I'm in Brooklyn.
We had to wrap up the summer.
Connor's in Brooklyn now.
He saw Gaga last night.
I
SPEAKER_03 (01:43):

That's why my voice is a littlebit low today.
I was screaming.
singing.
Oh
SPEAKER_01 (01:48):
my God.
And living
SPEAKER_03 (01:49):
my life.
SPEAKER_01 (01:50):
Yeah.
My body is
SPEAKER_03 (01:51):
awake.
Mother fed.

So Destination D23 happened lastweek.
So we've got quite a bit of newsfor you.
So let's just get started.
I'm going to start with theinternational parks.
We got a few pieces of news fromthere.
So first of all, Hong KongDisney's new Moana themed
restaurant Wayfinders Table isopening on September 12th.
(02:18):
Destination D23 attendees weretreated to a sneak peek of the
concept art and it looks amazingand I do think Moana should have
her own restaurant.
So lucky them.
SPEAKER_03 (02:27):
Moana should have
the world.
SPEAKER_01 (02:28):
Yes.
Then let's roll over toDisneyland Paris.
The Lucky Nuggets Saloon inDisneyland Paris will be getting
a Halloween overlay transforminginto the Unlucky Nuggets Saloon
from October 1st throughNovember 2nd.
So it looks like it will featurespecial food and beverage
options for spooky season and Iwas just absolutely eating up
(02:49):
the vibes of like the promoimage that they showed with like
the wedding cake the black andpurple color scheme which you
know we love so yeah I reallywish I could visit that and also
in Disneyland Paris News Worldof Frozen in Disney Adventure
World finally has an openingtimeline it will start welcoming
(03:09):
guests in spring 2026 we don'thave a month yet but yeah I'm
just excited to see that unfoldso so much change has happened
in Disneyland Paris since Ivisited in 2014 when I was
studying abroad and a lot ofthis really has me wanting to go
back.
Like, I need you to ride Crush'sCoaster.
(03:30):
Crush's Coaster, for me, a girlwho doesn't like roller coasters
was like, I was like crying ofhappiness on Crush's Coaster.
Watch, I'm going to come out ofit and I'll be
SPEAKER_03 (03:37):
like, that was...
SPEAKER_01 (03:38):
You'll be like, this
was a kiddie ride.
I'm joking.
Probably.
Yeah, you're probably.
Fine, whatever.
I'm
SPEAKER_03 (03:42):
joking.
But the construction lookssuper, super cool over there.
It does.
They're really plug-in along.
SPEAKER_01 (03:47):
They are.
Quick Disneyland update.
Oga's Cantina in Galaxy's Edgeis now walk-up only with a
traditional standby line so newreservations are no longer being
accepted and I am interested tosee how this turns out.
I wonder if it's like if it'sbecause they're trying to like
(04:07):
make it more of a casual thingthat you kind of just show up to
rather than like I personallyenjoy having it be something on
my agenda for the week when I goand Disney World I'm wondering
if too
SPEAKER_03 (04:18):
many people were not
showing up to their reservations
because that could also be likea California thing where like I
SPEAKER_01 (04:25):
don't know Florida
feels more destination yes and
it's like you're not schedulingout your sometimes you're there
for only a day actually yes Ithink you're right and that kind
of makes sense to
SPEAKER_03 (04:32):
me like somebody
could be like oh yeah I'm gonna
grab a reservation then notactually use
SPEAKER_01 (04:36):
it yeah so this is
then is more like a traditional
bar experience where you kind ofjust roll up interesting okay
all right okay we got a lot ofDisney World news so let's Let's
just jump in here.
It has been announced that thebrand new Zootopia Better Zoo
Gather will officially open onNovember 7th in Animal Kingdom
at the Tree of Life Theater.
(04:56):
Guests are going to wear carrotvision glasses.
There's going to be a newcharacter, Heidi Howler, and you
will even have the opportunityto meet Nick and Judy in person
after the show.
