We're going to be going over afew things pvp related, pve
related, new player related andjust some general uh discussion
on multiple things.
But we're going to be startingwith the forums and, uh, as
always, the forums is a greatplace to go.
There's a lot of opinions,there's a lot of ideas, there's
a lot of great ideas, there'sgood ideas.

There's a lot of bad takes,good takes, et cetera, et cetera

I'm going to be giving myopinion on them and this is the
first one that I picked out fromthe bunch.
So would be cool if they couldmake any class, any race Now.

I believe that they're going todo this anyway in the near

future and, before reading on toit, I think that it is
something that they should do.
They should allow this to beopened up into other races, like
classes, into other racesmainly because since the very
start of world of warcraft theyalways had the idea of, oh, this
class should only be for thisrace or this faction at some
points, because in classicpaladin was only for alliance

and shaman was only for hordeback in classic.
So it has changed a lot sincethen and there are ways that you
can manipulate the lore to say,oh, this is why there are night
elf paladins now or anythinglike that is because over the
course of the years, during,like the night elves being with
the alliance, you know humans,dwarves, etc.

Uh, they have learned andimparted their wisdom on how to
be a paladin, because paladinsare just priests that can wield
the light in a different way,kind of deal.
Um, and night elves can bepriests they have been ever
since classic and I don't seewhy they couldn't be sort of
paladins.
So there are lore ways that youcould get around this.

But let's see what he says,basically the title.
It'd be nice to see if theycould try to create lore to make
classes global or don't,because honestly, a majority
probably don't care what theychoose, what connects to them.
Naturally, I think nextexpansion or the one after will
give them more than enough timeto fill holes in lore or create

an expansion that represents aclash of other expansions like
rafa, the lich king legion,missa, pandaria and etc.

Uh, that has us go back todifferent, defeat the guy, but
doing so in a way that keeps theoverall story integrity
together, or maybe just not todo that at all and start

Um, I want to play a dwarfdemon hunter.

There's always grounds to makeundead paladins, with one of the
original paladins slash priestswho trained a lot, the original
paladins being currently undeadhimself.
So, uh, the whole undead cannever withstand.
The light argument is nonsenseand they are already in a
constant pain as it is.
Okay, he's rambled quite a lothere, but I understand the

premise and, yeah, I I do thinkthat every class should be every
, or every race should haveevery class available to them.
Like he says here, there arepaladins that can wield the
light.
Um, one of the very first sortof paladins is alonzo's foul, I
believe.
I believe he's one of thefounders of the Order of the

Silver Hand and he is now anundead or yeah, or a Forsaken, I
should say and he is one of theI believe council members for
the Forsaken faction.
So he's actually a very highranking official and we have
seen in-game cut scenes ofpeople being brought back as

possibility for this to be a wayof paladins to be integrated as
undead.
So there are law implicationsalready, but to say like, oh
void, elves can now be paladinsis a bit tougher because there
isn't much law behind it.

that anyone would be okay tosort of overlook if you kind of
just went yeah look, they'vebeen with the horde or alliance
for years now and essentiallythey have picked up the ways of
being a paladin, being a mage,being a warlock, via the other
races of the horde and this iswhat unlocks them.
I think that's a perfectly fineexcuse to do it.

I don't think there's anyreason not to, because the the
only thing that I can think ofis if the race itself had a sort
of fear of a certain class.
So let's say, night elves had afear of being warlocks and
commanding demons, because inthe past they've had goings on

with demons, with Archimonde.
They fought, archimonde killedjayden, all of this stuff, and
this is why they never practicedto like the sort of dark magics
that warlocks wield and thedemons and you know, controlling
demons and stuff.
Now, obviously, night elves canbe warlocks, but you kind of

If there is a law reason thatthey've said, oh, we do not

practice this sort of magicbecause of this, then you would
have to look at it and change ita little bit.
But I don't think that there'sany indication of that or any
sort of race that has been saidlike this is why we don't do

