to be looking at Legion Remix,and these are kind of the big

But we will start off with theweekly news.

They are located within theringing deeps, the undermine and
koresh.
They give some loot.
So they're very oh my god words.
Very much recommend doing themif you need to.
This week, wrath timeath TimeWalking is your bonus event for
the week.
This is as simple as you doWrath of the Lich King, dungeons

, and this will give you timewalking badges.
These time walking badges willallow you to purchase cosmetics,
mounts, reputations, anythingalong these lines.
Very much recommend doing theseif you're looking to level a
character or you're looking tojust collect cosmetics.
Basically, it's very, veryuseful for that warsong scramble
is your brawl for the week.

This is basically warsong gulchtimes three, so you have three
flags that you can pick up andcapture, as well as 10 flags
needed to capture in order towin the battleground.
So if you have a very fastcharacter, if you have multiple
heroic leaps on a warrior, or ifyou're a monk or whatever and
you can traverse the map veryquickly, this is probably your

brawl.
Okay, but that is the weeklynews out of the way.
I want to start off with mrpandaria, as it is the shorter
topic this week, and I want totalk about one thing in
particular, and that iscelestial dungeons.
Okay now, celestial dungeonsare something that has been put
into Mists of Pandaria insteadof looking for raid and a lot of

people are upset about thisbecause looking for raid was
something that people could doto experience the raiding
content without it being a bitor like too tedious to actually
do, and, in my honest opinion,you can just pug, uh the content
.
It doesn't take that long andyou really don't need that big
(03:17):
of an entry level to do theseraids.
Okay, I don't think they aretough at all.
They are great fun, but I don'tthink that they are a different
level to looking for raidpretty much.
But these celestial dungeonsessentially have the looking for
raid gear inside of them.
So the premise of these are themobs have more health and do
(03:39):
more damage, but you, as thecharacters, get buffs, and these
buffs you can pick at the startof the dungeon and there's one
of four that you can get.
There's usually a tank, one,healer one and then two dps one
for casters, one for melee andthis will do certain different
things.
So the tank one will just giveyou pure stats.
The healing one will put a ringaround people that heals and

deals damage.
You know multiple differentthings.
They're all very good in theirown right.
None of them are like oh well,that one's just horrendously bad
.
So I will never use that onekind of deal.
But the whole point of thecelestial dungeons is to help
people catch up in gear and withTerrace of Endless Springs
going to release very soon, theCelestial Vendor will also get
(04:27):
updated with tier gear and thistier gear will be looking for
raid tier.
So you are allowed to get thisgear without having to actually
step foot in a raid, which isvery good.
This allows very good catch upfor people.
For people and I think blizzardkind of understood that people
in classic are very tedious whenit comes to actually accepting
(04:50):
people into their group.
It's been that way sinceclassic, since vanilla classic,
and it's always been a problem.
It's always looking for moremolten core.
Make sure you're full bis andit's like you could walk into
molten core with a full group oflike mages in all greens and
clear it.
That's no joke.
A full 40 man group of magescleared molten core.
(05:14):
Okay, no tanks, no healers,just mages.
Same with druids, but thedruids obviously have tank spec,
healer off spec and stuff a bitdifferent.
But it is possible.
That's how easy it is.
But people are very much likeyou have to be full pre-bis,
have cleared molten core 10times already and if you hadn't
(05:35):
and you wanted to go in there toget gear, you know to clear
molten core to get gear butthey're asking you to have gear
from molten core already.
It's absolutely ridiculous.
But essentially I'm going offon a bit of a tangent there.
The celestial dungeons are a wayto gear up alts and help you
essentially get to a very soliditem level to do these raids,
(05:57):
these first phase raids, uh, ata decent level and I think this
is really good.
The Celestial Dungeon Vendorprovides everything from A
healer leather set To tankleather set To DPS.
All of this to mail Agi, mailint, play, int Play, strength.
