 We need to seek the right things.

Proverbs 4:4-5, Get wisdom! Get understanding!
    Do not forget it, nor turn away from the words of my mouth.
6 Do not forsake her, and she will preserve you;
    love her, and she will keep you.

 Jesus is our starting place then from there we can gain so much truth and hope for our lives.

 We need to choose the right thing.

Proverbs 4:10-19

 We all have choices to make.

Matthew 7:14 because small is the gate and narrow is the way which leads to life, and there are few who find it.

 Proverbs 4:11, I have taught you in the way of wisdom;
    I have led you in right (upright, straight forward) paths.

 

 Proverbs 4:12, When you walk, your steps will not be hindered,
    and when you run, you will not stumble.

 We take the freedom to make choices and can stretch that to our own demise.

 Our life is complicated. God helps us.

 Psalm 119:105, Your word is a lamp to my feet
    and a light to my path.

 

God does protect us. Look to Him for true protection.

 

Proverbs 6:23, For the commandment is a lamp, and the law is light;
    and reproofs of instruction are the way of life,

 

2 Corinthians 5:7, For we walk by faith, not by sight.

 

We grow by the Word of God.
