Hello everybody. Welcome to weektwo of Playing Games with Strangers.
I'm your DMM this evening. My name is John Har. You, uh,
I'll be leading you through the, uh,pits of torture and dismemberment.
That is Dungeons and Dragons fifthedition. Uh, with us tonight,
as we did last week,
we have J Js Earls world famous authors.

(00:22):
Stop saying, world famous.
Dude. You've been published. It's beensold in countries other than here.
That's world famous.
. That's right. Okay.
That's the world.
That that cackle you just heardwas, uh, was, uh, Steve McDonald.
World famous bus driver.
Mm-hmm. and Podcaster.Mm-hmm. . Yeah. For,
for over 10 years. We justdiscussed that. Strangers.

(00:43):
And aliens.com.
Yeah.
He, he podcasts while he drives the bus.
. I, I podcast.Well, I podcast very well.
Uh, vocal talents of, uh,Kate. I forgot your last name.
All of a sudden, I'm so sorry.
. It's rinky.
Approval.
Yeah, exactly. Just put a coupleletters in there and you're,

(01:03):
you're basically done.
Uh, we, we, we'll justrefer to her as Squid.
Very wonderful. Only an Illinoisfamous author, but, you know,
I'm working my way up.
But world famous voice actor,
because we all know that Supersonic podcomics has been all over the world at
this point.
Boom.
And then, uh, also world famousvoice actor, Josiah Crandall.

(01:26):
That's right. That's me.
The one who's probably gonnaget us sued by Disney, because.
. Yes, exactly.
Lawsuits coming.
So, do we have any announcements tomake before we, uh, light this candle?
I'm pregnant.
I sprained my finger this week.
Alright, then . Well, with then, without any, uh,

(01:51):
further ado,
we will go into our next editionof playing games with Strangers.

(02:57):
All right. Well, uh, torecap, last week, uh,
we started out in the town of Water.
Deep Orba TowerFall had startedout by arriving in water
deep to investigate a risingdarkness that his, uh, his,
uh, temple had since was rising,

(03:18):
led him to an inn at whichhe found a fighting pit.
And he encountered a, Ican never pronounce it.
A human looking individual.
A human looking individual named Callum,
who had an aversion to most clericsand paladins that he encountered.
Also staying at this inn was Gareth,

(03:39):
who is also a Paladin.
And they were all watching as abugbear named Poo proceeded to beat the
life out of the reigning champion,
ignoring warnings from the localorganized crime family to take
a dive who was then apprehendedby said family After
some conversation,

(04:00):
they were instructed to acquire whatwas lost in the bet on this fight.
Although they have no ideawhat this particular item is,
led them to an encounter withsome cultus outside of a house.
And that is where we left off.
What time, what time ofnight is it right now?
I would say it is probablyabout nine 30 in the evening.

(04:22):
And, uh, the people wekilled are the only,
are the only like sentient beingsor anything we see outside. Right.
Uh, make a perception check.
I've old to 13 on that.
11. All.
Right. You guys look around to, uh,
see if there was anybody else thatwas outside of the building. Uh,
and you don't see any as, uh,

(04:44):
or I'll just put it sentient beings,
although you can hear someshouts of what sounds like,
uh,
people running to go get help becausethere was a massive fight in the middle of
the street.
Well, I'm still trying to get thisjacket on me that I took out, or the,
the hood off of one of these guys.

(05:06):
'Cause you are doing the fat bugbear and a little coat. That's.
Right.
Yeah. . Are we all gonna do that?
Try to dress up as them in thesebloody coat coats. .
That is currently my plan.
, uh,
I'll move up behind the buildings justto see if there is a back door to this
place instead of, uh, through the front.

(05:27):
Alright. Um, as you approach therear side of the building, uh,
you see that there isin fact not a back door.
Unfortunate.
No windows or anything?Nothing. Oh, there's.
Windows.
I walk over to Gareth.
What do you think? Doyou think I can pass?

(05:48):
And I, uh, I turn around slowlyso he can admire my disguise?
Uh, I'd like you to, so if you're perform, perform you're performance, to use.
This as a.
Performance here, go ahead. Go aheadand roll a performance check for me,
please.
That would be a 14.
Uh, Gareth, you, as he as this bugbear spins around in front of you, uh,

(06:09):
from the front side, it does looklike the rope fits in very well,
but as he turns, you see that theback is completely split in half,
and he's essentially wearing two sidesof a robe on one on each side of his
body.
Oh, well, do you like it?
? Just like, whatare we gonna fake? Like,
he captured all three of us.

(06:31):
Uh, okay. Who's the brains of this outfit?
I'm gonna hop the fence to theback of this building. ,
while these guys standon the street, she's.
She's just gonna do whatever. Yeah, he.
Uh, okay. Gareth, go ahead andmake a acrobatics check please,
as you hop this fence.
Um, my name's Callum. Sorry.Like Eric can too. If you'd like,

(06:55):
if you wanna hop a fence.
I would like you to make an acrobaticscheck as you hop this fence to the
backyard. We're starting out.
Strong.
Tonight. I'd sure like to makeit. Oh, that's quite good.
Compared to my last one. That'llbe a 19 to get over this fence.
Or bug. As you, as you look down the,uh, as you look down the side alley of,

(07:18):
between the two houseshere, you watch as, uh,
Callum does a flip over the fencewith some unnecessary flare.
Uh, I guess, yeah. I'll,I'll, I'll follow after.
All right.
I just, uh,
I don't know if I'm gonna be able toget over the fence either.
How, how tall is this fence that I'vejust so miraculously flipped over?

(07:42):
I'm about three feet.
. Oh, six.Wonderful. , right?
That's not a fence. All right. So, uh.
Uh, p and Gareth, are you guysgoing to be joining them or.
I don't know what's going on. I take theother guy's coat and I'm, I go, yeah.
Gareth, I remember you should putthis one on. It looks about your size.

(08:07):
Why don't we just followthem? Follow who? Oh,
the other two. Yes. I, I see them now.
Well, I suppose that that would work.
And so I just, uh,
meander over after them andI just step over that fence.

(08:29):
Like, no, nobody's business.
No. He made us roll. You have to roll. I got, I got a 13, by the way.
13. You aptly climb overthe three foot fence.
Good.
It's not as, not as beautifulas what I accomplished. No.
Not with a non, non-natural 20. Uh.
Oh. Uh.

(08:49):
Yeah.
He, you just, you, you watch,
you watch poo just kind of jump up in theair and land on the other side without
even touching the fence.
Uh,
I'm going to take a look in the windowsto see if I can see people moving about
inside.
Um, okay. Go ahead andmake a perception check.

(09:09):
I rolled this.
By the way, actually. Aninvestigation, not a perception.
'cause you are investigating.
Well, I rolled a natural 19, so if I wasperceiving it would be very good. But,
uh, for investigation, that's just a 19.
Alright. Um, as you lookin through this window,
you see a, uh, kitchen and, uh,you don't see anybody in there,

(09:31):
just a standard kitchen.
Do these windows appear to open orare they just solid panes? They're.
Just solid panes.
What do you see in there? Isee a kitchen. Ooh, a kitchen.
I'm going to cast silence on myselfand then I'm going to break the window.
All right. Go ahead androll on attack roll please.

(09:55):
Oh boy. I am very good at attacking.
That would be a natural 20 .
Wow.
I am so good at attackingwindows. . You've got.
All the glass. That stove is dead.
That inanimate object feltyour wrath, I promise you.
Go ahead and roll damage foryour na 20 and double it, please.

(10:15):
I sure will. It'll benine damage to the window.
Go. So, yeah, you watch as, uh,
Callum smacks this window and where youexpect to hear the familiar sound of
shattering glass. Uh, no sound at all,
but that glass shatterslike safety glass and uh,

(10:38):
yeah, it's completely obliterated. There's no glass around the hole. Uh,
you have a broken window.
I will look to the others and pointinside. You want us to go in there?
I don't hear you speak .
I don't take notice thatyou don't hear me speak.
Oh, how big, how big is your radius? How big is the radius of your spell?

(11:00):
It is a 20 foot radius.
Oh. Yeah. So poo, when you, whenyou go to say, I don't think you,
or when you go to say whatever you weregoing to say mm-hmm. , uh,
your mouth moves, but there's nosound coming out of it at all.
I, uh,
then proceed to go up to the windowand try to measure my body against

(11:21):
to see if they can. We're.
We're gonna have, we'regonna have a poo and.
We're gonna push poo into the, right.
Now we have, we have the classicpoo stuck in the rabbit's hole.
I believe. Right. So I'm, I'm trying tosee if I can get through. Uh, I, I'm,
I'm not sticking myself in. I'm justtrying to see if think I can fit in.
What is the size of thisal investigation? I guess.

(11:42):
I was about say, make aninvestigation check ions.
Perception, probably. Right?Uh, it's a yes, please. So,
four I rolled very poorly.
You to, you totally couldfit through there easily.
I, I try to fit through there, .
All right. Um, , goahead and make a strength check.

(12:02):
Okay. I I I am pretty good at those.
Or a strength save rather. Um.
That'd be an 18.
18.
You all watch as the bugbear triesto push himself through this window.
Um, it's a lot like watching a,it's, it's a lot like watching a St.
Bernard try to push its waythrough a cat door . Um,

(12:24):
but with a lot of strugglingand cracking the drywall,
uh, the bug bear does manage to breakhis way through and widen the window for
everybody else.
And how much noise did he make?
None. None. 'cause you're stillin the, uh, face of silence.
So I, uh, I get in and I just, uh,
kind of dust off my hands andI think to myself, wonderful.

