- Hello everybody, andwelcome to another episode
of Playing Games with Strangers.
If you are only listening, listen, if you're only listening
to this in podcast form,
you are only getting half the story.
This is episode 10,
and we kind of early ondecided if we hit episode 10,
we were gonna do it with cameras on.

(01:07):
So I'm not sure what avenuesthis is going to be dispersed.
I do want to put it out over the Geek
Devotions Twitch Stream.
I want to put it on YouTube.I want to put it on Facebook.
I wanna put it on all mediamediums that we can put it on.
But, uh, for specific links
and locations, please checkout the Facebook, uh, page

(01:27):
for playing games of strangers.
I'm sure we'll have links bythe time this actually posts.
Uh, so, uh, I will be your fatand ugly DM for the evening.
Uh, my name is John .
I play, uh, Nick Fosteron the Randoms My shirt.
We're all, well, most of usare repping what we do, uh,

(01:50):
and with us this evening.
I will just go clockwiseon my Skype screen.
We have from GeekDevotions, Celeste Moura.
- Woo-hoo. Hello.- Uh, also, and I also play
- Carrie , who John isn't like,
- I'm not saying she's a gold digger.
.

(02:12):
Um, and then in screen, top right,
we have Eric Compagno .
- Why'd you say it that way? Because
- That's the way theysay it in supersonic, but
- That's not the way thatit's pronounced. And you
- Okay?
For every, everybody outthere to write Panio get Ben

(02:34):
to write it in the script the way
that I do when I sound it out, like I put,
I put phonetically the way that there Yes.
The way that, that's how I got, that's
how I got Nathan James Norman
to say my name correctlywas, I know. I, he,
- I know he said it correctly.
There is one episode that I'm in
where he did say it correctly,
because I had, um, I had senta phonetic pronunciation,

(02:55):
you know, a phonetic spelling of it out.
But, and I can't rememberwhat episode it is, but then
after that, it's, it's gone back to
Compagno and it makes me sad.
.
- Oh,- I'm Eric Kanno.
And I, I am the GrahamWalker in the randoms.

(03:16):
- Alright. And then in mybottom right screen, we have
fire hands himself, Steve McDonald
also doing from How DoingStrangers and Aliens Fame.
That's where I firstheard his voice. Yeah.
- Strangers and aliens. We're about
to celebrate our 10thanniversary this year.
God, you makes me old. Stick. You are old.

(03:37):
So anyway, um, , uh, yeah.
Also I play Fire Handsplus a lot of other,
you hear my voice if you know my voice
and once you've heard it,you just can't unhear it.
- Moving on with the introductions,
I'm gonna skip the quietone for a second here.
And I'm gonna go to the guywho was just, uh, talking
Js Earls writer of two
of the Supersonic pod comics Super Force

(03:59):
and Sumo Girl. So
- Yes.
- SF and sg.- Yeah, he's, he's,
he's got stock in the letter S Yep.
So that's the reason why you'll never see
it featured on Sesame Street.
'cause he's not gonna pay tobring that show to anybody.
- And he's got two more coming up.
Super Sumo and a forcegirl, I believe, isn't it?

(04:21):
- Yeah. And Celeste is wearingher trademark red shirt.
- I am .
- I I'm just saying forthe new, for the new stuff
that's coming out soon, Ihaven't been tapped to do any
of the voices, so I'mtaking that as a hint.
So throwing that out there
- And, well, you should- Wow,

(04:43):
- .
It's okay. It's okay.
I'm just gonna, I'm justgonna have you guys walk
around in the cave for alittle bit. You know, we
- Know who the- Favorites are.
Make John, I are
- Not among them.
Some
- .
Um, and then finally theone that I've been holding
for the end, because hedeserves special accreditation.
Uh, we have Josiah Crandall, who plays Mr.

(05:04):
Matrix in, uh, supersonicpod comics, as well
as one of the Petra people.
But also most recentlywe can introduce him
as award-winning filmmaker.
- I did win an award. Ooh. So.Yay. Oh, so well, thank you.
Thank you. Thank you .
- Um, and as we determined prior

(05:25):
to beginning recording thisevening, he is also the person
who, who's doing the editingfor tonight's episode.
Good luck. So throw that out there.
- So, so if it's awful. Yeah.- I keep praying for you.
- Yes. Yeah. Thank you. Thank you.
- A little, a little fun. A little fun.
Uh, before we get into tonight's game,
I know we've been recordingfor almost 10 minutes now,

(05:45):
but, uh, if you're watching, you're gonna be able
to see a neat phenomenon
because we are in threedifferent time zones from each
other, all communicating overthe wonder of the internet.
So you will legitimatelysee the sun in different
phases in our backgrounds.
If anybody has any naturallight going on in their room,
- It's already set.
- I'm in the basement.. I have no windows.

(06:07):
I'm in a dungeon. .
- Well, as, as you justheard Steve say hi.
It's already set there.
Uh, Eric and I are in the West Coast,
and, uh, Celeste andJosiah are central time.
And I can see that big oldwindow in Josiah's background.
So he's still got some daylight going.
- I have a window back there,
but the window being openwhen it gets dark creeps me

(06:28):
out. So I keep it closed.
- ,- I was gonna say something,
but the problem is, isthat I know you're afraid
of certain things now, so I'mjust not gonna be that guy.
Appreciate that. I'mnot gonna be that guy.
Although what happens in the game,
I can't make any promises.
- It's- What happens in the game is in the game.
- So, with that being said,we're, let's go into tonight's

(06:53):
episode of playing games
with strangers. That was dumb
- . Wow.
- They can fix it in post.Do you wanna do another take?
- Yeah, yeah. No, I'm good. We'll
- Stick with it.
Josiah can throw some echo on there.
- I can throw some, I can .

(07:14):
- That sounded like a, I certainly
can. Don't know that I will.
- Yeah, that's exactlywhat I said. .
- Um, alright, so, uh,picking up where we left off.
Who wants to do the recap? JS Earls.
Why don't you do the recap for last,
uh, for the last episode.
- Oh, sure. Yeah. I can readit off my phone here.

(07:37):
- Uh, no, that, that's,that's not necessary. Uh,
- He's really good at those.
- And then,- Well, he wasn't,
he wasn't here for the last episode.
That was the joke. Um,Eric, do you remember
what happened last episode?
- Uh, I think so. Um, we,we found the loom of time.
- Yes, you did.- Last episode.
We got some of the fruit ofthat loom. Yeah. .

(07:59):
Um, did, did we start off with a fight?
I think we started offwith a fight. You did
- Start off with fight, witha fight with some demons. We
- Fought, um, a ggl,
a rezo, I don't know how to say that word.
A g rezo Zo, and a couple of, I
- Think it's rezo- Bla Sure.
That thing you it. And, uh, two drenches.
And we beat 'em four. No, there was three,

(08:22):
- There was three drees, maybe- There was three left.
We'd already killed one.Anyway, and we beat 'em.
We, we, we beat those demons.
And then we went into the castle
and we investigated theruins of the castle,
and we found a roomfull of a bunch of, uh,
burned dead people,
- Crispy bodies by the- Door. .

(08:44):
- It's like room.
And, and then we founda secret door that led
to a secret room.
And in that secret room, therewere three women with, um,
that triggered Celeste .
- I am offended that you,
that you completely passed over the test
of a hundred arrows.

(09:05):
- Oh, that was before, wasn'tit? I forgot. That was before.
I'm, I'm staring at the testof a hundred arrows. Yeah.
We had to solve the, the puzzle, the test
of a hundred arrows, um, wherewe had to get through your,
your arrow maze.
And, and then we found thesecret room with the, the,
the fates in it where wefound the loom of time
and the shuttle of time.

(09:27):
And we recovered those items
and, uh, then began tomake our way back to
Erford, downtown Erford.
Did we go back to Erford?
- You didn't make, you didn't go back
to anywhere you guyscamped out in the woods.
- Oh, that's right. Where
- Poo had a dream, or not a dream,

(09:47):
but he fell asleep remembering
what he saw when he made contact with, uh,
the fabric of reality.
- That's right. Yeah.
We didn't go, we were, Ithink we were headed back
to Erford, but I don't thinkwe've gotten there yet.
- Nope.- So that's what I remember.
I didn't take any notes. I'mjust going off of pure brain

(10:08):
right now and it's, it'sgoing swimmingly, .
- Hey, you know, you, youdid, you did all right.
The only thing that, the only two things
that you forgot was the quethe test of a hundred arrows.
And then the note from Damien Metis.
- Oh, yeah. The super crypticnote that wasn't very cryptic.
Hmm. Yeah, it was sortathat, that, uh, some,

(10:31):
some people in the partywere very suspicious of.
- So that being said, uh, let's go ahead
and dip back into our game.
For those of you who arewatching the, for those of you
who are watching the, uh, video feed, um,

(10:52):
I will say that, that peopleare popping up a whole bunch
of stuff on the screenthat's catching me off guard.
- I didn't know I could do that. I didn't
mean to do that .
- Um, I will say that unfortunately
I could share my screen withyou, uh, with for roll 20,
but I have a feeling itwould block out all the faces
that we have here if I were to.

(11:13):
Um, and also, I'm notsure which of my maps are,
I'm not sure which ofmy maps are copyrighted.
So, uh, to error on the safeside, you're still gonna have
to use your imagination for that.
But hey, at least you can see
what all the rest of us look like. That's
- Right.
- Breaking that fourth wall.Lucky one step at a time.

(11:34):
Maybe ne maybe next time wedo this for whatever episode
that's gonna be, we'll come up
with a better solution for that.
But in the meantime,
so you guys find yourselvescamped out in the woods outside
of the, uh, shining lady citadel.
Um, and

(11:56):
we'll just say that you guys passed,
all passed through the night.
No, uh, no.
Um, events or any encountersthat happened overnight.
Uh, because like, like I said,
as you approached the Citadel, you noticed that sounds kind
of, uh, tapered off.
You didn't hear any wildlife or any
and the sound of anything really living

(12:18):
as you came up towards that place.
Um, oh, before I forget, therewas one thing in the recap
that I wanted to keep at theforefront of everybody's minds.
Uh, there was a note that wasfound in the, uh, throne room
where all the crispy bodieswere at, which was a message
that someone had writtenin their own blood
that got baked into thefloor that had stated,

(12:40):
and I looked in my notes fromlast week as they were written
in, uh, our roll 20 dialogue.
But it says Onne was the trader.
So that's a thing.
- Oe- Oe. Okay, so it's Oe.
I wasn't sure if it was OEor Onne. Uh, it's spelled you
- Pronounced it Oe last- Time.

(13:01):
Okay. It's, uh, spelled ONEY
for those of you who are at home.
Uh, so that being said, you wake up, uh,
you guys wake up in the morning
and what you guys do is your choice.
Let me go ahead and pull upthe world map for you guys.