So I love that Zootopia isgetting its moment as it should.
SPEAKER_03 (05:10):
Yeah, and you won't
get stabbed in the back by the
bee.
SPEAKER_01 (05:14):
No more.
Children no longer have to livein fear And that's always a good
thing.
Or adults.
What am I saying?
Like me.
SPEAKER_03 (05:20):
Like you.
SPEAKER_01 (05:21):
Like me.
And then in some really sadAnimal Kingdom news, a day that
we knew was coming, Dinosaur nowhas a closing date.
So the last day for guests toride the attraction will be
February 1st, 2026.
So I last rode it when I went toDisney World in April 2024.
And now I know that that's morelikely than not the last time I
(05:44):
rode Dinosaur ever.
That makes me really sad.
SPEAKER_03 (05:48):
I'm okay.
I think the last time that Irode it was definitely going to
be my last time.
And it's fine because they justkeep turning the lights down and
shaking you more.
So it's just like a chiropracticadjustment in the dark.
So I'm okay.
I'm excited to see what thelights on are going to look like
in this new ride.
SPEAKER_01 (06:05):
Are you fucking
kidding me?
SPEAKER_03 (06:07):
No.
SPEAKER_01 (06:07):
What the hell is
wrong with you?
Stop.
Stop.
SPEAKER_03 (06:10):
No, it was a good
ride.
I'm
SPEAKER_01 (06:11):
not saying that it
couldn't have used improvements,
but what do you mean?
Just whenever anything grows.
Indiana Jones doing an AnimalKingdom
SPEAKER_03 (06:18):
I'm not saying that
like India I'm just I
SPEAKER_01 (06:21):
don't know what
you're saying so don't say it I
don't want to hear it it's toofresh this is too raw for me
right now please it's not evengone whenever something
SPEAKER_03 (06:30):
broke they just turn
the lights
SPEAKER_01 (06:31):
down and shook you
not while I'm hurting like this
stop it get off me okay I needto move on
SPEAKER_03 (06:37):
okay
SPEAKER_01 (06:38):
my god not you too
okay my god okay I'm safe moving
over to Magic Kingdom A newoverlay is coming to Tron Light
Cycle Run in both Disney Worldand Shanghai Disney.
So starting on September 15th,an overlay that will include red
lighting and music from NineInch Nails will debut to
(06:58):
celebrate the October opening ofthe Tron Ares film.
SPEAKER_03 (07:02):
Tron Mountain Dew
Code Red.
The ride.
SPEAKER_01 (07:05):
We all loved a
little bit of Code Red.
We do.
I know I did.
It's the best one.
Besides Baja Blast, but I
SPEAKER_03 (07:11):
digress.
No, Baja Blast makes me sick.
SPEAKER_01 (07:13):
You're breaking my
heart today, okay?
Just please stop it.
Sorry.
Sorry.
You're like coming after likekey parts of my personality.
And I don't know why.
I'm so sorry.
Okay.
Let's talk about big news and Ithink good news.
I
SPEAKER_03 (07:28):
think
SPEAKER_01 (07:28):
so too.
Magic Kingdom's Carousel ofProgress is getting an update
for the first time in over 30years.
The attraction is getting a newintroduction scene featuring a
Walt Disney audio animatronic.
And I think this feels reallyright.
This attraction is the one thatmakes me feel closer to Walt
even though I know that soundsreally strange and I actually
(07:50):
really enjoy that we can moveaway from the current opening
that's just a curtain and avoiceover and I'm interested to
see how this goes becauseaudiences are quite close to the
stage in Carousel of Progressand I know that there's been
some feedback about the Waltanimatronic from Disneyland so
people are going to be evencloser and are going to be able
(08:10):
to see every bit of him so Iwonder if they're going to make
some changes before I feel likethey I feel like they have to.
I feel like they have to.