(12:49):
Sorry.
I, I, I can't, anytime someonesays, I think to myself,
that's the next thing that comes to mind.Go ahead. I'm sorry I stepped on you.
No, no, no. You, you. That was muchbetter than what I was going to say.
.
I will step through after as well.
Yeah, I'm, I'm gonna talk,I'm gonna talk to Gareth.
Good luck with, oh.
I can't, yeah. Well, ,yeah. I'm gonna draw on the ground.

(13:12):
I'm gonna
show that like point,
like people might becoming and then one of us,
I was trying to motion toboth of us. Like, which like,
should one of us like stay and watch or,
or while the other one goes in and I'mkinda like pointing all this stuff out.

(13:32):
Okay. But I mean, that.
That sounds like a prettycomplicated, right.
Right. That's, that's why. So.
I, I would like you to roll aperformance check at disadvantage.
Uh, well, okay. It would be thenine then. Uh, which would be 11.
My other one was 18.
Okay. And Gareth,

(13:52):
I'd like you to make aperception check please.
Perception, I rolled in 11.
Yeah. You're,
you're able to get the general gist ofwhat Orba is trying to tell you that
maybe someone should stayoutside and keep watch.
Um, I, I, I point back like sort ofback and forth between me and you and,
and sort of give a, a questionmark as if like, which one?
Uh, I'll, I'll, I'll, I'll hit mychest like, like me, like I'll stay.

(14:18):
Okay. And then I'll kind of motion forwith, with my sword for him to go in.
All right. I put my hand on hisshoulder and sort of like a, you know,
solidarity type of thing. And,uh, and then head in after them.
Uh, once they're both inside
and making sure that no one elseis coming through the window.
I'll look at both of them and hold myfinger up to my mouth and I will drop

(14:39):
silence.
As you all come inside, you come into a ki a, uh,
kitchen that doesn't look like it'sbeen used anytime recently. Uh,
it looks like a standard kitchen withstandard wears, but there's no food.
The fireplace is cold.
No real usage or sign of lifein the, in the room at all.

(15:01):
So does it look dusty?
Generally speaking, yeah. I mean, nothingovert. It's not like it's caked on.
Right.
And it doesn't look like any of thesedoors have been opened or disturbed.
The dust.
Uh, not really.
Interesting. I'll go to listenat the door to the East.
Intentionally listening.

(15:21):
You don't hear anything from the otherroom that you don't hear coming from
anywhere else in the house. But overall, you, you don't,
your passive perception justbeing in here. You, you,
you haven't really heard any sounds ofanybody scuffling around or any kind of
talking at all since youcame in through the window.
Alright. And is the door locked? No.
I'm just going to attemptto quietly open it.

(15:42):
Okay. Make a stealth check, please.
Oh, that's a natural 20,which brings it up to 26.
Uh, he wrote you open it. So good.
. Oh, . Oh,I'm so good at opening the,
no one's ever opened that door. .
No one has ever opened that door asgood as you just opened the door.
No, I'm not good at much guys,

(16:03):
but I can open a door.
I'm gonna put that inyour gravestone. You.
Can open a door and breaka window like no one.
Oh man, . I've got very few skills,
but I've displayed all of themtonight. . There you.
Go. She's done.
What do I see on the other sideof this perfectly open door?
Uh, you look through thereand you see a bedroom

(16:26):
that has a bed in it thatlooks like it hasn't,
hasn't been made or usedfor a very long time.
Anything else of note inthe room aside from the bed?
Uh, there's a door on the otherside of the room and a dresser.
I'll check the dresser.
Okay. Make an investigation check.
Oh, I sure will. Holy, I feel like Ineed a webcam on my dice right now.

(16:50):
'cause it just rolledanother 20 rolling.
More 20 in a row. And I might haveto make you start rolling digital.
No kidding. . While.
She, while she does that,I'm just gonna go over, like,
near the corner so I can sort of keepan eye on this room and her in that room
at the same time.
As you open one of thedrawers on the dresser, uh,
and you start searching around, youfeel something that feels kind of, uh,

(17:12):
like a ring or a trigger that's kind of
vertical inside the dresser. Not within your line of sight,
but as you're feeling around there, you kind of feel that in there.
So I feel, I feel a trigger.
Yeah.
You know how like when you try to popthe hood on your car and there's that
latch that there's kindof like a, a latch?

(17:35):
I'm going to
attempt to see it withouttriggering it potentially.
Okay. Make an investigation check.
Alright. Uh, 13.
13. You try to look down in there, you can kind of see, uh, it,
you can kind of see this.

(17:57):
It's kind of a metal wire loop thatgoes to the back of the dresser,
but that's all you canreally make out of it. Does.
Does it appear as though it goesthrough the back, like to the wall?
You take a look at theback of the dresser,
but the dresser is pressed upto the wall. So you're not sure.
I'm just going to, I'll step upand look at Gareth and say, uh,

(18:20):
do you think you couldhelp me move a dresser?
Gladly?
Yeah. It's just that one.And I'll point at it.
Where.
Would you like it moved? Uh, justtowards the bed would be great. Yeah.
I.
I step back to the other corner.
I wiggle it a little just to make surethat I got the weight right and then I

(18:40):
move it carefully over to the bed.
Okay. As you pull on this dresser,
it feels like the dresser catcheson something and you feel something
that the dresser's attachedto pull taut and poo.
You hear a loud rumblingcome from the fireplace. Oh.

(19:01):
I wonder what that could be.
.
And I, uh, I,
I walk over towards the fireplaceand kind of just stick my head into
it and look, look up.
Hello.
That seems safe.
You see that the bottom ofthe fireplace has moved aside

(19:22):
and there is a stair, thereis a staircase going down.
Hello? Down there.
. No, just.
Just a, just a gentle hello.
.
Uh, you get no response.
I, uh, I then, um, turn andI, I walk over towards, uh,

(19:42):
the door that the other two went intoand I stick my head in. Just kind of,
so my head is the only thing in the room.
Um, the fireplace hassprouted a, a staircase.
Uh,
being reasonably assured that thisdresser did not blow up when it was moved.
.
Thanks for.
That's,
I love the fact that you moved to theother side of the room as he's pulling the

(20:04):
staircase out. , I'm,I mean, the fire, the dresser.
You never know. It could have beena bomb. Uh, I will, I'll follow poo.
Oh yeah. So let's fireplace over here.
I heard a loud rumble sometimesit sounded kind of like my
tummy does at some times. And, um,

(20:24):
there's a staircase therewhere there wasn't before.
Well, that sounds like something weshould check out. Don't you think.
I take a look? Is it lighted or is itsomething we can see clearly down or.
Um.
Well, I can see clearlydown anything, but.
It, it is not lit.
A how far.
Can I see down? It.
Is a stairway to darkness. Do you havedark vision? I don't think you do.

(20:46):
I don't think, think dragon. I don'tthink I do. I don't think dragon borns do.
Uh, so you don't seevery far down it at all.
Our box might be down there.
Oh, well that's probably agood idea. If I was a box,
this would be a very good place to hide.
She did say it was casket bike. Sounder the ground seems to make sense.
Should we tell our companionoutdoors what we're up

(21:11):
to?
Probably. I will pokemy head out the window.
So, or bug five minutes earlier.
All of a sudden you realize sound isback on again. You can hear things.
Okay. And you, you hear a lot of ruckusaround the front of the building,
but no one's poking their head aroundthe be the behind the building yet. Like,

(21:32):
people are trying to figure out whythere's four dead bodies in the street.
Uh, just more concernedabout protecting them.
So I'm just trying tostay close to the window.
I'm not like looking aroundthe edge or anything.
Okay. Uh, go ahead and rolla stealth check please.
If you're trying to be undetected.
Uh, seven.

(21:54):
Okay.
I will say a young Teeling girl is,
it goes wandering between the buildingsand looks around. She goes, oh mommy,
there's the, there's a man back here.
What are you doing out this time of night?
Mommy? He's scary. And sheruns off .

(22:15):
I'm gonna, I'm walking after her.
Oh, you are? Okay. Yeah.
Trying to, trying to,
thinking that I'm trying to calmher down. Trying to, if anything,
just get attention to me, not to them.
. Oh, okay. Um, so you,

(22:35):
you walk to the frontof the building and, uh,
there's a, uh, collection of probablyabout seven people in front of there,
two of which seem to be the, uh,
authorities in wa from water deeptrying to investigate the crime. Uh,
they see the kid coming outsaying, mommy, he's scary.
And then they look up and they see a, uh,

(22:59):
half work coming from behind thebuilding, and they're like, yusa,
yusa stop where you're at right now.
Well, I'm, I'm trying to stillcarry myself very upright and use my
position of privilege and, uh,
just act and, and, uh, okay. I'll just,

(23:21):
I'll just say it. I'm, I'm, I'm,
I'm trying to act like I'm justchecking it out too. My apologies.
I just arrived tonightin town when I heard
this ruckus and cameover to examine things.
, the little, the little girlgoes, that man was behind the building.

(23:42):
That's where I heard the noise.
He, he looks at, he goes, what noise did you hear?
I don't know. It couldhave just been an animal,
some sort of wild animalthat attacked these men.
You heard it behind the building.
Well, when I went tocheck it out, it was gone.
Perhaps we should go take a look behindthe building to see if we can find it.

(24:03):
Well, I, it's not there.
I looked inside thewhole three foot fence.
It must have lucked in and lucked out.
You, you looked inside a fence.
The It was, it's three feet tall. Iwas, I thought something might be there.
I thought something dangerous might bethere. So I checked it out. It was fine.

(24:24):
I looked at the windows. Allthe windows are perfectly fine.
Not broken in or anything.
.
What about broken windows?
? Oh, no.
No. I said they weren'tbroken. Look at me.
I'm impressive.
.

