The future is knocking, but 2026 makes us do the prep work first.

Get on the calendar. Links below. Prices are going up in January.

During the upcoming year, we’re closing doors that no longer fit, clearing out worn structures, and laying down the bones of something sturdier. With the nodes moving from Pisces–Virgo to Aquarius–Leo, we talk candidly about why the year feels like a pre-launch, how to handle the friction of almost-but-not-yet, and where to aim your effort so growth actually sticks.

We dig into the difference between mean and true nodes, share the exact shift dates, and translate the Aquarius North Node into real choices: stronger systems, cleaner boundaries, community-first design, and ideas that hold up under Saturn’s glare. Leo doesn’t get tossed; it gets refined. Recognition follows contribution, so creators, founders, and leaders learn how to upgrade their message, prune ego-heavy habits, and bring something truly new to the people they serve. We also map Aquarius and Leo across the natal houses to make the guidance personal and actionable.

Key timing anchors the strategy. A North Node solar eclipse in Aquarius on February 17 previews 2027’s themes and opportunities. A total lunar eclipse in Virgo on March 3 offers practical, supportive shifts. On August 12, a total solar eclipse in Leo highlights what to tone down in the spotlight zone—brand signals, attention-chasing, or creative cycles ripe for reset. The final Pisces lunar eclipse closes an 18‑month spiritual storyline, helping you claim your practices, your soul-bonded people, and your intuitive compass so you can move forward clean.

If you’re ready to build for the collective and still stand tall, this conversation gives you the dates, the lens, and the questions to guide your next moves. Subscribe, share with a friend who’s plotting a pivot, and leave a review to tell us where Aquarius lands in your chart and what you’re building next.

SPEAKER_00 (00:02):
Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology.
I'm your astrologer, KateLeonard, and I'm excited to
explore the stars with you.
Hi everyone, welcome to partthree of the preview of 2026
series that I've been doing theend of the year, and I am
literally recording this onChristmas Day.

(00:24):
So if that's a holiday youcelebrate, Merry Christmas! How
cool is this?
I have to say, it's weird.
I'm alone for Christmas Day, andit's kind of feeling really good
that I'm spending it doing this.
I know that a lot of you havenever seen me or never talked to
me.
IRL.

(00:45):
And it seems kind of weird forme to say this, but when I'm
doing this recording, I reallydo feel like you're here and
like I'm talking to you.
So Merry Christmas and thanksfor being with me today.
Even if you listen to this, nottoday.
Wow, I promised that I wouldtalk about the nodes changing
axis.

(01:06):
The nodes are going to shift in2026, and that means karma,
fate, destiny, where the nodesgo, eclipses go.
So this is one of those weirdhybrid years where we get a
preview of the next series ofeclipses.

(01:26):
And so it's a big, big year.
It's a big, big deal.
And I want to start by sayingthat it's just in keeping with
all of the other crazy thingsgoing on this year.
It's been hard for me to kind oflabel the year.
I was in a group meeting, agroup workshop the other day.

(01:47):
And afterwards, I thought, youknow, I really didn't get to the
heart of it.
And part of it is because thisyear is going to be so many
things that it's hard to kind ofsay, here's what it is.
Let me just simply label 2026.
So, in an effort to do that, Iwant to reiterate what I've been

(02:09):
saying all of 2025, but evenmore so with that Neptune-Saturn
exact conjunction coming inFebruary of 2026.
This is a a year of finishingsome things we've been going

(02:29):
through and launching a wholenew phase of our life.
Okay, that's that's what thisyear really is.
It's the year of dismantling oldstructures.
It's the year of closing doorsthat have needed to be closed
and just getting ready to stepthrough that new one.

(02:51):
So there's something not quitenice about this year, right?
And I think that's gonna be thefrustrating thing.
Yeah.
I think we are all ready to moveon, right?
Let's walk through that nextdoor.
And it's sort of like we put ourtoe through toward the end of
this year, but we don't get tofully launch.

(03:14):
We don't get to fully get intothat next chapter.
That's how I see this yearworking.
I see it being frustrating.
But if you are feelingfrustrated, I want you to
remember that we've got to closethings out before we can fully
walk through that next door,right?
So it's an important year, it'sgigantic, it's complicated.