SPEAKER_03 (08:18):
I mean, it's
SPEAKER_01 (08:19):
interesting.
I respect that.
I respect like being like, we'regoing to fix that.
That wasn't quite right.
I'm into that.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (08:26):
Yeah.
I'm excited for this because Ithink it's going to get people
coming back to the carousel ofprogress.
SPEAKER_01 (08:33):
Which they should do
anyway.
Which they
SPEAKER_03 (08:35):
should.
And it's going to breathe somenew life into it in a way that
feels still authentic to theride.
Like, it would be weird for themto just like update a scene
completely outright
SPEAKER_01 (08:47):
yeah like I know
that they've done some
SPEAKER_03 (08:50):
enhancements to the
like final scene right
SPEAKER_01 (08:54):
and I was gonna say
like if we're kind of putting
Walt at the intro of this I feellike it sort of gives this
acknowledgement that it's likehe made this and then that final
scene is never gonna fully getupdated because that was his
version of the future and thatworks for me in
SPEAKER_03 (09:10):
some ways I feel
like it's a really really smart
move because it means that theydon't have to keep investing
into updating
SPEAKER_01 (09:16):
that you stepped
into his office and he's
presenting to you the idea as itstood then yeah some other I
think good news for most peopleCinderella Castle will be
repainted back to its originalblue cream gray and gold color
scheme so the 50th anniversarypinks and blues will be no more
and I would say generally theinternet has rejoiced
SPEAKER_03 (09:38):
me included
SPEAKER_01 (09:39):
yeah and honestly me
too I mean when they first did
the 50th anniversary redo I wasvery much against it I hated how
it looked and then it reallygrew on me over time.
It
SPEAKER_03 (09:48):
didn't grow on me.
They just kept saying that thepink is going to fade in the
Florida sun and it very much didnot.
I thought
SPEAKER_01 (09:54):
it did a
SPEAKER_04 (09:54):
little.
SPEAKER_03 (09:55):
No, those photos
were edited.
No.
The best thing that this colorscheme did was the gold and so
I'm glad that they're sayingthat they're going to keep the
gold because it just reallybrought out some of the
architecture that can get lostin Cinderella Castle like some
SPEAKER_01 (10:08):
of the
SPEAKER_03 (10:09):
little details.
SPEAKER_01 (10:10):
I love a gold
accent.
SPEAKER_03 (10:12):
The gold accent is
going to look great with the
cream because the originalconcept art that they gave us,
that color was cream.
It was
SPEAKER_01 (10:19):
not pink.
Right.
I know.
I know.
I
SPEAKER_03 (10:22):
know.
And then all of a sudden it waspink.
Ew.
Goodbye.
SPEAKER_01 (10:25):
Pink.
Make it pink.
SPEAKER_03 (10:26):
Make it blue.
SPEAKER_01 (10:30):
It was also
announced that the fairy
godmother will be making visitsto the Bibbidi Bobbidi boutiques
in both Walt Disney World andDisneyland starting in early
October.
Simplified packages will also berolled out around then.
And I don't know.
I was watching that video of thefairy godmother twirling around
And I was just like, I don'tknow.
Maybe one day those of us over12 will have our moment because
(10:52):
I want to do that.
SPEAKER_03 (10:55):
We'll do our adult
only cruise and we'll get you
there.
SPEAKER_01 (10:59):
Then I'll be able to
go in.
SPEAKER_03 (11:00):
We'll get you your
real, real tight bun, like
lacquered
SPEAKER_01 (11:04):
in glitter.
That's all I want.
Oh, man.
We also got some really excitingVillain's Land teases at
Destination D23.
And Disney shared that Disneylegend Andreas Deha, who was a
key part of creating Gaston,Scar, and Jafar, three of the
(11:24):
best villains out there, isconsulting on the project.
And that Imagineers have visitedParis and Barcelona to study
their architecture.
