Speaker 2 (01:25):
I thought he went 2-2 .
You know what?

Speaker 4 (01:27):
It wasn't 2-2.

Speaker 2 (01:29):
See look, look.

.
All right.

Speaker 2 (01:36):
And two weeks from now, super Bowl week.
I only need one.
All right, you know what I'msaying.
So it's all about getting theright one.
It's all about the right oneand I will have the right one,
so that's all that matters, man,you know what I'm saying.

Speaker 4 (01:48):
You know what I'm saying.
You better pick what I pick, because I'm three and up, but
you did.

Speaker 2 (01:53):
You went three and one.
That was a good week.
Christopher Davis went five andone.
The first week, okay, and thenthis next week.
What was it?
Two and two.
Two and two, okay, respectable, not bad.
I think Bree went two and two,but elephant in the room, okay,
I don't want to bury the lead.
It was all about the Ravensgame, all about the Ravens game.

(02:14):
So, man, but hey, shout out toeverybody Thanks for joining us.
This is going to be a greatshow.
We're definitely going to talkabout the Ravens, chris's Ravens
, chris's Lamar Jackson.
We're going to find out whathappened there.
We were joined at the hip forthat game, enjoying that game,
so we'll talk about that.
I may or may not have messedyou up and jinxed you all now.

(02:37):
We'll go into that game, man.
We're going to talk about theLions loss.
That was a heartbreaking lossfor so many people, so that was
a tough one.
So we'll talk about the Lionsloss.
That was heartbreaking loss forso many people, so that was a
tough one, so we'll talk aboutthat one.
Sorry to the Detroit fam, weknow that was rough.
We're also going to talk aboutall the coaching changes that's
going on.
The Jets why do they keep hiringdefensive coordinators?
We're going to talk about that.

(02:58):
Pete Carroll just signed withthe Raiders.
We've got the Cowboysinterviewed.
Coach Schottenheimer, okay,interesting.
We've got NBA A few quick NBAtopics that we'll dive into.
And then come on now, main event.
It is NFL Championship Week.
We're going to get into theCommanders-Eagles game.

(03:19):
We're going to get into theChiefs Bills game.
It's going to be phenomenal, all right.
And then, of course, we'll endwith Brandon and get his take on
who's going to the Super Bowl.
So, man, y'all ready for a fireshow here?
I'm ready, all right.
Okay, cool, cool.
So, man, let's go ahead andstart off.
And hey, shout out.
Keep the comments coming, butagain, again, if you want to

(03:46):
interact with us, send aquestion and, um, summer will
keep that up on the screen forus and we'll answer your
questions.
So you might have a question,uh, for chris here on this
segment.
So bring all the questions herefor chris so we can talk to our
main man.
But you know what?
I'm gonna put you on ice, chris, I'm gonna make you wait.
Wait for just just a few moreseconds.
Die Diego man.
What happened?

(04:07):
What happened in that game?
Who's to blame?
Break?

Speaker 4 (04:09):
it down for us, I think, a game like this, the
blame is to go around.
Lamar Jackson, of course, soldin the first half, having the
big fumble and then thatinterception.
I don't know where he'sthrowing it, he's throwing it
right to the DB's hands.
Yeah, so it was him in thefirst half.
Second half had Mark Andrewswith that fumble and then the

(04:30):
drop at the end of the game.
So, yeah, I think there's blameto go around here, but don't
forget about Lamar, though Notforget about him.

Speaker 2 (04:39):
Okay, okay, don't forget about Lamar Blame to go
all around.
And so I'm looking at my phone.
I think David Cook, he's ourfantasy football champion.
He looks like he may be able tojoin us mid-show and show off
the first ever Thompson trophy.
So he's messaging me.
I'm going to try to get him thelink so he can join us
midstream.
We'll have a surprise visitfrom him, so if I'm looking down

(05:01):
at that, I'm trying to get himthe information so he can.
He can join us, but all right,so, david.
So if you, dave, if you'rewatching, stay tuned, I'm gonna
get you that link in a minute, all right.
But, chris, man, dude, we'regonna give you the floor.
Man, what happened?
What happened to your guys?
Man, all, right.

Speaker 1 (05:17):
So real quick to Ravens fans and Lamar fans
please stop trying to act liketurnovers in the first half
don't matter.
That's the one thing that haskind of ticked me off, just
seeing everybody be like, oh no,but he turned the ball over.
It was in the first half, itdidn't matter.
That's the reason why they gotburied down 21-10.
Now did he play a flawless MVPquarter and Mark Andrews fumble

(05:38):
and drop that two-pointconversion?
Yes, but again, why were theyin the position to lose?
So honestly, 68% of the blameis going on Lamar, because and
it's every and again this is asa fan of him and you know I hate
getting it on the soapbox, butevery time it's like MVP.
You know he performs really andmore recently it's just last

(06:01):
year and this year Wins in thewild card round looks really
good beats one team and thenloses horribly and plays
horribly versus the team to thenext.
Why can't you stringback-to-back good performances
together?
If we're gonna, if we're gonnacall you the greatest
quarterback of this generationoutside of patrick mahomes, why
don't you show up consistentlyin the playoffs?

(06:22):
And I get it, we can.
We see the talent and we seethe flash on the field.
We see the 41 touchdowns andfour interceptions a season.
However, in the key game youhad a fumble and a very dumb
interception I don't know whoyou were throwing to that.
That killed your momentum afterthe first drive.
So then you had to work back, and you're not a team that plays
well when you're coming frombehind.

(06:42):
Y'all never done that becausey'all have been at the run,
which is the best thing thaty'all can do, and then y'all
didn't even run the ball in thefirst half.
But then when you finally werelike hey, we have derrick henry
back here, let's do it.
So I'm blaming everybody.
Like this is this, waseverybody listen, lamar?
for not to go around lamar, forjust you know, selling on the
first half.
And, mark andrews, you're notshifty.

(07:03):
Why are you trying to make amove?
And then you fumble, and then,oh, just the drop.

Speaker 3 (07:08):
Man, that was just heartbreaking, that was the snow
, oh it was the snow, okay, anyway, all right, man, we're
not going to talk, I'm going toget all of you for the Lions.

Speaker 1 (07:17):
Hold on, hold on.
Right now, we're talking aboutLeVar.
However, I just, yeah.
I think that they're too goodof a team to constantly keep
saying we beat ourselves, webeat ourselves.
You know what team doesn't beatthemselves and has won three
Super Bowls Kansas City, In fact.
The only time that they beatthemselves was versus Joe Burrow
, and when Bones was still ababy, going against Tom Brady.

(07:38):
Every other time, though, theyshow up, so I don't know.

Speaker 2 (07:42):
So, speaking of the Chiefs, are you now going to go
on the Chiefs bandwagon?
Wait a minute.

Speaker 1 (07:47):
Don't answer that yet .
Bandwagon is crazy.
Bandwagon is crazy.
I'm a Lamar fan.

Speaker 4 (07:54):
I was never, saying I'm going, are you going?

Speaker 2 (07:56):
to join that light-skinned boogeyman Not at
all.

Speaker 1 (08:00):
Let's see If he has a chance to make history shout
out to him.
But, like you know, we're goingto see.
All right, we're going to see,we're going to see.

Speaker 2 (08:07):
So Diego is the silver lining that Lamar will be
there in person to get histhird MVP.

Speaker 4 (08:14):
Yeah, I mean, it's a tradition.
You know he's got to be therein person to receive it.
That's a professional thing.
You got to be there.
Okay, some people don't,because they got play.
They got another game to play, but uh-huh, lamar doesn't have.
But that can't, lamar will bethere.

Speaker 2 (08:30):
He will definitely be there okay, as always, he'll be
there, as always, okay allright so, so, chris, you know,
lamar, is he gonna?
Is he gonna be there to getthis mvp?

Speaker 1 (08:42):
award.
Yeah, you know, go have hisnice suit on.
You know a couple shades, youknow probably his nice suit on
you know Okay.

Speaker 2 (08:47):
A couple shades, you know probably have the grills in
.
You know doing his thing Allright, oh yeah, you know, okay,
okay.
So is this a good or bad thing?

