While it's true that the pool industry may have traditionally been a male-dominated field in years past, that perception is rapidly changing. Take Holly Waldhauer for instance. As the owner of Mermaid Lagoons and Vice President of the East Central Chapter of the Florida Swimming Pool Association, Holly has been turning the heads of seasoned veterans in the pool industry with her beautiful tile work.
Recently her firm was named Member Company of the Year at the Everything Under The Sun Expo and she has rapidly been making a name for herself by taking on increasingly complex mosaic glass tile installations. In addition, she volunteered her time and skills to design and produce the exquisite FSPA tiled mural which adorns the Technical Education Center of the organization.
