I feel like I'm saying that allthe time because every week kind
of deserves it, right?
We've got this Mercuryretrograde going on.
And I have to say, you know, Iwork with clients every single
day of the week.

Let me give you an example.
I had a client, a lovely,lovely, you know, long-standing
client of mine contact me thisweek and say, wow, you know,
you've been saying how hard thisMercury, um, yeah, the Mercury
retrograde is.
And for me, it's been fantastic.

It's been invigorating.
I'm motivated.
And I looked at her chart andthat Mercury-Mars thing that
left me with second-degree burnsand all kinds of other awful
kinds of things going on in mylife and other clients with
breakups and quitting jobswithout thinking about it first,
(01:53):
and all of those kinds of crazythings.
It was making a trine, the mostharmonious aspect to her natal
Mars.
So, yes, it was bringing reallybig, really active energy, but
in a lovely way to her Mars.

And I don't care what anybodysays.
I know other Hellenisticastrologers, that's what I am
primarily.
I know they will talk about, youknow, Mars is just always this,
some of them, some of them.
Talk about how Mars is one ofthe malefics and he's gonna
bring all this bad stuff.
I don't buy into that.

He can.
He is big energy, he's awarrior, he can cause war,
right?
But he can also wage noble war.
And so, and he's also energy andmomentum and initiation, you
know.
And this client's story is anexample of that, where Mars to
Mars harmonious aspect withMercury in the mix just brought

a lot of energy and rethinkingin all the best ways.
So, you know, you've really gotto know your needle chart and
you've got to apply theseaspects to your chart and your
planets.
How are they speaking to you?
Because that's how you're gonnafeel the energy.

Now, as you might remember,we've been going through a lot
of grand trine energy.
So I'm sure you're probably atthis point where it's like,

grand trine, yeah, that's kindof old news.
I know it's big, good energy,but how do we get so many?
We get so many because we've gotJupiter and Saturn anchoring two
corners of that triangle andthey move slowly.
So they stay there for a whilein that trying relationship.

On the other side of the chart,where the peak of the triangle
is, we've had all the fastermoving planets, just one after
another ticking through that topcorner.
So we've had Mars, we've had thesun, you know, we've had the
moon for sure ticking through.
(04:30):
So we keep getting that reallypositive, really invigorating
trine energy, and we've got itagain this week.
But it's it's interesting.
I say, but because I think therewill be some challenges, but I
think grand trines are goodaspects, and I think that

ultimately this is going toprove to be good.
And I know you I know how badthat sounds when it's like, no,
no, the good comes eventually.
I know it doesn't, it doesn'tsound good, but I promise it is.
Because what we have at that toppeak of the triangle is Mercury

retrograde now in Scorpio.
Yeah, that Mercury retrograde,right?
It's just, sorry, we can't getout of it until when?
The end of the week.
He actually stations direct, andthen he's just got that
forward-moving shadow to getthrough.
So we are on the tail end of theworst of it, if it's been

hitting you in any of the badkind of ways.
But he is conjunct.
That is sitting in the lap of,holding hands with, giving a
kiss on the cheek to who but thelovely Venus, goddess of love,
all relationships, women,sisters, um, luxury, beauty, all

kinds of art, creativity, allkinds of wonderful, wonderful
things.
Yeah, with the Mercuryretrograde as part of the grand
shrine.
It's a lot, it's complicated.
Let's break it down.
So, first, let's just start withwhat we all care most about,

right?
We've got Venus in Scorpio.
Scorpio is deep, it's theemotional waters.
So think of going, whateveryou've been doing.
It's not, you know, that's Venusor Mercury related this week.
This is not flimsy energy, youknow, this is not the airy stuff
(06:39):
of like Gemini, for example.
You know, this is the deep diveinto our inner truth.
That's what Scorpio brings.
It also forces us to face what'shidden.
So that's important in thissituation, because when we've
got Venus there, we're reallygetting in touch with our
(06:59):
deepest inner feelings, ouremotions, you know, and our
intuitive sense.
Scorpio is very witchy.
So that intuition that livesdeep, deep inside of us.
So, how is this going to affectrelationships?
Just this part of it.
We're gonna have to do that deepdive.
Now remember, that'srelationships with anybody, with

a job, with projects, with art,relationships and yes, love.
So apply it to whatever houseit's in for you and apply it in
general because it'll hit thatway as well.
And this is that kind of what doI really feel?
We're gonna have to get in touchwith that.
And sometimes it's not easy, youknow, because sometimes we've

been stuffing stuff, we've beenstaying in relationships that
honestly it's more habit,convenience.
You know what it is for a lot ofus?
It's that fear of what comesnext.
If I let go of this partner,job, home, um, whatever it is,
art project, this novel I'vebeen working on, right?