So I think that there is apossibility for every class to

be, uh, implemented into everysingle race in wow, and I think
that they will do it in the nextexpansion, I think in midnight
in a patch, 0.1 or 0.2 patch.
I think that's when it willhappen and it will be very good.
I think it will be very healthyfor the game.
I think it will be very, verygood and I just I don't get why

they haven't done it sooner.
There are a lot of reasons orthere are a lot of points in WoW
where they could have startedto do this.
Okay, they really really couldhave.
They could have added so manydifferent things in Battle for
Azeroth is kind of the main onewhere, like, if they did this

back in Battle for Azeroth, itwould have been like, okay, we
need more paladins on the frontline, like to fight against the
horde.
Therefore, the alliance likehumans, dwarves and whatever
draenei have been teaching thenight elves how to be a paladin
and stuff like that.
I think that that would havebeen fine and that would have
been the best sort of settingfor it.
But in midnight or the nextpatch anyway, I know that there

is a lot of horde versusalliance conflict back in
kalimdor I believe no easternkingdoms, so we're going back to
sort of sort that out.
So maybe that's theintroduction of all of this, who
knows?
Uh, but yeah, I definitelythink that this is going to
happen in the near future and Idon't think that you can really
disagree with it.
To be honest with you, I thinkthat it's very, very good.

Now, the next point that I wantto look at is best expansion to
level.
I believe that I've donesomething similar, but this is
on the like new player and helpguide, so I wanted to address it

I'm planning on utilizingheirlooms, rested XP and other
methods.
I also want to know the bestexpansion for fast leveling with
quests and dungeons.
Thanks, okay, if you're lookingat a best expansion, you're
looking at the questing, you'relooking at the dungeons you're
(09:19):
looking at, well, just forleveling, we're going to be
looking at them two things.
We're not going to be lookingat the raids because people
aren't doing them raids anymore.
They are previous content raids, okay.
So we're going to be looking atquesting zones, maybe, and the
dungeons.
In my honest opinion, you arelooking at Legion.
Okay, now Legion has some very,very good zones Valshara, azuna
(09:45):
, highmountain, suramar.
You have all of these differentzones that are amazing,
including the likes of StormheimI'm not too fond of, probably
Azuna, but it's very raw lore,rich in terms of Night Elves and
the highborn and stuff.
So it's definitely worthlooking at and it's where you
(10:06):
unlock the uh azhara cinematic.
Once you get far enough intothe like a campaign of that zone
, you will be able to watch theazhara cinematic.
That's the one, that's the name.
So I would recommend legion,mainly because you've got stuff
like dark heart thicket as well.

You've got the artifact queststhat you can go and do.
It's very raw, law, rich and,from a best expansion leveling
point of view, like the bestexperience.
Legion is it?
Okay, it's very, very solid inevery aspect.
If you're looking at speed, Iwould recommend Wrath of the
Lich King because that way youstill get a very solid expansion
(10:48):