(06:19):
All of this, all of thedifferent types.
There is something for everysingle specialization and class.
So this is really good and areally solid feature to like add
to the game at the start of theexpansion, because during
cataclysm they failed to do thisand this led to cataclysm
dropping off very quickly earlyon in its release.
(06:42):
Because, yep, okay, done all ofthe dungeons, I don't need
heroic dungeons anymore.
So what do I do?
Oh, okay, I raid.
Okay, I've done the raids forthis week.
So what do I do?
Okay, we log off and we raidlog.
Okay, for those of you thatdon't know, raid logging is when
you log in just to do the raidfor the week and then log off
again, kind of deal.
(07:03):
I don't think it's too bad.
I think it very much depends onthe guild.
I think if you're going forworld first mythic, you can't
really do that, but if you'redoing this with like a very
chilled guild and it's just agroup of friends kind of getting
together every week.
This is really good andsomething that I think is quite
healthy, to be honest, and Ithink that's kind of the dynamic
(07:26):
we have sometimes with ourguild, where we will eventually
just say that's fine, theexpansion's kind of over, we'll
raid, log or we'll just dosomething else.
We'll still keep in touch,discord and stuff, but you know
this sort of thing.
But these dungeons actuallyallow you to level and gear alts
very effectively, meaning thatthe expansion has more longevity
(07:50):
, and that is always a goodthing.
You need longevity in certainexpansions to keep them going.
So this is a big win, in myopinion, for Mists of Pandaria
Classic.
Now I want to move on to the bignews that we've all heard, and
that is Legion Remix.
So Mists of Pandaria Remix cameout last year and it was such a
(08:17):
big success.
They were like okay, we've gotto do other expansions with this
, that's fine.
What essentially the remix isis a version of that expansion.
In this case it's going to belegion and you get to experience
all of the content from thatexpansion, just in a very
(08:38):
accelerated way.
This accelerated way is done.
Obviously it releases dungeonsand raids very quickly.
I think they're going torelease it every two weeks like
a new raid.
So it will start off with theEmerald Dream and then it will
move into Nighthold two weekslater and then Antorus two weeks
later.
There's raids I've definitelymissed, but you get the point.

So that's the acceleratedtimeline.
But it's also in Mists of missapandaria remix.
You had a cloak and what thiscloak did was you never
unequipped it, but youconstantly added to it and you
added to its power and thiscloak could indefinitely level
(09:22):
up.
Okay, okay, so you get infinitestats, infinite XP gain,
infinite everything.
Okay to this cloak.
So you just scale indefinitely.
There is no limit to this.
And this is the sort of what isit?
The twist on the expansion?
Okay, this is the remix of itand this is really cool.
(09:45):
This is a really cool feature.
This allows you to level a lotof alts, if this is your
preferred way of using the remix.
This allows you to farm content, farm cosmetics, farm mounts,
farm, whatever you want.
And I do have to say thisLegion Remix all of the
characters will eventually gointo retail when it is complete
(10:07):
after the, after the three, fourmonths that it's usually out
for.
Okay, so all of the charactersthat you have on legion remix
will move to retail.
Okay, they will.
It's a guarantee you you cannotkeep them in legion, I promise
you.
So what essentially does legionremix do?
(10:29):
It allows you to levelcharacters, it allows you to buy
cosmetics and it allows you toexperience legion in a certain
different way.
Okay, because we're eventually,from my point of view, we are
going to experience legionclassic soon.
I experienced legion when itfirst came out, one of the best
(10:51):
expansions I've ever played.
Okay, it is definitely topthree and really has a strong
case for being the bestexpansion.
It's that simple.
I will have played Legion backin 2016 and now Legion Remix.
After Legion Remix, a couple ora year or so after that, you
(11:15):
will have Legion Classic.
That I would have played threeLegion expansions and honestly,
I cannot wait for all of them.
They've done it in a way whereit's actually quite spread out
enough.
