There is no one way to do a PhD. In our first episode, we talk to several PhD students who each take a different path. Jaya, Shaheim, Victoria, as well as our own Katie, tell us about the programmes they are doing, why they chose it, how they applied and what are their plans for the future. Fiyory tells us about her experience with applying for PhDs and deciding on a project. We also talk about being an international student in the UK, being the first person in your family to go to uni and/or study for a doctoral degree and where to get support on your journey.