(03:40):
And it is the launch.
Nah, see, it's already not that.
It's like the pre-launch, right?
It's the stuff we've got to doso that we can really jump
through the portal.
That's how I'm putting it.
I hope that's helpful.
And now let's get into thenodes.
Okay, so first there's always athing about the nodes.

(04:01):
You will hear astrologers talkabout the mean nodes and the
true nodes, and that's becausethese things jiggle around a
little bit, not really, butanyway, go with me.
That's what it appears to be.
I use the mean nodes always andfor everything, because the
other jiggle, I just don't findthe payoff.

(04:25):
But a lot of astrologers onlyuse the true nodes for
everything.
Some astrologers use the truenodes for big world events,
world predictions, or like whenthe nodes are changing.
Some use them for eclipses, butthen they use the mean for

(04:46):
personal readings.
All I can say is I use the meannodes for everything.
So I'm gonna give you both dateswhen the true nodes change and
when the mean nodes change.
That's a whole astrology lessonthat I don't have time to do
here, but you can you can Googleit.
And you do you, right?

(05:06):
Both are valid.
So the nodes are moving fromPisces Virgo to Leo Aquarius.
The north node will be inAquarius, and the South Node
will be in Leo.
So this happens if you're a truenode kind of person.

(05:28):
This happens on July 26th.
If you are a mean node person,it happens on August 18th.
At the end of the podcast, I'llgive you the dates of the
eclipses, okay, because thoseare really important this year.
Okay, so what does it mean?
They spend 18 months on eachaxis.

(05:52):
So the North Node spent 18months in Pisces, it's gonna
spend 18 months in Aquarius, andafter that, it will spend 18
months in Capricorn.
You get it.
South node is always exactlyopposite.
North Node is expansion, um,life lessons.

(06:12):
Okay.
So when we're talking aboutdestiny, those of you who've had
personal readings with me, youknow I liken it to a toddler
learning to walk.
It's the destiny we want ourchildren to learn to walk.
Yeah, that's a good, good goal.
But while they're learning, they're gonna get some bruises,
they're gonna fall down, goboom.
That's the north node.

(06:34):
The north node is taking us andsaying, hey, learn lessons in
this area.
Grow in this area, expand inthis area.
And when anything is new andlife lessons are involved, it
may not be the most fun momentin our lives, right?
We might be like, oh my gosh, Idon't know how to do this.

(06:55):
It's a little scary.
Or I tried a thing and it didn'twork.
The goal with the north note isthen you keep trying because
there are lessons and growth tobe had.
And beyond all that, it is fadedthat you grow in this area
during this 18-month period.
Okay, south node.

(07:17):
We know that's the oppositething, right?
That's the stuff we've alreadykind of mastered, or we have an
abundance and we need to let itgo.
Focus on the north, release someof that south node.
Now, the problem with the southnode is because we know it, it's
comfy cozy.
And so we want to cling there.

(07:38):
Sometimes it's like, no, thenorth node is making me really
nervous, or I'm really kind ofscared about that.
Or I had one of those hardbruises happen that Kate's
always talking about.
And I'm gonna go hide in mysouth node because that's my
comfy blanket that I alreadyunderstand.
Don't do that thing.

(07:58):
Don't you do that thing.
It's okay to take a littlebreather there if you need to,
but the goal is to release letgo.
Now, always when we haveoppositions, what is the true
goal?
Balance between the two.
So when I say let go, I don'tmean look at all that stuff

(08:20):
where the south node is and dumpit out the window.
That is not at all what I'msaying.
I'm just saying don't sit therein comfort.
Find that north node energy, grow in that energy, and then
find a way to find the balancebetween those two.
There is no sign of the zodiacor house in our charts that we

(08:42):
want to just cut out and throwaway.
That is not the goal.
Balance is the goal.
But that balance will come fromreleasing a little bit in the
south node area and adding andgrowing and leaning into the
north node.
That's how we'll find thebalance.
With all of that said, let'stalk about where this is all

(09:04):
going.
Leo Aquarius, right?
Aquarius is the people.
Aquarius is authenticity, it'sforward thinking, it's looking
to the future, it's innovation,it can be technology, but
people, I'm a Hellenisticastrologer.