Well, obviously, the 10-yeargap between when Legion first
released and the remix is a bigenough gap.
But the remix and the classicversion because Mists of
(11:38):
Pandaria remix, released veryclosely to actually Mists of
Pandaria Remix, released veryclosely to actually Mists of
Pandaria Classic, which kind ofgave it a bit of a oh, do I
really want to go through theJade Forest again, that kind of
deal but honestly, it wascompletely fine, but sidetracked
.
What can you do in Legion Remix?
Like I said, cosmetics andleveling is the main thing.
(11:59):
So, during your journeys inlegion remix, you will collect
something that is called bronze,and what bronze is is
essentially just a currency, butthis will allow you to purchase
cosmetics.
Okay, these cosmetics and it isonly cosmetics in legion remix
net, we know because, because inMists of Pandaria, they made
(12:26):
the mistake of making it so thatyou could use bronze to
purchase upgrades for your cloak, and it was ridiculous, because
that shouldn't be the case.
The currency should only belinked to cosmetics, in my
honest opinion, and that is whatthey've done.
So this bronze that you can useto purchase different
variations of the legion weapons, the transmogs, the mounts, all
(12:48):
of it.
So they don't bring out oldlegion mounts.
Okay, they do, but they put atwist on it, they put a remix on
it, and the example that I'mgoing to give here is
Fel-infused class mounts.
So, back in Legion.
Oh, this is so good, though.
Back in Legion, there were 21class order hall mounts.
(13:12):
Okay, this is for DKs mages,warlocks, druids.
Each class had a differentmount and this was based around
their class order halls andstuff.
You had to do a quest line forit.
All of them were so good, okay,but they are putting the remix
(13:34):
on it and that remix isFel-infused.
So, instead of them being theirusual what was, was it?
The mage has got like a flyingdisc.
Okay, this disc came in a fewcolors blue, red and purple.
Instead of that, it's going tobe fell infused, so it's green.
Okay, so all of these mountswill be very green.
(13:58):
Now I play a druid.
The mount that we got.
I say mount.
We got a new flight form, soare you telling me that I'm
going to get a fel-infusedflight form?
So a legion green, like I don'teven know what it was called,
like a bird or something.
(14:18):
How cool is that?
Like a bird or something, howcool is that?
I'm really excited for that.
Okay, really, really excited.
But this is just one of thethings that you can basically
get.
Okay, I don't know if this isgoing to be for bronze.
You might need to do the actualquest line for these fel
infused mounts.
I kind of hope that you do,because the quest lines for them
(14:40):
was very solid.
They were very, very good, so Iwould recommend it.
But you can get other bit, bitsand pieces that have never been
in world of warcraft before.
So another example of this isthe azhara inspired sort of
robes.
So azhara's got a very uniquemodel.
When you see her in the eye ofeternity dungeon I want to say
(15:01):
it's Eye of Eternity in class,or Kata, and very much in
Azshara Azshuna, when you'requesting you'll see her like
Night Elf model.
She has a very unique look andyou can't get any of this like
transmog, essentially anywherewithin WoW.
So this is something new thatthey are also bringing that
again you can transfer later oninto retail.
(15:24):
You do not get just, you do notjust get stuck with it in Legion
Remix.
You get it in retail.
Eventually you get differentmultiple pieces like shields,
weapons.
One of the coolest weapons thatI've ever seen is Chalamain and
the Chalamain um is varian'ssword.
(15:44):
Okay, this sword has never beenable to be acquired in retail
in any version of wow, ever.
You are now able to collect itas a transmog and it is a fell
corrupted version of it.
Okay, it's.
It's so cool.
(16:05):
I love that they've gone withthat sort of um, um, twist on
the items is the best way to putit something else that is very
much one of the.
There's two things that is verymuch one of the collectibles
within legion and that is thescythe of the unmaker.
This scythe is collected fromargus at the end of the final
(16:28):
raid in legion, and there aretwo versions of it, one mythic
and one normal slash heroic,these being red and blue colored
.
