Some of them informed us with inside information. Some of them even shocked us. But each had a voice and personality that was distinctly Pittsburgh.

After years of disappointment in the 1980’s, new GM Tom Donahoe quickly built the Steelers into a Super Bowl contender in the 1990’s via a handful of shrewd drafts, trades, and free agent signings.