Whatever it is.
If I let go of it, what ifthere's nothing waiting on the
other side?
What if nothing's coming toreplace it?
What if this really is the bestI can do?
Stop it.
Stop it right now, all of you.
I can hear my mentor out there,my writing mentor out there just

saying, stop it right now.
You you do have more art in youor whatever it is that we're
talking about.
So stop it right now.
Of course there's more outthere.
Life goes on, the planets keepviraling and circling and you
know, what's the word?
Transiting through our charts.

And and we have more.
We have more.
If this is not whatever this is,right?
If it's not truly hitting you onthat deep, deep Scorpio level,
let it go.
Let it go.
Be free to go on and find thetrue Venus.
Now, remember, I told you thisis conjunct Mercury.

So Mercury is supportingrethinking, rethinking,
replanning, redoing.
It's supporting us in doingthat.
So just imagine.
Now, does it mean that all of usare going to be like, I've got
to get a divorce this week andI'm pressing delete on that
manuscript I've been working on?
No, of course not.

We may go deep and just decidethat we need to tweak in some
way, Mercury retrograde.
And that deep dive we're doingwill allow us to tweak in really
meaningful ways, right?
We may need to have Mercuryimportant conversations with
people, right?
We may need to say, like, honey,I love you, but, or I love you

and, or whatever that brings upfor each of us.
So while I do think there can bechallenges, because sometimes,
let's face it, Scorpio is fixedwater.
And those of you who listen tome a while will know that I
often refer to Scorpio as theice princess.
She's so deep and she's notmoving.

And sometimes we have to chipthrough some ice to get to that
truth underneath.
And so while I think this is areally good transit, even with
the Mercury retrograde involved,I'm not saying it's gonna be
easy for all of us.
It'll be easier for some, justlike that example I gave at the
beginning about my client whohas had a glorious Mercury
(10:40):
retrograde even when Mars wasinvolved, right?
Because it was hitting her chartwell.
So it, you know, is this gonnabe lots of ice chipping and
painful confrontation?
Or is this going to be deepdiving and really like being a
mermaid in the deep ocean andexploring the beauty that's
(11:03):
that's down there?
It depends on your chart.
But ultimately it will pay off.
And why am I so sure?
Let's get back to that grandshrine, shall we?
And bring those planetaryinfluences into this mix.
Okay.
Jupiter.
(11:23):
Jupiter's still exalted inCancer, and Jupiter is the
greater benefic.
And in general, and again, Iwill say like I don't always see
Mars as bad.
I don't always see Jupiter asgood either.
There's some stuff we do notwant to expand, and Jupiter
expands.
Yeah, I could go on about howmany times Jupiter is not so
(11:46):
fun.
But in this trying energy and inJupiter's exalted position, it
is bringing the good stuff.
So it's bringing just in generalblessings to this thing we're
going through this week, right?
It's just be bringing blessings.
It's also expansive.
So even though we're deep divingand sometimes that feels um, it
(12:10):
can almost feel claustrophobic,especially for those of us who
don't really spend a lot of timeunder the water and don't want
to.
That would be me.
It can feel a little bitclaustrophobic to go deep.
It can feel like those dark,murky waters sometimes.
Jupiter expands and gives us thespace so that we can see better
(12:32):
and sort of feel bigger intowhatever we're doing this time.
So we've got that wonderfulJupiter.
Now, here's the shadow side toJupiter, or one of them.
It can make us too exuberant.
I want it all, I'm gonna do itall, I'm gonna love them all,
I'm gonna write it all, I'mgonna paint all the pictures,
(12:52):
you know, that giant, big,expansive over enthusiasm.
Yeah, it can do that, but notwith this grand trine.
Why?
Because the other corner isSaturn.
These are opposite planets, notin this trine, they're making a
trine, but they're oppositeplanets in the sense that
(13:15):
Jupiter expands and makes biggerand says yes.
Saturn is the opposite.
It says, oh, hold the press,hold the phone, hold the
whatever it is, hold the latte.
Saturn says, let's draw someboundaries, let's get realistic.
We've got to fill build a firmfoundation.
(13:36):
We've got to make sure that whatwe're doing makes sense.
So let's let's rein it in alittle bit and and really make
logical plans that we canaccomplish.
So this is gorgeous.
We're going deep, we'rerethinking, we're refeeling,
we're going into that intuitivespace.
(13:58):
And then we're gettingblessings, but we're making them
real.
It's not gonna be fun foreverybody, depending on the
natal chart, but I reallyhonestly believe that this turns
out like a good, good thing thatwe've gone through.
Oh, I forgot the kind ofimportant thing.
This energy is going on allweek, right?