They are again making a greenor a fell green version of this
scythe, so again, it's justanother color that you can go
and pick up.
We obviously have a differentsort of um mounts and transmogs.
(16:52):
There's no sort of name on them, so they sort of are unreleased
content that have never beenseen in WoW before, which is
really cool.
This is what they did in Mistsof Pandaria any cut content they
sort of put in, and these areusually mounts or transmogs.
So I'm all for that.
And then you obviously havedifferent uh things that you can
(17:15):
buy off of the vendor.
So one of the things that a lotof people love is the first
satyrs spaulders, and theseshoulder pads are so cool
looking.
I farmed them.
These are one of the only fewthings I've ever farmed weekly
and I did manage to get them.
They are like a point like a0.9 drop chance.
It's ridiculous, um, but youcan buy them with bronze.
(17:41):
So if your pure goal is to getthese shoulders, you log into
remix, you start farming bronze.
You see how much you need like3 000, it's something like that.
You farm 3 000 bronze, whichdoesn't take a lot of time.
I will say that it was veryquick, um, because you get
bronze from doing everything inthe game killing a mob, to doing
a quest, to fishing, everything.
(18:03):
Okay, so that's what you wantget that 3 000 bronze.
Log out, don't have to doanything again.
You will eventually have thaton retail.
And if you can't wait to havethat on retail, you can simply
press a button that says like,transfer to retail on that Remix
(18:24):
character and they will go toretail.
You cannot undo this.
Okay, they have stated that youcannot undo this.
Obviously, you would have tomake another Rem remix character
if you wanted to carry on.
But, yeah, they're bringingback all of the older like
mounts as well.
Any mount that you can get insort of Legion as of now will be
(18:45):
available within this remix aswell.
Now a couple of things that theyare changing in the remix is
and these are the big changes isthe artifact weapons.
People might be thinking, oh,but the artifact weapons wasn't
so bad.
It got to a point where it waspretty bad.
Ok, I loved the concept, butthey have gone with a much more
(19:07):
simpler process to it.
They have gone for, essentially, you get your core basics of
the artifact weapon, so I'll, orboomkins on the scythe of a
loon, you have.
You get your full moons, yeah,simple, for uh, mages.
You get whatever it might befrost, firebolt, whatever it was
(19:28):
, ebon chill, it was, uh, Ican't remember no, phoenix
flames for fellow malone, um,which is really cool.
But you get the core likeability, and you get probably a
few other things like increasedintellect by 10, these kind of
things that you unlock.
But then there's five differentstrands that you can go down.
These strands are nature, holy,arcane, storm and something
(19:54):
else I can't remember, butessentially they're five
different elements, it seems,and when you pick up artifact
power or whatever it might be,you essentially can further on
this row and it will have likeconduits that you put in, kind
of like what you did in lee orin legion, but more kind of like
(20:16):
shadowlands is the best way todescribe it.
When you put in conduits and ifyou want to change, you want to
go from, let's say, nature toholy, you can do that.
You can do that as freely asyou want and whenever you want,
and you don't have to worryabout the conduits.
The conduits will always bedropping for multiple like
(20:37):
things.
So even if you aren't on holy,like the holy tree, as it were,
in that artifact, uh, you canstill get conduits that are for
that holy tree, okay, so you donot need to worry about having
to refarm stuff in order to getthe old conduits or whatever it
might be.
So this is a really cool change.
I'm very curious to see how itworks in practice, but I don't
(21:01):
think it's that bad of a changein my honest opinion, and I
think it's definitely somethingthat they can look and take
feedback from for potentialsystems going into the future,
for potential systems going intothe future.
I think that they are very muchgoing to use the remixes as a
test run for these sort ofthings.
I really do.
The next thing that I want totalk about, and probably end on,
(21:24):
is that they are doing aDiablo-style world tier.
