Proverbs 4:4, He also taught me and said to me,
    “Let your heart retain my words;
    keep my commandments, and live.

 

Jesus is the one who gives life.

 

John 10:10, The thief does not come, except to steal and kill and destroy. I came that they may have life, and that they may have it more abundantly.

 

It is good to seek the Word of God. Proverbs 4:4

 

It is so helpful to communicate with God through prayer. 

 

Psalm 1:1-3, Blessed is the man
    who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
nor stands in the path of sinners,
    nor sits in the seat of scoffers;
2 but his delight is in the law of the Lord,
    and in His law he meditates day and night.
3 He will be like a tree planted by the rivers of water,
    that brings forth its fruit in its season;
its leaf will not wither,
    and whatever he does will prosper.

 

Proverbs 4:7 Wisdom is principal; therefore get wisdom.
    And with all your getting, get understanding.

 

Hebrews says that God is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him.
