As a Follower of Jesus Christ and as a Naturopathic Medical Doctor, I understand the power of prayer in the healing journey of people. As physicians we can pray for our patients, and use herbs, nutrition and other healing modalities without compromising our faith and values.
Yet so many doctors and health professionals shy away from praying. I understand the concerns that can rise from something like this. However, prayer brings healing and hope to many people.
Today, I want to explore how prayer works, not just as a ritual—but as real power. A power that aligns spirit, soul and body with God’s healing will.”
In this episode, I discuss the following:
1. The Power of Prayer - Prayer is your Secret Weapon
2. Prayer is Your Communication directly with God
3. The Purpose of Prayer
4. The Impact of Prayer
5. Why it Makes Sense for Doctors, Clinics, and Hospitals to Incorporate Prayer
6. Natural Healing and God’s Design
7. When Healing Doesn’t Look Like We Hoped
“Natural medicine isn’t in opposition to faith—it’s a reflection of it.
God created the earth and everything in it. That includes plants with medicinal properties, rhythms of rest and work, and bodies that can often heal when nourished properly.
Many natural practitioners talk about the body’s innate ability to heal itself. As a believer, I see that as the wisdom of God woven into creation.
And when we pray, we are not rejecting physical healing methods—we’re blessing them.
Share your thoughts. Would you like your doctor and nurses to pray over you? How would this change the outcome of your health?