(13:23):
- And excuse me, am I supposed to be here?
- Yes. You're you arewith, you are with them. So
- You're just carrying my dead body.
- No, you did not die.
- You did not die. Youjust kind of zombied
behind them and didn't do a whole lot.
Actually, during the, during the, uh,
during the demon fight, youcowered underneath the, uh,
the corpse of one ofthe, uh, smaller demons.

(13:45):
I forgot the name of. I think
- He did cast one spell.
- He did cast one spell. That is correct.
- Yeah. And we appreciated your help
even though you weren't here.
Yes. All right.
Well, if we have a fullrest under our belts,
then I'm gonna refresh myspell slots and my hit points.

(14:05):
- Yeah. Can we have, um,healed ourselves and such?
- Oh, that's what a long rest will do.
Uh, it's, it refills your hitpoints and your spell slots.
So the, uh, the smites that you did,
you can restore those spell slots.
- Good. 'cause I mean, I, I,
I guess if people have beenlistening, you know, I,

(14:29):
I don't play this as much asprobably some other people.
In fact, I've, I, I got, I, I was
putting like all my books away.
I, I have new bookshelvesand stuff like that,
and I found a, uh, uh,one of the rule books
and I've been like, goingthrough it trying to like,
get a better handle on it.
And I'm like, this might be the wrong one.
I mean, we haven't faced any brigs.

(14:50):
We have, there's nobizarre, I mean, it's like,
there's a lot of rules in here,
but there's nothing, no buttons to push.
I don't know. But I'm
trying to get betterguys, and I really am.
- This, this is the oneyou want. That's Oh, okay.
Yeah, that's, it's
- A little sticker. A little
- Bit.
- Sorry.- It's okay.

(15:11):
- Never happened again.- Maybe
- I'll send you one foryour birthday. Steve
- .
Yeah. Maybe. I, I, I thinkmy son has them, but,
- So yeah. Long rest.
- Alright. Uh, so it's, it'smorning time, correct? Correct.
- You- Have awoken and
- I have a channel Divinity,so that gets restored.

(15:33):
- Uh, yeah. So I, I, uh, I wake up
and I kind of, uh, look around at everyone
and I go to scratch my head
- As I wake up, you know, I, well, and
- I realize that there,I still have this big
needle,
- .
- And then I take it and I, and I sit down
and I look at it, and then I think,

(15:57):
- Oh, Barbara,- I look around at everyone
and I say, oh,
- Um, everyone.
Um, I think that,
uh, I think perhaps maybe I, should
I continue on alone?

(16:20):
Audio? Oh, one second.
- .- We're, we're working.
- Why would you say that friend Poh,
- Clearly you've not hadenough coffee this morning,
- .
- Well, it would seemthat, oh, while I was,
uh, dreaming about other things I saw,

(16:41):
and the message that I gotfrom those a nice old ladies
that are perhaps othersis all, are my fault.
And it would, I think thinking back, oh,
none of you owe me in any of this trouble.
If it wasn't for me, what to begin with.

(17:06):
- I think you underestimate my ability
to get myself in trouble.
- - Poo. Let me ask you a question.
Do you consider thesepeople here, your friends?
- Well, I mean,
we met each other not too long ago,
but we've been through a lot together,

(17:28):
- Right?
So yes or no? Are arethey your friends? Uh,
- Yeah.
Yes. I, I would say thatthey are my friends. Okay.
- And, and, uh, what about you all?
Do you all consider Poo your friend?
- Well, I'd like to think so.- Of course we do.
- Give me a moment.- . Yeah.

(17:51):
Uh, sounds like Orba is undecided,
but, uh, you have at leasttwo friends here, poo.
- Oh, oh, well, two friends. Yes.
That, that's, that's good. But that,
- That, that is good.
I, I think you're toohard on yourself, lad.
I, I I think that, uh, thatmaybe you should be willing

(18:11):
to accept, uh, the help of others and,
and your friends here.
I mean, they went, it soundslike they went to, you know,
they've gone through alot with you already.
And I, Donna, think thatanyone here is ready
to just toss you aside becauseof a wee bit of trouble.
We've all, we've all experienced trouble.

(18:33):
Uh, it's the way of the world.
- But even, even all ofmy, my closest friends
or Christopher, I, I was not able to find
or, or save him.
And, and now look at him.
Oh, I don't want any ofyou to turn out like,
like Christopher or, orlike a column locked away.

(18:56):
Who knows where.
- Oh, poor. You cannot betaken on onto yourself.
The actions of others we'reall responsible for ourselves.
- Yes. But what, what, whatthe ladies said, uh, the, the,
the, the blind ladies, theysaid that, that it was my fault

(19:17):
that I, I must pay
for my failure anyway.
That's how I understood it.
- Well, do you remember exactly
what they were saying to you now?
- Uh, yeah. Yes, I do. I do- Word for word.
- Word for word. And theysaid a wrong to be righted.

(19:39):
A fate has been cast apunishment due this to
a must a pass.
- That doesn't mean that you're the one
that needs to be paying for it.
- Someone has to pay for it.
And, and I think I failed them.

(20:04):
- I think you're beinghasty to throw away the help
of a group of folks who, well, they want
to see what's best for you happen.
No one here is blaming you forthe actions of other people.
That's, that's crazy.
- If I might say somethingunexpectedly nice, ,

(20:28):
I, I have made
similar mistakes to you, poo.
And I do consider you a friend,
although I do enjoy teasing you.
But one of the thingsthat I have learned is
to appreciate those who are around me now,

(20:48):
and not those who are not with me,
or who have chosen not to be with me.
So you should accept our help
and let us carry this burden with you.

(21:08):
- Those who very touching words.
And that I think, I think you all for,
for standing with me.
For during this. Well, if
there was a wrong, maybe now a we
if, if you are sayingthat, you'll do it with me.

(21:31):
We can write it.
- I think that sounds like a fine plan.
- Oh, first off, um,how do I get rid of this
- ?
- I think we just verycareful. Pull it out.
Just pull it out. Nope.
- Oh, and secondly, I'm a bit hungry.
Did anyone bring any food with him?

(21:55):
- Would you like some coffee?- I'll never touch the stuff.
- Well, when we pull thatout, you'll have a blood pop.
- Gross.- That sounds
- Discussion.
That sounds, that soundsawful. Yeah. Not gonna lie.
That's us. Disgusting. Gross. That
- Must be an,- Is that, is that an

(22:16):
or delicacy or something?
- Oh, no, no. Uh, you're right.
Blood pudding is so much better.
- .- I'd like to say goodbye
to all our British viewers.
.
- Great. Well, here'swhat I've been knowing.
I've been away fromwater deep for too long.

(22:37):
Uh, we must be getting back.
We've got, uh, some troubles to solve
and we're now gonna do it.
Uh, sitting around in the forest, uh, wax
and poetic about, um,the fate of the world,
or at least the fate of poo.
- Well, let's, let's hopto it. I'm invigorated.
Let's, uh, get some breakfast.

(22:58):
Uh, I remembered that my tummy is hungry.
- Well, knowing that wewere gonna be traveling,
we did prepare provisions. At
- Least you did.
Okay. I recall you, you, that you were supplied
with several cured meats, right?
And whatnot. Mm-Hmm.
- . I ate all mine.
- .- You can have one of mine, Pia. Oh,

(23:22):
- Thank you.
- So what, what I'munderstanding is poo doesn't not
understand the concept of rations.
- No.- What all rations.
- Right? So what you do isyou dedicate a certain amount
of food that you'regoing to eat every day.

(23:42):
And you don't eat it all at once.
- The food that I dedicate
to eating in a day isthe food that I have.
- Great. Not one for planning, okay.
- Living in the moment. That's right.
And this moment we shouldbe marching forward

(24:09):
and trying to figure outhow to get rid of this.
It makes pointing hard .
- Oh, does it make it easier?'cause it is rather pointing.
- Oh. Oh, you mean usingthis? Oh, look at that.
- I start pointing at things with my

(24:30):
- .
- Okay. What do you point at?
- Uh, I point at, so the,
I'm point at the tree rightin front of me right now.
- Okay. I'm gonna askyou this, Josiah. Yeah.
What's poo, what's poo thinking about
when he points out the tree?
- What's he thinking about? Uh,well, he's probably thinking

(24:52):
as he's pointing out that tree.
That that would be a nice tree, um,
to find some honey in
- .
- Okay. So as you point at this tree, uh,
it cracks in half
and you notice a yellow fluidstart gushing out of it.
- . Oh. Oh, look at that.

(25:13):
- And I, I, I try to clap my hands,
but I, it doesn't quite work.
- .- And as you clap your hand,
and as you clap your handstogether, the two parts
of the tree seal back together.
Oh,
- Mother.
- Well, that's fascinating.- Did anybody else see that?
- And I point to the tree again

(25:37):
- And it splits again.
- Oh. Can someone go grab that for me?
I'm just going to stay there like this.
- I just, I'm juststanding as still as I can,
pointing at the tree.
- Stumble foot is shockedand confused. ,
- I think this mightmore handy than we think.

(26:00):
- I'm, I'm intrigued asto how you are doing that.
- I, I don't know, butcould someone get the honey?
- Well, do you have a jaw orsomething we can put it in?
- Oh, yeah. I haveseveral empty jaws. Well,
- Where are they withoutpointing with the other hand,
- .
Well, there in my, in my pack.

(26:23):
- Well, I can't reach up that house,
so somebody else gonna have to grab that.
- I'll, I'll help grab a jar or two
and toss them over towhoever's nearest the tree.
- I can do it. .Thank you all. Bog.
Your assistance is invaluable.

(26:45):
- Uh, not to be a buzzkill or anything,
but how much time are wegonna spend collecting, honey?
Uh, we have pressing business, you know,
freeing an entire city ofpeople, currently enslaved
by the devil.
- But look, I can do this.
- And then I point at a,a rock nearby. Oh God.

(27:05):
- Oddly nothing happens.- Oh, does the,
the tree doesn't close onmy arm or anything. No,
- That's- Good.
That's good. . .
- Well, I thought Icould do that. Oh, bugs.
Stand still for a second.Don't point at me.
Um, Ellen,

(27:27):
- I'd rather you not point atme. How about, uh, why don't
- We just skip some honeyand let's get moving.
Alright. And the next person that we see
that I don't know I'll point at,
- Or how, nor how about wenot turn people into honey?
Let's, let's not do that.That's a, that's a bad idea.

(27:47):
- You know, you're right.That could be a very
sticky situation.
- Indeed.- Could be helpful though.
The next bad guy thatwe find or pointed at,
- That's much more useful.
- Alright. Um, let's get on our way.

(28:11):
- And I, uh, take a jar of honey. Yeah.
And start walking a, a, a direction.
I'll start walking. Eh, east
- .
- Uh, PP did, perhaps weshould close that tree back up.
- Uh, okay.

