- Faithful people are not consumed only with their own problems but are concerned about how their actions affect others.
- Faithful people do whatever it takes to fulfill their responsibilities and get the job done, even at personal risk or sacrifice.
- Jesus Christ is the ultimate example of faithfulness - He gave His very life to accomplish God's plan of salvation.
- God honors and preserves the faithful, as seen in the life of Epaphroditus who was raised up from illness after his faithful service.
The sermon emphasizes that faithfulness is one of the most important virtues we can cultivate as followers of Christ. It brings value and validity to everything else we do in serving God and others.
