The sky finally gives us a soft landing and a sturdy boost. We open the week with Venus in Virgo sextiling Jupiter exalted in Cancer—a sweet, generous window that rewards anyone willing to show up for connection, art, beauty, money moves, or simply feeling good in your own skin. This isn’t passive luck; it’s a nudge to step out of the house, find your people, and put yourself where good things can actually find you.

There’s more texture, too. A Full Moon in Aries lights up closure around the need to be in warrior mode. Mercury’s move into Scorpio deepens our focus, favors research and honest writing, and invites real talk. Keep an eye on the Mercury–Pluto square around the seventh; words carry power, and power needs care. Then comes the elegant backbone: Jupiter trines Saturn in Pisces, threading optimism with structure. The playful spark can become a plan, the flirt can become something real, the sketch can turn into a series. Saturn isn’t here to kill the vibe; it’s here to make joy sustainable.

By the tenth, Venus opposes Saturn, and we get to curate. What deserves your time? Which relationship feels reliable? Which creative thread still pulls after the buzz fades? We walk through a practical, heart-forward approach to choosing what lasts—balancing delight with devotion. If you’re seeking love, community, or a creative lift, this is your map: start light, then build. Share this with a friend who needs a gentle push. And if this guide helps you, subscribe, rate, and leave a review so more stargazers can find us. What are you committing to this week?

If you're interested in booking a session with me, you can find information and contact me through PiscesMoonAstrology.

Hello and welcome to Pisces Moon Astrology.
I'm your astrologer, KateLeonard, and I'm excited to
explore the stars with you.
Hi everyone.
Welcome to the week of October5th through October 11th.
Oh my goodness, it's a wonderfulmonth.

(00:22):
Yeah, I know it's like socliche.
We all like October.
Everybody loves fall, right?
And for those of you who don't,that's cool, but what?
You know what I'm saying.
Anyway, let's get into some veryinteresting and much more
positive astrology than we hadlast week.
Oh my God.

(00:43):
The messages I got from lastweek about when I said something
like, I don't want to leave youjust thinking, oh my gosh, this
week suck.
I said something to that effect.
Yeah, everybody was like, Yeah, that was a little too late,
Kate.
That was a little too late.
So I apologize for that.
Some weeks just are harder thanothers.
But you know what?

(01:04):
This isn't one of them.
So you're welcome.
Okay, so what are we going to betalking about?
I am looking at Venus in Virgo, making a sexy sextile to
Jupiter, still exalted, still incancer.
This is beautiful.
This is a positive aspect beingmade by the greater benefic,

(01:29):
Jupiter, exalted, and the lesserbenefic Venus.
This could not be prettier.
Well, it could be if it were atrine, but you know what?
We'll take the sextile.
At the same time, we've gotJupiter making a trine to
Saturn, who is in Pisces, makinghis last little bit of

(01:51):
retrograde there.
Normally I wouldn't throw thatin to this discussion of the
Venus Jupiter sextile, except,of course, there's an exception.
Except Venus this week, rightafter the sextile goes exact by
degree at 23 degrees, Venus isgoing to make an exact

(02:14):
opposition to Saturn.
I know Saturn is the greatermalefic and all the stuff.
Y'all know that I kind of likeSaturn unless he's doing a bad
thing, unless he's forming likea square or something.
And I hear you, an opposition isa bad thing, but I don't think
so.

(02:34):
I think this coming week isgonna be pretty good.
I think we've got some goodenergy.
All right.
Now, before I get into that, Iknow for a while now I've been
like, okay, we don't have such abusy sky.
You know, this thing that I'mfocusing on, that's there's not
a whole lot else.
Well, that is not true thisweek.
We got a lot of stuff going on.

(02:56):
Um, so we've got a full moon inAries on the sixth.
That is bringing something tocompletion that's had to do with
fighting for your individuality, taking a stand, you know,
becoming more authentically trueto yourself.