The Imagineering team hascreated the term conjured
architecture to describe howthey are utilizing the, quote,
magical, fluid, and organicappearance of both the animated
villains and the Art Nouveaustyle of construction, end
(11:44):
quote, to style.
the land.
And that feels really promising.
It sounds very sophisticated.
SPEAKER_03 (11:52):
Yeah.
The concept art that they weregiving, like some of the
reference pictures, I'm like, this is right.
This is absolutely right.
This can be good.
SPEAKER_01 (11:58):
And finally, the
Beacon Barrel, the new Pirates
of the Caribbean themed tavern,is now open in Magic Kingdom.
When reservations first opened, they filled almost completely,
very quickly, surprising nobody.
But it does sound like smallerparty sizes of one or two may
have some luck on weekdaysscoring reservation.
(12:19):
So
SPEAKER_03 (12:20):
solo day drink.
That's the lesson.
SPEAKER_01 (12:22):
And there's nothing
wrong with that.
We need to get more comfortableas a society with
SPEAKER_03 (12:27):
loneliness.
SPEAKER_01 (12:28):
Eating and drinking
on our own.
Alone.
SPEAKER_03 (12:31):
Be lonely.
SPEAKER_01 (12:33):
Learn to be lonely.
Great song.
Is it?
Yeah.
Anyway, you're just coming forme today.
I don't care what you say.
Please note, if you areattending Mickey's Not So scary
Halloween party that the baractually will be open then.
So maybe you can make thathappen then.
I don't know why you'd want tolike waste time at the Halloween
party but anyway you can do it.
(12:55):
And visits are currently limitedto 45 minutes and two drinks per
guest and they are sticking tothat.
Keep that in mind.
I know a lot of people are a bitdisappointed that these are
pre-batched cocktails like abartender is not making each
cocktail by hand.
SPEAKER_03 (13:11):
I feel like you kind
of got to.
SPEAKER_01 (13:13):
If we all want to go
to the Beacon Barrel anytime in
the next like three years, thenit's going to have to kind of be
that way.
SPEAKER_03 (13:20):
Yeah.
I wouldn't be surprised if likethe first menu change, maybe
they are able to start doingthat.
But the first menu change isgoing to be like a while down
the road.
Yeah.
Especially in the opening of anew attraction like this.
Like it's an attraction as muchas it is a dining experience.
SPEAKER_01 (13:36):
And it looks fun.
It looks fun.
I want to go.
Yeah.
I want to go.
SPEAKER_03 (13:40):
All right.
Well, let's talk about someDisney Plus stuff.
So things that are nowadaysWe'll be right back.
(14:15):
Fans can dive deeper into thecase each week with the Only
Murders in the Building officialpodcast.
Only took them how many seasonsto get there?
SPEAKER_01 (14:26):
I know.
SPEAKER_03 (14:28):
This 10-episode
video and audio series.
See video?
We're ahead of them.
That's right.
Look
SPEAKER_04 (14:32):
at us go.
SPEAKER_03 (14:33):
10-episode video and
audio series features cast
interviews, behind-the-scenesinsights, and more, dropping
Tuesdays on Hulu's YouTubechannel and international
platforms.
SPEAKER_01 (14:44):
They just keep
rolling.
New seasons.
Also that.
They just really keep rollingout new season after new season
of the show.
Props to that whole team.
SPEAKER_03 (14:55):
Because that's how
TV is supposed to be.
That's what makes it profitable.
Like that's why that modelworks.
Anyway, the new season ofDancing with the Stars premieres
live on Disney Plus Tuesday,September 16th at 8, 7 central.
The lineup of stars this yearincludes Dylan Efron, Hilaria
Baldwin, Corey Feldman ElaineHendricks Robert Irwin and Andy
(15:21):
Richter among others and I sawsomeone that they were like on
Disney night they desperatelyneed Elaine Hendricks to do it
as Meredith Blake and then herpartner be a lizard and I'm like
I need that I need that costumeI need that I need the black and
white hat and I need like thegecko also announced coming soon
(15:44):
all episodes of the new Marvelanimation miniseries, Marvel
Zombies, premieres on September24th.