(28:36):
- And the, and the tree closes back up
as you close your hands together.
- Oh, look at that. I'mgetting the hang of it.
- I'm not sure what you get the hang of,
but you surely are getting the hang of it.
- Uh, poo friend. Uh, we'vedone, I wanna be going east.

(28:58):
- Oh, which way is east?- Uh, the way you're headed.
- Which way do we want to be going
- North East?
We wanna head back to Deford.
- Alright.- And so I turn, uh, south.
Start walking that way.
- How's about, yeah, justfollow the rest of us instead

(29:19):
of striking it on your own.
- Oh, okay. Um, you're ready.
- Okay, well let school and stumble.
Foot's gonna start walking backin the direction of Erford.
- Oh, that's the directionI should have gone.
- Stumble foot has no chill.- Alright,

(29:40):
- So as you guys are makingyour way through, uh,
the forest, all of a sudden you find,
you hear a rustling inthe trees around you.
Reason why I'm goingtheater of the mind is
because I'm shooting fromthe hip at the moment.
- Ooh. I can do rustling.
- Ooh, we got Foley work. . Um,

(30:01):
- Do you hear that?
That sounds like rustling.
- It was a crow,- A rustle crow. Um, oh,
- More like a candy bar.
Who has candy bars? Andwho's been holding out on me?
- So you guys find yourselves surrounded

(30:21):
by five humans.
- Does anyone else see them?
- I, they're, they're all around us.
- Okay. How far away are they from us?
- Um, they're probably about 15 feet.
They're kind of in a circle around you.
- Poo don't, don't pointat anyone. It's rude.

(30:46):
Okay.
- Wow. I'm thinking maybe he could
point at one of these fellas.
- Let's wait to see how rude they are.
- Hello. Good sir. Whyhave you surrounded us?

- And - Then, uh, the, the onethat seems to be the leader
that has a, uh, brightorange headband on looks.

(31:10):
- Oh, you see what we got here, boys?
We got ourselves a bug bear.
Oh, they fetch a mighty rightprice up in, uh, water deep.
- That's only 75 gold.
Oh, who dare did you take your hat off?
- You've become, you've, they'vegot, they've gotten a much,
they rarer species up there and about.

(31:32):
Now you go for a lot more these days.
- And, and I, I, I, I put on my hat
and then I'm, I, I think of, um, just,
just a, a normal human.
Um, and then I go
- A bug bear.
I don't, I don't know of any bug bear
around here. What bug mail.

(31:53):
- Another one of themgoes, oh, did you see that?
Oh, he changed shapewhen he put on that hat.
Oh, I bet that hat wouldgo for a pretty penny.
- Well, that's what he normallylooks like. He's a human.
He was pretending to be.
- Yes. This hat. This hat.
- Right. We pull up your hands
and just fuck over your goodsand let us take the bug.

(32:17):
Bear off your hand, off your hands
and, uh, you know,
we'll let you go on yourmerry then. All right.
- Poor bear. Poor bug.
You can, uh, point it's time to split.
- Right? Um, okay, I'm putting up my hands
- And I, I i, I point at the, uh,

(32:39):
guy in the orange bandana I guess.
- Alright, Josiah, out of character,
I'm gonna teach yousomething that, you know,
you've probably heard peoplesay in high school, Uhhuh,
only thefirst time's free my friend.
I need you to roll a D100 Uhhuh
- 90.
- Alright? That you, you geta feeling that the next person

(33:02):
who casts a spell is gonnado something ridiculous.
You're not sure what,
but you know that you justchanneled some, uh, a bit of our,
our cane force into the area
that's gonna amplifywhatever happens next on,
on an arcane level that's kindof tingly out here, .

(33:27):
Uh, and with that, I'd like,
let me pull up theinitiative tracker here.
I'd like everybody to, uh,
- Time- Initiate .
Okay? Orba, what did you get? Four. Gar.
What did you get? Plasticfour. A number 11.

(33:48):
Oh, great. Uh, stumble foot.
You are up first you have three kind
of samey looking banditsand one that's got a orange
and black bandana on whichone would you like to attack?
I'd say you're all prettymuch within a brawling
distance of each other at the moment.
- Are they all spread far, far apart?

(34:11):
- Not that far apart, butthey are encircling you.
So it's not like you got aline of a line of them waiting
for a lightning bolt or anything.
- If I, if I moved in betweentwo of 'em, would I be able to
engage two at the same time?
- Um, or are- They too far apart for that?
- I'll say you probablycould engage both. Sure.

(34:32):
- Okay. Then I'm gonnamove in between kind
of like I am on the screen,so not, not the leader,
but I'll move over towardskind of two of the underlings
and I'll move closer to one,
but kind of, you know, close enough to attack one,
but position myself sothat I can kind of maybe
grab the attention oftwo at the same time.
Mm-Hmm. to tryand maybe take the threat off

(34:53):
of some of the other people in the group.
And then I will attack.
Why is it that I roll huge for initiative?
My dice do not like me.
And then I rolled a hitand I rolled like garbage.
Um, so I rolled an 11, whichI'm pretty sure it doesn't hit.
- Um, no, that does not hit. Yeah.

(35:14):
He says with the surprisetone in his voice. Yeah. Ooh.
Uh, so yeah, my hand, you, uh, go
to take a kick at this bandit?
Or are you using a weapon? Are you, are you going mon
- Style or I'm I'm going monk style.
Yeah, I, okay. I did not draw a weapon.
- All right. So you go totake a, a kick at this bandit
and he ma he just kindof matrixes his head back

(35:37):
and, uh, your, your foot sails
by he gets a whiff of your athlete's foot.
- Okay. Then I'm going to bonus action.
Um, do the thing.
Um, so descriptive.
Um, uh, you know, when Iget my two extra attacks,
that thing furry of blows.
Of blows. Yes. Flurry of blows.Flurry of blows. Thank you.

(35:59):
I was drawing a blank whenabuts action. Flurry of blows.
So I'll make two moreattacks. There we go.
Now we're cooking with grease. Yeah.
23 and 25 to hit,
- Uh, both of them hit.
So are I'm assuming one on each?
- Uh, no, I'm just gonnafocus my attacks on.
Yeah, actually, yeah, that's what I'll do.
I'll hit one guy and then theother. So I'll spread that.

(36:21):
- Alright, roll. Just roll your first
roll, your first damage.
- Okay. Um,
first damage is seven pointsof bludgeoning damage.
And the second one is sixpoints of bludgeoning damage.

(36:42):
- Alright? So, yeah.
Uh, the second, the firstguy you hit, he's, uh,
bleeding from the ear fromthe solid kick that you,
uh, landed on him.
And what you actually did. What you, you did, you did kind
of a, a spinning roundhouse.
So you brought your footup through this guy's face
and you brought it backdown on the guy behind you.

(37:03):
So you kind of did, you know, so
- I got him with a walkerTexas ranger. Yeah.
- And, uh, got it.
And the, the guy, the guy thattook the brunt of the brunt
of it, the first guy, he'sbleeding from the ears now
and he's looking a little bit dazed.
The other guy's, uh,pretty looks fairly hurt
too, but not as bad.
- Did you know that when Walker,
Texas Ranger premiered in France,

(37:25):
the French surrendered to Chuck Norris?
- Oh, geez. Did, did you knowChuck Norris is the only man
to ever beat a man todeath with his own corpse
- .
- Um, all right. AlanAileen, it is your turn
- Going to stealth behindwhere I, where I am on the map.

(37:45):
Stealth behind the guythat's right behind me.
And that is a 12th.
- All right, let me,- Can I get away with that?
- Uh, I have to roll.'cause they actually have,
they actually haveperceptions of their own.
Okay. Um, you think you'restealthing behind him,
but you are watching ashis eyes are following you

(38:06):
and he turns and kind of looks at you
as you're trying to get around him.
- Okay. Gonna whack him with my hammer.
- Okay. , go aheadand roll an attack. Roll.
- Uh, there we go. 22- A 22 will hit

(38:29):
- Three.
- All right. So you, you, uh,get tired of trying to stealth
behind this guy as he turns
and wa looks at you just witha confused look on your face.
You pull out a hammer, yousmack him in the knee real hard
- And,- And he's dead.
- No , but he'slike, ow. That was my knee.

(38:53):
Uh, any bonus actions?
- I don't think I have any.
- Well, uh, to, if youwant to inspire anybody,
that is a bonus action. Oh,
- That's true.
- Is that magical?- Uh, not in the context of what
- I- Actually, no.
Yes. I will say if she decidesto inspire, I will treat it

(39:14):
as the ar as arcana
- Going to go.
No, on that one. . Okay.
- metagame.- I wasn't planning on doing it anyway.
- Sure you weren't.- All right. Poo it is your turn.
- Alright. First off, oops, sorry.

(39:34):
First off, I would like torage. Of course you would
- Raging with a needle in hand.
- Oh, yes. - And then I, uh,take my grade X and my hand.
That I, well,
- Yeah, I was, I wasabout to say that's a,
that's a two handed weapon, sir.
- I take my hand ax and um, I'll go ahead

(39:58):
and attack the, uh, the, the main guy.
The orange, the orange guy.
- Alright. The captain.Mm-Hmm. .
- Ooh. Um,
does a 19 hit?
- A 19 does hit- Great. And this is just with my hand X.

(40:19):
So fortunately that's a D six.
So that's I
eight damage on that.
- So he reaches, uh, hereaches up the block,
but it just glances off
and you, it you lodge itin his forearm. So, uh,
- And then I, I'm gonna take my other hand

(40:40):
that has the needle in it
and come down for hislike, neck area with it.
- Okay. We're gonna treatthat like a dagger. Yeah. Um,
- So just like a, a d six or a D four.
- It's gonna be a D four. Yeah.
- Just sounds like a needleless attack.
- Okay.- Needleless attack

(41:02):
- Is this thing- On? I heard you.
- Is- This thing on 1111 Hello?
- 11 to hit? Yeah. Um, thatactually is going to miss.
Yeah.
- Just because we didn't laugh
doesn't mean we didn't get it.
. You see? 'causeit's a needle and I, yeah.
And a Steve Stack

(41:25):
- Or, all right, so nowwe have the bandits turn.
Oh wait, no, it's Gareth'sturn. Durp Gareth.
- Now I'm joining the Bandits. Forget it.
- . Oh, it's Smokey's
- Turn.
- Had enough of thisrighteous paladin nonsense.

(41:45):
- . I cut theneedle off of his hand.
Um, all I have my, uh, ax and shield out
and I will, um, can I,
can I talk to the guy and,and wait for my action?
Do more a defensive action
- If that's what, if you want.
- That's what I'm going to do. Alright.

(42:07):
Can I say to, I say tohim, you have a choice.
You can fare as well as the others.
Or you can be the survivor that tells us
what we need to know.
- Um, okay, go ahead androll in. Intimidation.
Check on that.
- Ooh, a nine.- Alright.

