Speaker 1 (00:02):
Greetings and welcome
to another Walk with Wingman.
My goal with these walks is toplant seeds of positivity and
empowerment.
To start empower your week.
I need to thank podcasts formotivating me to run.
I am running farther each week, partly because my fitness is
(00:22):
improving, but mainly because Ican listen and learn.
I love to learn, and listeningto podcasts on my daily run has
become a great motivator.
While finishing my run thismorning, I listened to Jenna
Kutcher's Goldigger podcast andI was reminded of one of her
Instagram posts and on this postshe had, and I quote Every
(00:46):
dream will cost you something, but remember you aren't the risk
, you are the investment.
This statement resonates withme deeply, especially when I
tied into some of the keylessons from Jenna's podcast
this morning, where sheinterviewed Robin Arzon.
I want to dive into thisconcept a little bit on reveling
(01:09):
how investing in yourself, starting small and maintaining
consistency are pivotal stepstoward realizing your dreams.
So the journey to health andwellness is not just about
physical transformation.
It's an investment in yourentire being.
As Robin highlighted in herconversation with Jenna,
(01:32):
investing in yourself is thefirst crucial step toward
achieving your dreams.
It's about prioritizing yourhealth, your mental well-being
and your personal growth.
And remember, wellness is notjust about hitting the gym or
following a diet.
It's about nurturing your mind, body and spirit.
Invest in activities thatelevate all aspects of your
(01:56):
being, like journaling,meditation, balanced nutrition
and movement that you love.
So one of the key takeaways fromJenna and Robin's conversation
this morning is the power ofstarting small.
Every great achievement beginswith a single, often small step.
(02:17):
The idea is not to overwhelmyourself with colossal goals,
which we can all do, but tobreak them into achievable,
manageable actions.
Small, consistent actions builtthe foundation for more
significant successes.
One other message thatresonated with me that I have
shared previously is that youneed to say no to things that
(02:41):
don't feel you so that you cansay yes to you and the things
that are aligned with meetingyour goals.
The other thing that Robinemphasized during the podcast
was that consistency is thegolden thread that we've success
stories.
It's not about intense burst ofactivity, but about what you do
(03:05):
regularly, day in and day out, that leads to lasting change,
and you know me, I loveconsistency.
Establishing a daily routinethat includes time for all of
the three M's your meals, movement, mindset, sleep, stress
and social connection.
It's all essential, but youcan't tackle them all at once.
(03:25):
Over time, routines becomehabits and habits shape our
destiny.
But remember, as we all know, life is unpredictable.
So don't be harsh on yourselfif you miss a workout or stray
from your nutrition plan.
Adapt and get back on track.
(03:47):
Consistency is not aboutperfection.
It's about persistence.
Every effort you put into yourhealth and wellness, no matter
how small is a seed plantedtoward a future of fulfillment
and well-being.
The cost of staying stagnantfar outweighs the cost of
(04:08):
chasing your dreams.
Invest in yourself, embrace thepower of small beginnings and
hold on to the magic that cancome from consistent actions.
Your journey will have ups anddowns, but you craft the story
of triumphant resilience witheach step.
So set those goals, plant theseeds, water them daily and stay
(04:36):
steadfast on your path.
You are capable and worthy andyour dreams are within reach.
Thanks for listening today.
Here's for a week filled withpurposeful actions and
unwavering belief in yourself.
Be well.
