Strategies you can use to help you strengthen and flex your PERSUASION muscle and move you towards success!

Let’s keep it easy to remember: Acknowledge, Amplify, Affect.

1. Acknowledge
   Start by recognizing their reality.
   → “I know you’ve got a lot on your plate right now…”
   This builds trust and shows you’re not simply focused on your outcome.
   
   
2. Amplify
   Paint a picture of what’s possible for them.
   → “Imagine how much smoother things could run if…”
   This stirs motivation by tying your ask to something meaningful or rewarding for them—either internally (joy, growth, ease) or externally (recognition, reward).
   
   
3. Affect
   People move when they feel.
   → Share a quick story, use a passionate tone, or connect the dots emotionally.
   → “When we pulled this off last time, you were lit up—let’s recreate that.”