(24:46):
Oh no.
Are you calling me a liar? Just'cause I'm half work. This is racist.
What is this.
Sir?
I assure you that the policeforce of the water deep constable
is entirely diversified and we carry

(25:06):
no brig garment against peopleof a green colored species or
otherwise, I assure you that Where.
Are all these diverse creatures?I just, you're all the same.
You all look the same to me.
Cool. . All right then.
It, it is,
it is plainly obvious that this manhad nothing to do with anything that is

(25:29):
going on, um,
as he is a productivemember of a very much
appreciated culture.
Thank.
You. And we, we, we have nothingmore to address here. Move along,
sir.
Okay. Thank you. Goodbye.
.

(25:50):
I'm gonna, I guess I'm gonna,
I'm gonna try to walk down the streetuntil they're not looking ,
and then I'll try to circle back around.
. Um, okay.
Go ahead and make anotherstealth check please.
15. Alright. Am I atdisadvantage again? No.

(26:13):
Okay.
Um, you, uh,
you managed to walk around the block andthen just come directly back from the
behind side of the building so theydon't see you re-approach the building at
this time. You see poo's head stick outthe window. And poo, what did you say?
I believe it was Callum. Calebsaid, stick out the window.
Oh.
Sorry. I, I got, I got so lost in thatsocial commentary that just happened.

(26:36):
Here. .
Uh, go ahead, Callum.
You are having fun out here.
Not in the least.
Well, it's, what's the staircases?
Okay, let's go. I'm, I've hadit, I've had it without here.
, you want to switch?
I can stand out there and youcan go down the staircase.

(26:56):
Somehow. I.
Don't think you'll just stand out here.
I'm very good at standing. It'sone of the things I'm very good at.
Okay. Well, I'm going,I'm going in .
All right.
I don't, I don't wanna haveto deal with that again.
And I don't like lying that much.
. All right.
It's real fun when you try it.

(27:18):
All right. So you,
you come in and you see the rest ofthem are standing in front of the
fireplace. And as youapproach the fireplace,
you can see some steepstairs going down into
a darker sub level.
Who wants to go downthe creepy tunnel first?
I would be happy to. I thoughtyou were standing outside.

(27:42):
What?
Well, you said, you said you didn'tneed anyone standing outside.
I said I didn't thinkyou'd just stand there.
I can go outside if you want. You guys can have, you know,
fun in the creepy tunnel by yourself.
No, I like keeping an eye on you.You can go in front of me. .
I said some mistrustbetween the two of you.

(28:04):
Oh, I'm perfectly trusting of all of you.
I'm going down the STAs. . Alright.
Uh, we, so what's, what'sgonna be our marching order?
I'll follow behind Poo.
Who is, who is after Poo?Are we putting Gareth? Me.
Callum.
Callum, Callum.

(28:24):
Poo. Callum, Gareth Orba.
I mean, if, if we were,
if we were acting actually talkingabout that in character, I mean,
I could say that I'm the onewith Dark Vision that I can see.
Oh, poo's got dark.
Vision too. The onlyone that doesn't have.
Oh, good. Good. Yeah. Dark.
Vision is Gareth. I alsohave dark vision. Oh.
Nice.
I'll just cast light onhim, like on his shield.

(28:46):
What's your, what's the radius of light?
It is 20 foot radius Dimm light.I've been called a dimm light before.
Bright light for 20 feet,DIMM light for additional 20.
So Callum turns around andwaves his hands around you and
mutter something and gibberish.
And all of a sudden your shieldis producing light. It's the broadest,

(29:09):
it's the broadestflashlight you've ever seen.
Alright then.
All right.
So you guys get to the bottom of thestairs and you come to a circular
room with a hallway directly to thenorth of you. In the middle of the room,
there's a wooden deus that's in themiddle of the floor that has something
written on it. . So Gareth,

(29:32):
you're the only one who can actuallyread what's written on that day is 'cause
you recognize it, that itis written in infernal.
This message.
Is written in Inferno.
And what it says is becareful of the things
you want for, they may want you more.
It reads, be careful.

(29:54):
Of the things you want for, they may want you more.
Sounds like my ex-girlfriend.
Well, I want a snack ,
so it wants me more.Mm-hmm. . Yes.
And does it seem like a magic spellor just sort of a warning or It's like

(30:17):
graffiti.
Roll an intelligence check.
Oh dear. We don't want thatto happen. Yeah. Epic fail.
Oh, you roll the one. Uh.
A three.
Okay. Well, usually when you, when youroll, when you roll a, uh, critical fail,
that's gonna be a one. Uh,but at, at a three, uh, no,
you're not familiar with that, thatphrasing, but it sounds like something.

(30:43):
Sure. Sounds like something. But is.
It carved into the stone? Isit scrawled onto the stone?
It's just written on it. It's.
Wood, right?
Yeah, it's, it's wood.
Uh, onto the wood. It's, it'swritten onto the wood. Mm-hmm.
not carved in. Nope. Just.
Handwritten. Handwritten.
It's not a, it's not aplaque that was put there.
Nope. It's handwritten as ifit was a reminder of something.

(31:06):
And we don't hear anyoneelse moving down here. Do we.
Make a perception check, please?
Oh, well, my perception wasn't great,so I think we'll go with the 16 passive.
'cause otherwise it's a nine.
Um, you get some vaguesounds of shuffling,
but that's about it.

(31:28):
And we don't see,
and we don't really seeanything else in this big round
room where like the box could be.
Nope. Just a hallway going to the north.
Is, um, is this the box we're lookingfor or is it something different?
It's not the box.

(31:48):
We look elsewhere a problem.
Maybe if we tried to bequiet while we did it.
Oh, definitely. And I, Istart sneaking forwards.
Um, is everybody going to try to bequiet while they go forward? Yes.
I.
Sure will.
Everybody.
Needs to roll a stealth check.

(32:10):
That would be a 22 on my end.
And I used.
To very stealthy.
So you got 22 and 19 mm-hmm.
natural.
20. Now, normally,
normally I expect the paladins to bethe loud ones with their heavy armor.
You got a 19 and an at 20 I,that's not so much the case.

(32:31):
And I expect myself tobe the stealthy one.
Oh, no, there.
That's a nice eight that I'vegot. One, one. But as a group,
we've.
I was gonna say this was agroup check. So as you guys, uh.
Which as as a point border are eitherof our paladins wearing heavy armor,

(32:54):
I am wearing chain mail. Soyou're at disadvantage. Yeah.
Go ahead and re-roll that, that, that net 20 there Steve-O.
Fun, fun little d and d rules.
Your armor is too noisy to beable to just roll straight.
A natural. 11. Yeah. Okay.
Security bonus.
I believe I have chain mail too.So I rolled in there since 17.

(33:18):
Oh, look at your goal.
So you're, uh, I I I will callthis a barrel. I put honey.
All over my chain. Ma'am.
I start licking you .
This just got weird quick, guys. Mental images, people.
Come on now. All right.
So I will say you guys marginallypassed your stealth check.

(33:41):
Woo hoo.
Alright. So as you, as you go through thehallway to the north side of the room,
it have some naturally occurring.
It seems like you're leaving a room intoa cave system is what it feels like.
Uh, the natural, it, it kind of isa natural rock stairway going up.
And as you look up through thehallway going north, it makes a sharp,

(34:03):
90 degree turn to the left.
I guess we continue to followit. That's what I'm doing.
I'll follow it. I'llfollow a little bit behind.
Okay. Po. So as you emerge from thathall, you encounter a la a large,
it's basically a cavern that hasseveral pits aligned in the floor.

(34:23):
And as you approach look at 'em,you don't see a bottom on them.
And you notice that thereare two no three openings
on the west side of the room.
And then another set of stairsthat goes off to the right toward,
towards the northwest area ofthe cavern that you are in.

(34:45):
Going up or down they go up.
There seems to be somesort of maze cave thing.
Um, I will look to the party and see
whatever else might be down here. We're just looking for this box.
And we can get rightoutta here after that.

(35:06):
Oh, would it look likethat box over there?
And I point down the hallway towardsthe end? Um, towards the north.
I would love to look at it, butyou're blocking the way, poo.
Oh, sorry.
So if you could, okay.
Yeah. I move out of the entranceinto the, the cavern a little more.
I will step in and follow after poo.

(35:26):
Ah, it's, it's right over there. Downtowards the end. That spooky pot.
I'm gonna say no, honestly,
we're looking for something smalland gray like a casket. She said.
So Callum, as, as you come intothe cavern, the large cavern,
and what poo's pointing out toyou, it's very obviously a, uh,
what looks like as has been yourexperience, a treasure chest.

(35:51):
I like money as much as thenext person. Maybe more.
I don't, you know, I'm not gonna judgehow much you like money, but, uh,
I think there might be dead bodies inthere and I don't want to touch it. So.
But dead bodies in the chest.
I mean, there were peopleup there chanting to demons,

(36:12):
so I don't know whatthey put in their chest.
That, that does sound rather ominous.
But I've seen quite a fewold dead bodies in my day.
You can go open it if you want.
Oh yes. I think,
I think I'll perhaps abox is inside that box.

(36:34):
That would be very clever.
Well, I'll just, I'll juststand back here and, uh,
knock an arrow for noreason. Just in case.
Dead.
Bodies come out at you.Yeah. You know, because Oh.
Yes.
Don't trust it or anythingin here. Honestly.

(36:56):
Where.
Is it that you see this?
Um, Gareth, as you come out,
you can't see as far as theones that have dark vision.
'cause all you can see iswhat's in your circle of light.
But you do see poogoing towards the north.
Ah, okay. I'll follow him.
I'm just gonna, and now I seeit. Stay back here. .

(37:16):
Nevermind. I see it now.
Oh, you decided to join in on the fun.
I must warn you, I hear that theremight be dead bodies in here.
.
I've seen a dead body before.
Oh, that's, that's exactly what I said.
Would you like to dothe honors or should I.