We start the week with it, andto some extent, this is gonna be
true throughout the week.
So sorry I didn't lead withthat.
Okay, but as we move through theweek, Mercury is gonna cross
over onto the other side ofVenus as he continues his
(14:41):
retrograde motion.
By the time we get to the 27th,Mercury's gonna be separating
from Venus enough that thatrethinking, redoing, rewording
energy is gonna actually be outof the mix.
(15:01):
And we're gonna be left withonly Venus in that grand shrine.
And oh my gosh, you guys, thisis even better.
This is even better because nowwe've done the re-stuff.
We've already rethought therelationship, the whatever,
right?
(15:21):
We've already re-planned,redone, re-whatever we were
doing, and now we're just leftwith Venus, love, money, beauty,
relationships, all the art, allthe good stuff in that beautiful
grand trind of let's make itbigger, let's expand it, but
let's make it realistic, let'sset a firm foundation so that we
(15:45):
can move forward.
Wow, do you see why I'm sayingthat even though we may have
that early week, you know,Mercury retrograde stuff going
on with the Venus, we come outwhere it's just Venus at the
peak of that triangle.
And I am really thinking we'regonna have some beautiful,
(16:06):
beautiful stuff.
I want to say some things,really take into account all of
Venus's meanings.
This is love.
So those of you who it's hittingyour chart that way, or who
that's kind of the theme of yourlife right now, of course, this
is love.
But if this is any way speakingto your first house or first
(16:26):
house ruler, this could be likebeauty projects, right?
We may all decide that we'rekind of rethinking what it means
to be beautiful.
Is that getting more natural?
Is that getting more glamorous,glammed up?
I don't know.
What does it mean?
But expect changes.
(16:46):
See what I'm saying?
It can be if it's hitting inyour fourth house or your IC
angle, it could be like homebeautification projects.
So don't limit how you thinkabout Venus and what she brings,
because we want to grab thisgrand shrine energy in any way
(17:08):
that's meaningful to us.
We want to do it.
It's it's beautiful, it's big,it's gorgeous, I love it.
And then, depending on where youare, Mercury stations direct on
either the 29th or the 30th.
So the end of the week.
(17:29):
Now, when he stations direct,he's going very slowly.
When we look at him in the sky,he's standing still.
That's how it appears to us.
And the whole retrograde is anoptical illusion anyway.
No, he's not moving backwardsfor real.
But when he stations direct, itwill appear that he is standing
still.
So he's gonna like put hyperenergy into Scorpio, right?
(17:55):
And he's still close to Venus,though not close enough anymore
that he's doing a whole lotthere.
But he's kind of making usreally hyper-focus on whatever
issues have been coming upduring his retrograde.
So he's direct, but he'sstationed, and that is always a
(18:16):
period of hyper focus.
It's not going to be until nextweek that we start feeling the
forward momentum.
Okay.
Next week he's gonna still be inshadow.
So we're gonna be going overthat old stuff, the stuff that
we've already gone over,retrograded back over.
(18:40):
Now we're gonna be coming overit for the third time, but with
with all the revisions in place,so that we actually feel like,
yeah, I've been here before, butI'm finally making positive
progress.
How great is that?
And this Venus work that we'redoing this week, yeah, that's
(19:00):
connected.
That's setting the stage becauseVenus is the last planet that
Mercury's really in thatconjunction with, the way he was
with Mars before, he's ending upwith Venus.
So all of those themes thatwe've been doing that deep dive,
(19:21):
rethinking thing on, yeah,that's gonna be what we're
bringing forward now.
And we're gonna start making theprogress, but the real progress,
now that we're in our rightthinking, right feeling, the
revisions are kind of in place.
And yeah, it's it's justbeautiful.
It's really beautiful.

And I think we're gonna befeeling, yeah, like we're
finally getting somewhere.
And I think this one's big.
I know we do this every Mercuryretrograde, and you know, that
old cliche we see all the memesaround like, isn't Mercury
always retrograde?
Um, no, but a lot.
It's not like such an uncommonkind of experience, right?

In our lives, it happens oftenenough, three or four times a
year.
But this one, I don't know, thisone feels very, very big to me
because it's had these multiple,there have been all these grand
shrines going on during theenergy.
We've had that conjunction withMars, we've had the conjunction
with Venus, and let's not forgetthat new moon energy that's been
(20:30):
involved with this.
So as we're going through themoon cycle that lasts most
poignantly, no, that's not theright word, most acutely, I
don't know what to say, for themonth, but really take six
months to play out.
That new moon stuff is all inthis too.
So I feel like this is big.