And this is described as, quote, after the Avengers are overtaken
by a zombie plague, a desperategroup of survivors discover the
key to bringing an end to thesuperpowered undead racing
across a dystopian landscape andrisking life and limb to save
(16:06):
their world.
And then bonus announcement withthis, the voice cast includes
Elizabeth Olsen reprising herrole as the Scarlet Witch.
So this is the first time thatwe We've seen her since
Multiverse of Madness.
Wow.
Yeah.
It was announced the new holidayspecial, A Very Jonas Christmas
Movie, will premiere on DisneyPlus on November 14th.
(16:27):
The star-studded cast includes, get this, Chloe Bennett, Billy
Lord, Laverne Cox, KJ Apa,Andrew Barth Feldman, Andrea
Martin, Kenny G, Justin Tranter,Randall Park, and Jesse Tyler
Ferguson.
So this thing is going to bestacked.
UNKNOWN (16:45):
Wow.
SPEAKER_03 (16:45):
And then, last thing
I'll say, announced at
Destination D23, Oscar andEmmy-nominated filmmaker Leslie
Iwerks, daughter of Disneylegend Don Iwerks and
granddaughter of Disney animatorand co-creator of Mickey Mouse
and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit ofIwerks, she took the stage to
announce her new documentary,Disneyland Handcrafted.
(17:07):
The new documentary premieresthis winter and follows the
artists, craftsmen, and WaltDisney Imagineers who were
actually there during theconstruction of Disneyland.
It features archival footagefrom the camera crew that Walt
had documenting the constructionand never before seen footage.
So basically she went into thearchives and she saw a bunch of
(17:28):
like documentary film that Walthad commissioned that had never
been scanned essentially.
So it wasn't like preserved.
And so we're going to see thingsabout the making of Disneyland
that no one has ever seenbefore, which is so cool.
SPEAKER_01 (17:43):
Damn cool.
All right,
SPEAKER_03 (17:45):
let's talk about
talk about Disney films.
Things now available.
Hamilton is officially intheaters now.
So in honor of the 10thanniversary of the show, there
was a special premiere screeningand red carpet event at the
Delacorte Theater in New YorkCity on September 3rd, complete
with appearances from Lin-ManuelMiranda and the rest of the
original cast.
They had a window to do the sortof viral trend of the best of
(18:10):
wives and best of women moment.
SPEAKER_01 (18:13):
And Lin started
doing it during During the show.
And I just love that so much.
Like the ability to laugh atyourself is so admirable.
SPEAKER_03 (18:22):
It was just like
theater kids.
SPEAKER_01 (18:25):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (18:25):
Rented out of
theater.
Theater
SPEAKER_02 (18:27):
kid joy.
Absolutely.
Yeah, truly.
SPEAKER_03 (18:29):
And then Freakier
Friday and the Fantastic Four
First Steps, they're still outin theaters.
So if you haven't seen them yet, there's still time.
You can go see them.
Wow.
Next up, we have things that areannounced coming soon.
So I'm going to get into myDestination D23 announcements.
But before I do, we got theofficial release date for Blue.
Louis the
SPEAKER_02 (18:46):

(19:08):
office.
I am already predicting likethis thing is going to pull in
so much cash.
I will go see this
SPEAKER_01 (19:14):
movie.
I was going to say It alsosounds like the perfect thing.
I feel like I've been seeing alot of TikToks and reels lately
of like, hey, you can go to themovies in your pajamas in the
morning on a weekend and likebring coffee and donuts.
And this is the perfect thing todo that
SPEAKER_03 (19:27):
for.
Absolutely.

that what makes him unusualmight just be magical powers
that will turn their lives in asecret world of magic upside
(20:29):
down.