You get quick dungeons, you getstill very good dungeons and
the zones themselves are verygood.
You have Howling Fjord, borean,tundra, dragonblight, have
Grizzly Heels, zul'drak,icecrown, stormpeaks.
You have all of these differentzones with all of their own
storylines and they are veryquick zones.
(11:10):
The quests are very quick.
You're ticking them off very,very quickly all of these quests
and powering through it.
So for a very solid experienceI'd recommend recommend wrath of
the lich king because it'sstill very good dungeons and
quests.
Wise, if you're looking for thebest lore sort of experience
and the best zones and the best,uh, questing experience, as
(11:31):
well as a some good dungeons.
You're looking at legion, uh.
The sort of expansions I wouldavoid is I don't know, they all
have their own decency.
I would recommend avoidingBattle for Azeroth, which is
kind of sad because I love someof the zones there, I love the
music, but it does take a whileto get into the actual leveling
(11:55):
of the zone because there's alot of free quests that almost
get into the zone and it's quitetedious of three quests that
almost get into the zone andit's quite tedious, uh.
I would also recommend notgoing to shadowlands as
shadowlands, obviously, ifyou've never done it before, you
have to go through the morescenario and the more scenario
is a bit tedious as well.
You can obviously skip this ifyou've already done it and, like
(12:18):
, go to a certain point withinShadowlands where you can just
pick a covenant to go andsupport.
But again, the quests are veryfew and far between.
There's no actual structure tothe questing, it's very much
just a full-on campaign.
So you're forced to go toBastion and then Maldraxxus and
then Ardenweald and thenRevendreth, ardenweald and then
(12:39):
Revendreth.
So you know, there is a bit oflinear questing there, which
isn't great.
So these are the two that Iwould mainly recommend avoiding.
Also, the dungeons aren't veryuser friendly.
When it comes to how quick andefficient you want to level now,
firstly, you're a free to playplayer or, worse, if you're
(13:02):
getting a sub, I would recommendjust taking the leveling slow.
Please don't rush towards endgame.
I know that for four years youmight just be doing questing,
but there's more to questingthan just literally zooming
through it, because the loreimplications in some of these
are very, very good right nowand, like Legion, there's so
much lore in that.
(13:23):
Like Wrath, there's so muchlore it needs to be respected a
bit more, and that's whatthey're doing in the next patch
as well.
I do want to add that this iswhat they are doing in the next
patch In 11.1.7, they adding thelaw walker chose stuff which is
the arthas, the zalatath andthe ethereals, uh, sort of
(13:46):
storylines.
Now these storylines are very,very good.
They tell a story of wow'svillains or these other
different characters withinwarcraft, and it shows you
basically everything that'shappened with them in their
history, in our history, becauseArthas is very much.
Go to the Culling of Stratholme.
(14:06):
You go to Icecrown, you killArthas, you become Arthas for a
bit.
You see the cinematics, you seethe lore, you see what has
happened in all of that time andit's really really cool and
something that needs to beexperienced, I think, by not
only new players but olderplayers of the game, because
people forget about this stuffand it's really really cool and
something that needs to beexperienced, I think, by not
only new players but olderplayers of the game, because
people forget about this stuffand it is very law rich the game
(14:28):

It really is.
But I'm glad that they are ableto condense it into this law
walker show sort of story time,because it's like, okay, this is
like the bare bones of it.
If you really wanted to look itup, look up a video on YouTube
or like go level in Northrend orsomething like that, because
that way you'll get the fullstory and I think that this is

just very good.
I think it's needed and thiswill help with the leveling
experience, in my honest opinion.
Uh, next one I wanted to look atis easiest class to play in pvp
.
Now you might say there's noeasy class in wow.
There is okay, um.
(15:10):
So let's say, you had a friendwho was really bad at the game
and you had to recommend them aclass to play in arena that they
could succeed on despite to bemechanically challenged as a
player.
I'm thinking warrior or dkthoughts.
Warrior, yes, dk, no.
I think dk is a bit morechallenging in terms of your um,
(15:34):
what do you call it?
Your plagues.
If you are unholy, if you'refrost, that's fine, because the
way that frost works, gripsomething in blind it, stun it
with syndragosa and press yourremorseless winter or your
pillar of frost and thenbasically press frost, strike
and obliterate.
It's very simple.
(15:56):
But the other one I wouldrecommend, uh, is bm hunter.
I will always recommend,recommend BM Hunter, as it is
one of the simplest classes inthe game.
You simply press your barbedshot and your kill command.
Now you might say, oh, but youneed to keep your barbed shot
stacks up.
Yes, this is true, but it is.
You will still do a lot ofdamage without managing them
(16:20):
stacks.
Okay, a bm hunter, because yourpets are doing all the work.
You're pressing kill command.
It's kind of simple damagerotation.
Now this person recommendsshadow priest.
That is one of the worst thingsI've ever heard.
Shadow priest is very tough,especially if you're going to
get ran down by a melee.
How do you deal with a melee?
(16:40):
Okay, you very much use thevoid change rules.
You very much do everything toavoid it.
So, yeah, I'm not too sure aboutshadow priest as a whole.
I don't think it's a great idea.
I think that you probably wantto stick to bm, hunter or
warrior.
It's um, gonna be a lot easierjust in the long run for people.
It really really is.