(09:27):
The rulership system is anancient system.
Please do not assign Uranus toAquarius.
The ancients who created thatsystem didn't know there was
such a planet.
The ruler of Aquarius, I knowpeople don't like to hear this,
but it's Saturn.
It is Saturn.

(09:47):
So it's about work and goals, right?
Saturn-like structure.
And remember, this year is allabout dissolving structures.
That's that Neptune-Saturnconjunction in February, really
starts before then.
It's really, we've alreadydipped into it, but that's when

(10:08):
it goes exact.
It's about dissolving oldstructures and building new ones
that fit this new chapter of ourlife.
So we have to look ahead.
What do we need to let go of?
What's just outworn?
What is just no longer the waywe want to define ourselves?

(10:28):
What's that new vision?
Because that's where Aquarius,North Node, we need to put that
hard work and we need to buildthe structure that carries us
forward.
What is that structure?
Well, partly we can think aboutit as being more about

(10:51):
community, less self and moreabout community.
Why?
Partly because the self note isin Leo, where we shine, where we
get the attention.
You guys who are trying to getfamous, do anything, I'm not
saying don't get famous.
So hold on just a bit.
Don't click out of the podcast.

(11:13):
You get to be famous, it's allgood.
But when you're trying to getthat Leo recognition, how do you
get that by better serving thecollective?
How do you stand in thespotlight because you're really
bringing something new forward,Aquarius, because you're

(11:34):
bringing something forward thatnobody else is saying?
So you want to be an influencer,Groovy, you get to do that.
We're not saying ditch Leo,right?
Where the South Note is.
This uh nodal shift is saying, yes, how do you get more
authentic, more innovative, morefresh?

(11:57):
And isn't that what being a trueinfluencer is all about, right?
And whatever thing you want todo to kind of stand in the
spotlight.
You want to be famous or beknown.
This isn't about fame always.
It's about recognition.
How do you want to berecognized?
How do you want to gain respect?

(12:18):
That's what Leo is, right?
Respect, recognition, fame, allof those things.
It's gonna be about gettingreally new, really fresh,
looking ahead.
Say that thing that other peoplehaven't already said.
You do you, but you do it withthe intent of bringing something

(12:39):
new and wonderful to thecollective?
So I want the spotlight, butit's because I want to in some
way serve.
Have you gotten too into yourego?
Have you gotten too into sort ofthis comfortable message,

(13:01):
whatever in whatever area oflife that falls for you?
Have you gotten so into thismessage that you've been talking
about for a really long timethat you're just like pushing
it, pushing it, pushing it?
It's it's pushing an old idea, agenda, message, style.

(13:22):
I'm thinking of all the kind ofways this can show up.
You know, influencers, thatmessage you've been selling
needs an upgrade.
I know a lot of us don't want tohear this, right?
It's like, but I've worked sohard on this.
Not saying ditch the wholething, but how do you upgrade
it?
And how do you think more ofwhat you want to bring out for

(13:47):
the good of the community you'retrying to serve or reach or
appeal to or lead.
Fill in the language, right?
Now you know what I'm gonna say.
Look at a couple of things.
Aquarius and Leo in your natalchart.
Those houses are gonna tell youthe topics.

(14:10):
There's a way in which this isgeneral information, general
energy for all of us.
But where are you gonna reallyfocus it?
Really have to consider thesekinds, this kind of growth and
change and new energy.
That's gonna be in the houses.
Where's Aquarius?

(14:30):
That's where you need to grow, that's where you need to put
more effort, more attention, youneed to move toward that
Aquarius house.
Is it your first house?
That's you.
You do you.
Think more of you and yourauthentic self.
And changing up maybe yourpresentation, right?

(14:51):
Your very personal statement.
Fourth house, you know, as homeand family, fifth house,
children and creativity, creative projects, seventh is
primary relationships, tenth isum career, eleventh, your tribe.
Twelfth is a difficult house.

(15:13):
That's solitude and mentalhealth, things like that.
Okay, I did them all except afew.
Second, finances.
Third, siblings incommunication.
What else did I miss?
Sixth, that's physical health.
How do you need to lean intoyour physical health?
What else did I miss?

