n the farming world, the pandemic has proved a worthy and powerful catalyst changing how we navigate the nations food supply. The USDA reports that food insecurity has doubled and in some instances tripled from 11% in 2018 to between 22-33% as of May of this year. The COVID-19 pandemic could double the number of low and middle income people impacted by food insecurity by the end of 2020. This week’s segment Celeste Lomax of Atlanta's Food Forest and Monica A. Rainge of the Federation of Southern Cooperatives/ Land Assistance Fund will focus on food and farming diversity, food prices and availability. Dr. John Boyd will lead the discussion on diversity and the world market. We have Sha'Von Terrell of the Black Church Food Network to additionally answer the question: How can churches be proactive in her response to the demand. LOG ON, SHARE, ASK QUESTIONS, GROW!
