Why Astrology Is (not) Wrong

Hi everyone, welcome to thevery first and long awaited,

things and I'm going to getright into this, because I've
been promising this bonusepisode forever.
And what I'm going to talk aboutvery, very briefly is why
sometimes it seems likeastrology is wrong.
I cannot tell you how often Ihear this.
Especially.

(00:47):
I have clients who come to mefor one-on-one consultations who
, like a family member, boughtthem the consultation for their
solar return, aka birthday oryou know something like that,
and they're like look, I'm herebecause you know, I was given
this as a present, but I don'treally believe.

(01:08):
And when I probe that, itgenerally turns out that they
don't believe because they don'tfeel that the astrology is
accurate.
You know, they'll listen to apodcast like mine, or they'll go
on one of the apps or watch aYouTube video and it just

(01:28):
doesn't hit.
It just doesn't hit.
And I get that.
I totally get that.
And I'm going to talk to youabout why.
It's not the astrology that'swrong, it's how we're applying
it.
So one little caveatastrologers can be wrong.
You know, I think I'm reallygood, most of my clients think

(01:50):
I'm really good, but you know,nobody's perfect and there are
times where I just interpret athing wrong or I miss how
important a certain angle is inyour chart or an aspect or
something like that.
It doesn't happen often, but itcan happen.
So what I'm saying let me bereally clear is that astrology

(02:14):
is always right.
Our interpretations may not beright, but bigger than that is,
we're not using it correctly.
So let me make this clear.
Let me get to the point.
I tell you guys, every singleweek, look at your natal chart.
Your natal chart is a snapshotof the sky at the time of your

(02:37):
birth.
It is the blueprint of yourlife.
So when I'm talking about thetransiting planets, that energy
is available to all of us insome way, to some degree.
Okay, but the reason I telleverybody to look at their natal
chart is because what reallymatters is what house in your

(03:00):
natal chart is being affected bythe transiting planets and also
what planets of yours, whichplanets in your natal chart, are
being hit by that energy, right?
So it's very complex to applythe transiting planetary

(03:23):
energies to our own lives.
This is one of the reasons foranybody who can possibly afford
it, I really recommend, if youdon't see an astrologer for
anything else, get oneprofessional reading done of
your natal chart so that youunderstand it in depth.

(03:44):
My natal readings are 90 minuteslong.
I give you so much informationthat your head is spinning.
Sometimes we video them so youget to go back and play it back.
I want everyone to reallyunderstand their natal chart so
that then they can, you know,listen to a podcast and get a

deeper understanding of howthat's going to apply to them.
Let me give you an example.
On June 14th, jupiter thegreater benefic, the planet of
blessings and expansion andwisdom and luck and spirituality
all great stuff right, it wentinto cancer.
It's sign of exaltation.

(04:26):
That is the most powerfulposition Jupiter can be at.
And my podcast, of course, wasabout like wow, this is a
year-long transit, we're goingto get all these blessings.
It's going to be reallypowerful when it first moves in.
It's amazing.
That's what I told y'all.
Yep, that's what I told you.

(04:48):
I had the worst week.
Oh my gosh, it was bad.
I'm not going to even go intoall the details, because who
cares right?
Let me just tell you when I sayit was a bad week, I don't mean
it's like my hair didn't lookgood, all right, I lost my
favorite lipstick, Though thosethings happen.
I'm talking a bad week and thiswas during the week of this

(05:13):
greater benefic, the biggestblessings possible, and I had
the worst week my chart had.
Transiting Mars squaring mynatal Mars.
A square is a difficult, likethe most difficult angle Mars,

(05:34):
the lesser malefic bad guySquaring bad angle my Mars bad
guy, right.
So when you get these squaresMars on Mars you know how he
says either the noble warrior orthe psycho killer.
Yeah, I wasn't getting thenoble warrior, okay, what else
was going on?
Saturn was going on.

(05:55):
That's the greater malefic, thegreater bad guy.
Saturn was squaring my Saturn.
Do I need to say more?
I had both bad guys transiting.