Speaker 1 (08:57):
Man, listen if you're .
I was already mad with thesecond MVP losing to the AFC
Championship.
But having your like whateverybody's saying, like an
all-time great quarterbackseason that we all witnessed and
we were all like this is theseason You're playing the best
quarterback, the best, you'rehaving the best quarterback play
you've had in your entire lifeand, you know, falls flat on
your face.
It's just like, okay, well,he's going to get the award.

(09:19):
Everybody's going to be like, hey, yeah, lamar, but you know,
yeah, I'm not even going to talkabout how I want them to play
next year, unless there's Well, this is why, again, we told you
behind that you shouldn't beworried about the MVP.

Speaker 2 (09:34):
You shouldn't even want the MVP award.

Speaker 4 (09:37):
I said I wanted the Super Bowl MVP.

Speaker 1 (09:39):
I said I wanted the Super Bowl MVP, but right about
now he ain't even close, heain't even going to pass the
second round.

Speaker 2 (09:48):
You already know what I'm doing.
Okay, week two, when we haveour show and we're recapping
week one, I'm already starting aLamar for MVP train.
It's a regular season award, lamar is the greatest regular
season player ever.
It is a regular season award.
It is a regular season.

Speaker 1 (10:07):
It is a regular season award, that's right and
people are comparing his arc topayton manning's and maybe next
year he'll finally like breakthrough on one one.
But like, oh, yeah, like, whatare we doing?
Yeah, as ravenous fans I don'tknow how, I don't know how, like
real ravens fans like fullyhave hope, because I'm just, I'm
literally just a fan of oneplayer.
I just want him to do well.

Speaker 2 (10:27):
So is he eligible?
No, no more MVPs.
Okay, so no more, no matterwhat he does next year, I don't
care if he throws for 50touchdowns and runs for 1,000
yards in one season.

Speaker 1 (10:36):
He should not win another MVP because there's
something about this award thatprevents him.
Hey, be hungry.
Feel like you're snubbed.
Don't feel like you deserve theaward.
Feel like you're snubbed.
Maybe that'll put some fireunder your tail.
This is ridiculous.

Speaker 2 (10:48):
I've got a hot take for you on this.
All right, we're done beatingup.
We're done beating you up, sodon't worry about that, we're
done.
Good sport.
My dog got a hot take, sohorrible, okay.

(11:10):
I don't think he's the rightcoach for this team now.
He's too easy going,everything's okay.
He doesn't quite quite, youknow, clap it up like some of
the other coaches, you know, back in the day, but
everything's positive, everybody's pat lamar on the
back.
You know they need the rightfire, they need the right
battery put in their back, so tospeak.
Now it worked back in the daywhen they had Ray Lewis, because

(11:31):
Ray Lewis was that fire rah, rah, look, let's get it together
, let's go out here dominate.
Harbaugh's not that kind ofcoach, I actually feel, and I
don't think he's the right coachfor any other team.
But this coach I, deon sanders, would be the perfect coach for
the baltimore ravens.
He would bring that swagger inand I think lamar jackson would

(11:51):
have a whole different vibegoing into the big game and I
think that's what would get themover the hump.
I think harbaugh is a fantasticcoach and I think he's a
perfect coach for many teams, but I don't think he's the right
coach for the baltimore ravensas currently constructed, and I
don't think deon's the rightcoach for the cowboys, but I
feel deon sanders would be theperfect coach for the baltimore

(12:12):
ravens.
I think he could actually getthem over the hump.

Speaker 1 (12:15):
Yeah, that's a great take.
I'm not.

Speaker 2 (12:17):
I wouldn't be mad at that I just I love to see that.
Yeah, all right.
So all right, hey, let's moveon.
We have so much to cover and Idon't know how we're going to do
this in an hour, but we'regoing to do our best.
So let's move on and talk aboutthe Lions here.
All right, let me change theslide up, okay, and we're going
to bring our very own Brianna onthe show, who's going to be

(12:41):
here in two weeks for our big,big show at Kings.
Now, hey, this show at Kings isgoing to be fire.
We've been announcing specialguests left and right.
I'm going to tell you right now.
I've been talking to a lot ofpeople that are saying they're
getting their tickets.
We've already sold a lot oftickets.
There's not a whole lot ofspots left.
If you don't get your ticketthis upcoming week, you are not

(13:01):
going to be able to get into theshow, and then you're going to
be calling, you're going to bemad, or you're going to show up
and try to get in and you arenot going to be able to get in.
So get your ticket thisupcoming week, or you will not
be able to get in, all right.
So, with that said, let's goahead and bring on Brianna.
What's up?
Hi All right, how you doing, I'mgood.

(13:28):
That did not sound convincingat all, brianna.

Speaker 3 (13:31):
Yeah, just like you know, the Lions.

Speaker 2 (13:34):
Yeah, lions, that was a tough one.
That was a tough one.
So, hey, break it down for us.
Tell us about the game and justwhat's your take on the lions
and their future.
We'll go wherever you want togo with this one.

Speaker 3 (13:48):
Okay.
So first of all, I'mdisappointed in them because
they play way better than that.
I feel like there's really noexcuse, cause you know like
they've been playing good allseason without a lot of their
defensive players and all of asudden, this one game, it just
all falls apart and everyone'slike you know they're not good
under pressure and everything, but they have been because

(14:10):
they've been winning.
And then this one game theydon't, and that makes me so mad.
And Jared Goff threw picks andthen they gave it to Williams
and then he threw a pick andlike why are you trying to do
that trick?
Play when you're losing, likedo that if you're winning, like
right, you know, and so all that.
And then our coach is leaving.
But I don't think that's goingto be a problem because dan

(14:31):
campbell's such a good headcoach who turned around the
lines that we don't need themand they're going to terrible
teams anyway.
So that's going to take yearsfor them anyway.
So it doesn't really matteryeah, now you will have.

Speaker 2 (14:43):
So it'll be interesting when, uh, you play
the bears and then you got, youknow, ben johnson right there.
We'll see how long it takesthem to get things on the right
track there, you know, havinghim in the division.
But we're going to.
We're going to talk about uhglenn going to the jets and the
jets hiring yet anotherdefensive coordinator.
So we'll definitely dive intothat.

(15:04):
But, you know, do you think itwas more injuries while they
lost this game, or did themoment become too big for them?
What side do you lean on rightnow with?

Speaker 3 (15:15):
that you know I want to say injuries, but they've
been doing so good already withall the injuries that they
already do have.
So I think it just it was toomuch and they just couldn't get
it done.
I think they just folded underthe pressure.
But I'm hoping next year willbe our year.
I said that last year for thisyear, but you know I'll say it
every year because you know thecardinals they're not anytime

(15:36):
soon.

Speaker 2 (15:36):
No, no, cardinals, yeah, they're not.
Uh, definitely, definitely notdoing it, no matter who they
bring in, let's get the takes ofthe fellas here.
So, diego, let's just kind ofgo with the last question.
Was it injuries or was themoment too big for the Lions
last week?

Speaker 4 (15:53):
I put that more on the injuries because in the
regular season their Lions are areally talented team, but in
the playoffs the intensity justgets different and the
Commanders they're a good team.
So to be without the injuries, injuries be without the people
they had, that was definitely animpact.
Yes, I put that more in theinjuries.

(16:13):
I mean they went to the NFCChampionship game last year.
They did and they could havegone to the Super.

Speaker 2 (16:19):
Bowl they could have.
They kind of came out ofnowhere and then all of a sudden
the playoffs got very hot, verycommander-ish, yeah.
So you know, you can argueeither way with that, but love
your.
Take Chris.
What do you think?
Is it more injuries, or did themoment seem a little too big
for them?

