`Trump is BEGGING for Kent State to happen all over again! Hegseth just signed the order to arm the National Guard!
To carry weapons of war. On our own soil. To be aimed at our own people.
And this is no longer a temporary "emergency" action. It is now an occupation. Trump said Thursday he expects it to last six months - "until the end of the year".
Trump backed down on his boast Thursday morning that he would patrol the DC streets with his personal federal law force on that night. Instead, he showed up WELL before dark with burgers and pizza for them. Just to give a speech for the ever-present cameras.
"You got to be strong, you got to be tough," Trump told Guard personnel at the U.S. Park Police Anacostia Operations Facility. "You got to do your job. Whatever it takes to do your job."
Crime is already pretty much nonexistent now - his intention to cosplay like Kristi Noem would have been a bust.
But protesters have been out there constantly, and Trump wants ACTION for his propaganda machine, to validate his continued threats to take over other Democrat-run cities. Cities with Black mayors. Trump is STILL obsessed with the BLM protests of his first regime. He wanted General Milley to order his troops to "shoot them in the legs or something" then.
General Milley wouldn't. Former Major Hegseth will.
And now he has armed the National Guard.