I feel like these are going tobe some profound life changes.
And I do really believe that wecome out better for this Mercury
retrograde in a deep, meaningfulway that they don't all leave us
with, right?
Like they don't all have thesame impact.
Sometimes the car just breaksdown and lots of wonky emails go

out.
This one's not that.
I really think this one is gonnaleave us with bigger, deeper,
more meaningful, transformative,I don't know, experiences,
things, whatever you want tocall them.
So I hope that that ismeaningful.

and, or whatever that brings upfor each of us.
So while I do think there can bechallenges, because sometimes,
let's face it, Scorpio is fixedwater.
And those of you who listen tome a while will know that I
often refer to Scorpio as theice princess.
She's so deep and she's notmoving.
(10:15):
And sometimes we have to chipthrough some ice to get to that
truth underneath.
And so while I think this is areally good transit, even with
the Mercury retrograde involved,I'm not saying it's gonna be
easy for all of us.
It'll be easier for some, justlike that example I gave at the
beginning about my client whohas had a glorious Mercury
(10:40):
retrograde even when Mars wasinvolved, right?
Because it was hitting her chartwell.
So it, you know, is this gonnabe lots of ice chipping and
painful confrontation?
Or is this going to be deepdiving and really like being a
mermaid in the deep ocean andexploring the beauty that's
(11:03):
that's down there?
It depends on your chart.
But ultimately it will pay off.
And why am I so sure?
Let's get back to that grandshrine, shall we?
And bring those planetaryinfluences into this mix.
Okay.
Jupiter.
(11:23):
Jupiter's still exalted inCancer, and Jupiter is the
greater benefic.
And in general, and again, Iwill say like I don't always see
Mars as bad.
I don't always see Jupiter asgood either.
There's some stuff we do notwant to expand, and Jupiter
expands.
Yeah, I could go on about howmany times Jupiter is not so
(11:46):
fun.
But in this trying energy and inJupiter's exalted position, it
is bringing the good stuff.
So it's bringing just in generalblessings to this thing we're
going through this week, right?
It's just be bringing blessings.
It's also expansive.
So even though we're deep divingand sometimes that feels um, it
(12:10):
can almost feel claustrophobic,especially for those of us who
don't really spend a lot of timeunder the water and don't want
to.
That would be me.
It can feel a little bitclaustrophobic to go deep.
It can feel like those dark,murky waters sometimes.
Jupiter expands and gives us thespace so that we can see better
(12:32):
and sort of feel bigger intowhatever we're doing this time.
So we've got that wonderfulJupiter.
Now, here's the shadow side toJupiter, or one of them.
It can make us too exuberant.
I want it all, I'm gonna do itall, I'm gonna love them all,
I'm gonna write it all, I'mgonna paint all the pictures,
(12:52):
you know, that giant, big,expansive over enthusiasm.
Yeah, it can do that, but notwith this grand trine.
Why?
Because the other corner isSaturn.
These are opposite planets, notin this trine, they're making a
trine, but they're oppositeplanets in the sense that
(13:15):
Jupiter expands and makes biggerand says yes.
Saturn is the opposite.
It says, oh, hold the press,hold the phone, hold the
whatever it is, hold the latte.
Saturn says, let's draw someboundaries, let's get realistic.
We've got to fill build a firmfoundation.
(13:36):
We've got to make sure that whatwe're doing makes sense.
So let's let's rein it in alittle bit and and really make
logical plans that we canaccomplish.
So this is gorgeous.
We're going deep, we'rerethinking, we're refeeling,
we're going into that intuitivespace.
(13:58):
And then we're gettingblessings, but we're making them
real.
It's not gonna be fun foreverybody, depending on the
natal chart, but I reallyhonestly believe that this turns
out like a good, good thing thatwe've gone through.
Oh, I forgot the kind ofimportant thing.
This energy is going on allweek, right?
(14:19):
We start the week with it, andto some extent, this is gonna be
true throughout the week.
So sorry I didn't lead withthat.
Okay, but as we move through theweek, Mercury is gonna cross
over onto the other side ofVenus as he continues his
(14:41):
retrograde motion.
By the time we get to the 27th,Mercury's gonna be separating
from Venus enough that thatrethinking, redoing, rewording
energy is gonna actually be outof the mix.
(15:01):
And we're gonna be left withonly Venus in that grand shrine.
And oh my gosh, you guys, thisis even better.
This is even better because nowwe've done the re-stuff.
We've already rethought therelationship, the whatever,
right?
(15:21):
We've already re-planned,redone, re-whatever we were