Speaker 1 (16:39):
Yeah, the moment seemed too big.
And there's a rookiequarterback who somebody didn't
want to hear from ever again, you know, in the biggest moment,
his biggest moment, going onthe road in the fourth field,
mind you, with terry mclaurin, awide receiver who everybody has
forgotten about, in diami brown, who nobody really rates, and
zach ertz in old man, zach ertz,um, I, I just, I just wanted to

(17:03):
say that real quick before weblame that on injuries real
quick because the moment wasn'ttoo big for that guy, but
unfortunately for jared goff, you know, it was a little big
for him.
I mean the picks, just thefumble.
I mean frankie lou vu did lighthim up though, so that was a
little.
I'm not gonna lie, that was alittle dirty play by lou vu.
I I was.
I don't know why he went ledwith the helmet.
That was was concerning duringthe game that they didn't throw

(17:25):
a flag on that.
If that was Mahomes, I'm justsaying you know, some
paratroopers would have came inand got that boy off the field,
but I think that he'd be out ofhere, like out of the league.
Yeah, they'd taken him out, butI do think that overall, when it
comes to when it comes to thelions, I think the moment was a

(17:47):
bit too big for them and becausethey weren't used to winning, I
think that that kind of got tothem because, again, with the
nfc championship, so many ofthose games were that just like
they, they got big, they doubleddown on like, oh, we're going
for it on fourth down this game,it's like we're not going to do
that as much and we're notgoing to stick to what has kept

(18:08):
us there, because if you watchsome of the plays, jameer Gibbs
should have had the ball more aswell.

Speaker 2 (18:15):
He definitely should have.

Speaker 1 (18:16):
I think everybody was too big for him.

Speaker 2 (18:18):
Yeah, they didn't look like themselves.
Injuries are clearly a point.
I think two things can be truehere, but they did have.
They just had a different lookin their eye, and I also
attribute it to having both ofyour coordinators listed as

(18:38):
being gone.
And when we look at the history, normally when there's that
team that has two hotcoordinators and they're
spending their time interviewingteam that has two hot
coordinators and they'respending their time interviewing
, clearly they've been havingconversations because, good
gracious, was it what?
The next day, ben johnson hadthe job.
So you know, clearly theirattention was elsewhere and

(18:59):
normally when you have thatsituation, the teams don't end
up finishing the job.
They might not lose first round, but a lot of times they end up
falling short because they'rethey're divided so much.
So, brie, we'll get you out ofhere on this one.
Then, of course, we'll bringyou back for the ultimate
discussion that we'll have alittle later.

(19:20):
But, coach Campbell, what'd youthink of his coaching on um
this past week?
Was he?
Was he as aggressive as henormally is?

Speaker 3 (19:30):
no, they always go for it and I don't know I think
that one trick play withwilliams, like that was a little
aggressive but it was not atthe right moment or the right
game for that one.

Speaker 2 (19:42):
So yeah, yeah, it just sucked yeah, I felt he was
a little I.

Speaker 4 (19:48):
I don't know why jamo was throwing it, though like
right, I mean yeah, like youshouldn't have had him.

Speaker 1 (19:55):
No, no, he should not just get him above yeah, he
scored the touchdown, he he gotrunning oh, we have a question
on here as well, okay, so.

Speaker 2 (20:04):
So, brianna, there's a question for you.
Let's see, how did you feelabout some of those calls or
non-calls when we watch them?
Coddle Mahomes, oh yeah, yeah.
So we're definitely going toget into that a little more, but
I tell you what.
Yeah, yeah, go ahead and touchon that, but we have a whole
segment on that as well.
But anything you want to leadoff with on that summer.

Speaker 3 (20:28):
I mean Bree, Not good , they need to stop basically
yeah, yeah, that's rough.

Speaker 2 (20:33):
I mean in that game I mean the Texans could have
pulled that off.

Speaker 3 (20:39):
I thought they would.

Speaker 2 (20:40):
The Texans could have pulled that off.
And again, a lot of Chiefs fans.
They'll argue the total yardsand total number of penalties.
But with the Chiefs it's notalways about the number of
penalties, it's when the penaltyis called, it's when it's third
down and the other team's aboutto get off the field, it's the

(21:01):
timeliness of those penalties.
Is what uh is, you know, playsinto their favor.
So much so, yeah, the key thingthere all right, okay.
And then summer was talkingabout okay, no calls on golf.
Were there some no calls ongolf?

Speaker 1 (21:15):
the freaky lou who hit when he threw the
interception yeah, what's yourtake on that brie?

Speaker 3 (21:21):
you know, it is what it is at the end of the day,
because they're already out solike whatever.
But yeah, I don't know.
It's just annoying as a lionsfan because we've been waiting
for forever and then yeah, theyyeah done anything so okay, all
right.

Speaker 2 (21:40):
Who breathe?
Well, we will see you a littlelater in the show.
As we make our picks, we'll see.
Is anybody going to be on theisland?
Anybody going to take some ofthese pure green shots today?
We're going to see.
We're going to find out.
We also have an island hat here, so we're taking our island to
another level.
That's, if somebody's on theisland, we're going to see.
Are y'all on the island?
Anybody on the island?
We'll see.

Speaker 1 (22:01):
We'll see, okay, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (22:03):
You have to keep watching to see if anybody's on
the island.
All right, okay, bree, we'llsee you in a little bit, all
right, okay, all right, cool,cool.
Well, let's keep it rolling.
Let's get into this coachingcarousel, guys, all right?
So the Jets?
The Jets continue to hiredefensive coordinators.

(22:26):
I believe eight out of theirlast nine coaches have been
defensive coordinators and theJets have not really had any
winning in a long, long time.
So you know, you would thinkthat it may want to switch it up
, but no, that does not seem tobe the case.
Now, aaron Glenn he has a, hehas a history with the Jets,

(22:49):
played for them, uh, actuallywants to coach there.
So maybe that's that led intothe decision.
But, diego, what's your take onthis man?

Speaker 4 (22:58):
I just think they should stop like I'm I mean like
you, you've always gone todefensive coordinator and then
the offense has always been badbecause they don't know how to.
Well, a lot of defensivecoordinators can't really know
how to don't really know how tocoach the offense as good Right,
and that just caused them notto be able to win, because you
need to put points on the boardto win and, yeah, I just don't

(23:21):
know why they don't switch it up.
Especially with Aaron Rodgersbeing there, you would think
that he would want to bring anoffensive guy in, but I guess
not me.
Never know, with the Jets youwould think so.

Speaker 2 (23:33):
What do you think, Chris?

Speaker 1 (23:36):
I mean Aaron Rodgers did bring his best buddy,
nathaniel Hackett, and we sawhow he played this year, how the
team was when they didn't havehim and then when they had him
this year.
It is perpetual ineptitude.
And then when your team is runby your quarterback who
unfortunately, unlike a LeBronJames, can actively help with

(23:58):
the roster of a team, it causessome issues.
I mean you got your best widereceiver and I love Devontae
Adams, but I'm sorry GarrettWilson was balling this year.
You have your best widereceiver in trade rumors.
You hire a defensive coordinatorwho just let up 48 points and
again Aaron Glenn was making itwork.
He was making it work up untilthe commanders gave him a

(24:19):
knockoff Discount, that.
But I think that you got to getsomebody, you got to get a
wonder kid and hopefully AaronGlenn just sticks to being a
culture guy like his predecessor, like how he was with, like dan
campbell, and he's, like youknow, motivating the troops and
he has a bunch of good defensivepieces to work with down in new
york.
He does.
But until that office gets ontrack, especially in a division

(24:42):
with the dolphins, with thepatriots who now have rabel and
have actually like a promisingrookie quarterback, then having
to face Josh Allen.
You got to do something, sohopefully Aaron Glenn hires that
like next offensive coordinatorWunderkin whoever- but, yeah,
that's yeah, we'll see.
I always root for, you know, blackhead coaches, but it's a

(25:05):
daunting task with the mess thatis known as the New York Jets.

Speaker 2 (25:08):
Yeah, it's going to be tough, man Diego, do you give
him more than a year?

Speaker 4 (25:15):
No, no, no, definitely not.
This may even be an in-seasonfire.
Wow, I'm not confident at all.
You think so really.
I think it's possible,definitely.
No more than one year, and it'sprobably not even going to be
his fault.
It's just because the leagueneeds more offense.

(25:36):
Head coaches, that's what wins, and the Jets, if they don't
have a good offense, they'rejust not going to win.

Speaker 2 (25:47):
Yeah, that's tough.
I see two years at the maximum.
He definitely could be acasualty, just like the Raiders
coach was and a lot of othercoaches that take over, yeah,
yeah, lovey and everything likethat.
So, yeah, I don't see himlasting more than two years at

(26:08):
most.
Um, but they're, they're gonnahave to win.
They're probably gonna have towin at least six games in order
for him to be there more than athan a year.
If he wins this, because whatthey went four this year.