Okay, so for those of you thatnever played Diablo, diablo has
different difficulties.
These difficulties change theentirety of the world, okay, not
just like dungeons or anythinglike that, or caves or whatever
is the entire world.
(21:45):
So you have azeroth, you havethe broken isles, where legion,
the expansion of legion, isbasically done.
You have the base broken isles.
This is where all the mobs havenormal health, normal, whatever
it might be, damage, etc.
Then when you get to a certainpower and you think you know
(22:06):
what the rewards that I'mgetting on this island, this
world tier isn't good enough.
I'm going to go up to the nexttier.
So you go up to the next tier.
So you go up to the next tier.
The rewards increase, but themobs have better, better health,
better damage, and eventuallythey will have affixes.
These affixes are from mythicplus and they will get to a
(22:30):
point where you can constantlyupgrade the world around you so
that the current world contentis never out of date, which is
really, really good, and it'ssomething that I would love to
see more iterated in WoW, inpotentially even in retail, if
that's a thing, or maybe likeClassic Plus.

You know something along thesesort of lines.
I think that Remix will be avery much playground for them to
test out these ideas andpotentially use them in either
upcoming expansions or oldexpansions with a little bit of
a twist.
So essentially, this will allowyou to keep scaling
(23:13):
indefinitely because you getbetter world drops.
You get better everything,essentially.
But because your cloak canalways scale up, there's always
a more difficult difficulty youcan go to, if that made any
sense.
So I love that they're makingthese two very big changes,
(23:34):
because it's not going to feellike we're just playing Legion
again.
It's going to feel like we'reactually playing a different
version of it.
I think that's kind of wherethey flopped in Mists of
Pandaria, where it was.
We're just playing Mists ofPandaria, but with a really good
cloak and OP characters,whereas this is like, okay, now
we can really push it to thelimits.
Um, and this is a differentversion of the game.

This is a plus version of worldof warcraft that we are playing
, which is really cool.

All of this, all of thedifferent types.
There is something for everysingle specialization and class.
So this is really good and areally solid feature to like add
to the game at the start of theexpansion, because during
cataclysm they failed to do thisand this led to cataclysm
dropping off very quickly earlyon in its release.
(06:42):
Because, yep, okay, done all ofthe dungeons, I don't need
heroic dungeons anymore.
So what do I do?
Oh, okay, I raid.
Okay, I've done the raids forthis week.
So what do I do?
Okay, we log off and we raidlog.
Okay, for those of you thatdon't know, raid logging is when
you log in just to do the raidfor the week and then log off
again, kind of deal.
(07:03):
I don't think it's too bad.
I think it very much depends onthe guild.
I think if you're going forworld first mythic, you can't
really do that, but if you'redoing this with like a very
chilled guild and it's just agroup of friends kind of getting
together every week.
This is really good andsomething that I think is quite
healthy, to be honest, and Ithink that's kind of the dynamic
(07:26):
we have sometimes with ourguild, where we will eventually
just say that's fine, theexpansion's kind of over, we'll
raid, log or we'll just dosomething else.
We'll still keep in touch,discord and stuff, but you know
this sort of thing.
But these dungeons actuallyallow you to level and gear alts
very effectively, meaning thatthe expansion has more longevity
(07:50):
, and that is always a goodthing.
You need longevity in certainexpansions to keep them going.
So this is a big win, in myopinion, for Mists of Pandaria
Classic.
Now I want to move on to the bignews that we've all heard, and
that is Legion Remix.
So Mists of Pandaria Remix cameout last year and it was such a
(08:17):
big success.
They were like okay, we've gotto do other expansions with this
, that's fine.
What essentially the remix isis a version of that expansion.
In this case it's going to belegion and you get to experience
all of the content from thatexpansion, just in a very
(08:38):
accelerated way.
This accelerated way is done.
Obviously it releases dungeonsand raids very quickly.
I think they're going torelease it every two weeks like
a new raid.