(42:30):
- He's shaking in his boots. Yeah.
- What do I roll that'sgonna probably be a will,
- Maybe just one boot.
- He looks at you and hejust, he's like, ,
you are clearly outclassed in this fight.
- How much damage does mybattle ax do if I hit them
with the flat of it?

(42:50):
- Um, same amount. You,
we would just consider it as non-lethal.
- Okay. That's what I'm gonna do.
- All right. So go ahead and roll that.
Oh, 20 one's definitely gonna hit.
- There we go. 12.- 12. Uh, yeah.
So that's, uh, so
unlike everybody else, youdrove this guy completely down

(43:14):
on with that strike.
Uh, he is laying unconsciouson the forest floor also
with blood pouring out hisears because you hit him hard.
.
- Okay?- So he is unconscious.
- All right.- Any movement

(43:34):
or well movement doesn't really matter
'cause we're going theater to the mind.
Uh, any bonus actions?
- Um, no.
I'll just, uh, take a bonusaction just to make sure
that I'm aware of my surroundings
and no one's coming up behindme or anything like that.
- Okay.- Is there a perception or I don't know,
- Uh, that well, that, that would,
that would be a per doing something like

(43:55):
that would be considered an action.
So, uh, not really. Sorry.
- Can't, okay. Well, I'll just,I'll just keep an eye open.
That's my, that's my concern. .
- All right, now it's the bandits.
Uh, because there's onlythree who are currently left
standing of the regular bandits.
- The regulars. Okay, so there'smore than, okay. Nevermind.

(44:18):
- Um, so stumble foot,
does an 11 hit you?
Nope. Does a 21 hit you?
- You know, a 21 hits me.- I'm just saying
- ,- You asked me
ridiculous questions like that too.

(44:39):
Uh, you take four points ofslashing damage as the one
that was standing behind youthat took the lesser amount
of damage comes up and slicesdown your back with hisar
- T butt A scratch.
- - Eile does
a 18 hit you?
- Oh yes.- You take, uh,

(45:02):
four points of slashingdamage as he swings down
and just try just togolf at you with hisar.
- Oof.- And you catch it across the arm.
- Ow that must have hurt.
- And now it is the, it got better

(45:23):
Bandit captain's merely a flush wound.
Uh, now it's the banditcaptain's turn. So,
okay, so Poo does a 24 hit you

(45:47):
- Just barely.
- Okay. Uh, you take
eight points of slashing damage.
Does a eight hit you?
- No. An eight does not.- Okay.
And then does

(46:08):
- Actually those slashing damage,
- Yep.
So you, it gets halvedbecause you are raging.
Does a 18 hit you?
- Uh,- Yep.
- All right.- Oh, what does this fell doing?
- He gets multi, he gets three attacks.
- Good. I'm glad I'm rightnext to him. ,

(46:29):
- You're the one who putsyourself there, .
Uh, so being as he missed thesecond time with the simar,
he pulls a dagger out andstabs you in the gut with it.
Oh. Uh, you take, uh,
seven points of piercing damagereduced to, we'll say four
points because you are raging. He goes,

(46:53):
- Ha, looks like I waspoking the bear then.
. That's not funny.It hurt. It's kind of funny.
Almost as funny as Steve'sjoke earlier. .
Now what? Come on.
- Who's Steve?- He's
- Not for Nona.
Steve.

(47:13):
- Oh. Uh, you don't hear Steve.
That's just be Poo is reverting
to a couple episodes in the very beginning
whenever some reason hecould hear me. .
- Okay. Or bog, it is your turn.
- I am- Going to come to Poo's Aid

(47:35):
and I'm going to sayfriends are friends forever.
- And if the Lord issthe Lord of them ,
- That would be the Steve.
It's Steven.
- That's a what?- That that,
didn't a Steven sing that song?
- No. - No. And Michael W.Smith Sangs that song. Oh,

(47:55):
- Curtis Chap, they sounded alike.
Steven Curtis Chapman andMichael W. Smith sounded alike.
- Saddle it up. I wasjust gonna reference that
they got a trail to blaze.
Whoa. It's not,
you got amazing Grace.
Everybody's saying it.

(48:18):
- . Okay. I, uh,
- I, I only, I only knowthe Mortification version.
What was that Orach? I know.
We just, we just steppedall over your term.
I I do apologize. When someone references,
when someone referencesthe great Adventure, it's,
it's like, it's like singingCome sale away by Stick.
It's just something yougotta go with. .

(48:39):
- I, I'm, I'm, I'm gonnado two handed long sword.
All right. This guy,
um, a rolled a 15. Yeah,
- That's definitely gonnahit. Go ahead and roll. Damage
- Four plus 4, 8, 8- Points.
Oh, damage.

(48:59):
- And I'm going to attackhim again. That would be 17.
- Uh, that hits.- Oh yes.
And I, uh, rolled a seven plus four 11.
- Okay. Pooh. So Orba,
who had been teasing youearlier today, comes up to you
and is like our friendsfor friends forever.
And then he just come, just starts to wreck

(49:23):
this bandit captain that'sin front of you. Oh.
- Oh, Bob, the way I thoughtyou did, that was very nice.
Thank you for being there for me.
- You're welcome.- I'll be there for you.
I see what you did there,Josiah, uh, stumble foot.

(49:44):
It is your turn.
- Alright. I'm gonnalook at, uh, these two,
um, bandits.
I'm fighting and I'm gonnaglance over at the leader.
And I'm gonna say, I, I have no desire
to hurt you any more than we already have.
Do your yield. Your boss, your boss over there.

(50:05):
He, he's not looking so great.
And, uh, my boy behind me there,
pretty sure he alreadyknocked your friend down.
Do you yield?
- Uh, go ahead and roll a,
- Uh,- There there's elements of persuasion and

(50:26):
- Intimidation.
- Intimidation on this.
I'll let you choose whichone you wanna roll here.
- Well, they're equally not great.
So I, I'll choose intimidation, right?
- Intimidation,- . Yeah. Persuasion.
- I should have used persuasion last time.
- Um, I rolled a 12.- Uh,

(50:49):
- Well, he rolled a two.
So which one were you talking to?
The one that's closest to you.
- I'm, I'm talking to thetwo that are closest to me.
I'm, I'm trying to con I'm,I'm kind of, I I think Steve
and I were kind of of the same mind.
I was gonna do this anyway, but, you know, based on kind of
our religious beliefs, you know, um,

(51:11):
- It,- It behooves us not to kill these guys.
So, okay. Okay.
You know, defendingourselves is one thing,
but I I wanna offerthem a, a chance to, uh,
escape with their lives. Yeah.
- Sentian, human beings. I just,
- I just had the dumbest ideaand I'm still gonna do this.
So, okay, so
- the last time said,
Curtis Chapman comesoutta the words .

(51:35):
- So the one one looksat the other and he goes,
- Did you hear that Sam Wise?
They are, they're right.
- And the other, andthe other one looks back
and goes, yes, master Frodo
- Born- Here.
Looks like he's down for the count.
- We need to get out of here.
- And they start torun off into the woods.

(51:57):
- The one where he gets sued. Number two,
- .
- Tolkien's dead. Sir, if I can get
by a corpse, I wanna see that
- His estate is alive and well.
Yes. Yes. It's
- His name is John Hard.
He lives in

(52:18):
- Very- Far away from all
of us. So don't come looking for us.
- It's my tip. Actually,- I live fairly near Eric,
so I'm just saying,
- Go on Eric,- Save yourself.
- .- So that took two people off the map.
Um, so good job with that stumble foot.

(52:38):
Do you have any bonus actions or movement?
- Uh, I have movement,so I will move over here
to the leader and, um, I willbonus action, patient defense.
And I'll raise my eyebrows out
and say, you cruise getting smaller,
you should probably leave.

(52:58):
- He looks back at you and heis just like, that just means,
ah, I'm, I'm turning into or bug here.
Well, I gotta find my voice again.
- . Well, that- Very aggressive or bug. Well
- That just means there's gonnabe more, more booty for me.
- Not if we kick your booty.- ,

(53:19):
- Eileen, it is your turn.
- Okay. I,
- I am going to acrobat jump up on top
of the guy and whack himwith the hammer again.
- Stop.- Knock some said to him.

(53:39):
So does the 16 get me at least like,
like standing on him insome way, shape or form?
- Here? Here, here's what happens. Aileen.
Uh, you climb,
you ever see the cat climbup someone's clothes?
- Yes. - You do this to this,uh, to the six foot bandit.
You just climb up his clothes
and you end up just real quickly too.

(54:01):
And you end up on his shoulders and ahead
and roll your, uh, goahead and roll your hammer.
- 16. And - Actually I'mgonna give you, uh, advantage.
So the 21, uh, so go ahead and roll Damage
- One.
- Sad. I'm gonna let you re-roll that
'cause that was too coolof a maneuver to uh,

(54:22):
- Oh, I'm gonna really roll it.
- Yeah, that'd probably be best.
I've never two nat ones in arow. Dude. Seriously? That's
- Roll 20 for you.
- Nah,- The dice algorithms are jacked in this
thing, man. They're not good.
- Well, apparently mydice hate me as well. Two.
- Yeah, but you got a plus four on that.

(54:42):
So that's actually six.
Um, yeah, you smacked him on the dome
and as you do that, you, you watch,
he gets a bloody nose likeyou smacked him on the head
so hard that he, he has a bloody nose
and he is not looking great.
Alright. Nobody's done any magic.
So I feel like this wildmagic thing has not gone well.

(55:03):
- I mean, I, I can't do any magic.
What if I use my thing again?
- Well, who po it isactually your turn right now.
- All right. Just somemagic. I'm gonna try .
Is this your card? .
So I tried to pull the X thatI got into this guy's arm.

(55:23):
Uhhuh, is it still, is it, I mean,
can I get it outta there easily? Yeah,
- You pull, you pull itout with a resounding.
- Okay, good. Ew.- .
- Uh, and then I, um,
I will go ahead and try to, I'm going to,
I'm gonna look at him and I'mgonna point my, my, my, my,

(55:48):
my needle outta mine.
I said don't make me. Well,I'm gonna wave it around. Don't
- Make me point this thing at you.
- And then you pointed it at him.
- Uh, yeah, I pointed at him.
- uh, roll the D 100.
I, I I literally gave anuclear bomb to a 6-year-old.

(56:11):
- That would be a 91.
- 91. Um,
- Everything explodes.
- Okay. So with that 91, allof a sudden your hand starts
to tingle and youregained four hit points.

(56:33):
- Great. Thank you .
Um, that didn't do whatI thought it was going to
- Do.
And then I take my axe
and I just sl hit him upsidethe head with it. Okay?
- And - There's more wherethat came from. ,
- Go ahead and roll.
Go ahead and roll your, uh, attack for
- Your ax. Uh, 24

(56:53):
- That's gonna hit,- Uh, eight damage
- Actually.
Uh, Josiah.
- Yeah,- Go ahead
and add another four points ofhealing to yourself as well.
- Okay? Oh, 'cause it double, double
- 'cause it doubles
because of the previousone. I forgot about that.
- Well look at that.- You're back up to full.