Speaker 4 (26:19):
Yeah, four or five.

Speaker 1 (26:20):
Yeah, yeah, four or five so the hall of fame
quarterback right with the hallof shame, so he'll have to at
least win six, and yeah, thatmay be difficult.

Speaker 4 (26:25):
He'll have to at least win six, and that may be
difficult it may be, and AaronRodgers, I doubt he's getting
any better by this point in hiscareer.

Speaker 2 (26:35):
For sure, for sure, okay, well, we're going to keep.
Let's keep the graphic here, but we're going to stay on the
coaching for a little bit.
So next, pete Carroll.
Okay, we got breaking news withPete Carroll he just signed
with the Raiders.
What's your take on this, diego?

Speaker 4 (26:53):
I mean, I don't really know how he's going to
help them while they'recurrently constructed, because
they just got so many problems.
This is more than the coachingright now.
I think they're just going tohave to build the team up a
little more and just get alittle better.
Okay.

Speaker 2 (27:09):
What's your quick take on this one?

Speaker 1 (27:10):
I just think that Pete Carroll I mean Hall of Fame
coach great division, but itreally doesn't move me like this
much right now with the.
Raiders?
Not at all.

Speaker 2 (27:20):
Yeah, I mean they have so many holes.
I mean they can bring Lombardiin for that team.
I don't think anybody's goingto do anything with the Raiders
at this point.
I'm more curious to see do theymake any draft moves to try to
get Shador and whatnot?
That's the bigger questionright now.
But I love Pete Carroll as acoach.
But again, another defensiveguy.

(27:42):
The offense is awful.
What can he really do with thatteam?
I don't know what anybody cando with the Raiders right now.
And then the last coachingtopic before we move on, talk a
little bit of NBA before we getto these NFC, the NFC and AFC
championship game the Cowboys.
The Cowboys just interviewedyou can keep it there the

(28:04):
Cowboys just interviewed CoachSchottenheimer.
What's up with?

Speaker 4 (28:09):
that, coach Schottenheimer.

Speaker 2 (28:12):
Wasn't he the current uh coordinator?
He?

Speaker 4 (28:14):
was a coordinator for somebody he's a coordinator for
the cowboys somebody else yeah,he was a coordinator for
someone else but uh, I meanthat's really a big, a big
nothing.
Right that for for me, yeah, Ithink, I think I think ben
johnson was the guy he was.
But you know, hey, if they makea low key just kind of higher,

(28:35):
like that, maybe it's a goodthing, just kind of take the
attention off of them.

Speaker 2 (28:39):
They just kind of build right yeah, but there's
been so much discussion aboutdeon sanders, you know they got
the fan base excited.
Dion, dion, even the you knowpeople close to Deion.
It seemed like they knewsomething, looked like he was
going to go there.
Now that's calming down.
We're not hearing much moreabout that.
And now they interview CoachSchottenheimer.

(29:01):
I feel like they bring him in.
It's going to be a huge letdownfor.

Speaker 4 (29:06):
Cowboy Nation.
Yeah, the fans.
Yeah, I mean, that's they hypedit up so much.

Speaker 2 (29:09):
They might as well have kept McCarthy if they were
going to do that.
You pretty much in line withthat, Chris.

Speaker 1 (29:15):
Yeah, because I think that people forget Mike
McCarthy.
Regardless of how you feelabout him, he coached the
Packers like H-3 division titles, and then, on top of that, they
were the Cowboys, went to theplayoffs a couple times Now,
like they were the cowboys, likewent to the playoffs a couple

(29:36):
times now, right, did theyperform well?
Is that on his coaching or isit on dag prescott
underperforming well?
We also got to think about thatas well.
So I think that just for thecowboys and like just how this
whole fan base is, like seanharper is let down.
But I think that I don't knowwhat.
I don't know what jerry can dountil jerry jones gets out of
his own way, because, again, ifhe just wants to be the GM and
not the like voice box, likepulling every little string, he

(29:56):
just needs to stick to drafting, cause that's the only thing
he's still good at.
Everything else it's kind ofjust be the GM and you know,
basically like making themarketable, that's all he should
do.
Everything else just leave tothe coaches, please, cause this
making them marketable, that'sall he should do Everything else
.

Speaker 2 (30:12):
just leave to the coaches, please, because this is
crazy.
All right, yeah, yeah, I agree, man, I agree.
Well, let's get to a little bitof NBA, all right, so we can
just go to the logo.
On this one, let's talk.
Diego man, let's mess with youa little bit.
You know we messed with Christo start the show off with his
Ravens, and we're going to comeback to you on your Lakers,
though, so we're not done withyou, chris.
The love is not going anywhere.

(30:34):
But, diego, I believe you saidon this show a couple of months
ago that the Warriors were goingto be what was that?
Fifth seed?
He said, chris, do you thinkthat was about what he said?
Fifth seed and Steph Currystill had so much in the tank.
And oh, and you know, stephCurry, you know, still had so
much in the tank.
And oh, man, they got BuddyHeald.
And you know they got rid ofKlay because Klay was holding

(30:54):
them back so much.
And oh man, they just you knowpoised to have a great regular
season and now they are justtrash.

Speaker 4 (31:03):
They look terrible, we're not trash, we're just mid.
We're just really, really mid.

Speaker 1 (31:11):
I mean when y'all are the greatest dynasty of all
time going to mid is kind ofcrazy for that fan base.

Speaker 4 (31:13):
It's mainly all Draymond's fault.
Because, ever since he punchedJordan Poole we were about to
make a second dynasty, but thenhe just punched Jordan Poole and
then that ruined it.

Speaker 1 (31:25):
I'm not gonna lie like needing like a third score
outside of well, third scoreoutside of well, another score
outside of staff is definitelywhat you need for that team, and
he was the best at it.
Now, was he good on defense?
No, so not a lot, but you knowhe always hits like momentum
swinging shots and that's whatjordan pool did, okay, and uh,
yeah, you know you got the guywho said he was telling him hey,

(31:46):
get over it on social mediaafter he punched him in the face
, which I don't know.
I don't know if you saw theinternet that day after you
punched him, but I wouldn't getover it either.
It would forever be smoking.

Speaker 2 (31:58):
He's Superman.
Yeah, man, you need to lean allthe way into it.

Speaker 1 (32:02):
Yeah, all the way into that punch man.
Yeah, I just, I don't know.
I hope that for the Warriors'sake, you know, steph needs to
just start riding off of thesunset man, it's not looking
good and again.
The worst thing to be in anysports league is be in the
middle.
You either got to be trashed toget good picks or be competing
for championships, andunfortunately I don't think the
Warriors can do that.

Speaker 2 (32:29):
So, Diego, do the Warriors go ahead and sign Steph
Curry to a nice, you know, three, four year max extension?
Do you think that's?

Speaker 4 (32:31):
the solution to this.
I think Steph might have tojust retire.

Speaker 2 (32:37):
I don't want to see him go out like this your mom
might be watching, so she mayhave a problem with that.
I'm sorry, it's just bad.

Speaker 4 (32:45):
We're just a bad situation.
Right now.
We're too mid.
Something just needs to change.
We just got to make a big moveor just start rebuilding and, uh
yeah, start over, all rightokay, all right.

Speaker 2 (32:58):
Well, all right.
Well, let's move on to thelakers, all right?

Speaker 1 (33:04):
actually before we we start the roasting session.

Speaker 2 (33:06):
still, the five seats are good, sir, good take Okay,
well, but however what we wantto talk about as far as the
Lakers go, is that AD okay, street clothes.
He recently said in the newsthat they need a center.
Of course they need more help.
A center, all right, yeah, yeah.

Speaker 4 (33:24):
Interesting thought.
He needs a center.

Speaker 2 (33:26):
But they need some help, they need a center.
They always this time of yearare complaining about the roster
and want to mortgage the future.
That's one thing.
I'll give Steph Curry props towhere he doesn't want to
necessarily mortgage the futureto get a mid-player and advance
to the second round.

(33:47):
So I give him props for that.
But the Lakers purely don'tcare about that.
They'll mortgage these.
Well, not the ownership, but um, ad and lebron, they don't care
about the future at all.
They'll mortgage it just toadvance another round and not
sniff a title.
True, what's your thoughts onon the lakers with that man?