(37:39):
I stepped forward and, uh, lookto see if there's any locks,
anything obvious that might be, you know,
a completely obviousbooby trap or something.
So you're inspecting the chest?
Sure.
Okay. Um, I'd like you to roll a
investigation check, please. Here.

(38:00):
We go. That's a nine.
Cool. I would like you tomake a dexterity save, please.
Where am I? Oh, saving through.Okay. Uh, that's a three.
. Ooh. Wow. Okay.
Oh no.
So as you are inspecting this chest,
it opens up to a flurryof teeth and a tongue,

(38:23):
and it takes a big old bite at you. I am,
I am assuming that a uh,
seven does not hit you.
Yeah, it would not hit me.
Okay. So you managed to justjump outta the way. Just barely.
Okay.
As,
as this living thing that was disguisedas a treasure chest jumps out at you.

(38:48):
.
I would like everybodyto roll for initiative.
11 For my initiative. 11 as well.
Okay. 12.
Uh, would I have been able to shoot it? I.
Will say, because.
You, it's, it's not a dead body, but.
Well, let's get our initiative here.
And I will say that becauseyou were holding that action,

(39:11):
you had knocked the arrow.I will give you that,
I'll give you that as a reaction.
Going to show it a nicelittle, uh, arrow at it,
which will come up to a 27 to hit.
Yeah.
Only barely though.
I thought. Maybe, maybe just a little bit.

(39:34):
Let me find the right dice. D eight. That's eight points of damage.
So right as this thing jumps totake a bite out of, uh, Gareth,
this arrows sails between Poo and Garethand hits this thing right in the mouth.
It's like, uh, Orba is your turn then.
I guess I'll just move that way.

(39:55):
Alright. You have 30 feet of movement.
Um, are these holes thatare in the bottom? Yep.
Those are the big old deep pits.
Well, I guess I'll go thisway then there. And, um,
I guess since I can't see too much,I guess I will, uh, just ready, I'll,

(40:16):
I'll get a spear ready just in case.
'cause since I don't seeanything too close to me.
All right. So if anything getsnear you, you're going to use your,
you're gonna throw your.
Spear. I'll drop it. .Well, I, I'm trying to decide how,
how much room. Yeah.Well, I just didn't know.
'Cause if you wanna hold your action, youcan, but you gotta tell me what, what,

(40:37):
what the trigger is andwhat you want to do.
Yeah, I mean, just if I see somethingcoming at me, I'll throw the spear.
Right. If you see something, say something. Gotcha.
Yeah.
Just way to do it.
All right, Gareth, it is your turn.
I'm going to use, uh, extra attackand do battle ax. Battle ax.

(40:57):
Battleax. Battle ax roll metwo. Attack. Roll please. Did.
That work?
Uh, yeah. The first roll, thefirst attack you rolled there, uh,
you swung, but you barely missed it. Uh,
you're kind of dis disoriented becauseyou're in the darkness. Mm-hmm.
But you got the bright shininglight, and so it's like trying to,
it's like a fist fight witha flashlight. Okay. Uh,

(41:19):
the second time you kind of got yourorientation down and you take a swing,
you bring it right down on topof the, uh, living chest there.
Go ahead and roll yourdamage. Are you, are you roll?
Are you doing thisone-handed or two-handed?
Um, well, I.
Have my shield, so, okay.
If you, if you have your shield, then this is only one handed then.
So go ahead and roll thatbattle ax. Yeah. So you roll,

(41:41):
you rolled 10 damage. So you madea pretty solid hit on this thing.
And it's like, it, it glares at youwith just painful, full look in his eye.
And it looks like it's just still raring.
To go. Yeah.
Great. .
Who It is Your turn.
Alright, here we go.

(42:04):
Uh, does a non-natural 20 hit?
Yes. That will hit.
Ooh, that's pretty, um, 15damage on that first one.
Oh.
Solid. Hit.
Dinging. Dinging.
Dinging. So as it'sglaring at you, Gareth, uh,
you watch as the bug bear next toyou, pulls out his, what, what,
what weapon did you use? Uh.

(42:25):
My great axe.
Pulls out this great and justslams it into the side of this, uh.
I, I, I shove him aside a littlebit as I step forward. .
Yeah. And just slams it inthere. And he is like, let.
Me show you.
How it's done.
Let me show you how it's done.
And just buries this ax and, and the, uh,
what would be the forehead ofthis chest? And, uh, it, it,

(42:50):
it's very unhappy to say, please.
Oh, I, I put my foot on it,
yank my ax out and go in foranother, another hit on him. Alright.
Roll again.
Uh, 14.
Uh, 14 wheel hit.
12 Damage.
Uh, it's looking pretty hurt.

(43:10):
Like board boards of it are kind ofsplintered off and you got kind of
this amorphous mist that's sort ofleaking out of it at this point.
Oh yes. I think, I thinkthat will do it. Ally.
Anyone want another go?
And, uh, I just, uh, stay there.
Alright. Callum, it's your turn.

(43:33):
I would like to shoot it withan arrow, please if I could.
Are you sure about that?
I'm pretty sure. Alright.
Go ahead and shoot it with an arrow.
Oh, that's very, very cocked. Hang on.
That is a math. That's, that'sa math that I have to do. 18.
Yeah. And 18 will hit.

(43:53):
Uh, that's what you six, eight points of damage.
You tag it in one of its four eyes andit just starts leaking this amorphous
mist out of it. It's, it'slooking rough at this point. And,
and it's starting tokind of get, get, its,
you can tell it's starting to feelits fight or flight senses going.
I would like to attempt to shootit in its other eyeball then.

(44:15):
Uh, one of the other four. Oneof the remaining three. Go ahead.
Alright, that is a math again.
17.
I hate math, man. Uh, yeah.Seventeen's gonna hit.
Oh my good golly. Miss Molly.Seven points of piercing damage.
All right, so as you, uh.

(44:37):
Hit.
It with this other arrow on the other eye,
it just hits and the whole thing justkind of splinters outward and then just
dissipates into this amorphousstuff and then dissipates on
its own. And as it explodes outinto this amorphous whatever, uh,
it rains out probablyabout 50 gold pieces.

(44:59):
Okay.
Like a good pinata.
I try to catch them . Look at that.
Are are you guys gonna be sharing yourfunds or is everybody gonna get their
own?
Does poo look like he reallyis, you know, going for him?
Yes.
I I, I'll let poo pick him up.
All right. Poo, you, you go aheadand add 50 gold to your coinage.

(45:22):
It's fine. It's not like I helped at all.
Well, yes, Callum, that wasa wonderful shot. Doors,
windows, chest. Why Youcan take care of anything.
Well done all here. Have a coin.
one coin . Yes.

(45:44):
Uh, Callum, I'd like you tomake a perception check please.
Yeah, I am.
I'm not advancing too quickly towardsthem because there's a lot of open
doorways that make me very nervous.
That is a 17 plus six.
You hear a lot of
sort of like moving dirt.

(46:05):
And.
Kind of bother sh kind of someshuffling and groaning coming from
an area behind you.
Oh, behind me. No, I don'tmean to alarm anyone, but, uh,
something's moving this way.
Oh, maybe it's another fireplace.
It.

(46:26):
I believe it made somenoises like that before.
I'm going to turn around and uh,
place a hand on Gareth
and say good luck and castprotection from evil and good
on him.
Oh wow.

(46:47):
And for our listening audience at home,
go ahead and tell us what does thatspell? What does that particular spell do?
So until this ends, assuming thatGareth is a willing creature,
he will be protected from aberrations, celestials, elementals, fas fiends,
and the undead. Uh,
this allows any creature of those typeto have disadvantage on attack rolls

(47:10):
against you. You cannot be charmed, frightened, or possessed by them. And uh,
yeah, good stuff. Good stuff.
And then I'm going to just moveright on past him up this way.
And with that, just so weknow have turn orders here,
I'd like everybody toroll initiative again.

(47:33):
Oh.
Really?
Really a negative one.
Really A negative one initiative.I have never done that before.
For the listening audience. I got a 10.
Oh, for the listeningaudience. I got a 19.

(47:54):
Yeah, I got a 18 and and 18.
I got a two .
Still got a rock .
Dang it. Steve.
.
We can, and yet stillnot last. So .
And for the record, I'll just, uh,
put my shield somewhere where it's notgonna bother me while I swing these

(48:16):
things to this thing two handed.
And that shield doeshave your light on it.
It does.
Throw it at 'em. Make'em hold it. .
I could put it on the floor. It would light the air. Right.
Just be like, here, can you holdthis for me? And then, uh, .
Alright. Gareth.
Actually let me hold, hold on.Let me check a thing real quick.

(48:39):
'cause I need to make sure that light'snot concentration. Nope, we're good.
Alright.
, my.
Callum is.
The only who you are first inthe, uh, initiative order here.
Okay, well I will, uh.
You, so I will say you seeCallum put his hand on, on, uh,
Gareth and be like,
good luck and just runsdown the hallway as

(49:04):
Gareth stands in frontof the, uh, in front of,
in front of that opening.
And that's all the information youhave to inform your current situation.
Okay, well then I, um, know that uh,
Gareth didn't do so hotwith attacking the, um,

(49:26):
mimic up there.
Hell lemme lend you a hand.
And I go after him. So that's 1, 2, 3, 4.
Oh right about there.
As you come to the beginning, the opening of this tunnel,
you do see what does appear tobe a shambling corpse. Okay. Uh,

(49:47):
so go ahead.
All right. So I just roll to attack him.I just try to take a whack at 'em. Oh.
Stay back.
Uh, yeah. Non-natural 20.
That's gonna hit.
Nine points of damage.
That was, that was one hit.
Yep. I'll take another, another swing at him.

