward?
How can you change your life ifyou won't name the river
standing in your way today?
Name your River, speak it outloud, own what holds you back.
Then choose, yes, choose tostep in and let the current of
transformation carry you forward.

(03:16):
2025 is here.
Your river is waiting.
Will you let it flow or willyou let it pass you by?