Speaker 1 (34:06):
yeah, my thing is, we've been saying we need a
center for a minute and my wholething is just because AD
doesn't want to bang with thebetter bigs in the league, they
started defending him and hejust wants to help defend
himself and I get that and weshould have signed a center
before.
But at this point I mean we'rethe fifth seed LeBron is still

(34:29):
performing at like a decentlevel.
I'm not expecting that's thething.
Again, we're like a higher formof mid, I guess.
Like it's like we're on thelike higher end of the spectrum
of being mid where it's like hey, we look good most nights, but
then, like, we still need alittle bit of help.
Yes, we're currently better atbeing mid than the Golden State.
And listen, I see those youngboys and they okay.

(34:53):
See, I'm sorry, I have no ideahow we're going to beat them.
So I just think that, as aLakers fan, like, hey, let's try
to make a trade.
For you know, the guy LeBrondunked on Valanchunas.
He's always been a solid,dependable center.
But you know, first and secondround exit.

(35:16):
I'm not seeing too much ofLeBron getting his fifth ring.
That chance was two years ago.
Then we got swept by theNuggets.
So you know what?
It'll be fine, it's fine.

Speaker 4 (35:24):
You know what I think ?
I think AD should start playingcenter because he's seven feet
tall, he averages 26 and 10 isone of the best defenders in the
league.
So just play center.
Dude, Like what are you doing?

Speaker 1 (35:35):
I mean his whole thing is him.
Y'all keep calling him streetclothes, but him actively like
going up against real centers.
Right, it's not going to begood.
He's going to be a streetclothes even more.

Speaker 4 (35:47):
That's his fault.

Speaker 1 (35:48):
That is his fault I'm not saying that his effort
isn't his fault.

Speaker 4 (35:52):
You can't bathe him like that man.
No, you can't.

Speaker 2 (35:53):
He's supposed to be from the Chi.
Come on, man, you can'trepresent Chicago like that and
not want to bang.

Speaker 3 (35:59):
Man, that's what we're known for.

Speaker 2 (36:00):
You know what I'm saying.
We're known for being tough andhard and all that.
Come on, lead your team to atitle.
And there's the other thing Arethey both making an all-star
team Again?

Speaker 4 (36:11):
LeBron and AD.
I think they're both starters,both starters.

Speaker 1 (36:16):
I think LeBron's no Jokic is starting.
It's LeBron AD.

Speaker 4 (36:18):
Steph and Chad AD at Power Forward and Jokic.

Speaker 1 (36:22):
No, it's LeBron Steph .

Speaker 2 (36:23):
AD Jokic.

Speaker 1 (36:25):
Right, but they're both there so they're both going
to be there because you knowit's the Lakers and you know
Anthony Davis and LeBron.
But again, it's crazy that wehave two all-stars and then the
fans of the team are like, yeah,I don't know if we're going to
make the playoffs.
I don't know if we're going tobe a player, it's just the

(36:51):
championship in the bubble.
That's kind of been our wholestory.
We have two very greatall-stars who, on any night,
look like the best players inthe nba right, and then our
supporting cast just doesn'tcome to sound.

Speaker 4 (36:55):
I'm like so it'll be okay, but you have two all-stars
.
It's on you, yeah you guys areyou guys are what makes the team
go exactly it's on them and I'mtired.

Speaker 2 (37:04):
If you ask anybody, they will swear up and down that
ad is having a great year.
All right, but if he's havingsuch a great year, why are they
so mid?

Speaker 1 (37:14):
I don't understand our bench and roster
construction and we just don'thave good we don't have, we
don't.
That's on us that is on thefront office and that's also on
lebron and ad, you know, justhaving subnets where they're
like not on and subnets wherethey look like the best players
in the world.
It's very frustrating, I know, when you see a team like OKC

(37:35):
with all these like very youngcomplimentary players they have
one all-star but they have somany complimentary pieces to
said all-star.
Boston possibly has two likegreat perennial all-stars and
pieces around them that couldcompliment them.
We just have two all-stars,that's it.
We have two all-stars andAustin Reeves when he wants to
turn up.
That's it.

Speaker 2 (37:55):
I guarantee you, outside of Chet and SGA, you put
anybody on OKC on the Lakersand mid-season they'll be crying
, talking about they don't haveany help.

Speaker 1 (38:08):
Give us Jalen Williams and I'll be cool.
Or Isaiah Harkstead Give usIsaiah Harkstead.

Speaker 4 (38:15):
Jalen Williams, SGA Chet.
They're their own category,Everyone else.

Speaker 1 (38:21):
We won a championship with Caruso.
What are we talking about here?
Not now?
Not now because nobody else isthe whole thing with that bubble
team is there was a perfectroster.
There was a point guard inRondo who could take the
pressure off of us.
There was Dwight.
Howard, who was an actualcenter.

Speaker 4 (38:38):
There was so many the what team?

Speaker 1 (38:41):
The bubble team.

Speaker 2 (38:42):
Okay, nah we ain't getting into a bubble discussion
on this.
I've already been on the race.
You said it.
We're not going there, we'renot going there, we're not going
there.
We didn't say it, we didn't sayit, we didn't say it.
All right, I got one more topicbefore we move on to the NFC
championship game, and this isnot even part of the script here
, but it's something that hashit me that I want to talk about

(39:05):
LaMelo Ball.
All right, so this is off thecuff.
I think he is one of the mostoverrated players to ever play
sport.
What's y'all's take on LaMeloand why is he on the all-star
team, shooting 42% from thefield?

Speaker 4 (39:23):
I mean I like Lomelo Plays for the Hornets, I mean
hometown team, I like him.
He's a cool guy, but it's justthe field goal percentage man.
He just jacks up a bunch ofshots.

Speaker 2 (39:37):
That's the only thing .
He's jacking from half courtoff of one lay and he makes two
of them.

Speaker 4 (39:42):
He's a great player, but it's just.
Yeah, he just takes so manyshots.
If you put anyone on that teamtaking that many shots, they
should be averaging 30.

Speaker 2 (39:51):
Yes, yes and whatever else to average.
Yes, if I took as many shots ashim, I'd average at least 25.

Speaker 4 (39:56):
I'd take that many shots.
I'm averaging 50.

Speaker 1 (40:01):
But anyway, he's just Mr Highlight reel.
Like you know, when a player, like you know, gets all the hype
because of everything he can do, just you know, I feel like
with him and sometimes Jar, likewe see like it's more about
their highlights of what are thecrazy stuff that they can do,
more so than their actual, likehelping the team.

(40:21):
And yeah, actually it's weirdwith Memphis because Jar can be
injured and that that team stilllike truck trucks along for
some reason, and also jaronjackson is another person I
believe should be an all-starthis year because of how well
he's been playing for thegrizzlies.
Yeah, I think it's a job.
But for lamello, it's just.
You know it's, mr, really youknow, you got it, you got.

(40:41):
The nba has having theirviewership issues, so you might
as well have one of the mosttalked about guys make the
all-star team I guess, I guess,yeah, it's all about that,
because now ja had no job, doeshis thing.

Speaker 2 (40:53):
He's led them to, you know, uh, playoffs and all of
that.

Speaker 1 (40:56):
But I know I'm just mostly talking about like the
best that he gets in, despitelike all the highlights that he
does right?

Speaker 4 (41:02):
yeah, well, it's just taking advantage of being on a
bad team yeah, yes, he is hedefinitely is getting his shots
up for real.

Speaker 2 (41:11):
All right, okay.
Well, let's get into the nfcand afc championship games.
Let's make these picks, let'ssee is anybody going to be on
the island?
We can't have anybody on theisland with nfc and afc
championship can we?
i'm'm scared.
Oh man, this is going to beinteresting.
These shots just might go towaste.
These healthy, pure green shots, we'll see.

(41:31):
So we got Heartbeat here.
We've got Blue Biotic here.
We've got Tumeric and we havethe Green Boost All right, so
we're going to see which one ofthese we take.
And we also have the hat hereIs take, and we also have the

(41:56):
hat here.
Is it gonna go to waste?
Who knows?
Commanders versus eagles thephiladelphia eagles are a
six-point favorite at home.
Oh boy, saquon jalen hurts thewhole crew.
We got, uh our guys.
He gonna be reading uh books,aj brown, we're gonna see what
we have, but before we dig intothis, we cannot start this
without brie.
Let's bring brie back, brianna, what's up?
hi again all right, hey, hey, okay.
So let's get into the mainevent here.
Let's get into these games.
Diego, let's go ahead and startwith you, give us your take on

(42:21):
the game and then maybe just endit off with uh, your pick you
know the eagles.