(50:08):
Thank you, sir. I'd like another.
That's, uh, uh, 18.
Eighteen's gonna hit.
So that would be 16 damage.
Oof. For that second swing.
You swing and you lop him right downthe middle and open up his, his, uh,
sternum and, uh, he kind of dropsthe ground motionless, but then,

(50:32):
then all of a sudden he kindof picks himself back up.
But he tagged him real good. Youcan tell Gareth it is your turn.
So if I'll write that, if you wouldlike to approach the zombies and
swing at them, you are welcome to. I'm.
Going to swing two times two.
And you did say you're swinging thistwo handed because you said you clicked

(50:54):
your shield away.
Yes. Did that come out? I clicked on itbut didn't do anything. I click again.
Yeah, go and click. There we go.There we go. Uh, for the two handed,
you rolled a five for that 200. So,
uh, by damage,

(51:14):
but with the, with that five, you are able to drop this, uh,
head zombie. Okay. Asyou, uh, take his head,
cle his head directlyoff of his shoulders. Oh.
Cool. And then I swing again.
Now before you are two zombies, which one are you swinging at?
Um, the one that's, that's straight south.

(51:37):
Okay.
Can I see any differencebetween them? I mean they.
No, they're just zombies. Okay. They're just shaming corpses. Okay.
Somebody's child at one point, I'm sure.
Oh.
.
With a tear in my eye. cleave. Its head from its body. Uh, alright,
battle ax again.
Go ahead. That's a definite hit.Go ahead and roll that damage.

(52:00):
Here we go.
11 Points of damage. All right,
so you just hack thiszombie and you, you tail it,
you nail it crosswise across thislower abdomen and it's entered,
kind of spill out a little bit as you,
as you uncork your ax from him.

(52:22):
.
All right. That's, and uh, you gotsome movement left if you so choose.
So.
Can I stand in the way but sort of in acrouch so people could shoot over me if
this, although you there.
Um, you can stand there. Uh,someone can move through you.
They just can't occupy the same space,
so they're gonna have to go face to faceif they want to fight without rolling

(52:45):
at disadvantage.
Okay.
I'm surprised none of our paladinshave used their specialness yet.
What's the specialness device? Oh,there's undead thing isn't there? Yeah,
I'm sorry.
Tell him it is your turn.
Very nice. I'm just going to, you know,
move down very slightly and uh,

(53:08):
give him a thumbs up. Goodjob. You're doing great.
A thumbs up. Not a fan ofthe undead. This Callum.
I don't mind them. Youknow, it's just that, uh,
why get involved when someoneelse can do it for you.
He gave me.
Something to help, so that'sgood. Yeah. You know, I'm,
I've done my good deed for the daytwice. I also gave you a light.

(53:32):
Okay. Orba or.
Is it channel Divinity? Is that the thing?
That is the thing.
I will,
I will do more than a thumbs up and I'lljust hold an arrow in case something
gets out, but otherwise I'mnot doing anything. Alright.
Orba, it is your turn.
Okay. I'm gonna talk to Callum.
Hello.
Perhaps you go look for the box.

(53:56):
Why we deal with these fiends.
Split the party. Yes. Callum, doyou wanna split, split the party?
Eh.
Just.
Say, I'd love to go throughthis jog place by myself.
That sounds fun. Why not?Let's do it. .
Shall I join you?

(54:17):
I'd probably rather notactually with you personally.
Fine. Then I will dispatchthem. Do as you wish.
.
Oh, these two are in my way.
I'd love to throw a spear, but eh,I don't really like my chances.

(54:39):
You.
Just be rolling at a disadvantage is all.
You have the chance of hitting something.
Yeah, I know. Uh, okay.
Can you explain to me howthe, uh, how that works?
The channeling divinity as far aslike, I mean mm-hmm. ,
is there a range or anything or? I mean.
It's been a while sinceI've played a, uh, pein.

(55:00):
It, I believe it's 30 feet, if I'm notmistaken. Lemme take a look at your.
Character sheet. Yeah, no,
I'm just really feeling like thisis one of the reasons why, you know,
this is part of thedarkness that my group was
afraid of. So I definitelyfeel like this is,
I should be fighting doing something to them.

(55:23):
30 Feet.
30 Feet. I will, I will say something.
.
Go ahead. Rp, that .
Uh.
In the name of Alba,
the one who illuminates the world.

(55:46):
And I'll do it.
.
What's your, uh, what's your dc.
This spell saved DC 13.
13?
Yes.
You, you hold up your, uh,
holy symbol and you saywhat you say and two of them

(56:11):
get this terrified look intheir face and they start going
back to these holes that they had crawledup out of trying to get away from you.
But, uh,
this one was unaffected and he is
going to move forward andtake a swipe at Gareth.

(56:33):
I don't suppose a ninehit you, Gareth does it?
Um, arm request of 18.
I no shot. So zombiesare an utter failure.
Uh, poo your turn.
Okay, so I'm gonna.
Get a little close.
I'm gonna go ahead and go in asfar as squeezing to this room as

(56:56):
much as I, I can.
So I keep going until I see a zombieand then I go ahead and try to take a
swinging at him.
Alright.
Oh, are you running away or something?
I'll attack for
that many, which is, sorry,

(57:19):
I had to get that is.
A gnat 20, sir.
Oh boy. Yes. I thoughtsomething about that too.
So.
I don't, I don't play byrolling an extra dice.
I just do double thefirst dice roll. Okay.
So a lot.
Yeah, you just rolled, uh, 22 damage.

(57:42):
So, uh, I mean 24 damage, which you, you,
you see the zombie who has not beentouched by anybody yet and p just goes in
there and he is like.
Hello. Just hello though. It.
Hacks him in, hackshim in half vertically.
Like Conan the librarianstyle from U H F and uh,

(58:05):
just both pieces just separate downthe middle and fall to the side.
It's a gruesome sight to say the least.
Oh no. Is there anyone elsein here or who wants to fight?
I, uh, take a,
like another step forward to see ifthere's where the other zombies might have

(58:27):
gone to. Uh, should I roll investigation?
No. You, if you can seethem, they're there.
They're actively trying to get away from,
uh, or orba.
Or.
I only see the one thatI attacked currently.

(58:49):
I don't, I took the oneyou attacked off the board.
Well then does that mean I'mstanding next to another one? Mm-hmm.
.
Then I'll attack that one.
Alright.
Does a 16 hit.
A 16 wheel hit.
10 Slashing?
I just.
I go for the legs on this one.

(59:11):
. Cool.
You hack off the legs and he's just atorso pulling himself out around on the
ground now.
Made myself a.
Crawler.
He is in a bad way.
I've got one more back here, butI think I've got it under control.
There's actually two back there, poo.
I'm not sure why you'renot seeing the other one.

(59:33):
Yeah.
I only see the one, but I'll believe you.
Alright, Gareth, now it is your turn.
Alright, I will
1, 2, 3 and then hit this one two times.
All right. Go ahead and swing.

(59:54):
Battleax. 15. Yep.
That's a hit.
You don't even need to roll damage onthat because he only had one hit point
left. So no matter how hardyou hit him, he was dying.
And can I step like over him oron him and hit the other one? Yep.
Go for it.
18 Eighteen's a.
Hit. Go ahead and roll. Damage.
Did you get that? Yep. Okay. So.

(01:00:17):
You take your battleax and you just plantit and then in between is the shoulder
blades of this, uh,
shambling corpse that is tryingactively to get away from Orba.
Callum.
That's my name. Um,
well I did they justdisappear into this room?
They sure did.

(01:00:37):
Wonderful. You're doing great.
.
I'm just going to step up here and keepan eye on the other two doors in case
anything else starts to, uh, come out.
All right.
Now there only two.
Or.
Bog.
Well, there's one to theother direction, but.

(01:00:59):
Uh.
Yeah. Uh, so, um, how many is left?Because I, well, I can't see 'em,
so I don't know.
Exactly.
Um, I guess I'll, I'll movethat way to help them. Then.
As you enter the room, this,
this one shambling corpsethat is remain am ambulating,
uh, is just shrieking and tryingdesperately to get away from you.

(01:01:24):
Uh, am I too close? ? Am Itoo close to throw my spear ?
No, I.
Uh, I'll, I'll guessI'll throw my spear then.
If you want to step one square south tothe south, you'd be within melee range.
Was I, uh, that's not too far. No. Um,
I didn't know if I already did 30 feet.Okay. Yeah. Then I'll use my sword.

(01:01:46):
All right. I'm gonna use bothhands. Okay. So, uh, let's see.
Oh, I.
Rolled a 15.
That hits.
Uh, 16, 15, 21, 21.
Yeah. Yeah. You alsocleve this thing in Twain

(01:02:07):
and it ceases to be Congratulations.
You have solved my walking dead puzzle.
Wow.
A very nice job. Oberg and, um, Odell.

(01:02:28):
Gareth.
Yes, yes, yes. It hasn't been verylong since we've been together.
Yes.
Excellent job all. Oh.
Where was that? A Callum fellow.
He didn't seem to do much.We need to get back to him.
Callum helped me.

(01:02:50):
Oh, that's what he was doing withhis, um, patting you on the back.
Yes. A little bit more thana pat on the back, but yes.
Good job. I am assuming you'reall alive. You look great.
We are. And unharmed.
I'm not even a scratch.

(01:03:10):
See, I knew you could do it.
I knew I could do it too.
I did see something in oneof these rooms back here.
Me too. Why not? Bye.
Yeah, check it out.
Oh, well that sounds good to me.
It looked like anothertreasure chest, but Oh.

(01:03:30):
Well.
I'll be careful about opening itlast time you didn't fare so well.
Absolutely.
This one might also havedead bodies in it, you know.
Well, we did take care.Fight quite a few of those.
See, I told you there'dbe dead bodies, didn't I?
And you all wise, beyond your heels.