And the feature is directed byJosie Trinidad and Jason Hand
with Roy Conley and Juan PabloReyes Lancaster Jones producing.
I'm optimistic.
SPEAKER_01 (20:39):
Yeah, me too.
Why not be, right?
SPEAKER_03 (20:42):
Truly, truly.
Why
SPEAKER_01 (20:43):
not be?
SPEAKER_03 (20:44):
Disney is in their
search for like Like what is
appealing to young boys andthis, that, and the other.
SPEAKER_02 (20:48):
Like original
stories.
Maybe this
SPEAKER_03 (20:50):
is it.
Who knows?
We'll find out.
SPEAKER_02 (20:52):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (20:53):
We only have a year
to wait.
SPEAKER_02 (20:54):
Yep.
SPEAKER_03 (20:55):
In celebration of
the 30th anniversary of Disney
and Pixar's beloved classic ToyStory, they announced at
Destination D23 that the filmwill be re-released in theaters
on September 12th, 2025.
So you can go see Toy Storyagain in theaters.
And then also at the event, wegot more details about the
upcoming Toy Story 5 whichpremieres June 19th, 2026.
(21:19):
Fans got a first look at a newpotty training toy named Smarty
Pants, which is voiced by ConanO'Brien, before an exclusive
look at the opening threeminutes of the film.
And that first look showed avast army of Buzz Lightyear's
washing up on a deserted island.
And this army will be among thefilm's villains after they get
stuck in a malfunctioning playmode.
(21:42):
We also got like looks at LilyPad, which is sort of like the
leap frog style tablet.
Yes.
It's
SPEAKER_01 (21:50):
clever.
SPEAKER_03 (21:51):
It's never not going
to be clever.
I
SPEAKER_01 (21:54):
know.
Toy Story is always going to
SPEAKER_03 (21:55):
work.
Pixar then continued theirpresentation at Destination D23
with a look at the upcomingPixar comedy Hoppers, which
arrives in theaters next March.
And then they went on toreiterate their lineup of films
with Gato in June of 2027.
And then a very sequel heavylineup of films with which will
(22:15):
see The Incredibles 3 and Coco 2hitting theaters with no
specific date in 2028 andbeyond.
I don't know how I feel aboutCoco 2.
SPEAKER_01 (22:27):
Yeah, I don't
either.
SPEAKER_03 (22:28):
Coco is
SPEAKER_01 (22:29):
just...
I don't really need Incredibles3 either.
SPEAKER_03 (22:33):
Coco is just...
kind of a perfect film.
Like, it's perfect the way thatit is.
SPEAKER_01 (22:39):
That's a standalone
journey to me.
SPEAKER_03 (22:42):
Yeah.
SPEAKER_01 (22:42):
Okay.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (22:44):
So that's everything
that's happening in Pixar right
now.
Fans at Destination D23 got anexclusive look at footage from
Avengers Doomsday, which has yetto be released to the public.
The new installment of theAvengers is slated for a
Christmas 2026 theatricalrelease as one of those, like,
tent poles with, like, Dune Part3.
So, according to the Russobrothers, this is the biggest
(23:05):
movie they've ever made, surpassing Avengers Infinity War
and Avengers Endgame.
SPEAKER_02 (23:11):
Oh, my God.
SPEAKER_03 (23:12):
Those are big
movies.
Oh, my God.
I mean, the cast is gigantic forthis thing.
So, wild.
And then the last thing I'llmention is that we got the title
for the sixth Ice Age film, which will be Ice Age Boiling
Point.
It is set for theatrical releaseon February 5th, 2027 and is
described as, quote, a dinosaurand lava-filled madcap adventure
(23:34):
that takes Manny Sid, Diego,Ellie, Scrat, and the rest of
the herd to visitnever-before-seen corners of the
treacherous Lost World, endquote.
Yeah, so like ever since thepandemic, Blue Sky Animation
shut down and Disney acquiredit, and so now Ice Age is part
of Disney stuff.