So it will start off with theEmerald Dream and then it will
move into Nighthold two weekslater and then Antorus two weeks
later.
There's raids I've definitelymissed, but you get the point.
(09:00):
So that's the acceleratedtimeline.
But it's also in Mists of missapandaria remix.
You had a cloak and what thiscloak did was you never
unequipped it, but youconstantly added to it and you
added to its power and thiscloak could indefinitely level
(09:22):
up.
Okay, okay, so you get infinitestats, infinite XP gain,
infinite everything.
Okay to this cloak.
So you just scale indefinitely.
There is no limit to this.
And this is the sort of what isit?
The twist on the expansion?
Okay, this is the remix of itand this is really cool.
(09:45):
This is a really cool feature.
This allows you to level a lotof alts, if this is your
preferred way of using the remix.
This allows you to farm content, farm cosmetics, farm mounts,
farm, whatever you want.
And I do have to say thisLegion Remix all of the
characters will eventually gointo retail when it is complete
(10:07):
after the, after the three, fourmonths that it's usually out
for.
Okay, so all of the charactersthat you have on legion remix
will move to retail.
Okay, they will.
It's a guarantee you you cannotkeep them in legion, I promise
you.
So what essentially does legionremix do?
(10:29):
It allows you to levelcharacters, it allows you to buy
cosmetics and it allows you toexperience legion in a certain
different way.
Okay, because we're eventually,from my point of view, we are
going to experience legionclassic soon.
I experienced legion when itfirst came out, one of the best
(10:51):
expansions I've ever played.
Okay, it is definitely topthree and really has a strong
case for being the bestexpansion.
It's that simple.
I will have played Legion backin 2016 and now Legion Remix.
After Legion Remix, a couple ora year or so after that, you
(11:15):
will have Legion Classic.
That I would have played threeLegion expansions and honestly,
I cannot wait for all of them.
They've done it in a way whereit's actually quite spread out
enough.
Well, obviously, the 10-yeargap between when Legion first
released and the remix is a bigenough gap.
But the remix and the classicversion because Mists of
(11:38):
Pandaria remix, released veryclosely to actually Mists of
Pandaria Remix, released veryclosely to actually Mists of
Pandaria Classic, which kind ofgave it a bit of a oh, do I
really want to go through theJade Forest again, that kind of
deal but honestly, it wascompletely fine, but sidetracked
.
What can you do in Legion Remix?
Like I said, cosmetics andleveling is the main thing.
(11:59):
So, during your journeys inlegion remix, you will collect
something that is called bronze,and what bronze is is
essentially just a currency, butthis will allow you to purchase
cosmetics.
Okay, these cosmetics and it isonly cosmetics in legion remix
net, we know because, because inMists of Pandaria, they made
(12:26):
the mistake of making it so thatyou could use bronze to
purchase upgrades for your cloak, and it was ridiculous, because
that shouldn't be the case.
The currency should only belinked to cosmetics, in my
honest opinion, and that is whatthey've done.
So this bronze that you can useto purchase different
variations of the legion weapons, the transmogs, the mounts, all
(12:48):
of it.
So they don't bring out oldlegion mounts.
Okay, they do, but they put atwist on it, they put a remix on
it, and the example that I'mgoing to give here is
Fel-infused class mounts.
So, back in Legion.
Oh, this is so good, though.
Back in Legion, there were 21class order hall mounts.
(13:12):
Okay, this is for DKs mages,warlocks, druids.
Each class had a differentmount and this was based around
their class order halls andstuff.
You had to do a quest line forit.
All of them were so good, okay,but they are putting the remix
(13:34):
on it and that remix isFel-infused.
So, instead of them being theirusual what was, was it?
The mage has got like a flyingdisc.
Okay, this disc came in a fewcolors blue, red and purple.
Instead of that, it's going tobe fell infused, so it's green.
Okay, so all of these mountswill be very green.
(13:58):
Now I play a druid.