As for starting PvP as a whole,it's going to be tough, it will
be tough, it will be very, verytough, and I don't see why
people will get frustrated whenit comes to Arena because you
might not be winning as much asyou want to, but the game it
just takes a lot of knowledgeand that's how you win arenas

with just knowledge of theclasses, of the matchups, of
what's going to be what, what'sgoing to be this, that, here and
there.
Okay, now I think that peoplecan get into arena.
It will take some time, but Iwould very much recommend b
Hunter or Fury Warrior.
These are your two main sort ofstaple points.

If you're looking at primarilya caster as a DPS spec for Arena
, I would oh God, caster's verytough, but I would recommend
Evoker.
Okay, evoker is very simple.
You simply press sort of yourDisintegrate or your Fly, and
then you press your eternitysurge, tip the scales, fire,
breath and then disintegrate.
(18:07):
That's it.
Um, that's the simplestrotation I can think of for a
caster.
There's not really much else.
Uh, casters are more.
They do have more complex stuffsometimes than other melees.
Another one actually isretribution paladin.
Now, retribution paladin,damage is very simple, but the

uh sort of utility of paladin isone of the most important
things.
Okay, it's very much one of themost important things.
And that's where I think theproblems will lie, because they
won't understand the importanceof using your blessing freedoms
correctly, your blessing ofprotections, your lay on hands,
your bubbles, etc.
Etc.
So these are the things thatare going to become more
(18:52):
knowledge based as you go along.
But it's very much going to bebased on how quickly your friend
learns and which class he ispicking up.
But I would recommend furywarrior or bm hunter.

So I would recommend legion,mainly because you've got stuff
like dark heart thicket as well.

You've got the artifact queststhat you can go and do.
It's very raw, law, rich and,from a best expansion leveling
point of view, like the bestexperience.
Legion is it?
Okay, it's very, very solid inevery aspect.
If you're looking at speed, Iwould recommend Wrath of the
Lich King because that way youstill get a very solid expansion

You get quick dungeons, you getstill very good dungeons and
the zones themselves are verygood.
You have Howling Fjord, borean,tundra, dragonblight, have
Grizzly Heels, zul'drak,icecrown, stormpeaks.
You have all of these differentzones with all of their own
storylines and they are veryquick zones.

The quests are very quick.
You're ticking them off very,very quickly all of these quests
and powering through it.
So for a very solid experienceI'd recommend recommend wrath of
the lich king because it'sstill very good dungeons and
quests.
Wise, if you're looking for thebest lore sort of experience
and the best zones and the best,uh, questing experience, as

well as a some good dungeons.
You're looking at legion, uh.
The sort of expansions I wouldavoid is I don't know, they all
have their own decency.
I would recommend avoidingBattle for Azeroth, which is
kind of sad because I love someof the zones there, I love the
music, but it does take a whileto get into the actual leveling
(11:55):
of the zone because there's alot of free quests that almost
get into the zone and it's quitetedious of three quests that
almost get into the zone andit's quite tedious, uh.
I would also recommend notgoing to shadowlands as
shadowlands, obviously, ifyou've never done it before, you
have to go through the morescenario and the more scenario
is a bit tedious as well.
You can obviously skip this ifyou've already done it and, like
(12:18):
, go to a certain point withinShadowlands where you can just
pick a covenant to go andsupport.
But again, the quests are veryfew and far between.
There's no actual structure tothe questing, it's very much
just a full-on campaign.
So you're forced to go toBastion and then Maldraxxus and
then Ardenweald and thenRevendreth, ardenweald and then

Revendreth.
So you know, there is a bit oflinear questing there, which
isn't great.
So these are the two that Iwould mainly recommend avoiding.
Also, the dungeons aren't veryuser friendly.
When it comes to how quick andefficient you want to level now,
firstly, you're a free to playplayer or, worse, if you're

getting a sub, I would recommendjust taking the leveling slow.
Please don't rush towards endgame.
I know that for four years youmight just be doing questing,
but there's more to questingthan just literally zooming
through it, because the loreimplications in some of these
are very, very good right nowand, like Legion, there's so
much lore in that.