(57:16):
All right, Gareth, it is your turn.
- So who's still up and moving?
- You have this guy here, the one
that Aileen is smacking around,
and then you have thecaptain that is getting, uh,
ganged up on teams.

(57:37):
Yep.
- Okay. Um, how well doesthe, the one up here look?
Does he look like he's on his left legs?
- Or sorry, I'm, I'm punchingmy microphone stand. .
Um, he is looking rough.
Like he is bleeding from,he's bleeding about the eyes,

(57:57):
nose, and mouth area.
- Okay, - Garrett, he's kindof laid into him a bit, right?
- I will head up to his general vicinity
and um, give him a little talking
to drop your weapons.

(58:19):
Now that's gonna hurt his ears.
- Go ahead. Drop his weapons. Go ahead
and roll that intimidation check.
,
- Can that be a persuasion?
- Uh, no. That the wayyou presented to that,
that was definitely a, uh, intimidation.
- Drop your weapons please. .

(58:42):
I drop mine too. , Irecommend you drop your weapons.
, if I drop my weapon,
can it hit him on the top of the head?
There you go. That's
- Well, really wants a kill- .
No, I don't. I'm enjoying the acrobatics
- Lead, the blood thirsty Bard.
- I wrote a 12.- Um, you actually,

(59:04):
because he rolled a four.
Um, so,
but he, he actuallylooks a little bit like
he didn't understand you.
He's kind of staggering around,
but the weapon, hisuh, his simar just kind
of falls in into the groundand it sticks into the ground.
Um, and he's just like,

(59:31):
- I may have hit him a bit too hard.
.
- Um, is that your turn, Gareth?
- Um,- Because you have an action still,
or if you don't want to doyour action, you don't have to.
- Can I, um, can I grab himin a way that's going to,

(59:53):
um, sort of like a grapple?
- Yeah, you can grapple. That's gonna be a,
uh, strength check
- Pile driver- 19.
It's just, it's just a to hold him,

(01:00:14):
- Right?
But that's, that's how,that's how grapples work.
Uh, yeah, you, uh, youput him in, you, you kind
of grapple him in, in intoa position of sub dual.
So you got that going for you.
Um, alright, which heis currently grappled
and dazed and you passedthat check on him.

(01:00:38):
So he is, hi. He's gonnanot do anything on his turn.
However, that bandit captain,he's pretty stubborn,
um, with stumble foot there.
Actually I'm gonna rollto see who catches this.

(01:00:58):
- Alright.
- Orba, does an eight hit you?- No,
- I am assuming that a 22 does though.
- Possibly-

(01:01:18):
- Glancing blow.
- So he, the captain turns around
and, uh, slashes across your, uh,
exposed facial area
and does seven points ofslashing damage on you.
- I block it with my teeth.- Um,
- No you don't .
Um, and then he pulls out a dagger

(01:01:43):
and that's definitely gonna hit
and finds the soft spot in your underarm
and jabs that dagger into yourarmpit for another six points
of piercing damage.
- Ooh.
Ow. That's not nice.
- And he goes, give me what we want.

(01:02:03):
- And, uh, you know,- This doesn't have to continue.
- No one touches my Pitts
- And or is actually your turn now.
- Ho ho ho-
- Create the green- Giants with us.
- Yeah, I, yeah, I'mgonna attack 'em again

(01:02:24):
with the, with with the
two hands.
And I am trying to do non-lethal though,
since I'm taking a note from the way
that the other people have beendealing with things around.
And I'm trying to rememberthat I'm a Paladin
- Submitting to the peer pressure,

(01:02:46):
- But I really wanna, one of- Us
- I really wanna know of us,knock him out a little bit.
- One, know of us,
- Gobble gobble.
We accept you. We accept you. One of us,
- Let's see, rolled a 12 plus
four. 16.
- 16, yep. That hits- Prime Doll

(01:03:11):
- .
- I don't, I wasn't giventhe gift of interpretation.
You're gonna have to tellme what you just said there.
- Heim doll.- Oh, I see, I see. Okay.
- You gotta blur it all together,
otherwise you get sued again.
- .- So

(01:03:33):
I have seven plus.
Oh yeah. I was raging. No, I'm just joking.
- You don't rage, bro.- , uh, 11.
- I mean, he could rage, itjust wouldn't necessarily do
anything for him, right?
- Uh, so you, you make, I I didn't hear
how you, how you attacked it.
Him, were you using your sword or not?
- Yes. Yes. Two handed.

(01:03:55):
- All right. And you hithim with the flat or the,
or the actual blade?
- Um, I, I'll say withthe, with the hilt of it.
- All right. So poo you
or poo, you see Orba swingup with the hilt of his sword
and crack this guy right in the nose
and you hear a audible crunch.
Oh, as blood begins togout from his nostrils

(01:04:17):
as he has visibly had his nose broken.
- A nice one. Oh, ger.Wait, I'm still attacking.
I'm a paladin. I get two.
- You get two? All right, let'sgo with the second attack.
- Uh, does an 11 hit?- It does not. He, uh,
- I was trying to slap him with the,

(01:04:39):
with the flat side that time. With the
- Flat side?
Yeah. Okay. So as, as youbring it around like a, like a,
uh, cricket bat, hebrings his, uh, guitar up
and just kind of blocksit with his own blade.
He's like, you'll not be doing that again.
Uh, stumble foot your turn.

(01:05:01):
- Okay. I'm gonna look at him
and say, last chance, do you yield?
- Are you trying to convince him to,
or are you just throwing it out there?
- I'm trying to convince him to
- Throw the persuasion.
- All right, .

(01:05:22):
Well, that's a natural one.
- I'm not even gonna roll this.
- , which brings my score to two.
- He, he just starts laughing at you.
Uh, because, because how thishappened was you looked at him
and you're like, lastchance, do you yell or not?

(01:05:42):
Except you got a little bitof a snot bubble hanging out
your nose as you say that.
And he just starts laughing at you.
- All right, well then Iguess I'm gonna hit him
and then I'm gonna hithim again and again.
- Fling the snot on him.Oh, are you, are you go?
Are you doing a flurry of blows?
- Yeah, I'm gonna punch him.I mean, I gotta hit 'em.

(01:06:03):
I gotta have to attack first. All right.
Fucking flurry of blows.Uh, that'll be a 23 to hit.
- Um, just barely. Just, just, just slightly
- Just barely hits.
Mm-Hmm, .Yeah. A fury. Snot .
So that first attack, Ooh, maxdamage that does eight points
of bludgeoning damage.

(01:06:23):
- Oof a doa. Alright.
You definitely rung his bell on. And then
- Are- He still standing?
- I got a, um, a dirty 20
and a 22 to hit on myextra two attacks. Both,
- Both hit- Surprisingly.
Um, so that would be 12 points

(01:06:46):
of bludgeoning damage. 12 more points.
- Okay. In order to, uh,avoid trademark infringement,
how would you like this to be done?
- Um, man,
so just like a little Mac.
'cause I'm, I'm a dwarf, so

(01:07:06):
I'm a little bit shorter than this guy.
So, you know, I, I flashbrightly a couple times
and then, um, I, uh, I,uh, do kind of, you know,
that little jumping uppercut that little Mac does
and punch out and, uh,
and he can, he can followthe ground however he wants.

(01:07:27):
I'm sure at least one toothgets knocked out of his mouth.
- All right. So what you guys see,
Gareth is just rocking thisdude's face, so you can tell,
not Gareth, I'm sorry, stumble,
foot's just rocking this dude's face.
And, uh,
- Bye-Bye.
You,
- You can tell that, uh,he is getting frustrated.

(01:07:48):
And then finally you watchhim kind of crouch down
and do this double crouch thing,
and he jumps up with this upper cut,
and you hear this as he goes up to hit him
- - And catches him under the chin.
And his te and his mouthclinches together, you watch
as his front two teeth chip and break
because his mouth getsslammed shut so hard

(01:08:08):
and he's, he just fliesbackwards and you hear this
and it's like he's flyingbackwards in slow motion ,
and then he bounces offthe b bounces off the
ground and you hear a
- Ko,- I'm gonna,
- I'm gonna kind of do,give him one of these
and dust off my hands
and say, well, that takes care

(01:08:30):
that I think we need to be on our way.
- And, uh, I try to dust off my hands too.
- Okay. I need you toroll a D 100, please.
- Yes, sir. Oh
- God.
This is like when I gave thedeck of many things to Ethan,
Eric, this is, this is just a bad idea.
- Uh, 85. Yeah.
- Okay. Um, so

(01:08:54):
those of you who are wa whoare watching this happen as
poo claps his hands, suddenlyhe blinks out of existence.
Oh, and he reappears over here by Gareth,
and then he blinks out of existence,
and then he appears over here by himself.

(01:09:19):
Who? And he keeps blinking in
and out of existence aroundyou for the next minute,
and then it kind, then it stops again.
- Oh, that ho. Whoa.
Hey, use your hammer. Yougotta hit him on the head.

(01:09:39):
Oh, you, you all were jumpingaround from here to there
and everywhere it whack whacka poo
wh whack order.
- That is a game- I would not play
- .
- Good job, everyone.
I, I think, I think Ishould probably, I try not

(01:10:02):
to do anything with this
- And I wave it around.
- I'm not doing this all night. Dude.
- . No, I'm, I wasn't,that wasn't for you to do.
- I think that may be wise.
- He waves it around justenough so nothing happens. Yeah,
- Exactly. Yeah. There
- We go.

(01:10:23):
- Me, me thinks the DM shouldbe careful who he gives, um,
potentially extremely powerful magic items
that do random thingsto just saying. You, you
- Were, you were about to call it
game breaking, weren't you?
- Uh, no, it's not game breaking.
I have a feeling I knowwhat it's modeled after.
- And then a mouse comes out of the woods

(01:10:43):
and pulls the needle out of his hand.
- .- That's hilarious.
- .- Alright.
Um, I believe we wereon our way to somewhere.
Did we want to talk tothese people at all,
or should we just leavethem scattered around?
- Oh, well that one over thereis pretty much incoherent.

(01:11:08):
- The one I hit. I thinkwe should question him.
- Great. Well, uh, let's tie him up.
- Yes.- So who's gonna tie him up?
- Was- There
- ?
I've got this. No dear.Maybe you should just down

(01:11:30):
- Stumble foot will tie him up.
- Yes. I think I will sitdown for a little bit.
- So as you tie him up
and then tie the knot on the,uh, rope, I would like you
to make a survival checkfor that knot, please.
- Okay. Oh, well, this willbe interesting. Survival.
I rolled a six.