(01:03:53):
Does.
Don care that too often?
Does this one look muchdifferent than the other?
Are you inspecting it?
I am looking in in the.
Room. Just go, just go and touchit. You know, touch it.
Hell, I'll, I'll give it a go.
I, uh,
walk up to the chest in this roomand I just take my ax to just
bring it down upon it.So I'll just roll it. Uh,

(01:04:18):
14.
Okay. And go ahead and roll damage.
13.
And with that,
as your ax comes down and slamsinto this chest some more amorphous
smoke starts coming out through the gash.
Oh, this one is also not a box.
Would that, uh, would thattechnically count as a surprise?

(01:04:41):
That would count as a surprise round. Oh.
'Cause I get to do stuff.'cause I have a, uh, a uh,
a uh, a uh.
Well said.
I don't know. Surprise attack. Ohyeah. Uh, extra two D six damage.
Go.
Ahead and do two more. D six damage.

(01:05:05):
LA Oh, well that was quite nice.
That would be 11 more damage.
Yeah. So you just nailed thecrap out of this, uh, thing.
The amorous.
The, that is definitely not a, uh, mimic.

(01:05:29):
So this is different.
Than the other thing we just met.
I think that was sarcasm.
It, it was.
Oh, got it.
All.
Right. I failed my sarcasm role.
Um, gosh,
I wasn't planning on you guys justopening every single chest you find.
All right.
I didn't open it. I smashed it.

(01:05:51):
We will continue with thesame initiative order.
Gimme a second here.
'cause I gotta put the Definitely nota mick into the initiative track here.
Wait, it's not, you justsaid it, it. Wait a minute.
Well, while you're doing that, I'm gonnarun and use the restroom real quick.
So, ah.
Is there one in this dungeon?

(01:06:13):
Yes, I saw one back in the back. There's all those holes right there.
She's right there. .
Alright, poo, it's your turnnow on the initial tracker.
Oh, that's a A 14.
A 14.
Correct.

(01:06:34):
A 14 hits. Go ahead androll Some more damage.
Oh, that's only a, uh, a a, oh,
sorry. A math.
Been like a ion.
A nine.
So you hit it and it's just,it, it's just getting mad.
It it wants apiece of you, but, uh, I,

(01:06:55):
I believe you have anotherattack you can throw at it.
A 13, perhaps.
A 13 does a 13 hit.
A 13 does hit.
That would be approximately,um, eight damage.
Uh, yeah, you definitely make contact. You realize though you're not hi,

(01:07:16):
for some reason you're nothitting as hard as you had been,
but you're definitely making contacts.
And it's rather crunchy. That soundslike a bag of chips. Perhaps .
It, you know, it does have alittle bit of that sound to it.
And that's all I'm gonna do.
Alright. Uh, Gareth,

(01:07:38):
you saw as Poo brought hisax down and this thing starts
spilling out the amorphous fog that, uh,
you are very familiar with at this point,
and it pops open with theflurry of tongue and teeth.
What do you want to do?
I'm going to stepforward and hit it twice.

(01:08:00):
Uh, first swing you kind of swung,
but it kind of dodges out of the way,
but it maneuvers it so you're ableto hit it with that second swing.
Go ahead and roll damage for that secondone. Were you rolling Giant? Right?
Was it two handed or one?
Two-handed.
All right. So that'sthe eight then. So you,
you hit it with that battle accident.Just howls in pain. It's, it's,

(01:08:24):
it's already an unhappy state.
This one's going down quicker thanthe last one you guys fought. Wow. Uh,
Callum is Callum back with us.
You're doing great.
I know. Golf clap.
Um, do you think they need helpin there or, you know, I just,

(01:08:44):
I feel like they're probably fine.
So I'm just going to take a fewsteps down this hallway and, uh,
chill here with an air already incase something comes out at me.
Good. We must find the box.
Are you trying to stealth?
Oh yes. Always. All the time.First of all, can you roll.

(01:09:06):
A stealth check for me, please?
Sure, sure. That doesn't makeme nervous at all. Stupid.
14.
14.
Uh oh.
. It's, oh, and I'm,I'm dead. I've died. .
Okay. And with that,

(01:09:28):
it's the treasure chests turn.
Bring it on.
Uh, poo evens or odds?
Odds. Of course.
It is going to take a bite at you. Poo

(01:09:49):
does a 16 hit you?
Oh, yes it does.
All right. So it bites onto your leg.
Woo. .
So it does eight bludgeoning dam,no eight piercing damage to you.
Fuck. Yeah.
And you, sir, are grappledas it adhesive to you.

(01:10:14):
Alright. Uh, it is now four Bo's turn.
Okay.
Or Bogg,
you hear a conflict comingfrom the northwest part of the
cavern as you had saw Who and Gareth walk
into the chamber to the left.

(01:10:35):
.
I'm, I'm, I'm torn, but I thinkCallum's gonna get into trouble,
so I'm gonna follow him and I'm gonna,
I guess I'll be facing back theother way. Uh, I don't know. Gosh.
I want to kind of be aware.
.

(01:10:56):
Keep an eye on the, keep an eyeon both. Kinda look at both ways.
Alright. Go ahead andmake a perception check.
Yeah. And, and sorry, I actuallydo have chain mail , so.
All right. Oh, good.
Liar.
Uh.
And I rolled an eight movingover there, if that matters.

(01:11:19):
With your perception check?
No, with the, uh, trying to bestealthy. Oh. Although, yeah.
Oh, okay. There's that. Yeah.
He's coming to protect me. He saysYes. Clink, clink, clink, clink.
Well, fortunately.
Kill him first.

(01:11:39):
They still didn't notice. Okay. Um.
They Go ahead. Multiple. Good.
Comfortable. Go ahead androll. Perception check.
Either that or I was being non-genderspecific with my pronoun. What'd you say?
Heard before?
16.
16. Um, okay.
You hear a little bit offlitting flittering coming from

(01:11:59):
the east.
Uh, Tinkerbell Sure.
Be Batman. The Eagles.
I saw them with the DoobieBrothers. It, they were amazing.
.
Alright, so we got, wedid Or bug? Uh, poo,
you're up.

(01:12:20):
Great. We've invaded the Hotel.California. Alright, here we go.
But it's such a lovely place.
Oh, than a 15.
Yes.
Ooh. Uh, six.
Six. Does a six do it? No. Um,

(01:12:41):
this thing is like,
it's leaking the amorphous gasall over the place now. It's just,
it, it, it's packagingis just falling apart.
A good job. Book. Ready? Herecomes the coins. .
Higher than a 16 and, uh, 14 damage.

(01:13:03):
Yeah, it just explodes. Itthrows a bunch of clothes at you.
Clothes.
What sort of clothes are we talking here?
Just.
Some fancy robes.
Oh.
I'll take one of those and try,
try to put in on over my coat the,
the hood that I already have on.

(01:13:24):
Oh, parachute pants.
.
No, it's, it is, it is certainlynot hammer time at the moment.
Does this, uh, does thiscoat fit any better?
Uh.
No.
Great.
You are a big bear in a small bear world.

(01:13:47):
All right, well, since I'vekilled him, I'm gonna just, uh,
meander over here again. Make surethere's nothing else back here.
I'll end up like right about here so Ican kind of see out what's going on out
outside the room.
You guys, you guys are afterYou guys have killed the, uh,
what was actually really a mimic, um.

(01:14:09):
What.
In the northeast, in the northwesternchamber, uh, you see across the hall,
across the central, the centralcorridor with all the pits in it. Um,
that hallway that went to thenortheast at the top of the stairs and
Orba and Callum are standingthere in the middle of the

(01:14:30):
hallway waiting for you.
I wouldn't necessarilysay I was waiting, but.
Well, you weren't exactly doing muchof anything else either then, were you?
I was offering moral support., don't underestimate the,
you know, the power of a goodencouraging word. Tiny. This.
Social distancing. Alright,

(01:14:53):
well.
We're out of combat then, right?
Currently.
Okay, well then I will make myway over to the, to the others.
Well, it was another one ofthose box thingies back there.
And sh what, what if

(01:15:15):
there's movement, shut it.
Too. If we could, if wecould move quietly again,
that would be absolutely wonderful.
I am the king of stealth .
Are you guys gonnastealth down this hallway?
Yes sir. Yeah.
I'll poo with all his coins on him.

(01:15:36):
I Are you on motionthat I'm gonna go first.
Alright.
Uh, everybody roll Stealth please.
Gonna mute my light.
Hi David. You kind of under a bushel. No.
No, no, no, no.
. I'm gonna let it shine.
Because that light back, you know, based off of, uh,

(01:15:57):
based off the spell that Kellum had cast.So there not a lot you can do with it.
Caleb, should I leave my shield behind?
You should just, you should juststay there for a minute, you know,
and if I yell in a pained way.
in a pained way,I will come to your raid.
Thank you. I appreciateit. It sounds like.
I'm being hurt in any way, shape or form.

(01:16:19):
We'll stay back here andencourage you. . .
I got a 17.
Alright.
18.
Okay.
15.
Should.
I roll also? Just in case.
If you're not moving forward, there's no reason to.
And I am rolling like crap tonight.
Oh, good.

(01:16:42):
So Steve chose the dice.
You're welcome.
Good job, Steve. Everybody.
Steve. Steve.
I wanted to use mymurder. Probo dice. Steve.
Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve. Steve.
Keep it up. Keep it up. I didn't say stop.
Steve. Steve. Steve .
Okay. So as you are approaching,

(01:17:03):
you do hear some flittering about theroom and that's in front of you. I heard.
It when butches fly.
Seems very fine to me.
Do I perhaps know what it is I'm seeing?
Oh, do you see them?
I see one of them just ahead ofme and he looks awful friendly.
.
Well.