SPEAKER_01 (23:53):
Wild.
SPEAKER_03 (23:54):
That's why I got
there.
SPEAKER_01 (23:55):
Alright, let's wrap
it up.
I've got a few different thingsfor us.
Let's do a little merchandiseroundup first, shall we?
So, the jewelry company Littlewords project known for its
beaded message bracelets justreleased its Disney princess
collection featuring piecesinspired by Cinderella, Belle,
Tiana, Ariel, Jasmine, Rapunzel,and Moana.
(24:17):
Each princess has two wordbracelets and a special beaded
sidekick bracelet.
And y'all, they're so cute.
SPEAKER_03 (24:23):
Listen, it is taking
everything within me not to
spend money that I do not haveand get this stupid Pua
bracelet.
But if anyone wants to get itfor me, I'm probably the extra
largest
SPEAKER_01 (24:35):
please check out our
socials for a video so that you
can see these sidekick braceletsI was very tempted I bought the
if you're watching on YouTubeI'm showing it off so maybe you
should watch on YouTube I boughtthe bell courageous because how
was I not going to buy a bellthere's one from bell that says
(24:56):

you don't have a store no bigdeal you can totally shop the
whole collection on theirwebsite and this is this
collection also adds to theexisting Disney offerings based
around the Fab Five and Stitch.
All very adorable.
Yeah, there's a Donald
SPEAKER_03 (25:11):
one.
That's just like Lucky Duck.
SPEAKER_01 (25:13):

I'll take that
SPEAKER_03 (25:14):
one too.
SPEAKER_01 (25:16):
Yeah, order it
online.
Send it to Connor.
SPEAKER_03 (25:18):
DM me and I'll send
you
SPEAKER_01 (25:20):
one.
There's also some selection inDisney World as well.
And as I'm sure you know, if youare interested in this podcast
in any way, shape, or form, Bathand Body Works has released its
Disney villain collection, bothonline and in stores at this
point, featuring scents andproducts for Maleficent and the
(25:41):
Evil Queen.
SPEAKER_03 (25:41):
And we'll give you
our thoughts on that.
SPEAKER_01 (25:44):
Soon.
SPEAKER_03 (25:44):
Soon.
SPEAKER_01 (25:45):
Soon.
Let's move on to the DisneyCruise.
This excited me.
Dr.
Facilier will be the star of anew special onboard experience,
and that's going to be on theDisney Destiny.
One Disney is calling a, quote,meet-and-play character
experience.
So not meet-and-greet.
Meet-and-play.
and it sounds like he will havehis own little like parlor space
(26:09):
where he will perform sleight ofhand card tricks and tell
stories and let me tell you I'min I would be like loitering
around there just waiting forhim to call me over
SPEAKER_03 (26:22):
also legit if
Christopher is looking for work
he would be great friends withDr.
Facilier so true this is rightup his alley
SPEAKER_01 (26:33):
he would love that
too Oh, man.
Let's talk about theater.
First of all, I did see theBeauty and the Beast tour again.
Oops.
It was amazing.
SPEAKER_03 (26:47):
You got more
SPEAKER_01 (26:47):
merch.
Oops.
Let's talk about London.
There was a concert version ofthe Hunchback of Notre Dame
presented for severalperformances in London at the
Prince Edward Theater.
And when these things happen, myspark of hope for either a
Broadway or West End productionis just lit anew.
It sounded amazing.
And speaking of the West End, awonderful friend of mine saw the
(27:11):
West End production of Herculesand was kind enough to send me
the program.
Wait.
Again, you should be watching onYouTube.
Sent me the program, which ifyou don't know, in the UK, you
don't get a playbill.
So if you want anything like theprogram, you have to buy it.
Here it is.
Oh my gosh.
So I've been like reading up allthe bios and like looking at all
(27:31):
of that.
And this...