(01:11:50):
- Okay. So you tie him up.
And I'm as This is you,
you guys are gonna bequestioning the one who, uh,
you knocked out Steve?
- Yeah.- Okay.
So he, he starts to come to,
after a little while, he'slike, what's this then?
- Where are you from?- Oh, I'm from the woods.

(01:12:15):
That's where I live.
- And why do you pick
on strangers like us?
- Oh,- Well, that's how we, that's how we, uh,
make a little scratch on the side.
You know, you gotta feed yourself. Where
- Is your family?
- Oh,- I don't got no family.

(01:12:38):
My family say my, myfamily's traded me in, uh,
to slavery when I was a child.
That's why I got in with this lot.
- Hmm.- Perhaps we should give
them some food.
- How many of them? How, how many are you?

(01:12:59):
Well, was we met five here.
- Huh? It was just the five.
But, uh, I see that, uh,you knocked down Gandalf, so
I don't know where, uh, Idon't know where, uh, Sam Wise
and Frodo went off too,
but, uh, apparently it's just me. And,
- Uh, oh, they ran away.

(01:13:19):
- Oh, did they? Now?- Hey, they run off.
- Well then, I guessit's just the two of us.
But, uh, I see you've donea number on, uh, you've
- Merry and, and Christmas,
- You, you've done a,you've done a number on Mr.
Bill back there.
- Yes. But he is not dead. Oh,
- No.
Not dead yet. ,

(01:13:43):
- If you'd like to join us.
- Hey,- We ring this bell.
- I'm sorry, what was that? I'm gonna look
- At, I'm gonna look atStubble Foot's looking at
Gareth. Kind of like what?
- .- They're slaves.
- They're, they're not real slaves.

(01:14:04):
- They were slaves.
They're trying to maketheir way in the world
with water deep the way it is.
They can't really beblamed for the choices
that have been thrust upon them.
But now we have an opportunity
to give them a different chance in life.
- Yeah. Have, have some honey,
- I sat down one of my pots of honey.

(01:14:27):
- That's smarty. Niceof you, Mr. Bug bear.
- Oh, I'm not a bugbear.
It's, uh, it's just that,that I, I'm actually a human
- And I, I, I look back at the others
and give them a, a wink,
- Uh, make a per make a persuasioncheck with disadvantage.

(01:14:49):
No, actually, this is a deception. Check.
- Uh, two,- No, roll again. Deception.
- Uh, it, it's still not gonnabe great. Deception is wrong.
. I don't thinkit's gonna be, oh, yeah.
With deception. That would be a one.
- Oh, well, he, he justlike, he's like, even better,
he say he is like, right.

(01:15:09):
Uh, a human.
Well, that's, that'svery, uh, that's very,
uh, kind of you Mr.
Human.
- Yes, that's right.- Well,
- Are you, are you slaves now
or have you, have you escaped from your
um, oh, no. Your master.

(01:15:30):
- No, we, we, we're no longer slaves.
We're about as free as you can be.
But, uh, you know, there's otherthings that aren't so free.
Like, you know, food, shelter.
- Right. And so find an honestwork was not an option, eh.
Rubbing people on the highway.
That's, that's the best option you've got.

(01:15:51):
- Well, you've got no onetelling you what to do now.
- So you're saying youare your own deity. Oh,
- Deity is, I don't got much use for them.
'cause they don't got much use from me.
- Well, you're choosingwho lives and dies.
Who has and who doesn't.

(01:16:12):
- No, I don't make that choice.
We just, we just simply allow people
to make that choice for themselves.
Give us the money and you can live.
Don't, and you might die.
We don't make that choice for them.
- So that's the way we should do it here.
- My friends. I think the safest place
for them would be with us.

(01:16:33):
Who knows? But we may need an extra arm
or two, an extra weaponor two to turn a battle.
As you say that we leave them here.
- As you say that, theone you're talking to,
the ropes fall off of him
and he begins to sprint towards the woods.
- I don't think he wants
to come with us. Howdoes he take the honey
- ?
Yes. He takes the honey.

(01:16:54):
- Well, I guess I shouldhave checked that knot.
- It's been nice talking with you. Bye-Bye
- .
Uh, you do have the heavilycon you do have the heavily
concussed bandit who is babblinggibberish that Steve has.
- IIII wa I wave at him ashe's, as he is going away.

(01:17:15):
- Bye-Bye bye-Bye.
- Is anyone gonna chase, chase that one?
- I I waved at him.- Yes, I know that
- . Oh,
- Oh, I see what you're- Trying to honestly. Roll the D
- 100.
Gar Roll the D 100. That'swhat you wanted to do?

(01:17:35):
- Yeah. It just, it'sso much fun. It's an 80.
- It's an 80.- Yeah.
- This isn't exactly how it's written,
but it's the way I'm gonna do it.
So as you wave to him, allof a sudden he blinks out
and he appears on theother side of the clearing
where you're at and runsacross it again.
- ,- But keeps

(01:17:59):
happening over and over. Well,
- No, no, he's not. He, he
- Didn't cast Blink.
You teleported him isbasically what happened.
- . Oh, he's again,similar to what happened.
Um, so does he have to run?
Is he like running backtowards us now then?
- Yeah. 'cause he's just run,
he was running in a straight line.
He had no concept that heteleported. He had a way of Right.

(01:18:23):
- Changed your mind. He looks at,
- He stops.
He looks at you all confused. He's like,
- What- Devil is this?
- ? Oh, it's just, we not,
how far away from us is he?
- Oh, he's probably standing like
seven feet in front of,in front of you guys.
Just he's confused. Now

(01:18:43):
- Let this be a lesson.
Okay. I'm Change your ways.
Ooh, .
Um, alright, um, stumble.Foot's gonna try and grab him.
I guess. ,
- I am sure you had lotsof stuff planned for us.

(01:19:04):
And this was
- Not it,- Not it.
- Let's just bring everybody with us.
Everybody we meet .It's a party, right?
I didn't wanna I didn't wanna haul a whole
group of people with us.
Time is of the essence. Stumble foot.
If you're gonna, I'mjust gonna slow us down.
- If you're, if you're gonnamake a grab at him, you need

(01:19:25):
to make that strength check, please.
- Okay. Oh, I rolled poorly.
Uh, that's gonna be an eight. Yeah.
- He rolled a 17. So he,he, uh, Heisman trophies you
with the honey in his other hand.
Uhhuh andruns the other direction.
- Okay. Uh, IUB was gonna say,oh no, he is getting away.

(01:19:48):
. So I really don't
think he wants to be with us.
- You are left in the clearing
with a heavily concussed bandit,
and you can choose whatyou want to do. Stumble
- Foot's, stumble,
foot's gonna cast cure woundson the heavily concussed
bandit, and we will healhim for five points.

(01:20:09):
- All right. So, yeah.
He, he, he looks halfway to healthy again.
He is just like, um, thanks.
- Let's give him some food too. Great.
- Here's some food. Be niceto people. Be on your way.
Remember, we let you leave with your life,
- Right?

(01:20:30):
- Well,-
and he wanders off into the woods.
- Alright,- Well, let's go,
- Let's go where we, we were going before.
A to fix
what was wrong or something like that.

(01:20:52):
Let's go shut the door
- And time.
It does sound like a good plan.
- Okay. So you guys
proceed onward
and you don't have any moreencounters for that day.

(01:21:13):
It's about a four day,if I remember right.
It was about a four dayjourney to Dagger Ford.
So you guys have to make camp again.
You're about halfway there.
And, uh, you guys have to make camp.
Is any, are you guys, are youguys gonna do a watch order
or you just got, you guysjust gotta throw caution.

(01:21:33):
The, when everybody sleeps all at once,
- I'll take the first, uh, first thing
- For- Watch.
Okay? Second.
- I feel like thingsmight be more safe if we
just let poo sleep
- .
- That seems like a sound plan.

(01:21:53):
- Wiser words have never been spoken.
- Okay? Uh, I'm gonna have all
of you guys roll yourperception checks all at once.
See if anything happensduring your watches
just to kind of speed this along.
'cause I just got handed some information,
- Not eight 20.
- Okay? Uh, nothinghappens during your watch.
Uh, nothing too exciting. Anyway, um,

(01:22:19):
- Fifteens for me and Alan.
- Okay? Um, you guys see, uh, some
indigenous, uh, wildlife walk by,
but nothing that poses a threatto the, to you guys as well.
Basically, it's a, it's, it'sa non, for you guys, it's a,

(01:22:39):
uh, non-eventful night.
Although, although, uh, Gareth,
when you fall asleep, you begin to dream
and a familiar four-leggedcreature steps out of the,
the clearing in your dream .

(01:23:02):
He goes, well, if heain't my friend there,
Gareth, how are you doing?
- Hello, keeper.
- So, I, I'm glad, I'mglad we're on a, uh,
first name basis, althoughI don't really know
what you would call me witha second name, I suppose.
Uh, so I imagine you're probably

(01:23:25):
fairly confused at the moment.
- Yes.- Uh, well, I'll tell you what, um,
I'll let you ask me a few questions.
I'll see what I am ableto clear up for you.
- What is the situation with the needle

(01:23:46):
in poo's hand,
- The needle in poo's hand?
Like in what way? Do you mean
- When he does certain things,
certain other things seemto happen? Oh, ,
- You, you understand whatthat needle is, don't you?
- Perhaps not fully.
- Well, you know whereyou got it from, right?

(01:24:09):
The Yes. The loom of time.
- Yes. - Yeah. That needleweaves the fabric of reality.
So, I mean, if you're just gonna wave it
around all willy-nilly, I mean,
it's gonna affect the realitythat's you're weaving in.
You understand what I'm saying?
- I think so, yes. Isthere a way for us to

(01:24:31):
ameliorate the effects?
- Well, I mean, not really.
I, you, you just, youkind of change, you kind,
it's an instrument to change reality.
So, I mean, it's kind ofthose, it is what it is
sort of situation.
I mean, granted, you couldprobably do it with the needle,
but you know, unless you know what, uh,

(01:24:52):
unless you know whatyou're doing with it, it,
it could almost be anything,
- Right?
But could we somehow keep it in stasis
or bind his arm to his body
so it doesn't accidentally dothe things that they're doing?
- Well, I mean, if you wannabind his arm to his body,
I mean, that's, you got rope, don't you?

(01:25:14):
- But would that work?- Well, I mean, if he's not waving
around all clac,
I mean, here I thought you'dask me something a little bit
deeper than just about the needle,
but, uh, I mean, if that's the only
thing you got questions about,
- How is my, uh, father's empire doing?
- Oh, that's fine. That's, that's fine.

(01:25:35):
It's, that's not affected by this.
- I've, I know that, butI've been away for two years
and I haven't had anyconversation with them,
- I suppose so, um, you know,
but, uh, you're doing, you'redoing a, you're doing kind
of a, uh, big thing at the moment.

