So a funny thing happened on the way to getting Season 4 of Podcaster Stories ready - from personal and work life, to guests that weren't really right for the show.

This resulted in the new season being delayed by about a month, which I apologize for. The good news is that Season 4 will be released next week, so I'm looking forward to sharing more awesome stories with you.

There's also an update about the Quite the Thing podcast network that Podcaster Stories is now part of, and is very much geared towards community focus and engaging our listeners, so I'm stoked to be part of that.

Thanks for your patience over the summer, and I hope you've had a safe and enjoyable one. Here;'s to Season 4.

(00:02):
Hi, and welcome to thisspecial episode of Podcaster Stories.
Truth be told, this shouldhave been the first episode
of Season 4. Unfortunately, I'ma little behind schedule in
that for a few reasons, some personal when I've had
some stuff to deal withat home, mainly like busy,
extra, extra curricular stuff (Ic an't even say it

(00:24):
properly) for the kids, aswell as being pretty busy
at work. As we getready for a bunch of
new products, et cetera, butalso as the podcast has
grown - and thank youso much for helping it
grow to where it isat the moment - I've
had more interest in peoplewanting to be guests, as
opposed to myself normally goingout and finding guests and,
and inviting them on tobe on the show, et

(00:45):
cetera, and that's been great.
That's been, it shows thatthe, the, the show's growing
and there's more awareness oron the Podcaster Stories podcast,
which is awesome. So thankyou. But unfortunately, a few
of the guests were onlyinterested in promoting a book
or on an online courseor something, which came out
as I started digging morearound them in what they
were bringing in to the,the chat and Podcaster Stories

(01:07):
has always been about, sharingthe more personal stories of
the podcasters that we listento. Getting to know their
personal lives, the adversities haveovercome, and how that can
help you go through andovercome some of this stuff
that you may have gonethrough yourself that they have
already gone through. So it'sa very specific, focused show,
and some of the guests,or to some of the

(01:28):
pitches that have received reallyweren't fitting into that, and
that threw back the recordingschedule quite a bit, actually,
which is why I'm aboutprobably about a month behind
now.
So I do apologize forthat. The show should be
coming back to podcast appseverywhere next week. So that'll
be the third week inAugust, if you are listening
to this after the date,et cetera, I'm and if
you all listening to thisis after the day, it

(01:48):
doesn't make sense because you'realready know that there is
a new episodes out. Soignore that a little section.
So yes, it should becoming back next week, and
I'm excited to bring theguests that I've got recorded
so far. And the onesthat have got lined up
to record and share withyou, they've got some amazing
stories and really inspiring andjust really genuine, nice people.
So I'm really excited toshare that with you. Another
quick update is Podcaster Storieshas joined Quite the Thing

(02:13):
media network, and this isa Scottish podcast network.
That the guys behind it,down to the podcasters on
the network, are very muchgeared towards the podcast in
the way I am, whichis a very much about,
it's about you, the listenerfirst and foremost, and bringing
the, the, the kind ofconversations that you want to
hear and the kind ofcontent you like to hear,
as well as being verycommunity focused and involving our

(02:34):
listeners and involving the listenersof the networks and involving
the listener's of each individualpodcast that's on there. So
I'm really excited to bejoining the guy's over at
Quite the Thing media network, sorry podcast network. There's some
great shows on there already, and I've been meeting the
people behind the podcasts onthere, and again, a great
group of people with greatcontent and really diverse podcasts

(02:55):
as well, so I'd lovefor you to check out
the, the network and thevarious shows that are on
there at the moment.
You can find that bygoing to Podcaster Stories dot
com slash network that's PodcasterStories dot com slash network,
and you can check outall the shows they've got
on there, and to findout more about the guys
on there, as well asfollow them on social media,

(03:17):
et cetera. So, as Imentioned, just a quick update
to let you know wherethe show is. I do
apologize that it's been abit of a quieter summer
than I anticipated it tobe, but will be getting
back on track very, verysoon. And I'm really excited
to continue and bring youa Season 4 of Podcaster
Stories. So thank you somuch for your patience. I
really appreciate the support andthe listens and the engagement

(03:39):

of the show so far.And I can't wait to