Speaker 4 (42:26):
they're at home.
I mean, they got loaded team.
But guess what?
I'm going with Jaden Daniels,I'm going with the Commanders,
I'm going with them.
They impressed me a lot withthe win against the Lions.

Speaker 3 (42:42):
I'm just going with them.
If you watch the, Eagles game.

Speaker 4 (42:44):
They were Jalen Hurts and Saquon.
They looked like they gotbanged up.
In that game.
They got some O-linemen thathad been injured and I just
think, okay, I just think thewear and tear is going to show
in this next game.
They're going to be playingtired.
And Jayden Daniels, he's gotthe poise and I hate that he's
still in the playoffs.
But you know, still I, you know, still I'm going to go with it.

Speaker 2 (43:06):
Okay, you got that hate out of your heart.

Speaker 4 (43:08):
That is all right, got that hate out of your heart.
The smile is what it is, so nowthat smile, the smile is way to
another round.

Speaker 2 (43:15):
So now that smile because, again, you love the
Jaden Daniels smile if you'rerooting for him and you hate it
if you're going against him.
It's the most aggravating thingin the world if you're going
against them.
Now, oh, this is something wenoticed in the Ravens game.
There was one, there were a fewtimes, when your boy Lamar was
trying to do the Jaden Danielssmile and it didn't quite come

(43:36):
out.
It didn't.
It had more of a nervous toneto it.

Speaker 1 (43:40):
Yeah, no.

Speaker 2 (43:41):
It didn't quite look the same.

Speaker 1 (43:43):
Yeah, he was shaking up.

Speaker 2 (43:44):
Yeah, yeah it didn't look the same, but anyway we're
not going.
I'm sorry we, we did, I Ididn't, I don't know this
episode.

Speaker 1 (43:54):
I was, I was.
You know if I could dish out Icould take it.
I was talking spicy with theone and three stuff.
He's one in three, oh no, theonly three on the island.
Yeah, yeah, remember when thathappened.
But anyway, I'm actually goingwith the Commanders because you
know and Diego.
I'm surprised, bro, like dude, like the hate was at an all-time

(44:17):
high, like I've seen yourvitriol for CJ like over the
months.

Speaker 4 (44:21):
But as long as we got CJ out, that's the main thing.

Speaker 1 (44:24):
Oh, so it was just like you wanted to get CJ out.
I think you actually respect adude who's actually hooping and
going into road territories.

Speaker 4 (44:31):
Cj's just overrated yeah got you, got you.

Speaker 1 (44:34):
So Jay's not overrated.
I just want to hear that realquick before I finish talking
about my thing.

Speaker 4 (44:38):
Jayden is the real deal.
He's not overrated right now.

Speaker 1 (44:41):
Alright, thank you, just needed that.
Alright, now for me, now for me.
I think that, just seeing howspecial Jaden is and just how
calm and the moment's not toobig for him, I don't think this
whole season, it seems likeevery single moment where
regular rookie quarterbackswould fold or, you know, just
not play at their best, he'sgone above and beyond.

(45:04):
And, yeah, you know, andbecause you know, just for my
auntie Ethel, like just kind oflike are you know I'm?
And because you know, just formy auntie ethel, like just kind
of like our, you know, alwayssupporting her and like
everything that she did for mewhen I was a little kid, seeing
her team, you know, go this far.
It's been really cool.
So shout out to jaden niggles, hopefully, hopefully, you win
this one, bro, and I, I know I'mI don't know if I'll be lucky,

(45:24):
if y'all with this, well, whichwould be crazy, that would be a
daunting task, daunting task.
But yeah, let's, let's see it.
Let's see what jane nagels does.
Okay, all right man.

Speaker 2 (45:35):
Okay, all right, so two for the commanders,
commanders on the road six pointunderdog are you guys?
Are, are you all a little um,you know prisoner of the moment.
A little bit here.

Speaker 1 (45:49):
I mean the Detroit wouldn't move me.
Like, regardless of how thatdefense played, like that team
was 15-2.
It was way better on paper thanI'm sorry, brianna, I don't
want to hurt you right now Waybetter on paper than the
commanders, okay.

Speaker 2 (46:07):
All right, okay, all right, okay, all right, wow, all
right, bree, we're going togive it to you.
Take on the game.
Pick however you want to takethis.

Speaker 3 (46:17):
Yeah, so normally I'd go against the team that beat
my team, but that's not thesmart thing to do.
So I'm picking the commandersjust because I like what Jaden
Daniels has done for theCommanders.
You know, I feel like theyhaven't been good a lot since
I've been alive at least, theyhaven't been really good, that I
remember at least.
So you know, and I feel likehim and Zach Ertz are really

(46:37):
just a dynamic duo right now.
I feel like they're just doingreally well.
So I think the Commanders aregoing to beat the Eagles,
despite them being the underdogand them being away.
So, despite them being theunderdog and them being away.
So I'm excited to see how thatgame is, though, because he's a
rookie, not like, he's just good.

Speaker 2 (46:55):
So I want to hate but I can't.
Yeah, now props to you.
Yeah, because you know, typically you know when that
happens you then develop hatefor that quarterback and that
team and go against them.
But no, that's very big of youyeah, I just can't do it, I just
can't I want to, but I can'tall right, okay, all right, okay
, nice, nice, wow man, socommanders, three for the

(47:21):
commanders.
Nobody's taking the favoriteeagles, let's see no one, let's
see no one.

Speaker 1 (47:27):
We don't like the eagles let's see it, man man,
this is wild.

Speaker 2 (47:32):
So y'all, y'all just gonna give this one to me.
Yeah, let me see, man, am Igonna?
Oh, wow, well, well, you knowwhat let's talk about.
Let me let me analyze this gamefirst, before I make my pick,
because I'm still on the fence.
I don't know which way I'mgoing quite yet.
So with this game the Eaglesversus the Commanders this

(47:55):
reminds me a lot of years past.
So we've never seen a rookiequarterback.
Rookie quarterbacks never evengot to the Super Bowl right, no.
Right, okay, all right, becauseBrady, that was his second year.
Technically, okay, that's one.
Two nobody thought thecommanders were not.
They had no shot of going tothe Super Bowl, for sure, not

(48:17):
even really to this level.
Nobody would have had themgoing here.
I don't know if they're in thedivision, everybody said.
But they remind me.
However, we all see that theyare a good team, so there's no
debate on if they're a good teamor not.
They're realizing how good theyare.
Everyone's kind of starting toget on the bandwagon of how good
this team is, and it reminds mea lot of Detroit last year.

(48:42):
How you know, they came intothe playoffs, people saw
potential in them, but thenafter the first or second round,
then people started to get onthe Detroit train and then it
looked like halfway throughthree quarters through that game
against the Niners, that theywere actually going to do it.

(49:03):
And then something happened andthey didn't do it.
You know what, man?
Go on and queue it up, man.
I'm going to go ahead and go onthe island.
I'm going to go on the island, man.
Cue it up, let's go.
Here we go.
Garland man, hold on, get thecamera.
Y'all can see me really takethis to the head.

(49:25):
This is the pure green islandpick of the day, the green boost
.
It's got kale, spinach, apple, cucumber, mint, everything.
I'll be so healthy drinkingthis.

(49:46):
Here we go.

Speaker 4 (49:52):
Woo.

Speaker 2 (49:54):
Oh boy, oh man, yeah, the green, and it just fits for
the Philadelphia Eagles man I'mtaking Saquon.
Saquon's going to run for 220yards in this game and yeah,
they're going to get the win.
I say the Eagles are going towin this game by seven, seven

(50:15):
points.
They're going to win this game, yeah.
And so your hearts are going toget snatched out of your chest,
I'm sorry to say.
The commanders are going tostart off wet.
They're going to start off hot.
Dane Daniels is going to besmiling.
He's going to have that smile.
He's going to look like he hasit all under control and then,
all of a sudden, things aregoing to turn right.