(01:25:56):
Uh, I'll tell, I'll tell you this much.
Uh, what you're doing rightnow is, is very necessary.
Um, there was a, uh,
there was a, uh, do you remember that girl
that I introduced y'all to?

(01:26:19):
I think her name was, Ithink her name was Hojo.
- Yes. The one that was surrounded by a,
some sort of a field.
- Yeah. Yeah. That, that, that, that's the one.
Um, you gotta understand, um,
when I sent y'all overthere, there was a lot of,

(01:26:42):
we'll call 'em laws at play.
Uh, her daddy had broke some of them laws.
And, uh, well, I'll just put it this way.
Y'all are under the law.
I mean, that's just, the lawwas set down a long time ago.
And if that law's broken, there's,

(01:27:04):
there's consequences to that.
Now, you can't get away from payment due
for breaking the law, but you can
affect what is called a
transfer, if that makes sense.

(01:27:26):
- It does.- And,
and so when that, whenthat little girl, when
that little girl won the contest,
that affected the transfer.
Now I,
I am not bound by anything
except for myself.

(01:27:49):
However, if I set law
down, if that this, this isgonna get kind of complex,
then that creates a certain fate.
And I believe you met the fates.
Now, now, that is who the debt is to,

(01:28:14):
is those fates.
And if the fate,
and if fate wheels a certainperson's cord to be cut,
well, the cord's cut.
I can't do much about that.
So something's gonna happen,
and there's not

(01:28:37):
much I can do about that. So
- Would there be a way tohave someone take the blame
for that instead of the personwho actually did it, someone
to stand in as a ransom?
- Hmm. - I see what you'redoing there. I miss de Gareth.
Uh, it's very clever.

(01:28:57):
I I, I know that you gotyour hands on the book.
What I can say is, uh,someone is going to take
that blame, but,
you know, I just can't tell you who Now,
do y'all self a favor, make, make the most sense of this, of

(01:29:17):
what you can and try toexplain it to you, to you,
uh, your party.
Because, uh, I'm notdoing this for everybody.
So, and with that, you wake up, alright?
And it is morning time
Erwin wakes up, and it isanother bright shiny day.

(01:29:42):
- Oh, oh, oh, oh.
What a, what a beautifulmorning. It is outside.
Today. I slept wonderfully.I've got all the winks.
- Ah, you a morning bug bear. Who?

(01:30:03):
- Well, um, I, I, I wouldn'tsay I'm particularly sad today,
but, um,
- I see what you did there.
- I do enjoy this time ofday, but yes, the birds

(01:30:23):
and the, the bees
and, oh, honey, I believeI have a smack roll left.
- Can you do me a favorand do it over there?
- I'll do my smack roll over there.
- Thank you.- Okay.
- Remember, do you not likehoney? We let him sleep

(01:30:45):
- Dangerous.
I don't like smack thisearly in the morning.
- Ow. - A little bit of aSMR for everybody out there.
- That's nice. Oh,

(01:31:07):
- Who, who doesn't love mouth noises?
- . All right,
so are you guys gonnabe on your way then, or
- We're on our way.
We're already on our way.
- Well,- As, as we're, as we're traveling,
I would let people know about my dream.
All right. So he accuses you in

(01:31:28):
with his encounter with the keeper.
- You know what, Iwould've asked the keeper.
I would've said keeper.
I put us back where we were before.
That's what I would've said.
I don't think that washis mission this time.

(01:31:50):
Well, the next time you seehim ask if we can go back
and that would solve so much.
Maybe he,
- Maybe he cannot do that.
- Oh, well, he did it
to us the first time he put his
forward. So I would think
- Maybe he, maybe he put your back

(01:32:12):
as close as he possibly could.
- He said something aboutthat, but I don't believe him.
He has shifty eyes.
- . Um, alright,
so as you guys are walkingthrough these woods, uh,
you see a familiar two lines of

(01:32:34):
smoldering ground going through the woods.
- That's sm sling, sm smoldering ground.
- Uh, correct. Uh,
if you remember the carriageride from dagger to water deep.
- Yes. Oh, I've vivid, I remember that.

(01:32:55):
Does it look like it wasgoing about 88 miles per hour?
- Uh, no. But it gives you, it reminds you
of a terrible fantasy moviefrom the eighties that
that, uh, had a, uh, five, five sided blade in it.
- . Oh, these truckslook familiar like that.

(01:33:17):
Dumb. Oh, what was that fellow's name?
The small guy. Eddie, are you
- Talking about our taxi service?
- Oh, yes, that's it.- Oh, bug. You were not there.
You were taking a nap.
- True story. Um,

(01:33:40):
who, go ahead and make a,uh, perception check, please.
Sure.
- Uh, it's a 15 plus something,
- Uh, quite a ways, ways in the distance.
You do see, um, you dosee the carriage just kind
of sitting there with thehorses strapped to it,

(01:34:01):
and a little gnome just kindof bouncing around. Hey,
- Hey, look, that's the fellow there.
Hello? Oh,
Jethro
Jethro.
That's just what I'mgonna throw out there.

(01:34:23):
- I can't remember whatI had named him either.
For the superfan out there. I am so sorry.
I forgot the dude's name. , um,
- We'll fix it in post,- Uh, no, we won't.
. Um, , uh,
we'll, we'll call him Milo. Milo goes,
- Um, who are you talking to?

(01:34:45):
- Oh, oh, I was talking to you, sir.
- Uh, uh, well, um, and myname's, my name is, uh, Milo,
- So, oh,- That's what I said.
- No, you, I distinctlyheard you say jetro.
- That, that that wasa three on deception.
- Yeah,- He's unconvinced.
- Um Oh, oh, Jetro. Yes, yes, yes.

(01:35:08):
I was thinking of your cousin.
- I, I, I don't have a cousin.
- Oh. Oh, that's unfortunate.I'm so sorry to hear that.
- . Um,
was there something I could do for you?
Or did was,
or did you just wanna sayhi while I was out here, uh,

(01:35:28):
picking these mushrooms?
- Oh, no, I was justsaying that I remember
that we rode in your, uh, courage once
- And Yeah.
- Oh, we find ourselves in need of a,
a fast transportation or Right.
Guys, there would be more

(01:35:50):
- Pleasure.
A That's true.
- We're trying to gettoo water deep. Correct.
- Oh, going back to, uh,
going back to that hell hole.
Alright. Um, we're
- Trying to make it list.
Hell Holish.
- Well then, um, oh,- Are we in Erford?

(01:36:11):
- No, you're out in the woods. This is a chance happening.
I'm, I'm pulling some data xmock. Enough for you, Eric.
- Awesome, Ray.
Well, uh, I mean, if youcould get us a deford, um,
we probably could, uh, securepassage from Deford back up

(01:36:31):
to, uh, water deep ourselves.
- You would just be asking me
for transport back to water deep.
Anyway, so, uh, yeah, I couldprobably do it from here.
Uh, uh, how much, uh, let's see here.
Uh, carry the six, uh, 75 gold.
Does that, uh, can you sing that?
- Oh, yes. OBO has lots of gold.

(01:36:55):
- Fine.- Are you gonna put the bill?
Are you gonna put the bill or bog?
- Um, if I have enough,
- He's my, I have, I havea, I have a ton of gold.
Like a ton of gold.
- Yeah, we, we'd let him take a ton.
- I have like 900 gold pieces right now.

(01:37:16):
- .- You're so stingy. I
- Mean, if he's, ifhe's asking me to, then,
then, then I'll pay it.I'll pay it. Actually,
- Actually.
Oh, look. Um, yes. I,I think I have plenty.
- Well, okay. Uh, whoever'spaying me, uh, pay me
and then I'll get you on your way.
- I'll pay 75 gold.

(01:37:37):
- All right. So you guysshuffle into this, uh, carriage.
And with the five of you,it's getting a little bit, uh,
getting a little cramped in there.
But you managed to, uh, pile
- About two of us aren't very big, though.
- This is true. Um,- Three of us
- Aren't very big.
- You, you're just unnaturallyshort though, or bog.

(01:37:58):
So, I mean, , um, that, that, that, that was just
how you rolled out . So just
- Short and wide.
- Yeah. Mm-Hmm. .
So the, uh, carrierstarts to pick up speed.
Um, it is kind of a nauseatingfeeling going from zero to,
um, ludicrous speed.

(01:38:19):
And, um, oh, it's a 50,
it's a little bit nauseating.
Uh, so I'd like y'all togive me a constitution,
say for all y'all. Oh, no. Apparent.
- Apparently I'm gonna walk- 17,

(01:38:40):
- Rolled an eight.
- Oh, okay.
- I also rolled well with a seven.
- Oof.- So the only person who rolled
well was Poo all Pooh.
So everybody, this is allfrom poo's perspective now.
- It's a barama-

(01:39:00):
- .
- Uh, you're sitting in the back
and all of a sudden you watch as the, uh,
facial expressions on everybodyin your party in the back
of this hyper speed wagon starts
to turn a bit sour on them.
- What's, what's going on?
- And as you, as, as you saythat you are in the middle

(01:39:22):
of the biggest pukeparty that you have ever
seen in your life,
- I, I, I'm like, oh,- Oh dear.
They're leaking. They're
- Leaking.
They're leaking.
- Are there windows at least that we could
- Yeah, there's windows.
I mean, that, that's, that it's kind

(01:39:42):
of watching everythinggo hyperspace by you.
It's, it's a sense of,it's a motion sickness
that you guys have presently.
So, uh, but within an hour,
you pull up, go ahead. Longest
- Hour of our lives,-
- .
- I, I try to clean it allup. My, that's a lot of

(01:40:02):
- Stomach acid on the floor.
- I try to clean it all upwith my needle. No, .
- I don't do that. Yeah.
- You got all the information about the,
what the keeper told me about the needle.
So I'm hoping that you're,you know, at least trying to
keep a handle on that.
And so we don't have to like, bind it to your body ,

(01:40:23):
- Because I'm a bear ofvery, very many brains.
Yes.
- Um, but yeah, you're just smearing it
around is all you're doing, Pooh.
So, um, it, it, it'slike trying to wipe it up
with wax paper, basically.
Uh, but you guys get to,uh, you guys get to, uh,

(01:40:44):
- Uh,- The outskirts of water deep.
And Milo comes back and opensthe, uh, opens the door,
and he gets pushed downstreamas he opens the door. And he
- Is like, oh, my gods, what happened in here?
,
- You happened .
- He said he wanted fast,

(01:41:05):
- And so he kind ofwaves his hand. I didn't
- Think we were prepared forthe rapid acceleration .
- So he waves his hands around
and casts press thedigitization and, Mm-Hmm.
, y'all,everything gets cleaned up.
But he's like, Ugh. He's
- Like, fortunately thatwe have to learn that
before we become drivers for the service,

(01:41:25):
because that happens more,
more often than you think it does.
- Oh, I have no idea why .
I feel like you underestimate
how often I think that happens. .
- But, uh, as, as again, uh, if it happens
- As often as he, ifit happens that often,
why were you surprisedwhen you open the door?
- I just wasn't expecting a river. Ugh.