(06:16):
Looking back on that week now,it was horrible, okay, but I can
see that some blessings happenand fortunately, jupiter stays
in a sign for a year, so all isnot lost.
I still have time to reap therewards of Jupiter, now that

(06:38):
Mars has moved on and Saturn'sgoing to retrograde back into
Pisces for a little bit, and getout of that square with my
Saturn.
He's going to move back in,though, and that's a two and a
half year square to my Saturn.
Saturn to Saturn oh my goodness, anywho.
So looking back on it after Igot out of that nightmare week,

(07:00):
I mean I could see that therewere blessings, there were good
things that happened.
It's just that the bad thingswere really loud.
Then I was talking to a friendof mine and she also had a
dreadful week.
That week like losing jobs kindof weeks.
This is the kind of stuff we'retalking about, right, like,

(07:21):
really objectively, it was not agreat fun time.
We looked at her chart and Marswas going through her career
house.
Mars separates things, endsthings, destroys things.
Yeah, that pretty much wrappedit up.
So how did she experience thatweek?

(07:42):
Not super good, right, therewas a job she liked that she
didn't expect to lose, that shelost, and that kind of
overshadowed anything else thatwas going on, all right.
So it's not enough when we'retalking about these transits.
Remember that any astrologerlike I'm doing a weekly podcast

(08:04):
at this point.
I hope to be doing more verysoon, but right now it's a
weekly podcast.
I'm pulling out what I think issome of the biggest, loudest
energy of the week that I canshare with everybody.
And I tell you over and overagain look at your natal chart.
Where is this impacting yournatal chart?
Right, and so you're nevergetting in a general kind of

(08:31):
reading.
You're never getting the like,oh but this is hitting your
Pluto or this is making a squareto your Venus, or something
like that, right, that's whyyou've got to understand your
natal chart really, really wellso that the information you're
being given about the transitingplanets can be applied to your

(08:53):
specific chart.
The bigger energy is availableto us.
I really want to stress that,like I said, looking back at my
nightmare week, there were somegood things there were
absolutely, but those were notwhat I was feeling and what I
was focused on that week.
So I hope that's helpful.

(09:14):
I hope that helps you kind ofmake sense a little bit about
why sometimes it feels like, youknow, astrology is kind of a
hit or miss kind of thing.
It's not.
It really isn't.
I have read I don't know howmany charts at this time
hundreds, thousands, I don'teven know.
I don't know how many chartsI've looked at and I will tell

(09:37):
you it is profound, it is deep,it is real.
Can I make an error?
Can any astrologer you knowmake a mistake, interpret
something wrong?
For sure, in general we don't.
We get pretty on it and theastrology is not the problem.
We might be when we'relistening to general readings.

(09:59):
That can be a problem, but theastrology is never the problem.
I actually found out oh, youwant to talk about not a great
moment.
I actually found out that areally really good friend of
mine had stopped listening tothe podcast and I mean it's not
like my friends are required tolisten, but I was like, wow, you

(10:21):
know, I thought you would beinterested, I thought you would
want to listen, and this friendsaid, well, I did, but last week
what you said didn't happen forme and it made me really sad.
And so, you know, I mean,obviously that is certainly not
my goal ever, ever, ever.

(10:43):
But it was because that frienddidn't yet know how to work with
the more general energy andapply it to their own chart.
Okay, the other thing that Iwant to say that can sometimes
go wrong is really, really,really understand.

(11:05):
Learn about the idea of rulingplanets.
Okay, that's also reallyhelpful in getting accurate
understanding.
So let's say Venus is involvedand maybe Venus is in your, you
know, seventh house ofrelationship and your seventh
house is maybe Scorpio, whichVenus doesn't rule right.

(11:27):
So, yes, venus is going to haveimpact on that house she's
transiting through.
But Venus also is going to havesome impact on the houses she
rules.
So look and see where herhouses are Where's Libra,
where's Taurus?
Okay, sometimes you'll feel theenergy there.

(11:49):
Also, it's usually not primary.
We usually primarily feel it inthe sign and house that the
transiting planet is goingthrough, but it can be that
there are times when you feel itadditionally in the houses
ruled by that planet.
Okay, so sometimes being awareof that can also help you make

(12:12):
sense of the reading.
And now this has gone way toolong.
I just wanted to jump in andhopefully help you kind of start
to make better sense of theinformation that I give on the
podcast and that anybody who'sdoing general readings will be
giving All right.