(15:34):
Eighth, that's joint finances, debt, investments, those kinds
of things need to grow in thatarea.
Uh, ninth, higher education, spirituality, and I think I got
them all.
Sorry that's out of order.
That was crazy that I did that, right?
But I have to tell you, it'sChristmas Day, and I'm not gonna

(15:57):
go back and re-record that.
So I hope you stay with that.
Anyway, you know, everybodylistening to me at this point
knows how to look at their chartfor their houses, right?
If you don't, you need to book areading.
Prices are going up in 2026.
Book it now, get on the books.
With all of that said, I thinkyou get where we're going.
I think that kind of summed itup, and I don't want this to be

(16:17):
too long, but I do want to giveyou the dates that are
important.
Solar eclipse, north nodeeclipse in Aquarius on February
17th.
Y'all, this is gonna beimportant, important, important
because we've got Aquarius.

(16:40):
This is gonna give you somehints about what's to come.
This is a preview of 2027 forsure.
Then March 3rd, we've got thetotal, and you know those are
always stronger, total lunareclipse in Virgo.
This is kind of wonderful.

(17:01):
I don't have time to go into allthe details, but just know this
while a total eclipse is usuallyreally kabang and we're all like
reeling for a while.
This is a kind of wonderfuleclipse because it's making some
really positive aspects.
So expect, you know, reallyfaded opportunities and yeah,

(17:25):
expect some good luck stuff tocome from this one.
I'm I'm kind of loving this,which I normally don't with with
total eclipses.
Then on August 12th, we've got atotal solar eclipse in Leo.
This is a south node eclipse.

(17:47):
And so look at um messages andum faded happenings that are
kind of telling you how toreadjust in that Leo area of
your life?
What do you need to let go of?
What do you need to tone down, maybe?

(18:08):
So Leo is bright, it's ruled bythe sun, and this is a solar
eclipse.
What part of that Leo area orLeo themes, recognition, fame,
all that stuff we already talkedabout?
What part of that do you need toturn down?
There are gonna be some fadedthings that happen that kind of

(18:30):
go right here, tone this stuffdown, right?
Or let go of this, adjust inthis area.
And then finishing out eclipsesfor this year for 2026.
We've got the final eclipse inPisces.
So you know that's important.
This is a partial lunar eclipse, and like I said, it is the last

(18:52):
one in Pisces.
So this is kind of like thegrand finale.
This is the closing act of thenodes giving you those messages
that and they won't come backfor another like 18 years.
What do you need to close outhere in that house in your natal
chart where Pisces lives?

(19:13):
And Pisces is what?
It's spirituality.
You've probably been growingover the past year, somehow
spiritually, somehow in thatfinding your tribe, finding
people, or at least searchingdesperately for the people that
you have soul bonds with, reallydiving into intuition.

(19:36):
And there's been kind of a senseof urgency around that deep dive
into the waters of Pisces, intothe waters of spirituality.
This doesn't mean give up yourspirituality because it's moving
on.
Think of it more as bring it toa place where you're like, yeah,
I got this.

(19:57):
You know, I got this.
I know who I am spiritually.
I know who my soul-bonded tribeis.
I feel aligned with my intuitiveself.
And any of those like finalthreads that need to be handled
to kind of get you to that placeof feeling comfortable.

(20:19):
Yeah, you could get a kick inthe butt during this eclipse
saying, right here, you know, make an adjustment right here
because this is it.
This is this is fate pushing youover that finish line.
Finishing line?
How do you say that?
You know what I mean?
Crossing that finishing line sothat you can move on.

(20:41):
This one's interesting.
Final eclipses always are, theyalways bring a lot.
So get ready for this.
Anyway, I know that's a lot.
I've gone long.
Thank you so much for beinghere.
I'm so grateful for all of you.
Um, again, if you celebrate it,Merry Christmas.
Get on my books.
Even if it's for late next year, get on the calendar right now.

(21:05):
Prices are going up foreverybody, even existing
clients.
I'm sorry, I've got to raise itjust a little bit.
And um, yeah, that's all I'vegot.
I hope it's helpful.
I really am grateful for all ofyou.
January's a big month with agazillion kazimis.
Set your intentions.
I'll talk about that next time.

(21:26):
And until then, go out and seizethe energies of the stars.
This is my wish for you always.
And I'll talk to you in about aweek.
Bye.