Like Wrath, there's so muchlore it needs to be respected a
bit more, and that's whatthey're doing in the next patch
as well.
I do want to add that this iswhat they are doing in the next
patch In 11.1.7, they adding thelaw walker chose stuff which is
the arthas, the zalatath andthe ethereals, uh, sort of

storylines.
Now these storylines are very,very good.
They tell a story of wow'svillains or these other
different characters withinwarcraft, and it shows you
basically everything that'shappened with them in their
history, in our history, becauseArthas is very much.
Go to the Culling of Stratholme.

You go to Icecrown, you killArthas, you become Arthas for a
bit.
You see the cinematics, you seethe lore, you see what has
happened in all of that time andit's really really cool and
something that needs to beexperienced, I think, by not
only new players but olderplayers of the game, because
people forget about this stuffand it's really really cool and

But I'm glad that they are ableto condense it into this law

I think it's needed and thiswill help with the leveling
experience, in my honest opinion.
Uh, next one I wanted to look atis easiest class to play in pvp

Now you might say there's noeasy class in wow.

So let's say, you had a friendwho was really bad at the game
and you had to recommend them aclass to play in arena that they
could succeed on despite to bemechanically challenged as a
player.
I'm thinking warrior or dkthoughts.
Warrior, yes, dk, no.
I think dk is a bit morechallenging in terms of your um,

Your plagues.
If you are unholy, if you'refrost, that's fine, because the
way that frost works, gripsomething in blind it, stun it
with syndragosa and press yourremorseless winter or your
pillar of frost and thenbasically press frost, strike

But the other one I wouldrecommend, uh, is bm hunter.
I will always recommend,recommend BM Hunter, as it is
one of the simplest classes inthe game.
You simply press your barbedshot and your kill command.
Now you might say, oh, but youneed to keep your barbed shot

Yes, this is true, but it is.
You will still do a lot ofdamage without managing them

stacks.
Okay, a bm hunter, because yourpets are doing all the work.
You're pressing kill command.
It's kind of simple damagerotation.
Now this person recommendsshadow priest.
That is one of the worst thingsI've ever heard.
Shadow priest is very tough,especially if you're going to
get ran down by a melee.
How do you deal with a melee?

Okay, you very much use thevoid change rules.
You very much do everything toavoid it.
So, yeah, I'm not too sure aboutshadow priest as a whole.
I don't think it's a great idea.
I think that you probably wantto stick to bm, hunter or
warrior.
It's um, gonna be a lot easierjust in the long run for people.

As for starting PvP as a whole,it's going to be tough, it will
be tough, it will be very, verytough, and I don't see why
people will get frustrated whenit comes to Arena because you
might not be winning as much asyou want to, but the game it
just takes a lot of knowledgeand that's how you win arenas

with just knowledge of theclasses, of the matchups, of
what's going to be what, what'sgoing to be this, that, here and
there.
Okay, now I think that peoplecan get into arena.
It will take some time, but Iwould very much recommend b
Hunter or Fury Warrior.
These are your two main sort ofstaple points.

If you're looking at primarilya caster as a DPS spec for Arena
, I would oh God, caster's verytough, but I would recommend
Evoker.
Okay, evoker is very simple.
You simply press sort of yourDisintegrate or your Fly, and
then you press your eternitysurge, tip the scales, fire,
breath and then disintegrate.

That's it.
Um, that's the simplestrotation I can think of for a
caster.
There's not really much else.
Uh, casters are more.
They do have more complex stuffsometimes than other melees.
Another one actually isretribution paladin.
Now, retribution paladin,damage is very simple, but the

uh sort of utility of paladin isone of the most important
things.
Okay, it's very much one of themost important things.
And that's where I think theproblems will lie, because they
won't understand the importanceof using your blessing freedoms
correctly, your blessing ofprotections, your lay on hands,
your bubbles, etc.
Etc.
So these are the things thatare going to become more

knowledge based as you go along.
But it's very much going to bebased on how quickly your friend
learns and which class he ispicking up.
But I would recommend furywarrior or bm hunter.