(50:36):
At the end there's going to bea fluky play.
They're going to look and say,oh man, they should have won,
they had it, they blew it up.
The Eagles are going to go onto the Super Bowl and I'm going
to be right about this game andI'm going to be up on y'all man.
So that's how this one's goingto go.
Man, I'm sorry, I'm sorry tobreak it to y'all.

Speaker 3 (50:56):
We'll see.
Yeah, we've been doing great.

Speaker 1 (50:58):
so far, I'm not going to lie y'all.
We've been killing it.

Speaker 2 (51:08):
Me and Brianne Diego yeah we're a bit whooping feet
at this point.
We'll see, we'll see, all right.
So I'm not even going to sayAmerica, because we're a global
show.
So world, okay, y'all havecommanders.
Your boys got the Eagles.
Jack C, all y'all.
Yeah, all my Philly people knowwhat's up.
Shout out to Chivin andKingston man.
Oh yeah, I'm rocking with themthis week to Chivin and Kingston
.
Oh yeah, they're the residentcommander.

(51:28):
Fans of Bickham Pros, all right, okay, cool.
Well, let's move on to the nextone.
Let's go take the island hatoff and let's move on to the
Kansas City Chiefs.
Here we go.
Are we going to have an islandon this one?
Oh, let's see.
Is it going to be?
You know what?
I'm going to go ahead and I'mgoing to put the hat down here.
Put the hat down here.
Let me get the shots ready.

(51:49):
Okay, here we go.
So let's go to the Kansas CityChiefs Buffalo Bills.
So, before we get too deep intothis, before we get to picks,
don't worry about picks just yet.
Let's just talk about last weeka little bit.
Okay, this theme continues.
Man, what's up with the refsand Kansas City?

(52:10):
Were the Texans robbed lastweek in that game?
What's up?

Speaker 4 (52:13):
I mean, the Tech CJ just wasn't going to win.

Speaker 2 (52:16):
I mean, he's just CJ.

Speaker 3 (52:17):
They just weren't going to win.

Speaker 4 (52:19):
They had no shot.
The refs, they did have someconflicting calls during that
game, but yeah, but I think inthis next round I think the
Bills got it.
I'm going with the Bills.

Speaker 2 (52:36):
Okay.
Okay, we'll get to our picks ina little bit.
You're making your pick tooearly, man.
We're just talking about therefs right now, but that's okay.
That's okay, you still have achance to alter your pick.
Okay, you still have a chanceto alter your pick.
Okay, you still have a chancehere, all right, okay.
Okay, looks like we got somemore commander.
Okay, mashika and Trey.
All right, I happened to catchthat out of the corner of my eye
.
We got some more commanders, fans Shout out to them, and then

(52:58):
Dwayne Hold on.
Washington will win and TaylorSwift food and drink order is
ready.
Ready at the Super Bowl.
My prediction Okay, all right, okay, dwayne, uncle Dwayne, my
brother, what's up, man?
All right, Much love, okay.
So okay, we're staying on therefs here.
We're not making our picks justyet, but that's okay, that's
all right, that's all right.

Speaker 1 (53:19):
Chris man, I was doing a lot of that by the with
the refs.
Um, there was, it was just somecrazy calls.
I mean the.
We all saw, like the late slidethat mahomes had the two texans
running into each other andthey called roughing the pastor
on that, which the quarterbackis turning into a runner at that

(53:40):
moment and you know he is.
He did choose to slide late andyou obviously see the players
run into each other and then Ilove seeing troy, a committed
joe buck, not even waver on that.
They were like, okay, nah, thatwas crazy.

Speaker 4 (53:52):
And that's something.

Speaker 1 (53:53):
I love to see from the NFL because there's more
people be like, okay, come onnow.
This is getting ridiculous.
Even when Mahomes flopped outof bounds, they were like, yeah,
no, this can't even exist inour game.
I love that.
I've never heard, you know, youhear Tony Romo.
All of a sudden it's like, oh,they shouldn't even breathe near
Bones.
So I appreciate them for that.
But yeah, man, I don't thinkthe Texans had it just because

(54:17):
of how poor that offensive lineplayed.
And you know the A-tacks and Iunderstand.
As Panthers fans, we know thatwhen you have a bad offensive
line, you're not going to winanything.

Speaker 2 (54:30):
So I just so hold on, I did catch another.
I know I said we don't seecomments, but I'm catching these
out of the corner of my eye.
Yeah, summer, you knew where Iwas going with that.
Johnny O, who's going to be onour live show at Kings, from
Hullshot, said if the Bills makeit, oh my gosh.

(54:50):
He said, if the Bills make itto the Super Bowl and they win,
he'll jump through a table atthe next Kings live show,
seriously so.

Speaker 3 (55:02):
Johnny hold on.

Speaker 2 (55:04):
No, that's not good enough.
If they just make it, becausethis is the pre-Super Bowl show,
all right, so we won't know ifthey win, and then March Madness
show, that's like five weeksafter, so then it'll lose its
luster.
So no, if the Bills make it tothe Super Bowl, then you need to
jump through a table at theKing show.
We need to see that, all right,we need to see that man.

(55:26):
All right, let's get the tables.
See, summer, it's going to bewild here.
It's going to be wild, it'sgoing to be good, yeah, okay.
So, bree, yeah, it's going tobe crazy.
Tell us you you, you know, havebeen on this ref train for a
while here what's your take onwhat happened?

Speaker 3 (55:50):
You know it's always the refs helping out the chiefs.
I don't know why, but they'remaking it the next patriots and
cowboys.
They're making the chiefs likethat and it's really annoying
because mahomes is good, but allthe treatment that he gets from
the refs it makes me not likehim at all, like that whole team
, like you know.
Like those two playersliterally hit each other and you
can clearly see that and that'sjust like insane to me to call

(56:13):
those calls at every game too.
So it's not just with theTexans, but you know it's just
annoying and you guys know mypassion for hitting the Chiefs,
so it just is really annoyingwhen they always do those calls
because it's like maybe do thatto another team for once.
Maybe do it against them andthen they can see Like it's just

(56:34):
annoying.
But I don't know.
I don't know if the Texanswould have won that one either
way, but I feel like a lot ofthe calls that they did have
against them I think thatdefinitely benefited to their
loss.

Speaker 2 (56:43):
So yeah, yeah, for sure, for sure.
So, yeah, yeah, for, for sure, for sure.
Yeah, that that was unfortunate, because I would have liked to
see that game go down to thewire and see what would have
truly happened in that, in thatgame.
So we were.
We were robbed we were robbedfrom that.
Yeah, definitely robbed of that.
So, uh, brie, I'll tell youwhat.

(57:04):
Let's, um, let's see, are we,we ready to go into these picks
and go ahead and officially pickthis game?
Yes, all right.
Okay, all right, let's do it.
Let's do it.
Oh man, so we'll go in.
Let's see what kind of orderare we going to go in Diego?
We'll start with you.
We typically have been startingwith you.

(57:24):
You already kind of told ushave been starting with you.

Speaker 4 (57:27):
You already kind of told us I might have changed my
mind, okay, all right.
Well, go ahead, give us thetable.
The Chiefs, of course they'reour arrowhead, arrowhead
invitational.
They only lost to Joe Burrowand Tom Brady in these games at
my home's house, but I'm goingwith the Bills.
Okay, I think this is adifferent year.
They got a good running game, josh Allen playing at MVP level,

(57:49):
and they were the only team tobeat Mahomes in the regular
season.
And, yeah, I just think they'rethe only team that's got what
it takes right now.
So I'm going with them.

Speaker 2 (58:00):
Okay, all right.
All right, we're going to putyou on ice, chris.
We're not going to come to youjust yet.
We're going to come back aroundon ice, chris, we're not going
to come to you just yet.
We're going to come back around.
We're going to switch it uphere.
All right, I'm picking pros andBrianna, we're going to go to
you next.
Okay, go ahead and give us yourtake.

Speaker 3 (58:15):
So, with my Chief hating, I can never pick the
Chiefs ever because I just havefaith that the Bills will beat
them, because I feel like that'sthe only team that can beat
them, because they already havebefore.
So I think it will be good towatch the chiefs lose, so I'm
really excited for that allright, oh man, that's, that's

(58:36):
two, are we?

