I've been chasing this neon rainbow we call filmmaking for nearly a decade. During that time I've had the opportunity to work and learn from some incredible Directors of Photography. After having some deep coffee and lunch conversations with some of them, I decided to hop on the podcast train and see if I could ride it to the top of filmmaker mountain. We tackle some of the more nuanced elements of being a cinematographer. You'll hear unique stories of each DPs journey, insights gained from years of practice, and some ideas about the job you may have overlooked.
Just a little about what this is and why it happened.

Put on some smooth jazz and let Domo Jones drive you down to widsom town in another action packed episode.
I've heard more than once that DPs are the cowboys of the industry: the rough yet romantic lead that saves the town for chaos and rides off into the sunset. And for our next guest, that is an apt description. Do yourself a favor and listen to this one under the moonlight with a pint of beer or a glass of whiskey.