(03:17):
You might find that the need toreally duke it out or really
hold on so tight that Arieswarrior spirit, you might find
that we'll be able to loosen upa little bit after this full
moon.
All right.
Also on the 6th, Mercury movesinto Scorpio.
And my writer friends, I know alot of you are out there.

(03:40):
My writer friends, this isbeautiful for you.
Mercury, your planet of writing, and all the rest of you,
communication, travel, shortdistance travel, all that stuff.
But you writers, Scorpio isdeep.
It's fixed water, it's a deep,deep sign.

(04:00):
So this is the week to take thedeep dives.
Go in there and really plumb thedepths of your creativity.
Now, if you don't happen to be awriter, this is true for all of
us.
Stuff you've been wanting tosay, ideas you've had, you know,
all of that kind of stuff.
Yeah, go in deep, see what youreally, really feel, and bring

(04:22):
that stuff to the surface.
This is gonna be really, reallygood energy for that.
Um, one thing I'm not loving somuch is Mercury squaring Pluto
on the seventh.
Mercury is communication, Plutois power, a square is tension.
You kind of get it, right?

(04:44):
You don't need me to tell you.
So around the seventh, be waryof arguments, hostile words, you
know, whatever kind of thing itis, some kind of tension that
you're feeling like you have tocommunicate to some person in
power, or that they may be, youknow, speaking harshly to you,
whatever it is.

(05:04):
I don't love this Mercury SquarePluto thing.
But we don't have time to worryabout that because we've got
Venus sextiling Jupiter.
And so let's talk about that.
So, as a reminder, um, sextilesare angles of opportunity.
This is not like, you know, wheneclipses hit or the lunar nodes

(05:29):
are involved.
This is you gotta make ithappen.
And I wanna preface what I'mabout to say by you can let this
go by, either because you lookat that energy and you're like,
yeah, you know what, gonna pass.
Yeah, it's all pretty andeverything, but I'm not into
that right now.
Or you gotta get out and do it.

(05:51):
And what is that?
It I'm gonna tell you about thatin just a second.
All right.
But anyway, just keep in mindthis is not gonna beat you in
the head and make you acceptthis energy.
It's all on you.
Another little preface.
I know, stop with the prefaces.
I will really soon, after thisone.
It's easy to talk about lovewith Venus.

(06:11):
Venus is the goddess of love, right?
So we hear Venus and we allthink love, and very, very often
that is involved.
So, all of you out there lookingto couple up, especially after
that Venus self-node thing thatjust happened last week, where I
happen to know there were a lotof breakups and things like

(06:33):
that.
Yeah, wow, I've got a lot ofemails about them.
Those of you looking for love,uh, yeah, I think this is gonna
be kind of a fun week for you.
But for those of you who it'slike, Kate, I'm not about that.
Remember to check what houseVenus is in.
All right, so she's still inVirgo.

(06:54):
Where is that in your chart?
Venus rules art and beauty andcomfort and luxury and money,
more what it buys than how wemake it, depending on what kind
of field you're in.
If you're in the beauty industryor design or art or even
farming, that kind of stuff.
She rules Taurus, remember.

(07:14):
It can be about your job, butit's it's all that other stuff.
It's every kind of relationship.
So this could be aboutfriendship.
She rules sisters.
Oh, here's one that nobody ever, ever, ever talks about.
If you were born at night, Venuscan rule your mother, so she can

(07:35):
be about your mother as well.
For day chart, the moon is yourmother, so that doesn't count
for you.
But anyway, Venus rules a lot ofthings.
Um, she rules sweetness, sothings like sugar cravings,
right?
So what I'm trying to say is,even though it's very, very easy
to hear, like, oh, we're gonnado this Venus thing, and I'm
just not about relationshipsright now.

