There’s barely time to draw breath between majors this week when the best of the LPGA gather in Texas for the KPMG Women’s PGA Championship at Fields Ranch East at PGA Frisco and the best over 50s are at Firestone Country Club for the Kaulig Companies Championship. Meanwhile, in Connecticut, the PGA TOUR plays host to a star studded field at the Travelers Championship, the final signature event of the season.

The majors are coming thick and fast and this week it’s the US Open at Oakmont. The big guns of men’s world golf are assembled in Pennsylvania ready to do battle on one of the world’s truly great courses with storylines aplenty waiting to unfold. Although Oakmont will grab the bulk of the attention, the LPGA heads to Michigan for one of the best events in the schedule, the Meijer LPGA Classic for Simply Give.

A week off from major talk as the travelling global circus that is golf gets back into full swing. LIV Golf are in the US for LIV Golf Virginia presented by Maaden, the LPGA travel to New Jersey for the Shoprite LPGA Classic presented by ACER, DP World Tour is in the Netherlands for the KLM Open and the PGA TOUR crosses the border to the north for the RBC Canadian Open.

It’s major time again with the best women in the world taking on the daunting Erin Hills layout in Wisconsin for the most prestigious title in the game, the US Women’s Open. Meanwhile, the cream of the PGA TOUR crop – minus Rory McIlroy – celebrate the great Jack Nicklaus at the Memorial while in Austria the DP World Tour hosts the Austrian Alpine Open presented by SalzburgerLand.

Normal programming resumes after Scottie Scheffler’s runaway victory at the PGA. The World No.1 isn’t resting, though, taking his place in the field at the Charles Schwab Challenge in Texas while the DP World Tour hosts the Soudal Open in Belgium. The LPGA is offshore in Mexico for the MEXICO Riviera Maya Open at Mayakoba and the Asian Tour is in Korea for the Kolon Korea Open.

There’s only one show in town this week and it is the second men’s major for the year, the PGA Championship, to be played at the Quail Hollow Golf Club in North Carolina. A regular stop on the PGA TOUR, the course will be familiar to many in the field including Masters champion Rory McIlroy, who has won here four times in his career.

Just one more week till the second men’s major for the year and players are warming up at the Truist Championship in Pennsylvania, the Turkish Airlines Open in Antalya and the International Series Japan in Chiba prefecture. Meanwhile, the LPGA head to New Jersey and the Liberty National course for the Mizuho Americas Open.

All eyes are firmly on the first men’s major of the year at Augusta next week, but there is tournament golf to be played first. Sad news from home as the approach of Cyclone Alfred sees the Australian WPGA Championship on the Gold Coast cancelled for safety reasons.
