Austin G
Born in Hopkinsville, Kentucky, and a graduate of Murray State University, Austin G discovered his love for performance early—immersed in church choir and theater, and encouraged by his high school choir teacher to pursue performing over baseball. A freshman at MSU, he wrote and performed an original song that sparked his fan-building journey.
After relocating to Nashville in 2017/2018, Austin gained traction as one half of the duo SixForty1—opening for major country acts and accruing millions of streams. With his solo alt-punk, country-synth style, he released a slew of singles in 2023–2024, including “Way Too Much,” “Leave Like That,” “Head in a Dust Cloud,” “Lights On,” and “Didn’t Mean to Call.”
On January 10, 2025, he launched his debut solo album, Running My Mouth—a 7-song project featuring the title track and “Bring It On Back.” Alongside recording, Austin continues to engage audiences through his Started Right Here EP (Live) performances and regularly connects with fans via social platforms, recently explaining, “My debut album is OUT NOW! … this record has been a lifetime in the making…”
He is managed by Morris Higham Management, publishes through Round Hill Music, and benefits from an affiliation with Red Light Management via manager Aaron Keiser—a testament to the growing infrastructure supporting his rising career.