(07:57):
You are.
I was talking to a mentor ofmine today, and we were talking
about the relationship an artisthas to their work.
Like you're in a relationshipcontract with that project.
We're in relationships withpeople at work.
Okay, so Venus is there for you,and it's much better if she's in

(08:18):
a good space than if she's not,and this is a really fun space.
So even though it's easy tothink of her as love, you get
it.
She can be a lot of things.
And so, what is this sextilebringing up?
Well, Jupiter expands things, makes them more, and blesses.
Jupiter is the most blessedplanet in the sky, and he

(08:41):
expands.
So this week we're coming offthat horrible Venus South Node
thing from last week.
This week, put on your dancingshoes and party.
Flirt, have flirtations.
There will be people availableif you go out where they are.
Now, this is what I'm saying.
It they're not gonna beam me up,Scotty, whatever that thing is,

(09:04):
into your living room.
If you don't go where peopleare, those people aren't gonna
flirt with you.
Now, are they?
Okay, you get what I'm saying.
This is a sextile.
You gotta make it happen.
Maybe you even have to make thefirst little wink or finger gun,
you know.
You could tell, like I'm a I'mgreat at flirting, right?

(09:24):
Anyway, you know, get involved,be where it is, activate it.
If this doesn't meanflirtatious, romantic stuff for
you, still you want to find yourtribe.
It's weird.
I've been working with a lot ofpeople also who are talking
about not feeling like they'vefound their tribe yet.
This is a week of relationships, especially look if it's hitting

(09:47):
your 11th house.
Okay, this is a week ofrelationships.
So those friendships or justgroup identity, groups that you
want to be involved with, butyou gotta go where people are.
Okay, I can't stress thatenough.
Um, writers, you might want tobe in a writer's group this
week.

(10:07):
You may actually want to go, notjust online if you can possibly
avoid it.
Go where writers are meeting.
Artists, go where y'all meet.
I don't know what you where youguys meet.
I don't know.
Anyway, try to go there.
And if it's online, it's online.
I just feel like this energy, especially with Virgo involved,

(10:28):
very earthy.
If you can get out there whereit's happening, so groovy,
right?
So groovy.
Have flirtations with art, evenif it's like go to a museum, go
to a bookstore, whatever it is.
If it's gonna be hitting you insome kind of thing having to do
with your sister, third housesiblings, if it's about that,

(10:51):
then call her up and ask her forlunch.
It doesn't matter that you'vebeen feuding for the last 52
years, right?
Like this week, maybe you canget past that.
I love this sextile.
You, Virgo, first house people,Venus is in you.
This could be a glow up.

(11:12):
This is energy for a glow up,and all the rest of us, we can
glow up too.
Venus is still bringing us goodenergy.
It's that energy of like, I needto redo the purple in my hair.
And now, at the same time, thisis going on.
Jupiter, the expander, is makinga trine, the best possible

(11:34):
aspect to Saturn, the planet oflimitations.
Well, that doesn't sound good, except it's a trine, so it is.
All right, and Jupiter'sexalted, so he wins anyway.
So, what does that mean?
What is Saturn doing to all ofthis?
Adding a serious note to it,adding um some weight to it.

(11:57):
So you may feel this week forpart of the week like it's like,
yeah, I mean, that was fun, butI mean, I just broke up with
whoever it was last week who Ithought was gonna be like the
love of my life.
We were gonna, you know, go intothe sunset or whatever people
do.
Yeah, you might feel like, well, this was fun, but so what?

(12:20):
A Venus sextile Jupiter thingcan be very flirtatious.
It can be a lot of flirtations, maybe four or five different
partners you're playing aroundwith, right?
But you're like, that's not whatI'm looking for.
That doesn't fix that I justbroke up with Mr.
or Ms.
Wonderful, right?

(12:41):
They were, they were serious.
That's what I'm looking for.
Well, honey, it's gotta startwith that first wink and finger
gun.
So let it be that becauseSaturn's involved.
It's not gonna stop atflirtation.
There's gonna be somethingweightier about the energy that
gets put in motion this week.

(13:02):
So do not despair.
Don't feel like you're wastingyour time.
Now, is every art project, conversation with your sister,
you know, maybe you don't wantthe purple hair and you're gonna
like rinse it out really quick, you know, whatever it is.
Is every potential partner gonnabe the partner?
Well, of course not.