(01:17:23):
You're happy. Dare I see emphasis on theawful, uh, it looks like. Yeah. Well,
ah, .
Let me take a look here. Iwould like you to roll. Uh,
you can either roll it as a
intelligence check or a history check.

(01:17:45):
Well, that sounds a lot likeintelligence and intelligence.
Which is, Hey, you know, I don'tknow where your proficiencies are at.
You know, I am so intelligent thatI've got a zero in all of them. Oh,
neat.
So.
Oh, but I rolled a 16, so we'll take it.
Um,
you recall somewhere onetime when you actually

(01:18:06):
read a book?
Yeah, I do that occasionally.
Um, hearing about, I'msorry, I'm just picking,
I'm just picturing your characteras being something like, uh,
Pinocchio pre island of toysor a land of toys. You know,
I don't want to go for, I don'twant to go to school type character.

(01:18:26):
Be careful about Disney Man.
. Find one that talks, sir. Um.
I so , I was gonna say like, you know, bender from Breakfast Club,
but that also works.
Um, but, but you do remember readings one,
some of the darker material whenyou, uh, did make it to your classes.
And you've seen a picture of these oncein a book and you know them to be what

(01:18:50):
are called shadow demons.
Oh heck. And yeah, this is right up myalley. I'm ready to go. Let's do it.
Really? You're excited toactually fight something.
. Oh yeah. It's a shadow demon.
That sounds like somethingthat I'm so into.
Um, so what do you want to do at thispoint? You can see them. It hasn't,

(01:19:12):
it doesn't appear to havenoticed you at this point.
If I were to take a step forward,
the chances of it noticing mebefore I do anything are high.
I assume.
It depends on what the dice say.
Um, actually, you know what I'dlike to do from where I'm at?
I would like to use my hunter's sense.

(01:19:33):
Okay. And for our listeningaudience, uh, yes.
So it allows me to choose a creatureI can see within 60 feet and learn
if it has immunities, resistances, or vulnerabilities.
Okay. So
you concentrate real hard and you reallyget attuned with the nature of this

(01:19:53):
creature that's in front of you. And, uh, you can tell that it's, uh,
it that given that it's a demon,it's vulnerable to radiant damage.
Uh, but it is resistant toacid fire, necrotic thunder,
bludgeoning piercing, andslashing from non-ag attacks.
Sick.

(01:20:14):
Um,
and it is immune to coldlightning and poison and condition
immunities. It's a, it is immune toexhaustion, being grappled, paralyzed,
petrified, poisoned, prone or restrained.
Great. Um, I'm going to
slowly just turn around.

(01:20:35):
Turn around.
To these now and then I'm going to, uh,
slowly turn around to, uh, Auerbach here
and, uh, very, very quietly say,
if you could do, you know, uh,what you did before with all your,

(01:20:59):
you know, religious stuff.
I don't think it'd like it. religious stuff. Yeah, that's big.
That'd be great. Oh.
Okay.
Um.
Do you have another channel? Divinity?
Yeah. That's, that's.
Why spell slots are empty.

(01:21:21):
Um.
Uh.
Uh, or if not I can take careof it. I guess. You know.
How, how many do I have?
Probably it's on your front page. Igave you a counter for your channel.
Divinities.
Uh.
Can you get.
One per long rest? Soyou have burned to that?

(01:21:41):
Yeah. Um.
You are aware you do have anotherPaladin in your group though.
Yeah, that's true.
Also other Paladin abilitiesthat are super good.
Baby beak face.
Uh, yeah. Well if, uh, you know, you want to go in first, uh,

(01:22:02):
I'll back you up.
.
Gareth, you need to go in anddo the religious thing. I did.
What is in there? Something unreligious.
.

(01:22:23):
I'm, I'm also going tocast hunter's mark on it.
Okay, on which can you pinging, can you ping the one that you're,
you're casting hunter's mark on it?
Yeah, there's totally onlyone in that room, I'm sure.
So what are you guys doing here?
So what do they want meto cha channel Divinity.
Is that what they want me to do?
They want, they want you to goin there and channel divinity.

(01:22:45):
Yes. I, well, to be fair, I didn'tsay Channel Divinity, but you know,
if that's what you wannago in there and do,
except is it prettydark in there still? Uh,
you know, what do you Yeah. Like, orYeah, it's dark, but you know what,
go for it. Yeah, that's not good. Great.

(01:23:06):
So is is this thing undead? Is that Yeah, I, if you, if.
You want to see in there, I could,uh, throw your shield into the room.
, perhaps. .
Are we trying to take itby surprise? Yes. Aye,
I vote yes. Aye. Alright,

(01:23:27):
I'll take a step forward and I'mgonna shoot an arrow at it. All.
Of a sudden you hear a voice inthe other room, say something. Oh.
Shoot. .
Uh, and Gareth, youunderstand it as saying,
I hear something comingfrom the tunnel over there.
I think we're about to be ambushed.
I'm just gonna take a stepforward and shoot Mike.
And you hear another voicego. Right. We must hide.

(01:23:52):
So we hear you.
I didn't hear anything. It sounded like go back.
.
Yeah, the only person whocould understand, who could understand it was, uh,
Gareth.
Right.
Alright. And on that, asyou enter into the room,
we're gonna use the same initiative order.

(01:24:14):
I just need to put the shadowdemons on there. Um, poo,
it's, you're up.
Yep. I run into the room. 5, 10, 50, 20.
To 5 30, 35.
I I and right here. Howis he flying or something?
Uh, he looks like he's about to take off.
Okay. So from right whereI'm at, I can technically,

(01:24:35):
well 'cause I have long,
long limbed, so that would, fromwhere I'm at at the entrance here,
I should be able to attack him. Yeah. Um,
so I will go ahead and tryto attack this guy before.
So I just run straightin through the entrance,
kind of as I look around the corner,
I see one of these guys trying to takeoff and I just try to whack him with my

(01:24:59):
battle ax.
For the listeners at home, uh,
what just happened was Pooruns into a long kind of
courtyard looking room with afountain in the middle of it.
Uh, and, and he sees twoblacked winged horned,
uh, creatures, very muchlooking like demonic entities.

(01:25:24):
And he turns and says.
I say I would like to rage.
Alright, you are a raging.
And with that, I'll start my attack here.
Oh no, it's no getting away this time.

(01:25:46):
Oh.
Uh, so 23.
Uh, 2023 is gonna hit justbarely though. I mean.
Yeah. Just barely figured. Uh, 11 damage.
All right. You hit it and itjust kind of hises at you and,
and it sticks out. Its forked tongue.

(01:26:07):
And then I attack again.
Alright.
Uh, 17.
17 Will hit.
Okay. Uh, 16 damage.
Reduced to eight.
And yeah.
So it hises at you and it turns around and

(01:26:29):
it rolls. A a 13 does a 13 hit.
Oh.
Just barely misses. Ah.
And this one's gonna fly over here.
Oh.
Two of them.

(01:26:51):
Uh, does a 14 hit.
Uh, that meets.
So yes, that does hit,
so it reaches out with its, uh,
with its claws and it swipes down your
torso feeling

(01:27:14):
11 psychic damage on you.
The one thing I don't have resistance to.
And that is the end of the shadow Demon'sturn, uh, Gareth, it is your turn.
Alright, let's see where I am. I'mgoing to at least step to there.
Okay. I cast thunderous smite, right?

(01:27:36):
And as I'm running down the hall, um,
I will say my little catchphrase, you want me to do it live?
If you have a catchphrase.
I, I do.
Mind sworn to Val hot knowingonly virtue blade defending the
helpless hand up, holding the weakmouth speaking only truth, wrath,

(01:28:00):
undoing the wicked.
I so hear Steve Rowe every timeyou do that. I don't know why.
.
Primitive rhythm machine.
All right, so go aheadand roll your tack roll.
Let's see. Battleax,

(01:28:21):
did that go through? Yep. Where am I here?
Okay, go ahead and rollyour initial damage.
Did you roll single-handedor double-handed? It's.
Double-handed.
So yeah, that's gonna be the 12.
Okay.
And then roll two D sixthunder damage on top of that.
I'll just do those livehere. Three and one

(01:28:47):
four.
So plus an additional four.
And now it has to make a
save against that or be knockedback five feet. So yeah,
they,
he get you hit him and this loudthunder crack just comes off of this hit
as, uh,

(01:29:08):
as Gareth lands this strike against thisdemon and it knocks him back five feet
and being knocked back five feet. Um, poo,
I think you get an attackof opportunity on that.
Can I hit him the secondtime or does he go first?
Uh, you actually knocked himback, uh, five feet. So you,

(01:29:30):
that, that takes him out of your attack.
Got it, got it. Unfortunately, it's an 11.
Does an 11 hit. 11 does not hit.
So you take a swing butyou missed. Alright,
Kum.
Well that should be menow, wouldn't it? That.

(01:29:51):
Would be you. You gonna sit therewith your pompoms and shake 'em.
That's one of more differentthings to do. Team goal team,
how they don't look like they're really,uh, getting beat up too much. Do they?
Um, the one that, uh, the one that, uh,
Gareth hit looks like it took a bit ofdamage. Like it, it's a little bit, uh,

(01:30:11):
it's not stunned,
but it's a little bit shocked at theamount of damage that he did that he took
the other one. Not so much'cause of the uh Right.
But you're aware that's because thatall poo's doing is just physical damage,
right? Not magical.
Um, I will turn towardsthe one that I hunted.
Mark just the south of me. Mm-hmm.