Speaker 2 (58:38):
there is no way we're gonna have two island games
here.
There is no way that's gonnahappen.
All right, no way.
So let's, let's see here, chris, we're going to go to you next
man.
The suspense is building.
We got two on the side of theBills.
Nobody's picking the Chiefs, who have the refs on their side

(58:58):
and a chance to make historywith the three-peat.
Who are you going with, Chris?

Speaker 1 (59:04):
I'm going with the Chiefs because it's history.
What are we?

Speaker 4 (59:10):
doing y'all.

Speaker 1 (59:12):
So it's not like every single time in the regular
season where the Bills have wonand they match up with the
Chiefs in the playoffs, whathappens?
In some horrible, unexpectedfashion, they lose to the Chiefs
.
It was the field goal.
It was, you know, the 13seconds Like it was a missed
field goal.
And then it was 13 seconds lastyear, not last year, two years

(59:32):
ago.
And then, it's just, I've seenthis movie play out too many
times when they had an arguablybetter Well, I wouldn't say
better team, but when they hadStephon Diggs and they had the
same defensive pieces, theystill couldn't get the job done.
So now we're relying on JamesCook in a running game and all

(59:54):
of a sudden Sean McDermott notgetting the yips and like out
coaching and, like you know, allof a sudden forgetting how to
coach because that whole DeMarHamlin like fake punt thing.
That was stupid.
We got to hope he doesn't dothat again.
So what are we doing here,y'all?
Are we not gonna see KansasCity do the thing that I've
always seen Kansas City do?

(01:00:15):
If I am alone on this, I thinkit'll be hilarious, because I'm
like this is kind of obvious, but hey, we'll see.

Speaker 2 (01:00:21):
That would be hilarious.
That would be hilarious for theLamar Jackson man to be on an
island with Pat Mahomes.
How wild would that be.

Speaker 4 (01:00:32):
How wild, would that be.

Speaker 2 (01:00:34):
You think I'll join him.

Speaker 1 (01:00:37):
That's another one this week.

Speaker 2 (01:00:39):
Let's say join him.

Speaker 1 (01:00:40):
Shoot.

Speaker 2 (01:00:42):
Let's get rid of the Tytana.
Let's see, let's meet forTytana, let's go happy y'all,
it's happening.

Speaker 1 (01:00:47):
Let's see, let's go happy y'all, it's happening.

Speaker 2 (01:00:50):
Well, well, well, we got.
The Chiefs are what?
What are they Two-pointfavorite here?
So, man, buffalo Bills.
So Josh Allen went there, almost beat them before.
Okay, tyreek Hill.

(01:01:11):
Tyreek Hill was the differencethey had.

Speaker 4 (01:01:15):
Tyreek Hill.

Speaker 2 (01:01:16):
They don't have him now.

Speaker 1 (01:01:16):
They had Tyreek, they had wide receivers who couldn't
catch and still beat them.
Please, like guys, what are wedoing?

Speaker 4 (01:01:24):
I was different.
What do you mean?
That was different?
Who could catch a ball?
So?

Speaker 2 (01:01:30):
look, I've been saying again, again and again I
was ahead of the curve.
All right, weeks ago, monthsago, I told you guys Josh Allen
was the MVP.
Okay, I think I was provenright about that.
Months ago, I said BuffaloBills were the best team in the
AFC.
All right, I was right aboutthat.

(01:01:52):
Now, last week, I had to do thegood old Diego Memorial here,
okay, and pick against them justfor the jinx.
All right, yeah, and it showedjust how strong my power is.
You know what I mean.
See, I'm a made man in thisgame.

(01:02:14):
All right, just pick them.
Pro gang, I'm a made man.
The inaugural season I won, so Ican pretty much do whatever I
want without any repercussions.
Okay, mr two and seven, mr Two.
And so now?
Now, all right, I don't have todo any trickery, all right, I
don't have to do any of that.

(01:02:34):
All right, we don't have to doit of reverse.
We don't have to do a BenJohnson as a receiver, throw the
ball.
I don't have to do any of that.
I can just run it straight upthe middle, all right, and tell
you what's going to happen.
So now I'm going to go aheadand give you my pick.
I'm going to go ahead and takethe Buffalo Bills.
Yay, go Bills.

(01:02:55):
Whoa, we got a whole lot here,so we got the Island hat.
So, chris, you are on theIsland with your Kansas City
Chiefs and your Mr PatrickMahomes.

Speaker 1 (01:03:09):
So here is the.

Speaker 2 (01:03:10):
Island.

Speaker 4 (01:03:10):
Master.

Speaker 2 (01:03:13):
Okay, the Island man.
Yes, Chris is on the island.

Speaker 1 (01:03:17):
Proudly.

Speaker 2 (01:03:17):
With his cheaters.

Speaker 1 (01:03:19):
What are we doing here With the cheaters?
I'm not with the cheaters.

Speaker 3 (01:03:25):
With the cheaters Just because this is lobster.

Speaker 1 (01:03:28):
Wow, all right.
All right, because this islobster, wow All right, I'm
taking a shot.

Speaker 2 (01:03:34):
We got to go back, all right, we're back.
All right, the pure greenisland shot.

Speaker 1 (01:03:45):
This is a sad will.
Oh yeah, sorry, got a littlepepper in the throat.
I'm good now.
This is a sad will and therewas Pepper.
Yeah, sorry, got a littlePepper in the throat.
I'm good now guys, listen, if Iever load on this island, I I
would just text all of you andbe like y'all, come on, y'all,
we gotta see the running on thewall at some point.

(01:04:06):
And if y'all think that RogerGoodell and the NFL aren't going
to at least want their teamthat literally has brought them
so many viewers because ofsomebody's dating Taylor Swift
in their biggest moment with achance to three-peat, we don't
think that's going to happen.
All right, y'all, I will lety'all be delusional and believe

(01:04:27):
that I'm sticking in reality atthis point because I was
delusional over Lamar.
I refuse to be delusional.
Josh is time.
Josh is time.

Speaker 2 (01:04:37):
It's Josh's time, josh Allen.
That man, the man's man, isgoing to show up and go up in
there.
He's not tripping off the coldbecause it's way colder in
Buffalo than it is in KansasCity.
And my guy what's his name?
That shows up barefoot.

Speaker 4 (01:04:51):
Hodges, I think, is his name.

Speaker 2 (01:04:54):
He's going to show up barefoot, have the Island shirt
on, open out man, he might evenbe shirtless walking up in
there.
So yeah man, buffalo Bills baby.

Speaker 1 (01:05:04):
Alrighty.
Well, guys, welcome to theinevitable.
Hey y'all, I will be happy ify'all are right.
Unfortunately, I see KansasCity in high leverage moments
and this is at their house yetagain, and it took a miracle
both times for them to lose anarrowhead.
So if y'all think anothermiracle will happen, that's

(01:05:27):
statistical proof that it won't.
With everything that we'reseeing, I will let y'all rock,
but again, I'm happy on thisisland.
You know my team's in Cancun,so you know or another island.
They're cool.
I'm already used to thistemperature so we'll be okay.

Speaker 2 (01:05:45):
Cool, cool.
Well, hey, man, think that.
Uh, brie, we will see you intwo weeks.
We are super excited, can'twait for that.
Uh, she said, diego, you make, you make mishika proud for the
commanders.
So shout out to really ally'all except me.
So, mishika, don't, don't bemad at me, don't be mad at me

(01:06:06):
for going with the Eagles.
I got a package coming your way, so we got some goods coming
your way, so don't be mad at me.
All right, this is justbusiness.
All right, this is not personalin this Pick'em Pro game.
But all right, bree, we'll seeyou in two weeks.
You can't wait, okay, yes, seeyou, then All right see you then
.
All right, fellas.
Well, man, hey, great show, great show.

(01:06:48):
Eagles and Bills in the SuperBowl.
You can count on that.
Book it.
Yeah, we all know that's goingto happen, isn't that right,
guys?

Speaker 1 (01:06:56):
No, Not at all.
No.
Commanders, chiefs, commanders, the Jane Daniels yeah, let's
see the fighting Jane Danielsversus the refs.
So let's see it y'all.
And yeah, all right, bro, goodshow.
And Lamar, hey, in the sameweather hemisphere as you are