doing, and now we're just leftwith Venus, love, money, beauty,
relationships, all the art, allthe good stuff in that beautiful
grand trind of let's make itbigger, let's expand it, but
let's make it realistic, let'sset a firm foundation so that we
(15:45):
can move forward.
Wow, do you see why I'm sayingthat even though we may have
that early week, you know,Mercury retrograde stuff going
on with the Venus, we come outwhere it's just Venus at the
peak of that triangle.
And I am really thinking we'regonna have some beautiful,
(16:06):
beautiful stuff.
I want to say some things,really take into account all of
Venus's meanings.
This is love.
So those of you who it's hittingyour chart that way, or who
that's kind of the theme of yourlife right now, of course, this
is love.
But if this is any way speakingto your first house or first
(16:26):
house ruler, this could be likebeauty projects, right?
We may all decide that we'rekind of rethinking what it means
to be beautiful.
Is that getting more natural?
Is that getting more glamorous,glammed up?
I don't know.
What does it mean?
But expect changes.
(16:46):
See what I'm saying?
It can be if it's hitting inyour fourth house or your IC
angle, it could be like homebeautification projects.
So don't limit how you thinkabout Venus and what she brings,
because we want to grab thisgrand shrine energy in any way
(17:08):
that's meaningful to us.
We want to do it.
It's it's beautiful, it's big,it's gorgeous, I love it.
And then, depending on where youare, Mercury stations direct on
either the 29th or the 30th.
So the end of the week.
(17:29):
Now, when he stations direct,he's going very slowly.
When we look at him in the sky,he's standing still.
That's how it appears to us.
And the whole retrograde is anoptical illusion anyway.
No, he's not moving backwardsfor real.
But when he stations direct, itwill appear that he is standing
still.
So he's gonna like put hyperenergy into Scorpio, right?
(17:55):
And he's still close to Venus,though not close enough anymore
that he's doing a whole lotthere.
But he's kind of making usreally hyper-focus on whatever
issues have been coming upduring his retrograde.
So he's direct, but he'sstationed, and that is always a
(18:16):
period of hyper focus.
It's not going to be until nextweek that we start feeling the
forward momentum.
Okay.
Next week he's gonna still be inshadow.
So we're gonna be going overthat old stuff, the stuff that
we've already gone over,retrograded back over.
(18:40):
Now we're gonna be coming overit for the third time, but with
with all the revisions in place,so that we actually feel like,
yeah, I've been here before, butI'm finally making positive
progress.
How great is that?
And this Venus work that we'redoing this week, yeah, that's
(19:00):
connected.
That's setting the stage becauseVenus is the last planet that
Mercury's really in thatconjunction with, the way he was
with Mars before, he's ending upwith Venus.
So all of those themes thatwe've been doing that deep dive,
(19:21):
rethinking thing on, yeah,that's gonna be what we're
bringing forward now.
And we're gonna start making theprogress, but the real progress,
now that we're in our rightthinking, right feeling, the
revisions are kind of in place.
And yeah, it's it's justbeautiful.
It's really beautiful.
(19:41):
And I think we're gonna befeeling, yeah, like we're
finally getting somewhere.
And I think this one's big.
I know we do this every Mercuryretrograde, and you know, that
old cliche we see all the memesaround like, isn't Mercury
always retrograde?
Um, no, but a lot.
It's not like such an uncommonkind of experience, right?
(20:04):
In our lives, it happens oftenenough, three or four times a
year.
But this one, I don't know, thisone feels very, very big to me
because it's had these multiple,there have been all these grand
shrines going on during theenergy.
We've had that conjunction withMars, we've had the conjunction
with Venus, and let's not forgetthat new moon energy that's been
(20:30):
involved with this.
So as we're going through themoon cycle that lasts most
poignantly, no, that's not theright word, most acutely, I
don't know what to say, for themonth, but really take six
months to play out.
That new moon stuff is all inthis too.
So I feel like this is big.
(20:52):
I feel like these are going tobe some profound life changes.
And I do really believe that wecome out better for this Mercury
retrograde in a deep, meaningfulway that they don't all leave us
with, right?
Like they don't all have thesame impact.
Sometimes the car just breaksdown and lots of wonky emails go
(21:18):
out.
This one's not that.
I really think this one is gonnaleave us with bigger, deeper,
more meaningful, transformative,I don't know, experiences,
things, whatever you want tocall them.
So I hope that that ismeaningful.
