It’s major time again with the best women in the world taking on the daunting Erin Hills layout in Wisconsin for the most prestigious title in the game, the US Women’s Open. Meanwhile, the cream of the PGA TOUR crop – minus Rory McIlroy – celebrate the great Jack Nicklaus at the Memorial while in Austria the DP World Tour hosts the Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand.

Normal programming resumes after Scottie Scheffler’s runaway victory at the PGA. The World No.1 isn’t resting, though, taking his place in the field at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas while the DP World Tour hosts the Soudal Open in Belgium. The LPGA is offshore in Mexico for the MEXICO Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba and the Asian Tour is in Korea for the Kolon Korea Open.

There’s only one show in town this week and it is the second men’s major for the year, the PGA Championship, to be played at the Quail Hollow Golf Club in North Carolina. A regular stop on the PGA TOUR, the course will be familiar to many in the field including Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who has won here four times in his career.

Just one more week till the second men’s major for the year and players are warming up at the Truist Championship in Pennsylvania, the Turkish Airlines Open in Antalya and the International Series Japan in Chiba prefecture.
