Trump Regime BS of the Day Report:

Seriously. There is something ridiculous, outrageous, or terrifying that comes out every single day - sometimes several TIMES a day. But today's BS is not only fake, not only will it confuse Americans, it is also going to cause a great deal of unnecessary pain and suffering.

The Wall Street Journal and Reuters have both just reported that Kennedy is planning to announce a link between autism and acetaminophen use by pregnant women, as well as folate, an essential vitamin that helps the body produce cells, as being potential causes of autism.

Acetaminophen is the active ingredient in Tylenol. And already the Conspiracy Queens like Laura Loomer are broadcasting far and wide - shares in Kenvue, the company that produces Tylenol, have already dropped sharply, 14% on Friday.

Robert F Kennedy Jr's QUACK report is going to smear - and ultimately remove - the one SAFE pain relief option women have when going through pregnancy. And gentlemen, let me tell you, there are a WHOLE lot of pain issues during pregnancy.

And that fear will spread to everyone, from children to seniors, who have been relying on this ONE source of safe pain relief, no matter what condition, disease, or surgery recovery they are going through.

Tylenol/acetaminophen has been put through studies SPECIFICALLY concerning pregnant women and their developing fetuses.

NBC News reports that doctors and researchers have spent decades studying acetaminophen, the active ingredient in Tylenol, and have broadly found it to be the safest option for pain relief during pregnancy.

For both mother AND developing fetus.

The latest scientific study, published last year in the Journal of the American Medical Association, found that taking acetaminophen during pregnancy was not linked to autism, ADHD or intellectual disability.

. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

But RFK Jr is taking ONE facet of the study out of context, and using it to "back up" his quackery.

Initially, when researchers looked at the general population, reports NBC, there was a very small increased risk of autism in children whose mothers took acetaminophen while pregnant.

However, after the researchers compared siblings within the same family — one exposed to the drug during pregnancy, and the other not — they found no link.

NO LINK. The scientists researched it further, and found NO LINK. Siblings with the SAME genetic make-up, from the SAME mothers did not develop autism.

“We were able to adjust for things that we saw that other people might have missed before,” said Brian Lee, one of the study’s authors and an associate professor of epidemiology at Drexel University.

Dr. Joshua Gordon, a psychiatrist and neuroscientist at Columbia University, said “it seems clear to me that the risk is low to non-existent.” He added that “RFK Jr. and those he supports have a long history of ignoring very large scale, well-controlled studies, instead promoting findings from much smaller studies and those with suspect methods.” That from NBC News.

Reuters reports that "Large 2025 studies from Europe and Japan that suggested what might appear to be small associations between prenatal acetaminophen use and neurodevelopmental disorders might actually be due to confounders, that is, other underlying factors - such as environmental conditions, parents' health and genetics, other medications the mothers may have been taking, and illness.

"A 2024 study, of nearly 2.5 million children in Sweden found no causal link between in utero exposure to acetaminophen and neurodevelopmental disorders like autism spectrum disorder or attention deficit hyperactivity disorder."

"What's striking to me is that this report is supposed to uncover all these new causes, and so far, all we're learning is that they're rehashing existing research," said Dr. David Mandell, a professor of psychiatry and autism expert at the University of Pennsylvania.
