The mission of Personnelity is to honestly approach the issues employers face in trying to create healthier, more just, diverse, equitable, and inclusive workplaces. We engage with guests to talk about workplace diversity issues and bring light to different perspectives. Through these conversations, we explore possible tools, solutions and resources for employers and employees alike.
Join Lauri Rollings and Nicolle Farup while they discuss a report the Institute for Women’s Policy Research (IWPR) recently released called “A Future Worth Building: What Tradeswomen Say about the Change They Need in the Construction Industry.” The report has some revealing insights into the challenges women face making a career in the construction trades. Joining Lauri and Nicolle is Oregon Tradeswomen’s Executive Director, Kelly Kupcak, and Oregon Tradeswomen’s Workforce Equity and Technical Assistance Director, Tiffany Thompson, who also discuss a model called RISE Up that offers solutions to the challenges the report identifies.