The mount that we got.
I say mount.
We got a new flight form, soare you telling me that I'm
going to get a fel-infusedflight form?
So a legion green, like I don'teven know what it was called,
like a bird or something.
(14:18):
How cool is that?
Like a bird or something, howcool is that?
I'm really excited for that.
Okay, really, really excited.
But this is just one of thethings that you can basically
get.
Okay, I don't know if this isgoing to be for bronze.
You might need to do the actualquest line for these fel
infused mounts.
I kind of hope that you do,because the quest lines for them
(14:40):
was very solid.
They were very, very good, so Iwould recommend it.
But you can get other bit, bitsand pieces that have never been
in world of warcraft before.
So another example of this isthe azhara inspired sort of
robes.
So azhara's got a very uniquemodel.
When you see her in the eye ofeternity dungeon I want to say
(15:01):
it's Eye of Eternity in class,or Kata, and very much in
Azshara Azshuna, when you'requesting you'll see her like
Night Elf model.
She has a very unique look andyou can't get any of this like
transmog, essentially anywherewithin WoW.
So this is something new thatthey are also bringing that
again you can transfer later oninto retail.
(15:24):
You do not get just, you do notjust get stuck with it in Legion
Remix.
You get it in retail.
Eventually you get differentmultiple pieces like shields,
weapons.
One of the coolest weapons thatI've ever seen is Chalamain and
the Chalamain um is varian'ssword.
(15:44):
Okay, this sword has never beenable to be acquired in retail
in any version of wow, ever.
You are now able to collect itas a transmog and it is a fell
corrupted version of it.
Okay, it's.
It's so cool.
(16:05):
I love that they've gone withthat sort of um, um, twist on
the items is the best way to putit something else that is very
much one of the.
There's two things that is verymuch one of the collectibles
within legion and that is thescythe of the unmaker.
This scythe is collected fromargus at the end of the final
(16:28):
raid in legion, and there aretwo versions of it, one mythic
and one normal slash heroic,these being red and blue colored
.
They are again making a greenor a fell green version of this
scythe, so again, it's justanother color that you can go
and pick up.
We obviously have a differentsort of um mounts and transmogs.
(16:52):
There's no sort of name on them, so they sort of are unreleased
content that have never beenseen in WoW before, which is
really cool.
This is what they did in Mistsof Pandaria any cut content they
sort of put in, and these areusually mounts or transmogs.
So I'm all for that.
And then you obviously havedifferent uh things that you can
(17:15):
buy off of the vendor.
So one of the things that a lotof people love is the first
satyrs spaulders, and theseshoulder pads are so cool
looking.
I farmed them.
These are one of the only fewthings I've ever farmed weekly
and I did manage to get them.
They are like a point like a0.9 drop chance.
It's ridiculous, um, but youcan buy them with bronze.
(17:41):
So if your pure goal is to getthese shoulders, you log into
remix, you start farming bronze.
You see how much you need like3 000, it's something like that.
You farm 3 000 bronze, whichdoesn't take a lot of time.
I will say that it was veryquick, um, because you get
bronze from doing everything inthe game killing a mob, to doing
a quest, to fishing, everything.
(18:03):
Okay, so that's what you wantget that 3 000 bronze.
Log out, don't have to doanything again.
You will eventually have thaton retail.
And if you can't wait to havethat on retail, you can simply
press a button that says like,transfer to retail on that Remix
(18:24):
character and they will go toretail.
You cannot undo this.
Okay, they have stated that youcannot undo this.
Obviously, you would have tomake another Rem remix character
if you wanted to carry on.
But, yeah, they're bringingback all of the older like
mounts as well.
Any mount that you can get insort of Legion as of now will be
(18:45):
available within this remix aswell.
Now a couple of things that theyare changing in the remix is
and these are the big changes isthe artifact weapons.
People might be thinking, oh,but the artifact weapons wasn't
so bad.