(01:41:48):
Um, but anyway, as, as perusual, I can't drop you off
inside water deep.
'cause, uh, I'd liketo be able to leave it.
So, uh, here you go.
Um, not sure how yougot out the first time,
but hopefully, uh, you're ableto do it again at some point.
Uh, T Lou
- And he takes off with his horses.

(01:42:10):
- Oh, Tolu. Bye-Bye.Good to see you again.
Um, uh, don't
- Wave. It was Milo.
- Oh, Otis. No. Um,- No. Milo.
- Milo. Yes. Good to see you. Myo.
- Yeah. Milo. Hi. Right. Well, let's get back into the city.

(01:42:31):
- Knock dog. What, whattime of, it's probably,
um, what time?
- Um,- Let's see here. It was morning
when you guys woke up.
- Then we walked- For a little bit.
- You walked for a littlebit. Not for very long.
So it's probably still morning time.
- Oh, good.- Probably about 10 in the morning. About

(01:42:52):
- Also, as I recall, ourplan was to go to the tower
and shut the door with this,
- Um, dm.
What I know away for usto get into the city, um,
inconspicuously, especially with the fact

(01:43:12):
that Poo has a giant needleattached to his hand,
which we happen to know,
is something the bad guys are looking for.
- I will say that when the powers
that be took over water deep
after they eliminatedthe, uh, masked lords,
they also eradicated the thieves.

(01:43:32):
The th the local Thieves Guild.
- Sure. - So you guys havebeen utilizing their, um,
underground tunnel system.
All assassin screen.
- Okay.- So yes, you are familiar with how to get
around on the scene.
- Then I'm gonna look at everyone
and I'm gonna say, um,
I don't know a way we canget into the city unnoticed.

(01:43:54):
Follow me.
- He's taking you underground in a game
where the dms been threatening
to throw rocks at you just saying,
- Let's go, let's go.
. I'm ready.
What could be worse thanthe chair parrot ride? Yeah.
.

(01:44:15):
- All right. So you head underground
through the tunnel system.
Where, where are you, whereare you going? Stumble foot.
- I'm gonna go back to the yawning portal.
- Okay. So he leads you.
- Um, since that is my,that is my headquarters.
I've been away for close to a week now.
Um, I need to check back in,

(01:44:36):
make sure everything's still okay.
And then, you know, I thinkmaybe we should powow there
and put together a plan of, uh, attack
because the resistancemight be able to help, um,
you know, in our own way.
- ,- I just had the
dumbest idea, but I'm gonna do it.
- Uh oh. Not again. .- So

(01:44:58):
- You should have a quota ofdumb ideas per gaming session
that you can't go over.
- I agree. Alright.- The one saying that. All right.
That's it. She guys .

(01:45:23):
Y'all mean
- Somebody give Stevesome aloe that burnt me on
- .
.
- Alright, so you get back tothe, he, you, you guys follow
stumble foot throughthese underground tunnels
and you emerge in the, in,
in the office area at the yawning portal

(01:45:47):
and Nan's there and, uh,
- Wants to threaten the barkeeper again.
Anyone? No,
- Don't threaten Durin.
He's a nice man.
- That's one way to put it. .
- And he is like, ah,- You're back.
- You got some Pepto. Hey,- We're back.

(01:46:07):
- .- We made it.
- Um, well, uh, we, we,
we have a, we have some problems
- That's so unexpected.
- Of course we do.- I'm shocked. This is my shock face.
.
- Um, we, we got what's- Good then? Devon,

(01:46:28):
- We got news that, uh, that uh, uh,
Christopher has sent for, uh, Damien
to lead some reinforcementsover the, uh, cloud peaks.
- Okay. - Um, we need to, weneed to, we need to send, uh,
some of our, uh, some of ourtroops to, uh, shut down the,

(01:46:52):
uh, pass, uh, through the, through the Cloud Peaks. Um,
- Wait, wait, wait.
You're saying Christopheris in charge of Damien?
- No, he asked for reinforcements.
Oh, we, we intercepted, we intercept
- Cloud Peaks lots of ways to the south.
- Wait, I was looking atthe wrong part of the map.

(01:47:14):
- . - I'm trying, I'mtrying to find, um, uh, uh,
some mountains that arewithin the vicinity.
- You've been hitting the,um, still that early today.
- The Sword Mountains.
- Yep. Those are, those are a mic closer.
- I'm, I'm sorry. I said that wrong.
They're coming through the sort mountains.

(01:47:35):
- Oh, well that would make more sense.
- And the problem is, isthat we, we called all,
we called all our, uh, allour people into the city
to, for the fight.
So we no longer, we, we nolonger hold the kitchen pass
for the, so for the Sword Mountains,
- The Kitchen pass.
- Kitchen pass.- Oh,

(01:47:56):
- - For the Sword Mountains.
- Uh, what? Hey,
- Is this an inside joke?
- It is. . Perhaps,
- Perhaps we should go outside
and then maybe you can tell it again.
. I don't think thatwould change the joke. Kayleigh,

(01:48:24):
- Here's what I'm thinking.
We need to split our forces.
We need to leave a group of folks here
who can create a diversionso that, uh, Gareth
and his friends can getto this door in the tower
and close it with the needle we covered.
I can take everyone elseup to the Sword Mountains
and deal with Damienand his troublemakers.

(01:48:48):
- I know how to create a diversion.
Oh, bog, let me punch you. .
- Um, I mean,- No, no, no, no,
- No.
Poo poo leave the, we don't need you
to create diversion this time.
You've got the needle. Soyou've already got your job.
Right. You can, you'renot on diversion duty.

(01:49:08):
- Oh, good. Uh, because Iwasn't going to do that. Yeah.
'cause I've, I've matured, I've grown up.
I know that punching peopleis not always the answer.
not always.
- Just sometimes.- Uh, it's,
it's good you've learned that lesson.
- The last person I punched got arrested

(01:49:29):
and thrown into prison for a long time.
- So anyway, um,
- Perhaps this may be where we part ways.
- Oh, is you, are you leaving us?
- Well, I just learned from Dun

(01:49:49):
and that I've got a, uh, agroup of folks that I need
to leave up, lead upto the Sword Mountains.
- I thought it was the Cloud Mountains.
- No, it's the, it's the Sword Mountains.
We've lo we've lost the ki we've,
we've lost kitchen pass up there.
- Oh, kitchen pass.- Kitchen pass.

(01:50:10):
- I still don't know what that means about
- Well, you know what a pa you know
what a pass is throughthe mountains, right?
- Yes.- Well, it's kitchen pass.
- Oh, it's a restaurant.- No, it's the name of the past.
- Is it because of thequarantine? ?
- What, what quarantine.

(01:50:33):
- Well, this whole city is,
this whole city's quarantined. We're not allowed to leave.
- It- Is siding.
- We came back.- Nope.
- Well, um, let's get back on a topic.
They all leaving us
- .
- Uh, unfortunately, I, I am leaving.

(01:50:54):
Uh, I've got a job to do andthat's to lead this here.
Uh, resistance against, uh, Damien.
That's, uh, that's my lawin life at the moment.
- Oh, well, I stumble foot.
You have been a valuablemember at, to our party,
and I thank you foryour wise words earlier

(01:51:17):
and for fighting alongside us.
- I was happy to do it. A friendGareth is a friend of mine.
- Yes. Thank you for being the boom
companion that I knew you would be.
- . It was my pleasure.
And that, uh, it was good tobe at your side again, Gareth,

(01:51:37):
I, uh, I truly missed you
- And I hope that we will fight again,
or at least meet again sideby side, either here or
- I hope that, I hope the same thing.
Sorry.
- Alright guys, let's just go,

(01:52:03):
- Uh, um, do you think, I'd like
to leave behind five folks tocreate some sort of diversion,
you know, the standard thing.
Do you think you can get that pulled off
- The standard thing?
- Hey, the standard thing,

(01:52:23):
- Eric, I don't wantto kill your character
for putting me on the spot.
Don't gimme a reason. ,
- You know, you know what I mean?
You know what I mean?Darin, just make some noise.
Draw attention away from the tower.
You know, start a fire, whatever,
what, whatever needs to be done.
Uh oh. Make a tussle.

(01:52:45):
- Oh, you- Mean the standard thing? Yeah.
- Oh, okay. Okay. I'm sorry.- A diversion, right? Yeah.
- Yeah, yeah, yeah. Well, I mean, we have,
we have several standardthings, so, I mean,
- But yeah, we- Can, we, we can definitely do that.
- Sure. Um, talk it over withthe group here. Figure it out.

(01:53:05):
And, uh, I'll muster the troops
and start heading outtowards the so mountains.
We've got, uh, we gotta
get there. Too much. Get the kitchen.
- Gotta get- Past the kitchen.
- The kitchen.- We've got a,
we've got the seal up kitchen pass.
- Yes. We totally knowwhat you're thinking about.
- Is it a Kentucky Fried Kitchen

(01:53:30):
- To be continued? Uh,
- No.
. I don't know what thatmeans. . What's this
- Kentucky that you're talking about?
- Kentucky Fried Chicken.Kentucky Fried Kitchen Kernel.
- That doesn't really work, Steve.
- No,- That I, I try again.
- I'm gonna be sore in the morning
from reaching for all those jokes.

(01:53:52):
- The brain's the first thing to go.
- I'm just telling you, Steve.
You, I mean, at least my dumb ideas
were kind of funny.
- No.
- All right. So thisis gonna be a stopping
point for us this evening.
Uh, as our listenersmay know, this is, uh,
gonna be a, uh, uh, a wrap on stumble foot

(01:54:15):
for the time being Eric willbe leaving our community for,
for the foreseeable future.
Uh, so Eric, thank you for showing up.
Uh, it was,
it's been a pleasure havingyou on. Thank you for

- A union show.
Thank you very much. We havelike all of the guests on,
you have to DM 20 peopleat the same time, .
- So, or,
or if may maybe for a special,if Eric comes back for
one, if Eric comes backfor, is able to come back

(01:54:56):
for one episode, I might, Imight give you the pleasure
of experiencing him as a DM
and letting him DM a one shot.
Then I would be ableto jump in as a player.
- Oh, that'd be cool. There's an idea.
- Yeah.- So
- We can call it playingGames of Strangers.
The TPK episode
- .

(01:55:17):
- Um, no, but you guys would find out
what it looks like whenJohn's character dies.
'cause Eric likes to kill mycharacters in our other games.
- . Well, ifsomeone's gonna die, I've
- Only killed it twice.
- Yeah. Out of, out ofthree characters I've had
with you, you've only killed me twice
- .
- So anyway, um, for everybody else

(01:55:38):