(13:22):
Of course not.
But there's some weightinesswith Saturn making this great
aspect that's really groundingus.
And remember, Venus is in Virgo,so she's also in an earthy
place.
There's something serious aboutthe frivolity.

(13:43):
Is that a word?
I really hope it is, but you getwhat I mean, right?
Okay, so then on the 10th, Venusis gonna move into that exact
opposition to Saturn.
And again, I hear you.
It's an opposition, it's thegreater malefic.
Who the heck wants that?

(14:05):
Well, we do now.
What does the opposition mean?
It means that we are gonna haveto navigate Venus, love, ah,
beauty, and then Saturn, workhard, stick to it, climb the
mountain, build a foundation.
Okay, is it so bad to navigatethose two energies?

(14:30):
Especially for those of you whoare like, I don't want all these
flirtations, I want somethingserious.
Well, yeah, you gotta figure outand grapple with do I want this
one or that one or this otherguy girl book hair color over
here?
Which one do I want?
I'm gonna have to grapple withthat a little bit.

(14:52):
Who do I really see a futurewith?
I honestly don't see a futurewith me with orange hair, but it
might be cool for October,right?
See what I'm saying?
So Saturn is really, reallyopposite energy from Venus, and
it's in an opposition, so wehave to navigate.

(15:13):
I don't think that's so bad.
Especially since the energy thatstarts the week is a little bit
frothy.
Adding some weight, putting in alittle effort, getting to that
next stage sounds good to me.
Now, again, oh, I want to talkto the writers and artists out

(15:34):
there just for a minute.
This is a week at the beginningto maybe not be zeroed in on
your great tome, the thing thatis going to be your legacy to
the art world.
Play, do free writing, do fingerpainting, play around.

(15:54):
And then when we get closer tothe 10th and moving on for even
a few days from there, even fora while, this energy will hold
for a little bit.
Then see what you want to beserious about.
Does one of them kind of grabyou?
Yeah, do that thing.
It is totally blessed byJupiter.
I'm telling you guys, this isinteresting energy, and I think

(16:20):
really good can come from it.
But, but, giant but you gottagrab that early Venus Jupiter
sextile first, because that'swhat Saturn is then gonna help
us firm up.
If you don't grab the sextile, Idon't know how this will play

(16:42):
out.
Quite frankly, I don't know.
It'll play out, of course, differently for different people
as well, because this allmatters how it sits on your
natal chart.
You may have other planets inthose houses that are bringing
different energies.
That's why it's so important toreally know your natal chart.
Book with me.

(17:02):
My prices are going up inJanuary, just a little bit.
But get on the books.
I would love to get you a firmfoundation in this um natal
chart stuff that will make allthe rest of this so much easier.
That's the end of my promotion.
But I I don't know how this isgonna play out for people who

(17:25):
don't grab that sextile.
There's still some good stuffwith Jupiter feeding energy to
him, but grab the sextile.
Go out.
Go out, get out, get out yourjammies.
All right.
I want to thank you all so much.
Like always, I know this soundsso cliche like every podcaster,
youtuber, whatever does this, but I honestly love doing this a

(17:50):
lot.
I love your emails and the notesyou leave me mostly in Substack.
That's always the case, right?
I just really love knowing thatyou're out there.
I feel like we have a community, even though a lot of you, of
course, I've never seen and maynever see.
I just am so grateful that youspend time with me.

(18:11):
Please share the podcast.
It really helps me so much.
And if you haven't gone in andrated it and left a comment,
that helps a lot too.
So thank you all, people inother countries.
It blows me away.
Anyway, thank you all so much.
I hope you have a truly magicalweek.

(18:34):
I mean, my goodness, it's time,right?
It's so time.
You gotta get out of yourjammies.
Anywho, until next week.
Go out and seize the energies ofthe stars.
This is truly my wish for youalways, and especially when the
stars are lined up like they arethis week.

(18:56):
That's all I got for now.
I'll talk to you on the otherside.
Bye.