It got to a point where it waspretty bad.
Ok, I loved the concept, butthey have gone with a much more
(19:07):
simpler process to it.
They have gone for, essentially, you get your core basics of
the artifact weapon, so I'll, orboomkins on the scythe of a
loon, you have.
You get your full moons, yeah,simple, for uh, mages.
You get whatever it might befrost, firebolt, whatever it was
(19:28):
, ebon chill, it was, uh, Ican't remember no, phoenix
flames for fellow malone, um,which is really cool.
But you get the core likeability, and you get probably a
few other things like increasedintellect by 10, these kind of
things that you unlock.
But then there's five differentstrands that you can go down.
These strands are nature, holy,arcane, storm and something
(19:54):
else I can't remember, butessentially they're five
different elements, it seems,and when you pick up artifact
power or whatever it might be,you essentially can further on
this row and it will have likeconduits that you put in, kind
of like what you did in lee orin legion, but more kind of like
(20:16):
shadowlands is the best way todescribe it.
When you put in conduits and ifyou want to change, you want to
go from, let's say, nature toholy, you can do that.
You can do that as freely asyou want and whenever you want,
and you don't have to worryabout the conduits.
The conduits will always bedropping for multiple like
(20:37):
things.
So even if you aren't on holy,like the holy tree, as it were,
in that artifact, uh, you canstill get conduits that are for
that holy tree, okay, so you donot need to worry about having
to refarm stuff in order to getthe old conduits or whatever it
might be.
So this is a really cool change.
I'm very curious to see how itworks in practice, but I don't
(21:01):
think it's that bad of a changein my honest opinion, and I
think it's definitely somethingthat they can look and take
feedback from for potentialsystems going into the future,
for potential systems going intothe future.
I think that they are very muchgoing to use the remixes as a
test run for these sort ofthings.
I really do.
The next thing that I want totalk about, and probably end on,
(21:24):
is that they are doing aDiablo-style world tier.
Okay, so for those of you thatnever played Diablo, diablo has
different difficulties.
These difficulties change theentirety of the world, okay, not
just like dungeons or anythinglike that, or caves or whatever
is the entire world.
(21:45):
So you have azeroth, you havethe broken isles, where legion,
the expansion of legion, isbasically done.
You have the base broken isles.
This is where all the mobs havenormal health, normal, whatever
it might be, damage, etc.
Then when you get to a certainpower and you think you know
(22:06):
what the rewards that I'mgetting on this island, this
world tier isn't good enough.
I'm going to go up to the nexttier.
So you go up to the next tier.
So you go up to the next tier.
The rewards increase, but themobs have better, better health,
better damage, and eventuallythey will have affixes.
These affixes are from mythicplus and they will get to a
(22:30):
point where you can constantlyupgrade the world around you so
that the current world contentis never out of date, which is
really, really good, and it'ssomething that I would love to
see more iterated in WoW, inpotentially even in retail, if
that's a thing, or maybe likeClassic Plus.
(22:51):
You know something along thesesort of lines.
I think that Remix will be avery much playground for them to
test out these ideas andpotentially use them in either
upcoming expansions or oldexpansions with a little bit of
a twist.
So essentially, this will allowyou to keep scaling
(23:13):
indefinitely because you getbetter world drops.
You get better everything,essentially.
But because your cloak canalways scale up, there's always
a more difficult difficulty youcan go to, if that made any
sense.
So I love that they're makingthese two very big changes,
(23:34):
because it's not going to feellike we're just playing Legion
again.
It's going to feel like we'reactually playing a different
version of it.
I think that's kind of wherethey flopped in Mists of
Pandaria, where it was.
We're just playing Mists ofPandaria, but with a really good
cloak and OP characters,whereas this is like, okay, now
we can really push it to thelimits.
Um, and this is a differentversion of the game.
(23:57):
This is a plus version of worldof warcraft that we are playing
, which is really cool.
But that is where I will end itfor this episode.