(01:30:32):
and I willscowl a bit as is my nature.
And then, um,
my eyes are gonna glow andI will sprout some shiny,
luminous wings. Ooh. Andthat's all I can do this term.
All right. So everybody who canactually see Callum right now,

(01:30:52):
you watch as Callum,
his eyes just glow and these wings juststart to form off of his back and sprout
outwards.
Um, is everything okay?
Never been better.
Bad seafood. All right. So ,
it's your turn and he runsinto the room apparently. Yes.
Running into room .I'm getting between, uh,

(01:31:17):
two of them. If I use,
if I use, um,
since I get an extraattack since I'm a Paladin,
can I do a two-handed attack on oneand then a two-handed on the other or.
Yeah.
Like swing around like that? Yeah. Okay.

(01:31:40):
18 on the, I was doing theone on the, my left first.
Okay. That hits.
Okay. A 13.
You made contact with it,
but it doesn't feel like it did as muchdamage as you would've normally expect
with such a hit. Go ahead and roll thesecond attack on the other one. Yeah.

(01:32:01):
Oh, 18.
That hits.
And 13 for damage.
Same kind of story. You're,you're definitely doing damage,
but just not as much as you would expectwhen you may, when you land these hits.
Yeah.
Poo.
I will. Um,
I'm still raging so I'm just going totake another swing at the sky that stuck

(01:32:25):
his tongue out on me.
Alright.
I'll stick my tongue out at him as well.
Uh, let's see. Higher than a 19.
Yes. That'll hit it.
12 Damage. So six.
Alright.
And I will take another hit at this guy.
Alright.

(01:32:45):
Oh, that is a natural 20 my friend.
Alright, go ahead androll and double your dice.
Oh, that is, um, oh, that's a 9 24 damage.
Alright,
I'm gonna give you full damage on that'cause that's a Nat 20 and no one likes
to have the Nat na 20 nerfed. So you get a hold, you,

(01:33:06):
you actually get a hold of this thingand you just kind of pick it up with your
ax.
You just do like this golf swing andyou just lift it up with your ax all the
way through it. Oh yeah.
And you can tell you made somesolid contact with something there.
That's what stickingyour tongue out at me.
.
And with the shadow demons turn, uh oh.

(01:33:29):
It's unhappy with you for doing that.
So this, uh, this uh,
shadow demon that you hitthat is hurt, just, uh,
it tries to take a swing back at you,
but you were ready for it and youjust smack his hand away with the, uh,
blunt side of your ax. No.

(01:33:49):
Thank you.
And the other one was so distracted bythe viciousness of your attack that it
completely just took, it took a swingat Orba, but it wasn't paying attention.
Orba, you lifted it up your shieldand just batted his arm away.
And Gareth, it is your turn.
All right. Um,

(01:34:11):
then I will go thereand, uh, hit this one.
Okay.
And do I, am I, I don't knowexactly how that SMM thing works.
Is that just a one time thing or it's.
Just a, it's just a one hit, so.Okay. If you wanna do it again,
you gotta cast it again andit'll use another spell slot.
Oh, okay. Okay. I get it. Okay.Um, now I'll just go regular.

(01:34:35):
Okay.
And, uh, do a double, double hit. Let's see,
here we go. Battle x might have hit.
That. Definitely hit, go aheadand roll. Damage. ,
you rolled a 23 for the audience at home.
Did it roll? There it is. Okay.

(01:34:56):
13 Damage.
So you hit it and sort oflike with orba, you, you,
you make contact,
but it's not doing as much damage asyou would as you would be expecting.
Hmm.
Go ahead and roll your second attack.
Did that even hit.
No. Uh, you, you were soperplexed by the lack of dam,
the lack of expected damagethat you, when you took a swing,

(01:35:19):
you whiffed it a little bit because youwere weren't really focusing on what you
were doing. Um.
Oh, that's me. No, I'm goingto do something unprecedented.
I assume so with your wingscoming out last round.
Dare I see? No, I'm just gonnause a sword instead of a bow. Oh,

(01:35:40):
I know. It's really exciting. It'sjust that he's just so close to me.
So I'm gonna go aheadand take a swing at him.
Gonna start calling you Gabriel.
Let's see, to hit thatwould be a non-natural 20.
Alright.
Alright. So it'll be eight piercing,

(01:36:05):
uh, plus five for the hunter's mark. Uh,
plus five radiant damage.
You just beat the tar out of that thingwith that one hit poo you watched as,
as your swings have been just kind ofbarely doing damage. You watched, uh,
Callum come in, come throughthere and just with one hit,

(01:36:26):
just smack the crap out of thisdemon that's in front of you.
I like to, I'd like to hit it again.
All right. Make it.
Happen. If I could, that is a natural 20.
My, my mind.
.
All I, i, you know.

(01:36:46):
Just, but just for fun, let's see what we get.
Okay.
Well that was a one to startwith. Okay. So, so that would be.
A two.
Five piercing from thestraight, straight, uh, attack.
Uh, that's a four on thehunter's mark. So eight for that

(01:37:06):
and another five radiant.
That put it at negative eight hit points.
Cool. Cool. And then I will, uh,how tall are the ceilings in here?
15 Feet. Um, so you as,
as you hit it with your sword a secondtime and poo you're standing right next
to it when it happens, it just
bursts into this dark cloud.

(01:37:29):
And as this cloud surroundsyou for a brief moment,
you feel nothing but despair,
but then it dissipates and the feelingof despair just dissipates with the
cloud. That's all right.
Good thing it does make you tired.'cause then you'd have despair. Tired.
Really?

(01:37:49):
Sorry.
I will also take flight
and move over the group of, uh,
party members over by theother one across the room.
Okay.
The other one.
You know the other demonthat we're fighting.

(01:38:12):
Yes.
Got it.
While you're over there, makea perception check please. Oh.
I sure will.
with such enthusiasm.
17.
Um, you hear
a roaring and a loud poundingcoming from the east.
That sounds very good.
Or bog.

(01:38:32):
Well I'll just keep whacking onthis one. Just doing what I can.
Let me take a quick look atsomething here real quick. Your,
uh, branding smite, if you were touse that does inflict radiant damage.
Well, darn it. I guess I'll use that.

(01:38:53):
So go ahead. Okay, so we'llsay you're casting that,
go ahead and roll your attack.
15.
Uh, 15 does hit so goahead and roll your damage.
So it's my regular with the, with the sword and then, and.
Then you do an extra twoD six radiant damage.
Two D six. Okay. Um,although it says plus, um,

(01:39:14):
it does say plus strength. So thatwould be And my strength is four.
Yep. So that would be 10. 10. Yeah. Okay.
So, and then I do theone, the two D six or Yep.
Roll two D six radiant damage please.
Uh, six total.
Six total.
Yes.

(01:39:35):
Uh, so that equates to, so you,
you weren't expecting to do this muchdamage. It didn't feel like that,
but as soon as you bust out thatradiant damage it hits and it just sead
the tar out of this d thisdemon. It is in an unhappy,
unhealthy situation.

(01:39:56):
And I'm assu assuming thatI can only do, I can, yeah.
I can only attack it once. Right.
Um, you can roll your, you can roll asecond attack, but it doesn't have the it.
Won't, it won't have this. Yeah.
Go ahead and roll to hit.
Yeah, just do what I can.
two so no.

(01:40:17):
No two will not hit . Uh, you, you,
you were blinded by your own searing smitewith the radiant damage that came off
of it. And uh, you completely whiff andit, it laughs at you and just like, ha
poo it is your turn.
Oh, right here. Oh, well I will, um.
I'll run across this fountain area,

(01:40:38):
I guess and look overit at the, the flying,
the winged whatevercreature thing. Um, and, uh,
I'll look at him and I say.
Are you next?
And I'll, I'll attackrecklessly on this one. Ooh.

(01:40:58):
Ooh.
Hey, good. First was a six sobad no. Second was a nat 20.
So, all right. Good. Ow.
Go ahead and roll thatbeautiful bean footage.
I rolled of three.
. Wow. .
I am so sorry, sir. That isterrible when that happens.

(01:41:22):
I, I I got one good net 20an okay net 2020 is is fine.
So six, so 12. It's, it's still 12 damage.
Respectable.
Um, so you, uh,
bury your battle accident and it'sas it falls backwards and shrivels

(01:41:43):
up into that same blackcloud and dissipates.
Oh, I did it.
You have solved my shadow demon puzzle.
Puzzle.
We've got something else tothe east of us, I wouldn't, uh,
celebrate yet.
What sort of something else?

(01:42:05):
Something loud and angry.
Oh, does, does,
does Callum sprouting wingssort of surprise anybody?
Or is this just something?
Is it just me? Just me.
Oh yes. Also, you seem to be flying.
I don't really like to talk about it.
Is it painful?

(01:42:27):
? Is it contagious? .
Yeah. If I were you, I'd keep my distance.
I'd take a step back.
Oh.
Look, I will, I will, uh,make my wings go away.
Okay, so you guys, are they,
you guys watch as thesewings fold up and disappear.

(01:42:49):
And do they like actuallydisappear or are they like Yep.
Tucked away somewhere wherewe can't see 'em. They.
Like evaporate into in capal nothingness.
Got it. Okay.
And just from common knowledge,do we know what this means?
Is this something that would be like,oh, oh yeah. My friend has wings.

(01:43:12):
Um, if you guys want to roll, if anybodywants to wonder that same question,
feel free to roll a nature check.
I also wanna know what I am.
.
Well, that's because you're anangsty teenager. Just Steve.
I, I, yeah. I did 12. Okay. Uh,

(01:43:34):
the two people who rolled to 12. Uh,nothing you're super familiar with,
with your past experiences.
Okay.
Definitely contagious.
.
Still as mysterious as ever.

(01:43:55):
It doesn't seem rather useful. It's really not so much.
I'll take your word for it.
So let's check out the yeast.