Medallion.
SPEAKER_03 (27:38):
Wow.
Look at it.
Listen, Disney on Broadway merchis just fire.
Disney theatricals, they arebringing it with the merch.
SPEAKER_01 (27:48):
Yes.
So I'm hoping to put this on myshelf over here, but if not,
this is going to go on myChristmas tree.
So thank you so much to her.
That was so sweet and soexciting to just like have a
little piece of that magic.
SPEAKER_03 (27:59):
Thank you, friend.
SPEAKER_01 (28:00):
Thank you.
And then big news for Yeah.
Yeah.
(28:34):
tireless supporter, advocate, and leader of the theater
community, playing a key role inturning Broadway's lights back
on during the unprecedentedpandemic shutdown.
It's a truly remarkable record,end quote.
And it's especially remarkableconsidering that Disney
Theatrical Group has onlyexisted since 1993.
So it has only had six years ofexistence without Schumacher as
(28:56):
he was named co-president in1999.
Yeah.
So everything that it is as weknow it now is
SPEAKER_03 (29:03):
thanks
SPEAKER_01 (29:03):
to Thomas
Schumacher.
So thank you, Thomas.
And I hope that if you'reretiring, please enjoy yourself.
You've done a lot.
SPEAKER_03 (29:11):
You've done a lot.
SPEAKER_01 (29:12):
But also, like,
don't go far.
And finally, in some non-Disneytheater news, Connor and I are
going to see Masquerade, theimmersive production of Phantom
of the Opera, because we're justtreating ourselves these days,
later this month in New YorkCity.
So if you have any interest inhearing about it, let us know.
We are considering a bonusepisode if there's enough
(29:34):
interest around our experienceas it is nearly sold out and is
still relatively mysterious onpurpose so obviously if we talk
about it in an episode we willinclude spoilers which obviously
we have been avoiding up untilthis point and obviously there's
no coverage allowed inside theshow so it's just word of mouth
so if you want to hear about itlet us know because I think
we're really going to want totalk about it I'm counting down
(29:56):
the days until we go do that I'mso excited and let's wrap this
up with we're kind of going backto merch but it's more gaming I
suppose because For me, it'smerch more than gaming.
Um, we're going to talk aboutLorkana Fabled.
So this is a new series ofLorkana cards that just dropped
with two new starter deckstaking inspiration from Disney
princesses, classic Mickeycartoons like The Brave Little
(30:18):
Tailor, and a goofy movie.
So now I have Lorkana cards.
Again, this is merchandise to mebecause what the hell do I do
with these?
I still don't know.
Um, so we will have to keep youup with my journey of figuring
out how to play this.
Um, Little ASMR.
(30:39):
Yeah, I have a beautiful Tianaholder for my cards.
SPEAKER_03 (30:44):
Yeah, I have an
Ursula deck box.
I got strong-armed into it bysome of our members of our Poor
Unfortunate
SPEAKER_01 (30:54):
fam.
Yeah.
SPEAKER_03 (30:55):
So I guess this kind
of is a nice
SPEAKER_01 (30:56):
segue
SPEAKER_03 (30:58):
into our last bit of
news for you all, which is that

SPEAKER_03 (31:35):
got tons of
different channels for you to
interact with, talk to eachother, talk to us.
It's messaging, so it just feelsso much more casual than
SPEAKER_01 (31:43):
like posting
something.
I was going to say, it feelslike sending a text more to me.
Slack is a good comparison.
SPEAKER_03 (31:48):
Yeah, it's like a
big group chat.

for different categories.
So you can kind of focus on whatyou're the most interested in
talking to people about, whichjust makes it feel much more
navigable for me, which I love.
Yeah.
So
SPEAKER_03 (32:20):
we've got gaming.
So the people out there who areinto Lorkana, we've got people
who talk Lorkana.
But then we've also got peopletalking about park tips and
tricks or cruise tips andtricks.
